Our flight landed around six thirty in the morning and Y/N and I went straight to bed when we got to the hotel. I was sleep as I felt slow kisses all over my face. "Wake up baby" I heard Y/N say softly in my ear as she continued to kiss me. I just smiled some to myself before opening my eyes.

"Happy Birthday" She said as I shook my head laying my head back on the pillow. "Stop playing you know my birthday just past" I simply said closing my eyes back. "Michael" she said as I was going to ignore her but I didn't feel safe going to sleep while she had an attitude. "What?" I asked with my eyes still closed.

"I'm trying to do something for you and You're really not going with how it's planned in my head" she said as I just sighed. "Babe Because you're playing around while I'm tired." I said snuggling my face back into my pillow. "I got jet lag, I'm tired" I simply said. "It's one in the afternoon and you can go back to bed just come look" She expressed with a little excitement in her voice. "Y/N later" I said as she didn't say anything I just heard heels walk out the room.

I then went back to sleep and woke up on my own around three almost four. I looked to my side not seeing Y/N. I then sat up reaching for my phone. "Bae!" I shouted out receiving no answer. I then looked at my phone not seeing any text messages or calls from Y/N. I got out of the bed beginning to go downstairs of the hotel suite we had to look to see if she was here. I walking into the living room as it was decorated with balloons everywhere on the ceiling and floor. I then seen "happy B-Day" balloons hanging on the counter. Along with the balloon there were shopping bags on the floor and couch and different sneakers on their boxes neatly on the coffee table.

I just looked at it before taking a picture of it. I walked into the kitchen and on the counter sat roses in a box in a form of the letter "M" with a card next to it.

I just smiled and picked up the card seeing a check for $500 fall out beginning to read the card.

"I know we went out to dinner for your birthday because you didn't want to do too much but It's never too much when it comes to you. Happy Birthday Honeybun! Love you !!"-Munchie.

I read as she signed it with a heart at the end. I then seen she wrote something extra.

"P.S: The $500 should last you a few hair cuts"

She added as I immediately felt bad for how I reacted earlier she was so excited to surprise me with this and I just pushed her away. I know she's had to be up since we landed to where she got all of this together. "Shit" I said to myself beginning to call her as it dialed but she didn't answer. I tried calling again and this time she answered.

"Hello" she answered "hey where are you?" I asked "Dani and I are out walking around near the hotel why?" She asked. "I wanted to say thank you and wanted to know if you were okay" I said. "Yeah I'm fine" She simply said "let me go I'll be back in a little while get some sleep" she added. "Okay" I agreed as she just hung up. I knew from her responses that although she said she was okay, she wasn't okay.

I started getting ready for the rest of the day. I knew we were going out to dinner later so I was getting dressed for that. Around six I heard the door close downstairs while I was placing on my earrings. I hurried and placed them on before rushing downstairs as she was about to head up the stairs but she stopped when I placed my arms around her. She wrapped an arm around me giving a slight hug before pulling away . "You smell good" She admitted before walking around me to go upstairs. I followed after her as she walked into the room and placed Lola on the floor.

"Did you get your sleep?" She asked. "I'm sorry baby" I apologized as she smiled some. "It's fine, I'm going to go get ready for dinner." She said before going into the bathroom and closing the door. About an hour and a half later she finally came out of the bathroom with her make up and hair done.

Her hair was straightened in a middle part pulled back into a low ponytail as she had a pair of hoops in her ears.

She removed her robe beginning to get dressed. "Babe I'm sorry" I apologized again. "I heard you the first time." She responded. "You were tired so" she added shrugging her shoulders some as she just jumped into her jeans looking away. She continued to get dressed as I just sat on the bed and watched her and something was off. "Babe come here" I said as she just placed a pair of diamond earrings in her second and third hole before looking back at me. "Come on mike they're waiting" She said spraying perfume on her pulse points.

She placed some more lip gloss on her lips then grabbed her purse dressed.

