Mikha's Pov
I woke up early to make breakfast then went to the bedroom to wake up aiah who is still sleeping.
"Goodmorning babi, wake up." I said.
"Five more minutes please." Aiah said.
Her eyes are still close.
"Our breakfast will get cold." I said.
"Let's heat it up later." Aiah said.
She pulled me on the bed, she's on top of me. Wait, she's only wearing my t-shirt. Mikha lim don't look down. Yes po something happened to us last night.
"You're blushing." Aiah said.
"No, i'm not." I said.
"Really? Says the person who did something to me last night." Aiah said.
"Uhm t-that's." I said.
"I love you." Aiah said.
She holds my cheek while smiling, i smiled back.
"I love you too." I said.
"I'm happy babi." Aiah said.
"I'm just shy that it's my first time to do it." I said.
"Don't be shy, i'm your girlfriend." Aiah said.
"I have a really beautiful girlfriend." I said.
"Of course, i'm the one and only maraiah queen arceta." Aiah said.
Bumangon na siya then went to the bathroom. I went back to the kitchen, i'm humming while preparing our breakfast on the kitchen countertop.
"Fried rice, longganisa, sunny side up egg and spam. Oh right coffee." I said.
"Amoy palang ang sarap na agad." Aiah said.
"You always say that to every dish i make." I said.
"Except sa luto ng mom ko at mom mo, luto mo ang pinakaborito ko." Aiah said.
The feeling that she always compliment me even in small things. We ate breakfast then i drove her to the law firm before going to colet's office. Trip ko dalhan sila ng coffee.
I knocked first then opened the door. Revealing inside was not colet but also maloi. Naka-sandal kamay ni colet sa cabinet habang si maloi ay nakaharap sa kanya. May mga files na nahulog.
"Goodmorning, coffee?" I said.
"Vergara paki-ayos mga files mo. Thanks sa coffee mikhs." Maloi said.
Umalis bigla si maloi pagkakuha ng isang coffee, walang pagbati sakin? Kinuha nalang bigla yung coffee? Tinignan ko si colet na pinupulot mga nahulog na files.
"Maria nicolette vergara, i smell something fishy." I said.
"Baka hindi ka naligo." Colet said.
"Naligo ako ah. Ito oh coffee." I said.
Binaba ko muna mga coffee bago umupo sa couch. Actually office ito ni colet at jho, may sariling office ang dalawa. Umupo sa tabi ko si colet.
"Can i get an advice mikhs? Something is bothering my mind." Colet said.
"Sa wakas humihingi ng advice in person ang isang nicolette vergara. Akala ko sa video call ka pa hihingi ulit ng advice." I said.
"About love, yesterday i talked with aiah at the park. She said this topic is your expertise." Colet said.
"This topic?" I said.
"I was about to confess to maloi that i like her but i backed out. Sinabi ko din kay aiah na susubukan ko umamin kahit ano man maging outcome." Colet said.
"Why did you backed out?" I asked.
"Because justin might already be courting her, the guy who likes her since college. Earlier i heard them talking in the hallway, he's asking her out." Colet said.
Justin is also colet's teammate in maloi's team.
"Aiah's right, this topic is my expertise." I said, laughing a bit.
"Hindi ko alam ano gagawin ko mikhs." Colet said.
"Like you, i thought i have no chance in aiah because i'm a girl but look at me now. Fate has given me another chance to confess and i didn't backed out this time." I said.
"What if she rejects me? I'm afraid to get hurt." Colet said.
"Getting hurt is part of it. Alam mo na dati pa na, i was also hurt even if i didn't confess yet. There's one thing you should always remember." I said.
"What?" Colet asked.
"Don't ever give up and she's not taken yet so try confessing." I said.
I pat her shoulder while smiling.
"Punta na ako sa restaurant, kaya mo yan nicolette." I said while smiling.
Mukhang strong si colet pero pagdating kay maloi humihina din siya. Pumunta na ako sa restaurant ko. The whole day of work was quite fast. I guess time pass by really fast when you love what you do.
I told stacey to tell the others that i'll treat them tonight for dinner outside after we're done cleaning up. Nag-vibrate phone ko, nag-text si aiah. I already told her that i'll be having dinner with my staffs tonight. She said that she'll wait for my call. I felt that someone is looking at me and that someone is stacey.
"You know mikhs, i'm still not used to it that finally you are in a relationship with aiah." Stacey said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because as her bestfriend and your schoolmate during high school, i remembered how you get flustered lalo na pag nakaka-salubong mo siya." Stacey said.
"Alam mo ba, if ever i get the chance to talk to myself during high school i wanna say something." I said.
"What would that be?" Stacey asked.
"Continue never giving up and always be herself." I said.
