“You’re despicable!” Jocelyn was furious at Michael.

She did not understand how someone she had admired since she was a child could turn into someone so hateful.

It was said that a daughter is the lover of her father’s previous life but in this case, she must have been his enemy!

She really did not understand why Michael would treat her like this!

Michael said indifferently, “Despicable or not does not matter as long as I get to my goal. Jocelyn, my patience is limited!”

Jocelyn was angry and sad to the point where Lexie could see her eyes redden.

She could not hold back her anger as her tone was cold and vicious. “Mr. White, are you still human?

Jocelyn is your daughter!”

Michael frowned. “Who are you?”

Lexie was furious. “Didn’t you just say you wanted to sue me? How can you not know who I am? I’m telling you, don’t go too far and don’t underestimate the weak. It’s just a letter so do you really think that you can control Jocelyn for life?

“As for sending me to jail, pfft! If you have the guts then go sue me with the surveillance tapes now. If you don’t throw me in jail today then I’ll kill you another day!” Lexie’s voice was cold and sharp which caused Michael to feel a chill down his spine.

He felt a bit frightened. “I’m not talking to you, hand the phone to Jocelyn. Jocelyn, if this thing happens again, then I won’t hold back! Don’t even think about seeing this letter in this lifetime!”

He quickly hung up when he was done speaking, Lexie’s hacking skills were world-class, so no one dared to offend her.

This was the first time she saw someone as shameless, despicable, and insane as Michael!

Lexie held the phone with an indescribable expression while Jocelyn still looked a little confused.

Lexie calmed down and looked at her. “Jocelyn… I’m sorry that I was irrational but I could not take him threatening you any longer!” Due to her irrationality, she might have triggered Michael to burn to the letter… After all, the letter Michael had was very important to Jocelyn.

Lexie tried her best to help her and she could not let anything happen to Lexie! Lexie’s eyes flicked and she grabbed her laptop from the backseat. She turned it on and connected to the car’s network as she asked Jocelyn, “When was the computer in your father’s study installed?”

Jocelyn replied with an estimated time.

Lexie’s hands quickly tapped on the keyboard.

Jocelyn asked, “What are you doing?” Lexie acted quickly and calmly said, “According to the estimated time where he installed his computer and the information on the internet, I can find out his computer’s model. Then, I can hack directly into his computer and wipe the surveillance tapes from it. He probably hasn’t downloaded the tapes to an external device. Without any backup, he doesn’t have any evidence to sue me! Don’t get threatened by him because of me!”

Her fingers stopped when she was done speaking.

She glanced at Jocelyn and had a slight smirk. “I’m done! Technology isn’t advanced enough and not many people can track me! Don’t worry about it!” Jocelyn looked at Lexie and sincerely said, “Xixi, you’re amazing!” Lexie didn’t have a smile on her face but her words made people laugh. “Your friends ought to be amazing!”

Tea When Lexie was done talking, she started the car. “Let’s go, I’ll take you to the hospital!”

Maybe it was because of today’s exciting events, Jocelyn was no longer as annoyed at Michael’s words.

She thought about how Lexie was complaining earlier in the afternoon that she would not be able to see Davis in Prosperity.

She teased Lexie. “Xixi, honestly, if you get caught, I’ll get Davis to bail you out!”

Lexie was stunned and coldly said with a slightly curious tone, “Really? Then I’ll miss the chance to see Davis!”

Jocelyn could hear that her mood was good. She took out her phone and gave Davis a call. “Hang on, I’ll make sure he’ll see you today!” When the call connected, Jocelyn’s voice became dramatic. “Davis!”

Davis had not gotten off work and was talking to Skylar when he was called upstairs. His phone was placed on the sofa when Skyler saw Jocelyn’s name and motioned for him to pick it up. After hearing Jocelyn’s voice, he immediately frowned. “What’s wrong? Did something happen?”

Jocelyn said in a serious tone, “Davis, it’s like this. Something happened to Lexie and me, and now we’re at the hospital. Neither of us brought our cards and we don’t have enough cash on us to pay the hospital bill. Can you come by and help us settle it?” Davis thought that they were seriously injured when he heard that since Jocelyn did not ask him to transfer money but rather asked him to go to the hospital himself.

ILI It was as if she was saying their injuries were not light and had no one to take care of them or as if someone had tricked them and needed his help. Davis immediately responded, “Which hospital? Wait for me, I’m coming right away!”

Jocelyn replied, “It’s the one Lexie stayed at last time, Claude Hospital!”

Davis hung up and looked at Skyler with a serious expression.

Before he could say anything, Skyler frowned at him and asked with a deep voice, “Is it Jocelyn? What happened to her?”
