I was spraying cologne on my body as Y/N was taking me out on a date tonight. I placed a chain around my neck hearing the doorbell ring. I finished getting ready grabbing my keys, wallet and phone before heading downstairs hearing Y/N and my mother laugh. I stood on the top step seeing Y/N with blue roses in her hand immediately making me laugh.

My mother and father just laughed as Y/N recorded me laughing on top of the stairs. "She's taking you out on a date son. I'll take them if you don't want them" my father said before chuckling as I came downstairs and took roses from her as Y/N and I were trying to hold in our laugh but we looked at each other and immediately started to laugh.

"Why are you two laughing? I think it's a sweet gesture men do it with women all the time" we heard my mother say. The reason why Y/N and I were laughing so much was because she said we trading places like usher. "Now put it on me baby til I say, ooh wee" she sung as we started laughing even more.

"I'll take the roses if you don't want it" my mother said as I looked over at her. "Ma I want the roses" I assured as we all shared a laugh.

"I'm just saying those are some nice roses" my father said as I took them from Y/N and sat them on the island in the kitchen.

"You look nice babe" Y/N complimented.

I then smiled at her. "thank you" I thanked as my mother then started talking to Y/N. "You look nice baby" she complimented as Y/N's hair was in tighter curls than usual

She also wore casual khaki dress with a pair of snake print thigh high boots.

Along with that She had a diamond tennis necklace on with a pair of medium sized diamond hoops. "Thank you" Y/N thanked before we said our goodbyes and we headed out to the car. She opened the car door for me as I just looked at her.

"See you play too much" I started off as she laughed. "Get in the car" she said as I just looked at her and closed the door before walking her over to the drivers side and opening her door. "Open another door and we're going to have a problem" I simply warned as she laughed, got into the car and I closed the door after her. I got in on the passengers side placing my seatbelt on as she started the car and pulled out the drive way.

"Where we going?" I asked. "Boy" she started off as I chuckled hearing her put on "Love On Top" By Beyoncé. She got on the high way as she begun singing along to the song in her own little world as I was just on my phone recording myself as I then moved the camera on her and she continued singing not paying me any mind. I then sent it in the group chat that consisted of Steelo, Dani, Y/N and I.

Me: yo girl out here singing love songs to me

Dani: it's a clone she would never..

Steelo: ain't no fucking clone, she in 4K ultra HD😂

Me: 😂😂 she bought me roses and

I texted now recording Y/N as she was singing along to "Wildest Dreams" by Brandy still not paying me no attention I then sent it in the group chat.

Steelo: oh she in love in love

Me: yes she is and it's with me😌I did that!

Dani: what do y'all gain from taking us out the game?

Steelo: Y/N technically not out

Dani texted as I chuckled and Steelo then started a group FaceTiming me as another song started coming on. Y/N simply ended the call on her phone that interrupted her music continuing to focus on the road.

As I bounce to the next dick, boy" I heard Y/N sing along to the song as I looked at her crazy making Steelo and Dani laugh.

"You embarrassing my boy after he was hyping you up in the group chat" Steelo said as him and Dani were laughing. "Michael turn the song back on it's not that serious" she said as I just pressed play.

"Lost all privileges" I started off "you'll never get to treat me like a piece of shit again" I said making her, Steelo and Dani laugh. "So dramatic" Dani expressed. I pressed the skip button to the next song as "Resentment" started playing. "Resentment? That can't be good" I said making them laugh again as I skipped to the next song once again. "Good some Adele." I said.

"Bro turn the camera so I can see Y/N" Steelo said as I did as told. "Why you sitting so damn close to the wheel?" He asked as I looked at her and immediately started laughing. "Goddamn could the seat go any further" he said as I continued to laugh. "Y'all know I'm only 5'1 shut the hell up" she said making me chuckle. "And where your glasses at?" I asked. "Ah shit, y'all might not make it to the date" Steelo said. "Stop playing you two know she can drive" Dani joined in.

