Michael

Y/N's mother, William, Laila, Steelo, Dani and I were watching Y/N as she walked across the stage to receive her degree. My phone was out recording as we all started screaming. "Y/N!" I screamed as we continued to make hella noise. She took a picture with the Dean walking off the stage. "Again please save your applauds til the end" the announcer said making us laugh some.

They went through everyone else as it was soon over we watched as Y/N was taking pictures with a group of people.

Y/N then started making her way towards us as Laila ran up to Y/N. They wrapped their arms around each other embracing one another. I looked over Y/N's body as she had on an all pink pants suit, a pair of heels, and her hair in some curls.

I just looked her up and down some as she smiled at Laila.

Y/N then looked over at me as I just smiled at her and she ran up to me excitedly making me chuckle. She wrapped her arms around my neck as I wrapped my arms around her body. "You came" she expressed as I just smiled, we soon pulled away and smiled at each other. "I wasn't going to miss your graduation" I assured as we just smiled at each other. "You look beautiful" I complimented.

"Thank you" she thanked as a woman came up next to Y/N.

Y/N took her hands out of mine giving the woman her full attention. "I was asking if Michael could join us on the podcast?" The woman asked. Y/N then looked back at me as I smiled "what we talking about?" I asked "this is an HBCU of course everything black" the girl joked as I chuckled "I'm down" I assured.

"Oh and the Ques are having a party tonight for the grads" she added. "Yeah I know, I don't need my best friends seeing how we get down at those" Y/N joked. "We'll be there" I assured as the girl smiled. "Oh and it's a 90's, early 2000's party so juvenile will be playing" she assured. "Aight we'll be there" I stated as she smiled and walked off.

"You sure you want to go literally everyone's been raving about you and Steelo being here" Y/N brought up. "Y/N it's cool I got this" I assured. "Congratulations baby girl " will said behind

Y/N as she quickly turned and smiled . They then hugged as I just smiled at them. "Baby I'm so proud of you" her mother said going up to them joining the hug. Steelo then joined the hug as Dani and I got into the hug with them.

Y/N then pulled away wiping her tears that was falling. We all took a few pictures before leaving out to the crowded parking lot. "Man these girls fine as fuck" we heard Steelo say as Y/N was smiling down at her degree. "You see white girls here or something?" Dani asked looking around as Y/N and I started to laugh. "Nigga why you laughing?" Dani asked me as I just sucked my teeth. "Where's kasey at anyway?" Y/N asked "back at the hotel room." I answered. "Is she going to let you go to the party tonight?" Y/N asked.

"Wait what party?" Dani asked "right?!" Steelo questioned looking over at Y/N. "We got invited to one of the Ques parties" Y/N informed. "Oooo I heard about those parties" Dani started off "I'm surprised you didn't end up pregnant"Dani added as I looked at her crazy. "Make sure you all use extra protection we out here in atlanta" We heard Y/N's mother say.

"Well I'm going back to my apartment to finish packing" Y/N said. "Wait with what car?" I questioned as she took some keys out of her purse. "Girl it's graduation day you supposed to be celebrating." My mother reminded. "I'll celebrate later, right now I got to finish packing my things and ship them off to California before UPS closes. "Not you trusting UPS with your things" Laila dissed. "You want to drive three days to California with a car full of boxes?" Y/N asked as Laila didn't say anything. "Aight, shut up then" Y/N said making me chuckle.

"Y/N really?" Her mother asked "it has to get done or I'm going to have to stay out here longer" Y/N explained. "Alright go" her mother simply said. "Okay" Y/N responded about to walk away but I stopped her "you need any help?" I asked as "yeah" Y/N said as I looked back at Steelo and Dani. "I'll see y'all later" I simply said rushing behind Y/N. "You feeding us for our labor?" Steelo asked. "It's either you coming or not"

Y/N said.

"I'll see you later ma" he said to Y/N's mother. "Laila you coming too?" Y/N questioned as Laila jogged up beside Y/N and I. We started heading to Y/N's car as she had a new Nissan Maxima. We got into the car as she started playing "Rain" by SWV she immediately turned it up loudly before pulling off. She just drove as I was on my phone bumping my head to the beat lightly hearing her singing to it some and snapping her fingers.

I finally peeked over at her out the corner of my eye as she was just driving in her own world. I just admired her, scanning over her body. Her pink suit fitted her in all the right places and looked nice against her dark chocolate smooth skin. We stopped at a light as she moved her hair over her shoulders and leaned on her door arm rest. I finally looked at her as she looked at me and smiled some. "You alright?" She asked as I nodded.

"A college graduate with a degree" I teased as she smiled and rolled her eyes playfully. "I got you something but I forgot it

Back in LA being made" I said as she straight faced me making

Me chuckle. "Thanks Michael" she sarcastically said before pulling off. We soon made it to the apartment complex and it was nice.

We all got upstairs to her apartment walking in seeing things all packed up in boxes. "I was promised food" Steelo started off as I chuckled watching Y/N take her heels off. "You got to finish the job first" she simply said placing her bag and everything on the glass coffee table walking off into a room. "What you need mama?" I asked taking off my jacket and walking in the room she was in.