"I think being an adult in love really suits you well." Stacey said.
Stacey pats my shoulder then went back to cleaning up. After a few minutes, we left my restaurant and went to the restaurant where aki and JL are working.
"A dinner treat by the head chef huh? Maybe i should try working for you mikhs." JL said.
"How about build your own restaurant so you can finally propose to kaori?" I said.
"Propose? He's still courting kaori." Aki said, laughing a bit.
"Mas slow pa pala si JL kaysa kay mikha." Stacey said.
Inasar namin saglit si Jl then they went back inside the kitchen. We're enjoying our food.
"Mikhaela janna lim."
That voice, i stood up. It's mr. Dizon, the secretary of my dad jack lim.
"Mr. Dizon, it's been a while." I said.
"Indeed, you haven't visited the mansion since you been busy at your restaurants. Stop being formal mikha." Mr. Dizon said while smiling.
"How's dad? I'll try to visit po." I said.
"He's doing fine. Actually i was about to visit you personally at your condo to personally deliver a message. Since you don't reply to his messages" Mr. Dizon said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"He wants you to attend the lim party this weekend." Mr. Dizon said.
"Tell him i'll attend the party." I said.
"And you can also bring your friends." Mr. Dizon said.
Mr. Dizon bid farewell while i went back to my sit.
"That was mr. Dizon, the secretary of my dad. He told me to come to the lim party." I said.
"A party huh? What's more surprising is it's on your father side party." Stacey said.
"Good luck to me then." I said while smiling.
After eating dinner, i was about to drive to my condo but instead i'm now in front of aiah's house. It's starting to rain but i'm still inside of my car. Someone knocked on the car window, i know it's aiah. I got out of the car, she's holding an umbrella.
"Sabi ni manong guard kanina ka pa daw dito." Aiah said.
"I may have fallen asleep from working for the whole day." I said.
We went inside the house. Aiah's parents just went back to canada and they went with tita cathy for a week vacation.
"Wala si kuya bryan?" I asked.
"He's at his friends house for a bachelor party. Sigurado bukas pa siya uuwi." Aiah said.
"Then you haven't ate dinner yet, lutuan kita at kain tayo." I said.
"Your tired from work and you already ate with your staffs." Aiah said.
"I'm not tired when it comes to taking care of you and i can't let you eat alone." I said while smiling.
I went to the kitchen and start cooking.
"You're staring." I said.
"Is it bad to stare at you?" Aiah asked.
I felt that she's right behind me, i turned around. She placed her hands on my shoulder. Uh-Oh this feeling, i remembered what happened last night.
"Babi." I said.
She hug me.
"Iniisip mo ba yung kagabi? Don't be shy." Aiah said while smiling.
"I-I'm not shy." I said.
"Really? You don't mind if i do this." Aiah said.
She's kissing me, i responded to her kissing. We stopped kissing after a few seconds.
"Babi." I said while pouting.
"Well, i like seeing you flustered by my presence. I think i'm already full." Aiah said.
"Cheeky maraiah, you still need to eat." I said.
I pinched her cheek then continued cooking while she went back to watching tv. After a few minutes, kumain na kami then ako na din naghugas. After that i changed my clothes upstairs at aiah's room. We always borrow each other's clothes, meaning i'll be sleeping here tonight. Bumalik ako sa baba, nasa sala si aiah nagbabasa ng mga files. Tumabi ako sa kanya.
"Thanks for cooking babi." Aiah said.
"Your welcome po. Looks like you're almost finished at your cases this week." I said.
"I'm making sure to finish all of these before the weekend. Excited ako sa date natin." Aiah said while smiling.
I smiled back then played with her hair while she's still reading.
"My dad sent me a message." I said.
"Dad?" Aiah asked.
"My real dad, jack lim. I bumped into his secretary, mr. Dizon." I said.
"Ano sabi niya?" Aiah asked.
"He said my dad wants me to go to the lim party this weekend." I said.
"Then go to the party." Aiah said.
"I want to go to the party with you. I'll introduce you to my dad." I said.
Aiah's looking at me.
"Does your dad knows you like girls?" Aiah asked.
"He does, i talked to him after i graduated college. I thought he would get angry with me but he accepted me." I said.
"Something's still bothering your mind." Aiah said.
"You're using your skills." I said.
"Of course especially i care for my girlfriend." Aiah said.
"I haven't really talked much with my dad since they separated." I said.
"You're nervous." Aiah said.
"I am, i already accept that he already has a new family but i don't know how to talk to him again. I only mustered my confidence to say i like girls." I said.
"Mikha lim he's still your father. Just be yourself and i'll be right beside you." Aiah said.
"Thanks babi. Just you being by my side makes me calm already." I said.
