Holy shit.
I kept my eyes closed to be really sure that I was no longer dreaming but had actually woken up. Never before in my life had I had a dream that felt so real. Maybe I should have a check-up with a doctor.
Tired, I stretched my body under the warm comforter and rolled over onto my side where I found Heeseung, as expected. He was already awake, scrolling through his phone. My eyes traced up his body and when I tried to fix a loose strand of hair on his head while I was still half asleep, he turned his head.
"Princess and the pea has woken up.", he joked and grinned at me. "How are you?".
I frowned in confusion. "I'm fine. Why?". I scooted up and rested my back against the headrest. The blanket slipped off my shoulders and I realized that I was bare on top.
"Wait..." I gasped and reached for the blanket again to cover myself. "It was not a dream!?".
"Well.", Heeseung cleared his throat. "It depends on what you supposedly dreamed of.".
I lifted the covers while he kept talking and found my naked lower body as well. "If you had a sex dream, then i can tell you that it most likely wasn't a dream.". His words were buzzing in my head, almost as if I was heavily intoxicated.
"Oh.", my voice trailed off, my eyes staring ahead in slight overload but Heeseung couldn't help but chuckle at my cuteness.
"Look to the right.", he nodded towards the nightstand where a steaming glass of hot chocolate caught my eye. I couldn't hide the look of surprise on my face. That's by far the sweetest thing someone has ever done for me. "Naww, you didn't have to do that!".
"I also bought you some gummy bears.". He smiled and handed me the rustling plastic bag.
I scooted over and placed my head on his lap, my hands hugging his waist loosely. "I don't deserve you.". Heeseung brushed his fingers through my hair as I closed my eyes with a hum. I swear I could have fallen asleep again on the spot. He carefully pulled his blanked over my shoulders, so that I didn't get cold.
"What are you up to, today?", he asked. "We will do whatever you want.".
"Cuddle", I replied curtly and Hee nodded with a laugh, slipped down below the covers an well and hugged me tightly.

[ 2 days later ]
With a string of lights in one hand and my cell phone in the other, I climbed up the stepladder. It was my third attempt to attach the chain to the ceiling and I was so close to just slamming it on the floor and calling it a day. After all, it was sunghoon who had asked me to decorate the living room for his party tonight. Although you could call it decorating at all. A string of beer bottle lights hanging lonely above the balcony window. That was all he wanted. And that suited me just fine, because that's all I would have hung up for him.
Meanwhile, I was on the phone to Kathy once again, who of course wanted every single update on my relationship status.
"And then? Go on!", she wailed impatiently.
"Afterwards we took a shower..." "...and had sex again?". My friend interrupted me and finished the sentence. I couldn't hide the grin on my face. Kathy would probably have punched me if she had seen it.
"Leave me alone. I've been waiting for 19 years.". I pouted.
A laugh burst out of her. "I'm not blaming you! I'm just surprised...like, who has sex again the morning after doing it the first time the night before?". I cheered inwardly when the chain was finally hanging from the ceiling and I climbed down again with relief.
"You wanna know anything else?", I asked annoyed. "I have to go to the supermarket to buy some hotdog sausages now.".
"Yes! How big is his...". I ended the call before she could even finish her question. "...aaand that's it.".
I went over to the coat rack and took my winter jacket from the shelf. On the way out, my mom, who had just come home from work, intercepted me.
"Where are you going?".
"Supermarket!" I shouted as I walked past. "To buy hot dogs!".
"Oh, and there are cookies in the kitchen. I brought them from Heeseung. Tell me if you like them when I'm back!".
Around 50 people were planned for Sunghoon's party. So I had to reckon with about 100 hot dogs. But since I knew my brother, and some of the guests would most likely bring friends of a friend of a friend, I took a few more with me to be on the safe side. Luckily my brother had given me his credit card before he left the house. There was no way I would have paid that crazy ass amount with my own money. Heeseung and the whole group had picked Sunghoon up this morning for a "pre-drink". Whatever that means. But one thing is for sure, if the drinking starts early in the morning, the night will be an unpredictable disaster.
