Mikha's Pov
"Mikhaela lim seriously." Gwen said.
"What?" I asked.
Si jho, colet at gwen bigla-bigla ako binisita dito sa bahay.
"She accepted your feelings. Palagi kayo nag-uusap at sa condo mo siya natutulog." Jho said.
"And you still haven't asked her yet if you can court her." Colet said.
"Well, i don't know how to ask her." I said.
The three of them are staring at me. Sabay pa sila napa-buntong hininga.
"Bestfriend ka nga namin." Gwen said.
"Wait may idea ako." Colet said.
"I'm open to suggestions." I said.
"Remember next week is our vacation in baguio." Colet said.
"I remember." I said.
They are still staring at me.
"That's next week already?" I asked.
"Yes, that's also the right timing for you to ask to court her." Jho said.
"Nagtataka kami bakit ang slow mo sa ganitong bagay mikhs." Gwen said.
"It's my first time and i don't really know what to do." I said.
"Okay it's time for us to help you." Colet said.
"Just go with the flow mikhs, kami bahala." Jho said.
I nod at them and they are smiling at me. This time i really need their help.
The next few days, i've been busy planning on how to ask aiah while helping her with the big case. Nakakausap ko na din si denise since regular customer siya. Right now nasa harap ako ng law firm.
"Hi mikha." Bryan said.
"Hello kuya bryan, i brought snacks." I said.
"What are you doing here? Thanks for the snacks. Come inside." Bryan said.
Kuya bryan and i went inside the building.
"Kuya bryan i have something to tell you." I said.
Pumunta kami sa balcony.
"What is it mikha?" Bryan asked.
"Attorney bryan arceta, i wanna court your sister maraiah queen arceta." I said.
Seryoso ako tumingin kay kuya bryan tapos tumingin na ako sa mga ulap.
"I know this is not a right timing since aiah has a big case but i don't wanna waste this chance to show her my effort that i really like her." I said.
I turned to look at him. He's seriously looking at me.
"I know that i'm a girl but i won't back down. My feelings for your sister is really serious." I said.
"Mikha i'm not objecting in you wanting to court aiah but i'm not the only one you should be asking." Richie said.
"Huh?" I said.
"I'm talking about ang magulang namin, you know asking the paren'ts is the first move." Bryan said.
"Well, about that kuya. I already booked a flight to canada and i'm leaving tomorrow." I said.
"What? Really? That's unexpected. Mikha lim you're full of surprises." Bryan said.
"Kuya would you mind distracting aiah while i'm away? Para hindi siya makahalata." I said.
"Sure. My advice for you is just be yourself and you'll be fine." Bryan said.
"Thanks kuya." I said.
We went back inside, i gave some of the snacks to the employees then i went to aiah's office which is empty. Sabi ni jaz nasa conference room pa si aiah. Naisipan ko umidlip habang nakaupo sa couch. After a few minutes i felt someone poked my cheek. I opened my eyes, it's aiah. Umayos ako agad ng pagka-upo.
"You fell asleep." Aiah said while smiling.
"Sorry, i might have been tired from work." I said.
"You should have went home instead of going here." Aiah said.
"Okay lang ako, i brought snacks." I said while smiling.
"You got in me on the word snacks." Aiah said.
She sat beside me, we ate the snacks i brought.
"Thanks for the snacks mikhs, himala napagod utak ko sa case." Aiah said.
"You're doing a good job aiah." I said.
She leaned her head on my shoulder.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yes, just a bit tired." Aiah said.
"Then let's get you home, you need some rest." I said.
Hinatid ko si aiah sa bahay nila, nag dinner na din ako sa kanila kasi ayaw ako pauwiin ni tita cathy ng hindi nagdidinner. Aiah asked if i can sleep here for tonight, i can't say no to her so nakahiga na kami sa bed niya. It's my first time to sleep here.
"Are you sleepy?" I asked.
"A little bit. Would you mind singing a song for me?" Aiah asked.
"My voice might not be that good." I said.
"I wanna hear your voice while i fall asleep." Aiah said.
I smiled hearing those words by her. I know the song i want to sing for her. I started to sing.

I felt that aiah's already asleep. Dahan-dahan ko siya kinumutan.
"My heart will always beat only for you." I said.
I kissed her forehead then went to sleep too. The next day hinatid ko muna siya sa law firm. I told her that i'm going to baguio for three days.
"Why three days?" Aiah asked.
"I'm needed at my restaurant there. After i get back we can get the evidences then you can finish the hearing for the big case. Then makapag-enjoy tayo ng bakasyon natin sa baguio kasama." I said.
"Oh right that's already next week. Three days ka lang dun ah." Aiah said.
"Are you gonna miss me that fast?" I asked.
"Of course, i'll miss you." Aiah said while smiling.
