I forgot to add a line in Ekansh's Pov that he will be deciding to call the divorce lawyer and request him to cancel the making of the divorce agreement paper. (Of course, he will ponder it)

Ruhi:

It's been two hours since I woke up. And since then, my mind has been occupied with multiple questions.

Why Ekansh is doing this all? Is he still considering divorcing me?

If yes, then should I be careful? Because he loves that chudail so much.

And why are we sharing the bed and sleeping in each other arms like other married couples?

What about those passionate kisses we are sharing nowadays?

I want to clarify my questions but don't want to mess up our moments.

The first rays of the sun hit the sky. The time could be 6. I sat and gathered my hair in a bun.  Then I tried to wake him up, "Ekansh!" He woke up smiling brightly at me, "Good morning, Ruhi!"

"We should leave for home," I informed and stood but he pulled me back. I fell right on his chest. He took the chance and held me tight against him.

"We are not going home. We will stay here." He argued otherwise. Sometimes, he acts like a baby.

"Ekansh, sar phod denge Aapka abhi,"

"Ekansh, I will smash your head," I threatened him. He widened his eyes in fake fear and sat up.

"Bache ki jaan logi kya?"

"Are you going to kill me?"

I shook my head at his words, "We will get late," I addressed him, trying to shove him away. When he didn't let me go, I gave him a deadly glare.

"Ok. Angel, let's go home," He announced finally, letting me go.

.

.

"So, on Monday we will take your practical test," our head professor announced. "You will have Sunday to prepare well." We all nodded. Unfortunately, Ekansh were nowhere in the rounds for that. But on eavesdropping on our senior doctor's conversation, I heard that he had some emergency to attend to in the casualty ward.

After the clinical postings, we went to the cafeteria. I was worried about Ekansh. So I text him.

Ruhi: Had your lunch?

Ekansh: Yes with Anthra.

My face dropped. I offed my mobile and threw it in my bag. But when I raised my head, I saw Ekansh and his friend Harshit Pra, whom I met last night.

They just entered the cafe and occupied an empty desk. Ekansh smirked at me and winked his eye.

Once again my mobile beeped with a text message. So I checked it. It was from Ekansh.

Ekansh: Apka gussa bhi humara din bana detha hai. (Even your anger makes my day.)

Deliberately, a smile started to occupy over my face. I lifted my head and glanced at him.

Another message appeared on the notification bar.

Ekansh: Nakh Chidi. Today's class is at 4:30. (Author: I dunno what Nakh Chidi in English is but you can assume Angry Bird)

"Haye mei marjawa!"

"Holy goodness!" I was startled and dropped my mobile on the table by Saniya's sudden exclamation. "You both are into romance. What changed, suddenly?"

I shrugged my shoulders and peeped at Ekansh and his friend, "I dunno, but something has changed."

"I can see that you have been blushing so much since morning," Avinash commented. As usual, he was scrapping the remains of curry from the box I brought for them.

We dropped our conversation and began to discuss the practical test, which we will be having on Monday. After that Saniya took me for a stroll, where she asked about our date.

"So you both didn't have sex?" She probed without any shame. I shook my head.

"I am not ready, and I am not sure about things between us. What if I assume everything is fine and suddenly he will hand me divorce papers."

She gave me a painful smile, but nodded her head, "I understand. Huff! Mohobath!" She whispered and took a deep breath. "Let's go to the lecture hall."

After classes, we exchanged our farewells. Neither of them had a session with their mentors. So, I was alone for that.

Sometimes, I imagine Ekansh making out with Anthra in his cabin. But when I see him alone, I feel relief flowing like bliss in my vessels.

I smiled at him but he gave a weird glance. Ok. Professionalism.

The instant I settled on the chair in front of the desk, he questioned, "What would you like to learn today?"

About things changing between us.

But no. In hospital, he is a strict, Arrogant Dr. Ekansh Razdan, who doesn't like humouring.

"I need some viva tips; we have an exam on Monday."

"Oh!" He sighed staring at my practical textbook. Then he dragged it towards him and went through a few things. "Let's start then!" I took my notebook out and even a pen. I started noting down whatever he spoke.

After a few minutes of our class, he said something unrelated to medicine, "we got an invitation today."

My response was not straight. I tilted my head left and right, and then I asked, unaware and like an innocent girl, "Are you speaking with me, sir?"

"No, with Anth–"

"Sar phod dungi aapka!"

"I will smash your head!" I threatened, sounding possessive before he finished.

He chuckled. "Nak Chidi Kudi. Harshit and his wife, Meera invited us for dinner."

"Tonight?" I asked.

He nodded.

Simultaneously, We received a knock and Anthra stepped inside. "Oh, you seem to be busy?" She asked, approaching him.

"Yes." He replied without any beat. "She is a newly transferred student. And I am her mentor."

"Oh! " she exclaimed and I peeped at her through the corner of my eyes to study her. I don't understand, what he saw in her. She looks like a monster to me. "Then I will text you tomorrow, we can meet out or in my apartment." I squeezed my palms in fists. Suddenly, I got the urge to squeeze her neck until she took her last breath.

"Actually, my big brother and his wife are visiting us, tomorrow."

What? And he didn't feel it important to inform me?

"Okay. Then we will go out someday."

"Yeah!" Then she walked out.

