"Come on Lisa. It will be fun!" Chaeyoung sat on the edge of Lisa's bed, a pout on her lips, hands pressed together with fluttering eyes as Lisa stared at her, bored and unconvinced in her sweats and baggy shirt.

"Begging will get you no where," Lisa chuckled, shoving another salty chip in her mouth while sliding her focus back to her computer on her lap.

"You know I don't enjoy college parties." She reasoned dryly, wiping the crumbs off her lips with the back of her hand.

Parties was the number one thing she had always planned to avoid when she enrolled. She finds it rather bland and useless.

Why in the world do people enjoy intoxication? For one, Lisa felt more comfortable having control of her body and remembering her nights rather than looking like an absolute fool.

Chayoung groaned and slid to the floor, lying like a starfish and staring at the ceiling looking utterly defeated. "You act like partying and having fun is a sin," she whined, kicking her feet childishly and Lisa couldn't help but roll her eyes with an amusing grin.

Her roommate was an absolute baby.

"If fun means getting wasted and feeling like absolute shit, then I rather be a bore for the rest of my life."

The pink haired girl scoffed, "You're already a bore."

"I resent that."

Chaeyoung groaned again and got up on her knees. She stared at Lisa, scrutinizing the blondes lazy attire before taking a deep breath. She pressed her hands together again and exhaled, smiling widely and begging profusely with her almond like eyes and Lisa braced herself for the worst. She might actually lose this battle.

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No Chae."

"Pretty please?"

"I will hurt you."

"I didn't hear a no," Chaeyoung muttered, eliciting a loud groan of annoyance to rip through Lisa's throat. The blonde slammed her computer screen down and glared at the begging girl with a scowl,

"If I go, do you promise to never ask me again for future parties?" Chaeyoung nodded widely, her smile widening even more while her eyes sparkled in excitement.

"I promise!" Her fingers were crossed and Lisa knew she might regret the night.

"How the hell did you convince her?" Jisoo shouted over the blaring music as they entered the frat house. Chaeyoung winks, a smug smile placed onto her lips. She locks her arm with Lisa's who basically had a permanent scowl on her face. These were the moments she missed her sex craving roommate.

"I just used my charm."

"Charm my ass," Lisa mumbled under her breath. She roamed her eyes around and gulped nervously. Her first ever college party.

The house was pretty huge and filled with people she either recognized or had never met before. It was hot, loud and Lisa just wanted to leave but her two friends were already dragging her deeper into the house.

"Just stay right here. I'll go get you girls some drinks," Jisoo said but then Chaeyoung perked up and decided to go with her, leaving Lisa to be alone. Awkward and alone in a fully packed room. Way to start her night, she thought bitterly. She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned her back against the nearest wall, scanning the room.

"Not a surprise," she said to herself, cringing seeing her old roommate shoving her tongue in some strangers mouth from across the room. She shivered in disgust and removed her gaze away but then her eyes suddenly caught a sight of a certain brunette laughing at whatever the person was saying. She was close enough for Lisa to hear that laugh but far enough for Jennie to not notice her.

Lisa couldn't help but think Jennie looked rather attractive with a genuine smile gracing her pink lips. Something different, something kinder.

Her smile was wide and pretty. From the crinkle in the corner of her eyes to the gums that peaked out as her smile widened. And the Thai wondered how someone could have perfect teeth like Jennie's.

Lisa preferred that smile over her annoying egotistical smirk that never failed to make her shiver in disgust. But, was it always disgust?

Just then, as if Jennie felt eyes on her, she looked away from the person she was speaking to and scanned the room. It only took a moment for her eyes to lock with Lisa and a moment for Lisa's breath to catch in the back of her throat. It felt dry suddenly and she needed water.

Jennie's perfect set of eyebrows furrowed in confusion, as if looking perplexed. But the light in her eyes was clear and so was her excitement. Lisa felt dizzy from her smile.

Maybe now she preferred to see the smirk because then she wouldn't be feeling a weird twist in her gut.

And then, Lisa palms grew sweaty and Jennie excused herself, never removing her eyes away from the blonde and goodness her heart refused to stay still.

Jennie was walking to her and Lisa didn't know if she should run or scream. It wasn't because Jennie was growing closer, it was because she too could not look away from the intensity of the Koreans deep brown eyes. Such a unique shape.

