Chapter 20 Leah’s face flushed red, knowing that Lily must have heard what she said about earning merely two thousand monthly.

Penny and Benson were irritated by Lily’s intentional humiliation.

A young seller rushed over and politely offered, “Hi, sir. Could I show you around? If you don’t mind having an intern as your seller, I am at your service.”

Nathan declined indifferently, “No, thanks. I’d rather have Lily tell me the price for this Five Series.”

Though Lily was taken aback, she continued mocking them, “What’s the point of knowing the price? It’s not like your budget allows it.”

Nathan’s response was picking up a chair and hurling it at the car!

Bang!

The windshield cracked and left a cobweb pattern.

Everyone was in shock. Even the other customers became motionless as they stared at Nathan. It was as if time had stopped.

Nathan then casually inquired, “May I know the price now?”

Lily struggled to recover from her fright, but the thought that she might lose her job was not helping. She screamed, “It costs five hundred thousand! How could you break it? You’re so done...”

Nathan interrupted her by taking out his credit card, handing it over to Mia, “It’s mine now.”

Mia stuttered, “Sir... It’s already damaged. Are you sure? How about we look into compensation? That’d be a cheaper option.”

“There’s no need for that.”

Everyone else was still blown away. Lily was at a loss for words, as her jaw dropped to the floor.

She could not believe how Nathan did not have to think twice before smashing the car, only to pay for it in full.

Mia completed the purchase momentarily.

Lily could have profited from the commission of selling a Five Series.

The rest of the sales team regretted not talking to Penny’s family earlier.

They all watched as the handsome commission fell into the intern’s lap.

It went without saying that Lily’s face was the most entertaining and satisfying to watch.

Mia returned the credit card to Nathan as she suggested, “Mr. Cross, we will need to fix the windshield. What do you think if you leave it here? I’ll let you know when it’s ready.”

Nathan replied in a neutral tone, “No fixing is needed. Can you help me find my wife a better car?”

Mia’s eyes widened, “Then this one...”

“-it’s damaged. I don’t want it anymore. You can have it if you want!”

Is he really tossing away a half-million-buck car just because the windshield is shattered?

The rest of the sellers were increasingly astounded. They shot Mia an envious yet resentful look.

Especially Lily, who was green with jealous rage by now.

Mia’s heart throbbed fast as her face flushed - this was the most that she had earned so far. After thanking Nathan repeatedly, she recommended a car from a higher-range for Penny.

“Mr. Cross, this is our most premium model, M760Li xDrive. It’s 26.5 hundred thousand. What do you think about it?”

Nathan remarked, “It seems so-so, but we’ll take it.”

Nathan let Mia swipe his card again.

The way he bought two cars in a row got the manager’s attention. Not to mention one of them was a Seven Series with deluxe accessories.

Wade, the manager, stood beside Mia to oversee the transaction. This was when he realized that Nathan’s card was actually a supreme black card.

Only twelve people in the nation owned this type of card. Undoubtedly, all twelve of the owners were extremely affluential and influential.

The card gave Wade a huge blow.

He held it with both hands as if it was a bible, then paced towards Nathan with Mia.

Handing Nathan the card, Wade buttered him up, “Nice to meet you, Mr. Cross. I am the manager here, Wade. It’s our honor to have you here. I was wondering if we could exchange contacts.”
