Since Jay was the only one who seemed to want to go shopping at all, we just followed him through the streets.

Of course, it was exclusively stores in which we could not even afford the socks. But that was his lifestyle, so we didn't complain further.

"What do you think of this jacket?". Jay turned around in front of the mirror and straightened the leather fabric over his shoulders.

"It looks good.". I replied monotonously as I stroked through the various pieces of clothing on the clothing rails. Almost everything was one size and extremely few in number.

"It's $2500," I heard Heeseung whisper a few steps away from me, as he looked at the price tag of Jay's jacket on a rack. "He's out of his mind.".

The saleswoman was already eyeing us suspiciously from the side as we just silently prowled around the store, our faces contorting as soon as we noticed the prices.

"Hyeo!". Jungwon shouted through the store with a grin. "Why don't you try this on?". He held a black lingerie set up in the air.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?", I hissed back. I would have loved to punch him, but then the already tense lady might have kicked us out of the store for sure.

"If you try it on, I'll buy it for you!", Jay now assured me with a smirk as well.

But I just shook my head. "And you imagine that I then present myself in front of you in it? Yeah, no! Forget it.".

"If you want to buy the jacket, you can get the set for free as a gift for your girlfriend.".

"Did you hear, Hyeona baby, my girlfriend!". Jay wiggled his eyebrows and nodded towards the changing room. "Go, try it on.".

So I walked over to Jungwon and snatched the hanger from his hand. "I can't believe I'm actually doing this.". But of course, I didn't say no to a free designer piece.

"This isn't even my size.", I turned to Jungwon who just stood there shrugging his shoulders. "I have no idea about that stuff.".

Suddenly, the woman rushed to me with a nice smile on her face. "We have a few different sizes. What do you need?". Crazy how well these sales people can act. Just a few seconds ago, she was looking at me as if she was going to kill me at any moment.

She finally brought me a size that fit and pulled the curtain closed well behind me. I just wish I had a roll of duct tape to close that little damn slit that keeps swinging open a few millimetres.

"Tell me when you're done, I'll be right there to check on you," the woman disappeared to give me some privacy while I changed.

It felt weird as I felt the straps of my bra slide down my shoulder. Normally, I always ordered underwear online and had it delivered to my home to try on there.

So I hurried even more to put the black lace fabric back on. This helped me at least a little bit to feel not completely naked.

The saleswoman returned after a few minutes to check on me. She was thrilled to see how well it fit me and clapped her hands excitedly. I have not tried on the bottom part of course. Did anyone do that at all? No idea...

"So stunning.", she squealed. "May your boyfriend enter to check on you as well? I guess it's probably a gift for him.". She winked at me.

"Yeah of course I can.".

Jay excitedly hurried down the three flights of stairs to the dressing rooms, while I shook my head in shock.

"No way. He's not my boyfriend.". I clarified, causing the lady's smile to disappear.

"Oh, too bad. You can change and then tell me your decision.".

She left me alone again so I could slip back into my old clothes. "JUNGWOOON? Can you please give me my cell phone for a second.". I had stupidly left it outside in my bag.

"He's not here. He's in the bathroom," I heard Heeseung answer instead.

Oh damn. "Okay, tell him to give me my phone when he gets back. It's in my bag somewhere.".

I turned in front of the mirror a few times to look at the bra from all sides. I pushed my hair up onto my shoulders, then back again, then once to the side. I really had to admit that this piece was really beautiful and studded with many tiny gemstones.

I startled and staggered a little to the side, when the curtain was suddenly pushed to the side.

"Oh my gosh, you scared me!". I pinned myself to the wall and tried to hide my private parts, as Heeseung entered the  changing room hallway and offered me my phone.

"What do you need your phone for?". he asked, as I reached out my hand for it.

"Taking a picture.", I admitted with a flushed face.

He couldn't help but laugh. "Girls are honestly weird.".

"Are you planning to stay in here forever?", I asked him while staring at his face through the mirror since he didn't seem to leave the cabin.

"Maybe".

I didn't waste any time and quickly took a few pictures in front of the mirror. All of them looked pretty strange, as Heeseung leaned against the wall with his arms crossed in the background.

"Does it look okay.". I handed him my cellphone so he could check on the picures I took.

"Yeah. I'd keep it, if I were you.". He answered honestly.

I turned my back to him again to pick up my clothes from the chair, when he suddenly started laughing.

"Why did you take a screenshot of my photo?".

I froze on the spot in shock before snatching the phone out of his hand not a second later.

Fuck, I should have placed the video in my hidden folder.

"I-It's not what you might think...", I stuttered while pressing the display against my body.

"HYUNG?" a voice suddenly sounded from outside, causing Heeseung to turn his head to the left. "Is Hyeona still in there?" asked Jungwon.

"I just gave her her cell phone for a minute." the older boy explained calmly as he left my cabin and pulled the curtain shut completely.

"You went inside, while she was changing?", I only heard Jungwon whisper in shock. He probably thought that I wouldn't hear them talking outside.

I couldn't help but chuckle about this statement. "I am not changing.". I pushed the curtain aside a bit and poked only my head through the opening. "But I will now. So woe to one of you who comes in!"

***

It was the very first time in three days that I entered our house. My mother insisted that I sleep in my room again from today and no longer be a burden to the Yang family. I don't know whether the situation with Sunghoon has changed or what my mom has discussed with him. I just hoped not to run into him.

Currently, the house seemed to be empty. All the lights were switched off and my mom was once again working the night shift at the clinic. However, some noises could be heard from outside and the fairy lights in our garden seemed to be burning.

Nevertheless, I went upstairs to my room. As I said, I wanted to avoid my brother for the next week and a half, since any kind of conversation would only end in an argument anyway.

I placed the bag with my new underwear set on my bed and removed the price tag. Damn. This little bit of fabric would have been $250 if Jay hadn't bought the jacket.

I kicked my sneakers off my feet and searched for fresh clothes from the closet before disappearing into the bathroom. My thoughts instantly drifted back to the car ride into the city.

"Do you both think we're stupid or something?"

"It just sucks and Hyeo doesn't feel well. So cut the bullshit!".

What could he have meant by that.

Could it be that my nervousness was noticeable and that this was clearly a matchmaking attempt by Jungwon and Jay?

Or maybe that he knew that the two of them wanted to set us up but he realized that I had no interest? So he told them to stop?

I don't know. But I do know one thing for sure. I DO have interest and would NEVER turn down an offer from Heeseung IF my brother did not exist.

But since we both, Heeseung and me, know that this would be an impossibility between the two of us, my crush will remain just a secret crush.
