This is a very long chapter.

The gang had dried off and slept the night. Morning came and the water from the lake made it slightly humid. "Ah, that was a good sleep." Leo stretched like a cat.

"How the hell are you able to sleep on this rock hard ground?" Aries grunted in pain. "My back is killing me." "What can I say? I'm awesome and not an old man." Leo scoffed. Aries stumbled as he got up and ignored Leo's arrogant comment.

"Damn, I forgot we ran out of food." Aries fumbled through the bag. "Yea we need to go out and get food." Aquarius yawned. "Is your leg ok?" Taurus asked with a concerned tone. "As a matter of fact I think they can come out today." Virgo opened her kit to grab the scissors.

"Oh not this again." Aquarius groaned. "This won't hurt....much." Virgo muttered the last part quietly. "Excuse me?" Aqua wanted to hear the last part. "Nothing, just don't move unless you want stitches again." Virgo warned.

Virgo simply slid the scissors underneath the stitched and slowly cut them up her leg. Aqua winced in pain but Taurus was holding her hand, supporting her. "It's ok." He whispered in her ear.

In a few moments the operation was over. Virgo wiped down her leg, the only thing left was a light scar. "You did great Virgo! Barely left a mark!" Aries complimented.

Aquarius stood up, nothing, no pain at all. She walked perfectly and not like a women who was drunk. She gave Virgo a big hug. "Well are we gonna go get the food yet?" Taurus whined. Everyone sighed at him and shook their head. "What?" He looked in confusion.

The group exited the trees and found themselves on the deserted highway again. They spotted a small and quaint house on the other side. It was placed on a prairie. The wheat used to be a rich golden brown but now it was black and wilted, aching for water.

"Let's go." Leo began walking across the highway, his pistols in hand. Pisces grabbed his shoulder. "What if their are infected in there?" She said quietly. "Where aren't there infected." He chuckled. Pisces let him go and followed.

They were on the front porch now the house was old and creaky, it's white paint was fading, revealing the brown decaying wood underneath. "How are we gonna get in?" Leo looked around. "Through the front door you dumbass." Aqua jiggled the knob. "Right I knew that." He looked at the ground.

The door creaked as the opened it. The musty odor floated around and dust lifted with every step they took. "I wonder who lived here before." Gemini swept a finger over the dusty table. "Or who lives here." Aqua said quietly while assessing her surroundings.

Taurus had his head in the fridge, humming a happy tune that sounded like he was saying food food o'happy food oh how I love food, something like that. He didn't find much and grumbled in frustration.

The floorboards groaned at every step they made. "Should we check upstairs?" Aries stood by the stairs. "I don't know upstairs is where all the killing happens in a horror movie." Leo stared at Aries. "Isn't that supposed to be the basement?" He corrected him.

"But what if there is good stuff up there?" Aqua bit her lip as she debated with herself. "This ice cream is good." Taurus stood next to her licking the ice cream from the container, Aqua stared at him in terror. "What?! I don't have a spoon ok?!" He took his head out.

"No that doesn't make sense." Aqua formed a answer in her head. Taurus tilted his head in confusion. "It doesn't make sense that there is no spoon?" He continued licking the container.

"Was that ice cream frozen?" Aqua asked. "Frozen and delightfully creamy." He answered. Aqua check the freezer, it wasn't cold it was room temperature. "How the hell do you think ice cream is cold and creamy in freezer that doesn't work?" She stared in utter shock.

"It's magic ice cream?" He tried clearing it up. "NO it means someone is here or has been very recently." She looked up the stairs. "And they could very well be up there."

"It's definitely not infected, they don't eat human food they eat humans." Virgo narrowed down. "So it must be a human!" Aqua silently yelled. "A living human? Down here? No chance." Aries scoffed.

"It's a very low chance but not impossible." Virgo clarified. Aries sighed. "Well then what are we waiting for?" Leo asked taking the first step. "Death." Aries answered his rhetorical question.

They rest followed Leo hesitantly. After the first few steps Leo startled his footing. "You scared?" Aries teased. "Shut the hell up! I don't see you leading us!" Leo glared at Aries.

Pisces was the second one, right behind him and she was constantly looking at the ground. She saw something shine in front of Leo's foot, it was long and very taut. Pisces eyes widened as she realized what it was. "LEO!" She yelled. Too late.

Leo stepped over the thread and a clicking noise echoed. "DUCK!" Pisces shoved him to the ground. Everyone followed. A large boom resonated through the house it was aimed straight for his head. A shotgun was hidden in the walls, ready to pulverize anything that passed it.