"Mike you got her singing rolling in the deep? That's just as bad" Steelo said making Dani and Y/N laugh. "She talking about throwing his soul through open doors and shit and you just sitting there ." Steelo added. "I thought she said throw your skull through every open door" Y/N brought up as I just looked over at her. "Y/N No, you're so fucking violent like damn" Steelo expressed making us all laugh.

"No I thought the same thing" Dani admitted "right and I will continue to say "throw your skull"" Y/N admitted as I chuckled. "Bruh you know what we should do?" Steelo started off. "What?" I asked. "Go on ridiculousness" he suggested as I nodded. "Fucking around with us, we might have videos I wouldn't be surprised if it showed up on there or not" Dani said as Y/N agreed. "Nah that might actually be a good idea last time I went on it was straight" I said as sterling rubbed his hands together. "I might have to make that call" Steelo said as we pulled up in front of a restaurant.

"Y'all need to get off the phone because he is on a date" Y/N said poking her head in the camera as I just smiled. "We tried calling you but you like to ignore your phone" Steelo stated before sticking his tongue out. "You so childish" Y/N said playfully rolling her eyes. "Aight imma let y'all go. Don't get knocked up and be like me and Dani" Steelo warned causing us to laugh. "Sterling shut the hell up" Dani expressed as we said our goodbyes in between our laughs.

I hung up as Y/N was about to get out of the car but I popped her hands before I got out and she looked at me crazy. I opened her door as she just straight faced me and got out the car. I walked close behind her as reporters started taking pictures of us. I continued walking as a reporter took a picture of me catching me off guard per usual.

I opened the door for Y/N as she thanked me and we walked into the establishment.

We finally got seated as we looked over the menu. "Steelo and Dani are so cute" Y/N started off. "Even when they're  borderline about to kill each other" I added making her laugh.

"You do know Steelo and Dani didn't just start dating right?" She asked as I looked up from my menu at her.

"What?" I questioned "yeah they didn't just have a baby out of the blue" Y/N stated then laughed some. "Wait" I started off. "He would've told me" I added. "They been together since the beginning of my junior year in college" She informed as I looked at her crazy. "Stop playing" I said shaking my head. "They been together for almost four years" She informed as I chuckled. "That's why he's talking about a ring" I brought up as Y/N smiled big.

"Really?" She asked excitedly. "Yeah and we will not interfere with it unless he asks us too so don't come up with any ideas just relax and watch" I explained as she frowned. "But she's my best friend and so is he, I can give him an idea to make it more romantic" She explained as I shook my head.

"At least tell me when he's doing it so I can make sure her nails are done. That's all I ask" She expressed. "Okay but that's it. unless he asks for our help" I said as she nodded.

"But like-" she started off. "No" I simply said as she just sat back in her seat as I chuckled. "I can't do the gender reveal now I can't help with the engagement" she said with a frown.

"Just relax you just got done with hosting Christmas take a breather. There's always the baby shower" I assured as she just sighed and I chuckled.

"We got Paris planned for Valentine's Day, look forward to that then it's Beyoncé's Coachella" I brought up. "Then we got Jamaica and our anniversary" I added as she playfully rolled her eyes then smiled. "Yeah focus on that and if they need or want help then we step in" I started off "stop stepping in and taking on things you don't have too" I said as She frowned.

"But that's going to be my God child" she brought up. "Mine too but you can only do but so much Y/N that's how you over exert yourself. You don't always have to be Wonder Woman" I assured with a small smile.

"Black women deserve to rest and sometimes it's okay not to be the one to come up with a solution to every problem" I said as She smiled and looked down at her menu. "So we're going to see Into the Spider Verse after dinner" she started off as I just looked from my menu and smirked. "How you know?" I asked as she laughed. "Mike we been cool for how long? I know you, plus I want to see it too" she said before looking back down at her menu as I just smiled and watched her talk about how she was indecisive about what she wanted to eat.