"Babe" I started off as she just looked back at me a little irritated. "Yes?" She asked. "Is something bothering you? Because you're acting like something is bothering you" I asked concerned. "No. I'm fine, can we go?" She asked as I just looked at her and she looked away from me. "What do you want me to say Michael? Nothing is wrong" she assured. "Alright then fix your attitude" I simply said as she just walked out the room like I didn't say anything.

Knowing Y/N, she usually says something smart immediately after if I say something smart to her but this time she just walked out. I walked out behind her as we headed downstairs to the lobby meeting up with Steelo and Dani before going to the restaurant which was like a two minute walk so we walked. Steelo was holding Dani's hand as Y/N just walked beside me on her phone.

I slipped my hand into hers and held it as she held mine back but didn't look away from her phone. We spotted a reporter as one took a picture of us and I immediately walked in front of Y/N continuing to hold her hand as she held her head down. I held the door open for us as we walked into the restaurant. Steelo started talking to the hostess about the reservation made soon the hostess walked us to our table and we got seated.

Y/N immediately opened her menu "you're quiet that's not normal" Steelo joked. "Neither are you" she shot back "Damn what I do?" He asked holding his hands up some. "Because I'm minding my business and you starting shit" She simply said as he looked at me and I just shook my head. I then soon felt my phone vibrate. I looked down at it seeing a text from Steelo.

Steelo:

bruh what you do?

Me: I asked if she was straight before we left

she said she was straight so I'm leaving it alone.

Steelo:

but what did you do is what I'm asking

Me: something about earlier. I asked was she straight

she said yeah so I'm leaving her alone

Steelo:

Nigga tomorrow Valentine's Day you better apologize or something.

Me: I apologized twice I'm not doing that shit again

Steelo:

bro on the first day out here goddamn you was sleep most of the fucking day😂

Me: EXACTLY😂

I texted back placing my phone back in my pocket as Y/N started talking to Dani about whatever. Throughout dinner

Y/N eventually came around engaging with everyone. Before heading out after dinner we all left a tip then went back to the hotel going our separate ways to our rooms.

I walked behind Y/N as we walked into the room and I closed the door behind us. "I'm going to ask you again" I started off as she turned to look at me. "Michael there's nothing wrong. you were tired from traveling and I should've just let you sleep." She started off " I was excited to see your reaction,  I kept asking instead of respecting your sleep and I'm sorry" she apologized heading towards the stairs of our suite to go to our room. "I hope you liked your gifts" she said looking back at me with a small smile. She then went upstairs as I still felt bad.

I finally decided to go upstairs as her hair was now out of it low ponytail, she was shirtless and her heels were off. "Munchie come here" I said as she just looked at me from across the bed in which she was standing at while taking off her hoops. She soon gave in and walked over to me before I hugged her. "We said we weren't going to go to sleep mad at each other, ever. right?" I asked looking down at her as she nodded. "I'm sorry I should've just left you alone. I was excited because I thought it was something different and I wanted you to feel special the same way you make me feel special" she explained as I faintly smiled.

"Y/N don't apologize and don't cry" I said wiping her falling tear. "I should've gotten up because I seen how excited you were. That was my bad and I'm sorry" I apologized. "I feel special everyday that I'm with you. This trip alone is special because I'm traveling with you." I truthfully said as a small smile appeared on her face. "I've been so caught up in the way I made you feel earlier I didn't even open the gifts. " I added.

"You didn't?" She asked as I shook my head. "I thank you for those gifts but I don't care about that, I just wanted to make sure my girl was okay because no gift is greater than you and your happiness" I admitted making her smile. "Michael"she started off looking down before she looked up at me. "I'm serious Y/N. I love you" I said In all seriousness as I looked in her eyes. "I love you too baby" she said with a faint smile before we shared a hug and this time she gave me an embracing hug.

She pulled away some with her arms still wrapped around my neck as we smiled at each other then I placed my lips on hers.