"Holy shit." Leo muttered. Pisces was breathing heavily. "You saved me." Leo said breathlessly. "Don't make a big deal about it." Pisces took a big breath in. "Don't make a big deal?! That thing could have shot my head to pieces!" Leo gripped Pisces's arm.

"But I was right about one thing. The death happens upstairs." Leo let out a low laugh. It was incredible that he could joke right after he could have been filled with bullets.

"Let's keep going" he said fearlessly getting up. "Are you crazy?" Aries yelled from behind. "Yep." Leo smirked. They survived the way up the stairs they just had to get through the long hallway.

"Damn it! There's more?!" Taurus ruffled his hair. "So who's gonna go first?" Leo asked moving out of the way. " Capricorn took a step forward "you sure?" Leo asked. Capricorn nodded and pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"Fuck this shit I'm out." Aries made his way to the stairs. "Oh no you are not going anywhere." Virgo grabbed him by the collar and pulled him back. He sighed and crossed his arms silently like a child.

His ruby eyes glowed in anger and fear. Capricorn took a few steps forward, nothing happened so far. They were in the middle of the hall way until a loud beeping noise alerted them. BEEP BEEP BEEP. "Crap it's a motion sensor." Cap raced to disarm it.

At the end of the hallway a shaft opened revealing three black holes. "What the hell is that." Aries cursed pulling out his sniper.

In a flash three small knives launched from the holes, aimed right at them. "SHIT!" Leo yelled.  Aries shot three single bullets at the knives, making them harmlessly fall to the ground.

"What person has time to make all these?!" Cap stopped the alarm before more knives shot out. "One with a lot of time." Aquarius got up and stomped to the room on the left.

"Aqua wait!" Taurus called after her. "Come out you bastard or bitch, whoever you are!" She felt her face heat up in anger. She panted. Everyone lined into the room. "Nobody is here? This is the only other room aside from the bathroom in this house." Taurus looked out the window.

"Um guys we have company." Taurus pointed out the window. Aquarius didn't bother looking. Infected, they were following them. Everyone except Aqua looked out the window. She was furious, she almost died twice to some stupid alarm system.

She huffed and crossed her arms. Everyone was too busy thinking of a strategy to get out. She felt a rough and calloused hand wrap around her mouth and quickly pulled her into the closet behind her. She made a small noise which was soon silenced when she felt cold metal against her neck.

"You will be quiet." A low seductive voice whispered in her ear. He pressed the metal further into her neck, to make his point. "You will leave this house, and you will not speak of me." The voice said heavily.

Aqua noticed her legs were still free. She kicked open the closet door, the bright light shined on them. Everyone turned around and pulled out their weapon at the person. "Your going to wish you hadn't done that." He uncovered her mouth and tightly wrapped his arm around her waist.

The metal he was holding to her neck was in fact a glistening katana, that looked like it could take the head off of just about anything. "Don't touch her." Taurus hissed his machetes in hand. "I already am." Aquarius could feel the man snicker. Oh great a smartass.

"Take one step and I will slit her throat! Now tell me who you are?!" He ordered. Leo hated it when someone bosses him around. "We are a group of people from the ODV academy we are out here on a mission, it's more of a test." His eye twitched in anger.

The guy slightly loosened his grip in surprise but not enough. "You mean there are people up there?" He suddenly sounded innocent he sounded sincerely curious "yea there's lots buddy." Taurus growled at him.

"You mean I'm not the only human?" He sounded relieved now. "Your looking at humans dumbass." Leo hissed. "Let her go!" Virgo said defiantly. The man stared at the small human being and almost laughed. "Will you kill me?" He squinted his eyes. "Not if you don't kill her or us." Taurus made a deal.

"Fine." He let her go and Aqua stumbled into Taurus's arms who protectively surrounded her. She got a good look at the guy and she was blown away.

He had tan skin, hypnotizing gold eyes, his dark brown hair almost looked black. It was fairly long, reaching his shoulders. He was tall and muscular from all his years down here, a long snake tattoo trailed across his whole arm.

Damn he was hot

Aqua rubbed her neck but she again stood up straight with no fear. "What's you name?" She asked. He mentally debated. "You first." He finally said. "I'm Aquarius this is Taurus, Virgo, Leo, Aries, Pisces, Capricorn, and Gemini." She pointed to each one of them as she said there names.

"I'm Ophiuchus."  He said.