"I-I'll get going then, have a great day aiah." I said.
Kinilig ako sa pagkasabi niya mamiss niya ako. She went inside the building while i went to my condo to get my things first then to the airport. May tumatawag sa phone ko.
Call Conversation:
Me: Hello mom.
Mom: Nasa airport kana?
Me: Kakarating ko po.
Mom: Okay safe travels honey. I already called your grandma, si tito mickey mo ang mag-susundo sayo.
Me: Thanks mom.
I ended the call and boarded the plane. This is gonna be a long flight. After several hours, i arrived in canada and it was already nighttime. Nakita ko agad si tito mickey, we're now on our way to grandma's house.
"Mikha it's great to see you." Tito Mickey said.
"It's great to see you too tito, kamusta kayo ni lola dito?" I asked.
Tito mickey and grandma lives here in canada, she wants to enjoy life in another country so mom let her go with her brother. She's my mom's mother. They even have a company here, the jimenea company which tito mickey is the ceo. Our family in the lim and jimenea side are rich but i don't show it and it's their money not mine.
"She's doing fine, namimiss niya kayo." Tito Mickey said.
"Next time i'll visit again with mom and papa." I said.
"Speaking of your papa, i just had a video call with him last week. They kept us updated of what's happening in the philippines" Tito Mickey said.
"The last time i called grandma was after the grand opening of my new restaurant in qc. I've been busy there." I said.
"That's not the only reason you been busy mikha. " Tito Mickey said.
"What do you mean tito?" I asked.
"Nakakapagtaka talaga pagka-slow mo in that topic. We'll talk about it later." Tito Mickey said, laughing a bit.
I looked at the night view of canada, it's truly beautiful just like her. Speaking of her, i looked at my phone. Ang dami niya message sa instagram ko. Lagot, mag-reply na ako para hindi siya makahalata.
Chat Conversation:
Aiah: Mikhs nakarating kana?
Aiah: Rest first before you go to the restaurant.
Aiah: I'm on my way home now.
Aiah: Seems like you're busy.
Aiah: I miss you mikhs.
Me: Hi aiah, i just woke up. I went to help at the restaurant when i arrived.
Aiah: You should have rest first.
Me: Naka-idlip din ako pagkagaling sa restaurant. Why are you still awake?
Aiah: I can't sleep and i was worried about you.
Me: Really? You're worried?
Aiah: Of course. Hindi ka nag reply for several hours.
Me: Sorry sa late reply, i'll make it up to you.
Aiah: Hmm.
Me: Pagkauwi ko dyan, let's do a movie night sa condo ko.
Aiah: I would love that, promise?
Me: I promise. Get some sleep aiah, i miss you too.
I put my phone on my pocket. We're not yet in a dating or relationship stage but the feeling is like we're already a couple. Does she feel the same?
"Mikha we're here." Tito Mickey said.
I went out of the car and went inside the house.
"Mikha dear." Grandma said.
"Grandma." I said.
I hugged my grandma jema.
"I missed you grandma, sorry po naging busy lang." I said.
"It's alright dear. I'm glad that you're here even for just a short time." Grandma said.
"Well, she's right on time because it's time for dinner." Tito Mickey said.
We went to the dining room. Grandma sat in the center habang katapat ko si tito mickey.
"How's your papa and maloi?" Grandma asked.
"Okay lang po sila, they have been busy with work this month especially maloi and i'm helping her in their big case." I said.
Grandma quickly accepted papa and maloi, because she knows how mom and i became happy again. After my parents separated, mom and i had a rough time adjusting but because of papa, our happiness came back. Tinuturing din ni grandma na apo si maloi.
"Mag-ingat kayo lagi ni maloi, every cases may look easy but it's still dangerous." Grandma said.
"Yes grandma, my priority is the restaurant." I said.
"And someone." Tito Mickey said.
"Someone? Oh does this mean someone has captured my granddaughter's heart. Who's the lucky girl?" Grandma said.
Yup you heard it right, my grandma is excited and she also accepts that i like girls. So that was the topic tito mickey was saying earlier.
"Her name is maraiah queen arceta, the same girl that i had a crush since high school." I said while smiling.
"No wonder you're here dear, you're gonna ask permission from her parents." Grandma said.
"Grandma you know the arceta family?" I asked.
"Of course, they are one of our business partners." Grandma said.
"I'm a bit nervous." I said.
"Don't be, just be yourself mikha." Tito Mickey said.
"Tama tito mo, prove to them that you're not asking them as an jimenea or lim but as a person who's really serious for their daughter." Grandma said.
"Thanks grandma, sa support mo palagi." I said.
"Of course dear, we're always be here for you even if we're away from each other." Grandma said.
Nagkwentuhan pa kami habang kumakain. Next time hindi lang sila mom ang idadala ko dito. I'll introduce aiah personally.