But personally, I couldn't care less.
I would either go to Jungwon or lock myself in my room. Otherwise one of those drunken bastards would stumble into my room for sure.
My mom was still the only one who knew about our relationship and a few times it had only been a fraction of a second before she would have blabbed and exposed something. I was about to talk to Jungwon about it. But, I don't know... He was so mad before my trip. What if he gets it again?
Anyway, I spent the rest of the day at home on the couch. Mom had gone to visit our aunt in Busan for the weekend so that Sunghoon could throw his party in peace. She wasn't keen at first, but after he begged her to go, she finally gave in.
I was torn from my series when laughter from the street suddenly rang in my ears. Great, it's time. With a groan, I got up from the couch and was about to go upstairs, when the front door suddenly opened right in front of my eyes.
"Hey, hey, hey.", Jay shouted and I stumbled back in surprise and almost tripped over the lowest step. "What's up little Park?". I could barely hold on to the railing as the other boys made their way into our living room.
"Are you crazy?! You almost scared me to death!".
My eyes traveled to the right and I noticed Heeseung, who was trying to suppress a laugh.
"Whatever...I'm upstairs. Have fun and please don't destroy the house!", I begged and admonished my brother with a stern look before I went upstairs.
"Why don't you party with us?", Jay yelled after me and made an attempt to follow me, but Sunghoon blocked his way. The boys were obviously already drunk.
"Great idea. Have fun with your...reading stuff, or something.".
Annoyed, I pressed my pillow to my head, as the loud music from downstairs had been giving me a headache for hours. But that only seemed to make the volume worse. I don't know how much time had passed. In any case, it was already past midnight and I had already given up on my book hours ago.
Another clang...there's a good chance the house downstairs would be in ruins by now and Mom would disinherit my brother. I would love to go down and see how bad the degree of devastation has already progressed. But firstly, I didn't want to cause another riot and secondly, I was just too lazy to get out of my pajamas.
A sudden knock, made my head snap towards the door. I slowly freed myself from my covers and climbed out of bed.
Who the heck would annoy me at this time of night? Probably some random drunk dude. Carefully, I pressed the hendle down and peeked outside. "Hee?", I whispered, barely audible due to the booming music.
I noticed him holding another person tightly in his arms and opened the door a little wider. "Do you have a bandage there?".
"What happened?!", I stepped outside and and realized that the bent-down person in front of me was Jay.
"The idiots threw beer bottles at each other.", explained Heeseung, and only now I noticed the the deep wound on his head.
"Are you guys crazy?!", I gasped and entered Sunghoon's room without a second thought. His sports bag was still on his chest of drawers and I rummaged around in it until I found a compress. A loud burp escaped from Jay's mouth, which made me look at the older boy critically. "Are you drunk as well?".
Heeseung shook his head. "I mean, I drank too, but I am not drunk.".
I nodded slowly and helped him place and helped him place his friend on Sunghoon's bed. When I pulled his head up with both hands, he had his eyes closed and without my support, Jay's head would probably tip to one side. Holy shit. This guy is probably more than just drunk.
"This is going to hurt," I wait him out, knowing that he probably wouldn't hear me anyway. But as expected, there was no reaction on his face.
I carefully tapped his wound with a cotton pad, and earned a side eye from Heeseung. "What are you looking like that?". I complained with a grin.
"Stop being that gentle with this asshole.", he grumbled to me.
"Naw, is Heeseungie jealous?", I teased him. "You're welcome to do it yourself.". After these words, he shut up and just watched glumly as I cleaned the older boy's wound.
"What are we supposed to do with him now?".
Heeseung shrugged. "We'll just let him sleep here. There's no point in anything else anyway.". When he loosened the grip around his friend, his body tipped over on its side and soft snoring noises could be heard. "See?". We made sure he was actually asleep and left Sunghoon's room a short time later.
