The drowning sound of an alarm made me open my eyes the next morning. Obviously it wasn't my own alarm, because why on earth would I set one on a Sunday? After a few blinks, I shifted towards the edge of my bed - that's when I realized I was still wearing my sneakers.

Better said, another person's sneakers. I held my pulsating head with one hand, still feeling kind of dizzy. What the fuck happened yesterday? I can't remember anything after I had a talk with Siu.

My whole body felt worn out and disgusting, which was confirmed by a look in the mirror next to my door, as I was about to leave the room.

„Oh my gosh!", I approached the mirror a little more to get a closer look at my smudged face. Runny mascara and crusty concealer. I absolutely love the pain when you forget to remove your make-up and fell asleep.

But this time I couldn't even remember how I got here.

My eyes shifted down a little and caught the sight of a stranger, much to big jacket as well. The blue-white college jacket was almost buttoned to the top.

My fingers stroked across the patch on the left side of the jacket, showing the letters „LH". A little below, the name of my school's football team embroidered on it.

WHAT THE FUCK?!

Why on earth was I wearing Heeseung's jacket?

I quickly started unbuttoning it, but froze in shock as I only saw my bare skin below the fabric.

Shit!

I hugged myself tightly, almost panicking because of ignorance.

Should I ask my brother about that happened? Well, probably the worst idea. I am sure he was already planning how he could kill me. So I preferred to keep my distance from him.

I don't have Siu's number yet. Maybe I should call Jake? A better idea than calling Heeseung personally.

But I quickly decided to take a shower to wash off this disgusting feeling before doing anything else.

I tied my slightly damp hair into a loose bun and dialed Jake's number, while crouching down in front of my bed.

Jake:

„Hyeo?"

Hyeona:

„Hey, do you have a minute?"

Jake:

"Uhm sure! I have to leave for training in about 5 minutes. But what do you need?"

Hyeona:

"What happened yesterday? I can't remember anything."

I felt my cheeks flush from embarrassed. I'm sure I don't wanna know what happened...

Jake:

"You got very drunk and Heeseung brought you home."

Hyeona:

"But maybe anything else? Like I don't know but something I definitely should know?"

Jake:

"What the fuck? I don't know if something happened between you and Hee."

Hyeona:

NOO! THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT! Nevermind...

Jake:

By the way, is Hoon at home? I couldn't reach him the whole morning.

Hyeona:

I can check if you want me to

I quickly left my room and pecked my head inside my brother's. He was still sleeping, a bottle of beer next to him on the nightstand.

Hyeona:

He's sleeping

Jake:

This lazy dork should get his ass out of the bed. He knows about that important game next week.

Carefully, I closed the door again, and walked down the stairs.

Hyeona:

I'm sure he won't come today. He's more than dead.

You could hear Jake cursing with his Aussie accent, which caused a smile to spread across my face. We should definitely communicate more in English, because it sounds honestly amazing in comparison to my lazy American English.

Hyeona:

Uhm Jake, by any chance, would you be able to pick me up here?

Jake:

Sure! Want to cheer on the best player?

I could literally feel his smirk through his smartphone.

Hyeona:

Of course. I won't disappoint you as your biggest fan, Jakey.

Quickly, I headed over to the bathroom, to blow dry my hair. Omg, what should I tell Heeseung when I return his jacket. It feels so helpless when you just can not remember anything. Hopefully I didn't act weird, like I always do when I drank too much. Since I had no idea how long Jake would take to pick me up, I walked to our front door and squatted down on the stone stairs, while waiting for him.

I bobbed my feet up and down while fidgeting with my fingers. Why the hell do I get so nervous when I see this crappy jacket hanging over my forearm.

Not a minute later, a black car braked in front of my house. I went over to the other side of the street and dropped onto the passenger seat with a sight.

"No hello?", Jake said and maneuvered the car back onto the road. I rolled my head over the headrest and faced at the brown-silver haired boy. "Hey Jake". I squealed and faked a smile, noticing he was wearing exactly the same jacket.

"Why are you holding Hoon's training jacket?", he asked, as he peeked down at my hands.

"It's not Hoon's.". My fingers clenched into the fabric as I fastened my seatbelt. „It's Heeseung's".

A smirk formed on Jake's face, but you could tell he was trying to hide it. "So that's why you kept asking me if something happened?". He curiously rised his eyebrows. "I don't even know how I got home, and woke up wearing this. So, I just wanna know what happened.". I explained.

„You complimented my hair by the way.", Jake grinned proudly. „And kept playing with it.".