"Can you and Steelo take the boxes down to the car that's already packed please?" She asked looking back at me. "Yeah I got it" I assured picking up one of the boxes as she placed some items in one of the boxes she was working on. "Steelo

Came into the room getting a box. We headed outside going to her car as Steelo started to talk. "Today I noticed Y/N looked different" Steelo said as I looked over at him and he chuckled. "Not like that, I know she's your crush" he joked. "Shut up" I said as placed the boxes in the trunk of her car.

"But Y/N's really on her grown woman shit" Steelo expressed "and it looks good on her" I admitted thinking about Y/N as Steelo just looked over at me. "You straight?" He asked as I looked over at him "yeah I'm straight" I assured as we went back into the apartment getting more boxes and soon her apartment was cleared and cleared from boxes.

"Y'all can go out to the car, I'll be down in a minute she assured taking her apartment key off her key ring where her car keys were. Laila, Steelo and Dani headed out as Y/N just looked back at me. "What's wrong?" She asked "nothing I'm trying to figure out what's going on with you" I answered as she slipped back into her heels.

"I'm honestly going to miss it here, yeah dating here sucked but I had a good experience with college" she admitted with a shrug. "Yeah but you know we all miss you being home" I brought up as she nodded. "I know" she started off looking around the apartment. "Thanks for coming again, i didn't think you would've came" she admitted looking over at me.

"I invited you too so much over the years and you didn't show up but you made sure you showed up to something very special for me and I appreciate that" she expressed as we smiled at each other.

"No problem, you know I got you" I assured as she smiled and I brought her in for a hug. We stood there for a moment just hugging each other as she laid her head on my chest. I placed my chin on top of her head continuing to stand there. "I love you so I had to make it down here for you" I admitted. "I love you too mike" she expressed before pulling away and looking up at me. "We should probably go" she softly suggested as I looked down at her. "Aight" I answered before placing my arm over her shoulders and walking out of the apartment.

We walked into the party as it was dark and everyone was dancing. "I'm surprised kasey let you come to this" I said before I smiled and waved to a group of girls. "She didn't it was an argument" Michael admitted. I then seen Dre walk up to me, Dre was just a dude I found cute and we would flirt from time to time but it was nothing serious. "congrats baby girl" he let out hugging me. "Thanks" I thanked as I stepped back "You lookin good tonight" he expressed as I smiled.

"Thanks I got to finish off strong" I answered before introducing him to Steelo, Dani and Michael.

"Y'all strolling tonight?" I asked "yeah you already know how we getting down" Dre said "so that means we strolling too?" I asked "yeah" he said as I just smiled. "Knuck if you buck and Mirror by Neyo" I said. "And yes it goes with the theme of the party" I added. "I got you" he said going away. "Y'all want anything to drink?" I asked looking at Steelo, Dani and Michael.

"Nah we good" Michael said "speak for yourself" Dani said as her and I went to go get a drink. "You saw the way Michael looked at you and that guy?" Dani questioned as I scrunched my brows pouring some Vodka into my cup hearing the Dj playing. "More money more problems" by Ma$e and Biggie.

"What?" I asked. "Nothing I might be just tripping" Dani said taking a Sip of her drink.

I started dancing with Dani as I looked to my side seeing Michael taking pictures with people.

"See I knew this was going to happen" I brought up as Dani looked in the direction I was looking at. "Yeah he's a celebrity Y/N" Dani said playfully continuing to dance. I stopped dancing and decided to break up what was going on with Michael and people crowding around him. "He came to a party not for you guys to be standing in his face the whole time" i expressed before grabbing his hand and pulling him away.

"I'm sorry" I apologized to him "You good. I knew it was eventually going to happen." He said "You sure you don't want a drink?" I asked . "Nah but a dance yeah" he said as I smiled and we started dancing with each other rapping the lyrics to the song.

We went throughout the night dancing with each other as we recorded each Other from time to time. Soon the Que's begun to do their stroll out.

"I think I'm pregnant" Dani expressed watching them as Dre stuck his tongue out in front of me flicking it. "Nah" Michael expressed as I just smiled watching Dre continue his stroll as we were watching the guys behind him. Dani touched one guy "Don't start something you can't finish" he warned as Dani's mouth dropped. "I know that's right" I said as Dani smiled.

"It's like we in a male strip club" Steelo said as Michael chuckled. "Imma get in the line" Steelo started off "They're going to jump your ass and bark" Michael joked as I nudged his arm playfully. "No But they will beat your ass" I brought up as they finally finished.

"I'll be back" I said over the music as I went with the girls getting ready for our stroll. We got in line as "Knuck if you Buck" begun to play as we begun our stroll and I was in the front leading it. People were recording as we continued chanting. The Dj was hyping us up as we continued down the line.

"REP YOUR SET BITCH!" I heard Dani yell as I tried not to laugh. I just continued to smile and We then finished the stroll as the Dj switched it to "Mirror" by Neyo. We stood there as the beat started and I led the Nasty stroll.

I ended up in front of Micheal as we locked eyes and we smiled at each other before I turned and dipped in front of him. "YOU BETTER DO THAT SHIT Y/N!" Dani shouted as we continued walking. We soon finished as "Notorious B.I.G" by biggie begun to play and everyone went back to dancing.

I finally went back up to Michael, Steelo, and Dani. "Ayo, are one of them single?" Steelo asked as I laughed. "You was out here in college showing out" Dani expressed. "All that showing out is gonna get your ass into some trouble" Michael said as I just smiled. "I've gotten this far without getting caught up" I said as he just chuckled and nodded.