But then, in just a blink of an eye, a taller figure stepped into Lisa's view. A pretty built guy who reeked of alcohol and it took everything in Lisa to not pinch her nose in disgust.

She shuffled uncomfortably in her stance seeing the way the guys dazed eyes shamelessly raked her body slowly. Why the hell was this man shirtless?

"Hey there," the man in front of her husked out, "I'm BM." Lisa pressed herself farther into the wall, wanting to avoid his beer breath,

"Okay?"

He chuckled lowly apparently amused by Lisa's stand off vibe and she knew he was the type that does not take no for an answer. She needed to leave now.

"You seem like you'd be a fun time. Want to get out of here?" he pressed one hand on the wall beside Lisa's head and leaned closer and this time Lisa didn't care to mask her disgust. She tried roaming her eyes around, hoping to catch the eyes of her friends but they were no where in sight. Lisa clenched her fist to the side and narrowed her eyes,

"I'll pass."

He clicked his tongue, smirking even wider and Lisa grew fearful seeing his free hand slowly inching its way to her waist, "Oh come on baby girl--ugh!" One second he was going to touch Lisa and the next he was pulled back by his hair and falling to the ground. Lisa gasped and looked up, eyes widening towards another built man glaring down at Bm.

And then, suddenly, a smaller figure walked around the other man, tapping his arm with a glare on her delicate face,

"Thanks Wonho."

This Wonho guy simply nodded before grabbing Bm and dragging him to God knows where. Lisa exhaled a shaky breath, feeling her nerves wash over her trembling figure.

"Friend of yours?" Lisa asked, referring to the scary built man that was dragging Bm by his neck. She felt breathless and not from what just occurred but from the look Jennie was sending her. Such a rare look and Lisa wondered if her gentle eyes were the cause of her pacing heart.

The brunette shook her head, "Brother, actually," stepping closer to Lisa, studying doe eyes with a slight frown and Lisa could have sworn she saw worry swimming in those cat like eyes.

Lisa could only nod and look down and from her view she could see Jennie's hand reaching over, ghosting Lisa's wrist but never touching. She was being careful.

"Are you okay?" Her voice was so soft, so tender and for some odd reason, Lisa felt safe. It was warm and it was nice.

Carefully, Lisa slowly lifted her gaze and stared at Jennie's eyes. Her brown eyes never removed itself even when Lisa's eyes grew intense and filled with curiosity.

"I'm fine." But, was she really? Because, if she was fine then why was her heart pounding harshly against her bones and why was she blushing? Maybe it was because of Jennie's smile. It looked relieved.

"Good. Not that I'm not happy to see you here gorgeous but, why are you here? This doesn't seem like a scenery you would relatively enjoy." Lisa chuckled with a playful eyeroll,

"Ask your cousin and my roommate. They can be pretty persistent." It was Jennie's turn to roll her pretty eyes. How many times has Lisa called her pretty? And why can't she stop saying that she is?

"Figures." She bit out, snatching her phone from her pocket and Lisa stared at her in confusion but didn't ask who she was texting so randomly. And then Jennie placed her phone into her pocket, smiling up at Lisa and Lisa was sure her heart stopped for a quick second for her to even understand. "Let's go."

Lisa tilted her head, brows furrowed, "What?" And then Jennie freaking giggled. Why the hell does it sound so lovely? Lisa asked herself irritably.

"You're too adorable for this place. And, I'm getting bored here so let's ditch. I'll buy us some ice cream." Jennie gently took a hold of Lisa's hands, smiling as she took notice of the light pink color swimming in Lisa's cheeks but thankfully said nothing about it.

"What about Chaeyoung and Jisoo?" She asked as Jennie began to drag them out of the party and Lisa tried convincing herself that she was only leaving because she hates party and not because Jennie's hands were soft and she didn't mind holding it a little longer. Nor was it because Jennie was smiling at her in that way. Of course not.

"I texted them that I'm buying you ice cream so don't worry about it." Lisa could no longer see her face but from behind she could clearly see Jennie's ears turning red.

She didn't know that Jennie actually texted them that they were complete idiots for bringing Lisa to a party paired with a string of vulgar words. She was embarrassed but she was holding Lisa's hands and that was more than okay with her.

And Lisa refused to admit it but, it was more than okay for her too.
