It was my birthday as I was getting my hair done once again because Dani decided to tell me today we were going to New York because she and Steelo wanted to take me out to dinner. Dani set up Chloe to do my hair and told her to do something different with my whole look so I was kind of scared. We were boarding a private flight in a bout two hours and my hair was still being worked on.

I looked down at my phone seeing Michael posted a video of behind the scenes at my birthday photoshoot with "Just The way You are" By Bruno mars playing over the video.

I just smiled and slid seeing two pictures from my photoshoot.

I then begun reading his caption that he had under the post that he tagged me in.

"A Friend like you is more priceless than the most beautiful diamond. You are not only strong and wise, but kind, thoughtful and beautiful as hell. Your birthday is the perfect opportunity to show how much I care and how grateful I am to have you in my life. Happy Birthday to one of the most realest women in the world! I just smiled and liked the post I then posted it to my story as people were tagging me all day between my Twitter and Instagram so I just placed my Phone on silent. Chloe pinned my curls up then started on my makeup as I heard my front door open. "So I got you that Valentino body wash you needed for our weekend in New York" Dani explained. "Okay" I agreed. "Your bags is all packed so now all we need is you to be finished and we can go out" she said excitedly.

"Happy birthday!" I heard Steelo yell coming through the door as I smiled "thanks" I thanked as Chloe placed some foundation on my face. " you know Beyoncé wished you a happy birthday?" He asked as I opened my eyes and looked at him. "Who?!" I questioned. "Beyoncé" he repeated then showed me on twitter. "You're also trending" he added I just smiled at my baby picture next to her wishing me a happy birthday.

My doorbell then rung as Steelo went to go get it and I decided to FaceTime Michael but he didn't answer which I didn't hear from him all day so far. I didn't trip because he was filming and I know his hours was everywhere besides I got a text early this morning from him wishing me a happy birthday.

"Dani make sure you take her curls down when you guys land" I heard Chloe say to Dani as Steelo came in with flowers in a vase. "Mrs. Carter sent you some flowers" he informed as I watched him place them on the island next to me and I looked at the card reading "Happy 28th Birthday Love, B".

I immediately grabbed my phone taking a video of it and posting it to my story thanking her. "How did she get my baby pictures?!" I asked. "It's Beyoncé she has everyone's baby pictures" Chloe said as I giggled. "Beyoncé knows who I am, y'all can't tell me shit!" I expressed feeling Chloe pop me upside my head. "Ouch!" I stated. "Quit cussing" she warned as I just sat there. wasn't nothing I could say because she was a home girl to my mother and was like an aunt to me.

"Not you getting in trouble on your birthday" Steelo joked as I just mimicked him and rolled my eyes. Steelo took our bags to the car as Chloe was almost done with my make up. About twenty minutes later my make up was finished and we were on our way to the airport. We went through security then went to our private jet.

Once we got situated on the jet we soon took off and was on our way to New York.

After 3 hours we were soon getting ready to land so I went and got dressed in the outfit I was wearing to the dinner Dani, Steelo and I were going to. Once I was dressed i started spraying my body with some Dior perfume.

I slipped into my heels as Dani came into the bathroom beginning to take down my curls that was pinned up. "You look so pretty" Dani squealed as I smiled. "I wish Michael would pick up his damn phone so he can see me" I expressed. "He's probably just working or knocked out you know how long filming and everything is." She assured. "Yeah but it's unlike him to actually call me for my birthday" I brought up looking back at her. "Michael I'm sure is going to call you before the night ends" she assured as I faintly smiled.

"Too bad he can't see you in this hair because you look too good" she expressed fluffing my curls

as I then smiled at how I looked in the mirror. Dani and I then walked out the bathroom of the plane as Steelo was recording me while yelling. "Yes!" He yelled making me laugh. I gave him a little pose and turn before taking my seat. Dani then poured us glasses of champagne. "A toast to my best friend and her making it to her twenty eighth birthday. I hope that this year is better than the last and that you enjoy your new love and all the new experiences God has for you" she said as I just smiled at her.

"You deserve it all" Steelo added as I smiled over at him seeing he was recording our toast. We then toasted and started drinking. I went onto my Instagram seeing the shade room tagged me in a post wishing me a happy birthday. I then realized they tagged me in another post as it was the post of Michael's birthday post he made.

"Michael B. Jordan's touching birthday tribute to his best friend Y/N Y/L/N." I read before going to comments section seeing all the birthday wishes and speculations of him and I dating. I decided to go on twitter seeing the same thing. I seen the post he posted to wish me a happy birthday all over twitter due to people retweeting it.

"One thing @MichaelB.Jordan is going to do is go all out for his best friend🖤 @Y/N.Y/L/N." Someone tweeted as I liked the tweet then seen Michael liked the tweet as well. I went to the comments section and read the very first comment.

"They need to stop playing and actually get with each other at this point🙄" someone commented with a screenshot of Michael's caption under the birthday post he made.

"I don't know bout y'all but part of me think they been married this whole time with a kid on the way type shit because ain't no way🤣" someone  responded to the person saying we needed to get together. I just smiled and went back off pressing the sleep wake button on my phone.

"Babes you making main stream headlines" I heard Dani say as I looked over at her and she showed me her phone seeing different news outlets not only wishing me happy birthday but showing what celebrities wished me a happy birthday and speculated based off of Michael and I's followers that we were secretly together. "Damn these fans be watching the fuck out of you two" Steelo said as I looked over at him and he showed us a video of Michael and his fans swore up and down it was my shadow on the floor behind him that was caught in the video. I just shook my head then laughed.

We then landed as I felt Dani place a blindfold over my eyes. "You're going to me my makeup up before we even get to the fucking restaurant" I said making her laugh. "Just walk I got you a little surprise" I heard her say. "Oooo you got me a Range Rover for when I'm out in New York" I started off as she started guiding me off the plane. "Look my pockets deep but my pockets Ain't deep like yours yet" She said as I let out a small laugh.

I then heard the noises from the plane as Dani helped me down the stairs of the plane. We made it on the ground as she had me walk about ten steps before we stopped and She turned my body. "Alright you can take it off" I heard her say as I slowly took the blindfold off trying not to mess my makeup up. I finally looked as I was facing the plane I then looked up. "What is there supposed to be Fire works or something?" I asked as I noticed Dani wasn't even near me any more. I then noticed also we wasn't even in New York.

"Are we in Atlanta?!" I asked confused before turning around and stopping in my tracks. I automatically smiled and walked up to Michael with my arms opened. He had a bouquet of flowers in his hand as he came up to me and embraced me as I felt a tear leave my eyes. "Happy Birthday" he said as he pulled away some and we shared a smile before we shared a kiss.

We pulled away as I looked up at him and he smiled down at me. "Don't cry" he said as we shared a small laugh. "You look so beautiful" he assured as I continued to smile as we pecked each other's lips one last time before hugging again.