I glared at him in surprise. „Well, it wasn't a lie though.". My hand reached out for a tiny strand on his forehead and carefully brushed it off his face. "I really like this color.". I marvelled.

"Isn't your birthday in about 3 weeks?", Jake asked. "Two and a half, yes.".

"What are you planning to do? Party? Clubbing?", he interested waited for me to reveal my plans. "Uhm, nothing?", I confessed.

"The last time I celebrated my birthday I was in elementary school.", I chewed on my lower lip, realising how actually sad this fact was. I mean, I'm not that kind of person who hates their birthday, but I never had anybody except Jungwon to celebrate it with. So I skipped it every year.

„You can invite me.", he offered with a smile. „I mean, in case you decide to celebrate it.".

A chuckle escaped my mouth. „You're cute.".

Even myself was startled where this suddenly came from. I buried myself deeper into the seat in embarrassed. "Sorry". I keep on forgetting the fact that Jake was even older than my brother. But since he grew up in Australia, and it was always chill to talk to him, I assumed the Korean formalities didn't really interest him.

"You're cute too.". His answer in his Australian accent surprised me even more - causing my face to slowly flush light pink.

Jake turned the car into the street next to the baseball field, and parked in a space between to other cars on the gravel parking lot.

"Heeseung is already here. So you can speak to him right away.", he nodded towards the dark car next to his.

I awkwardly wiggled behind Jake, following him to the field. The muscles in my feet turned to jelly more and more with every single step.

„Captain, we're having a spectator today!", Jake yelled out to Heeseung on the field while dropping his bag on the bleachers.

Heeseung turned his head and locked his eyes with mine. I exhaled shakily and clenched my hands around the barricade as he walked up to me.

„Where's Sunghoon!?", I heard him calling from afar, and it honestly felt like a slap into my face.

„At home. Sleeping.", I answered, trying to sound confident. „I assume he isn't feeling that well.".

„This dork.", he propped up his shoe up onto the bleachers to tie it. „I told him he shouldn't exaggerate...", you could definitely say he was a little upset.

I turned my body in slow motion. „Heeseung?". I tried to get his attention with a soft voice. „Can we...uhm...talk?". He finally glared up at me, rolling his shoulders back, as he walked past the barricade again. „Later, Hyeo.".

My gaze followed him running back to the middle of the field, and I gulped. "Damn. That kind of hurt?", I honestly wasn't expecting such a harsh answer. But of course it's understandable. The group is in training now and I shouldn't disturb them.

I stepped back and lowered myself onto one of the bleachers, with a sight. I brushed my fingers along the name patch of Heeseung's jacket, as a voice snapped me out of what I was doing.

"Hey!". I raised my head and met Jake's puppy face. "Smile!", he sketched the mouth of a laughing smiley in the air, which actually made me laugh. "Idiot.", I muttered to him silently.

Heeseung called the team together in the middle of the court, and I noticed that my brother was the only missing player.

Besides me, another girl was standing a few meters away at the barricade and seemed to be watching the game as well. I had never seen her before, but her features reminded me of someone. However, she didn't seem to have noticed me yet, because her eyes were constantly focused on the running team.

I used the time in the meantime to call Jungwon. I promised him yesterday that I would call him today.

Jungwon:

Hey Hyeo! How are you?

Hyeona:

I'm fine, I guess. I can't remember that much.

Jungwon:

My gosh! Didn't you learn from all that stuff that happend in the US?

Hyeona:

I did! Don't judge me, asshole.

Jungwon:

Are you dating Heeseung now?

I could feel his smirk through the phone.

Hyeona:

I'm closer to dating that stone next to me than Heeseung...

Jungwon:

Sad life.

Hyeona:

Won, have you ever lent a jacket to a girl?

Jungwon:

I did, my little cousin...

Hyeona:

...WON! I mean, to a real girl! What does it mean?

Jungwon:

Maybe when someone is cold? Whose jacket do you have?

Hyeona:

Hee's

Jungwon:

What the fuck! You serious?

Hyeona:

I wasn't wearing anything underneath except my bra.

I heard a weird gagging sound on the other side of the line.

Jungwon:

Omg, I chocked so hard on my coke. What happened?!

Hyeona:

I DON'T KNOW. That's why I'm here, sitting at the court and watching their training. I really wanna talk to him, but he just drowned me down.

Jungwon:

Damn. Are you okay?

Hyeona:

Don't pull that stunt now, Jungwon! I know you are not worried.

Out of nowhere, a person suddenly appeared next to me. "Hyeo? What do you wanna talk about?". I almosed shrieked as I recognized Heeseung's figure next to me.
