Ixia was lounging on her bedroom balcony. She heard powerful flapping wings in the distance.

Guessing who was coming, a flash of malice smeared her face. She immediately conjured up a new wooden platform, attached to the balcony and made it look as welcoming as possible. She rushed back to her long chair and waited innocently. A black widow in ambush.

Arcturus spotted her on the balcony. She called out to him. “Arkie!” He stopped mid-air as he watched her make signs, which he understood to mean he should be quiet.

The Dragon acknowledged and went for a landing on the new platform.

He noticed too late the gleam of triumph in her eyes.

The platform collapsed and crumbled under his great weight and he crashed into the pool below with a loud splash, his beating wings sending massive shockwaves through the air.

Ixia roared with laughter as a shockwave sent her flying against the wall and half destroyed the balcony.

Magenta, who was sleeping peacefully and enjoying a particularly pleasant dream that involved his beloved Ixia, was first thrown to the ground by the tumbling air. Before he could get his bearings straight, he was hit by a flood of icy pool water that came rushing through the smashed wall, lapping his innocent limbs with frosty anger. The shock made him bark loudly. The unusual sound reached Ixia and Arcturus, unfortunately for him.

Ixia could not stop laughing, as the Dragon swore and cursed using the filthiest, foulest, most fetid language to ever assail a pair of ears.

As he cursed, a massive fireball began to grow before his bared, sharp fangs.