I stayed silent and went through my practical textbook. He cleared his throat.

I raised my brow and glared at him. "Why didn't you inform me that Pra and Parjai are visiting us?"

He shrugged his shoulders and scribbled something on a white paper, "because they aren't."

My brows scrunched in confusion. I stared at him, confused, while he was busy writing down something.

"Ok. So we completed CNS. Now CVS. This list of cases is common in that..." he handed me a paper, "this  can help you."

We moved back to the discussion. The next system was Respiratory. After that, he asked me to pack up and wait at my regular pickup spot. During our ride, my thoughts wandered to the incident that took place in his cabin. He lied in front of that witch.

After we reached home, I asked Uncle Manish to make Motichoor ke Laddu for Mahi bhabhi.

Next, I went to my room and opened my wardrobe. Last evening when I met her, I saw her wearing a saree, so, I decided to wear one. I never wore a saree but Akriti di is the one to select a few of them for me. She even bought a few sexy one-piece night suits, which I threw in the lowermost section and tagged as a Taboo section.

I decided to wear a rose gold silk saree with a grey sleeveless blouse. I wore matching jewellery and even the anklets Ekansh gifted me a day after the wedding.

I received a knock from him after an hour. I let him walk inside. Well, he didn't stop staring at me from head to toe. But my movements revealed that I wore the anklets.

"There is no dress that doesn't suit you. And thanks for wearing those anklets."

I blushed and bite my lips. Then he grabbed my hand and made our way to the ground floor. Gurpreet stood with a bright smile and the package of Laddu in the living room.

"What's in it?" Ekansh asked as we walked to the garage.

"Motichoor ke Laddu, for Mahi bhabhi. She is pregnant and I didn't want to go empty hands."

He cupped my cheek with his right hand and said, "You are so thoughtful, Ruhi."

While we were driving, he asked about the movie we watched last night. "Ruhi, do you remember what Shraddha Kapoor wore in the Aashiqui 2 movie when they made love."

My brows narrowed when I replied casually, "Saree. Why?"

"It's because someone has worn a saree today, and it's constantly reminding me of that scene."

"Besharam!" I muttered and stared out of the window, hiding the stupid, shameless blush. (Shameless man)

We drove for 20 minutes and stopped in front of a building. He pulled the car into the underground parking lot.

Grabbing my hand in his right and Laddu package in his left, we walked to the elevator. He poked the 6th-floor button. After we reached, he led my way towards the left side of the hallway.

"You visit them?' I asked.

"Not frequently but once in a while. Mahu is like you, too kind-hearted. You will love her company."

I nodded my head. He poked the buzzer of their apartment. Mahi Bhabhi pulled open the door for us. "Ruhi!" She exclaimed with enthusiasm and pulled me in a hug taking me into surprise.

"Thanks for inviting us," I expressed. Then I took the Laddu package and handed her. "This is motichoor laddu made of clarified ghee. It will be good for you and your baby." I mentioned, glancing at her bump.

"This was not needed but thank you so much, Ruhi."

"Where is Harshit?" Ekansh asked.

"Here man!" A voice came from our left. Harshit Bhai stepped out, what I felt was a kitchen with a bowl in both hands and placed it on the table.

"Harshit cooked today?" Ekansh sounded astounded; Mahi Bhabhi nodded with a smile. "You know Ruhi, he is a disastrous cook." I giggled.

"Of course, better than you," He said, interjecting Ekansh. "And bhabhi, thanks for visiting us," he expressed.

"You are welcome Harshit Bhai."

"But we are very disappointed with Ekansh. He didn't even bother to invite us to your wedding."

On behalf of him, I explained to her, "It happened in a hurry, Mahi bhabhi. We were not ready and were still in a dilemma. But we can't deny dadu and his dadaji's decision."

"But now, how do you both feel?" I could understand her teasing us. So I lowered my head feeling embarrassed. "Ruhi toh Sharma gayi, Ekansh why don't you reply to us."

Even he had no words. "We are good." He muttered.

"Mahi enough of pulling their legs. Let's have dinner now," Harshit Pra announced inviting us to the dining table.

We all had dinner while teasing and taunting Ekansh by recalling their medicine days. "Do you remember Harshit once we placed a fake hand in his wardrobe and how he screamed?"

My cheeks began to hurt by constantly laughing. I stared at Ekansh and saw him glowering at me. I stuck my tongue out and teased him.

"Of all do you remember when we pranked him by covering ourselves with a white sheet in the middle of the night? Ruhi, you have no idea what happened to him after that. He suffered with a high fever for a week."

"Really," I exclaimed laughing hard. "Ekansh ap toh bhut darpok nikle." (you are too coward, Ekansh.)

Instantly he leaned and muttered in my ears, "kal Rath mei humne bhi dekh liya Jaan, ki ap kitni darpok ho." My cheeks burned with blush. And suddenly the spoon slipped from my hand and dropped on my saree, staining it with curry sauce. (Even I saw, how cowardly you were the other night)

"I need to use the washroom."

"It's on the left side, last room." Mahi Bhabhi informed.

I stood up, and so did Ekansh. "I will come with you. In case you need my help."

"Ahh..." I was about to object but he already walked past me.

I felt nothing but embarrassed to walk inside the bathroom along with him. Especially when we have 2 pairs of eyes watching us.
