The reception was over as people were about to head out including Y/N and I. I was holding Y/N's hand as we were about to walk out and change into a different set of clothes for the party her mother was having but her mother started talking. "Before everyone goes I would like to thank you all for coming and sharing this special day for me and my husband" She started off. "Um not only is it my special day but Today is a special day for Y/N and Michael. It's their one year anniversary" She said as everyone looked at us and begun to clap loudly.

"You two have been a big help Just like everyone else who made this day happen and I appreciate you two for trying to make this day about me and William but i think you two deserve some type of celebration and recognition" She explained as Y/N and I smiled. "So would you two please step onto the dance floor?" She asked as Dani took Y/N's heels and phone from her free hand while Dani recorded us.

The beginning of "My First Love" by Avant and Keke Wyatt begun to play as we heard Dani scream and others get loud You know how black folks get. "Dani sit down we don't need your water breaking right now" He mother joked on the mic as we all shared a laugh. I wrapped Y/N's arms around my neck as we shared a smile and I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"They're so extra" Y/N said as we shared a small laugh. "My momma over there grinning like hell" I said making her laugh and look back at my mother. "They all grinning" Y/N said looking around at everyone as we continued to sway. "Give me a twirl before you take off that dress" I said as she just smiled and I twirled her around as she wrapped her arms back around my neck and I brought her closer.

Y/N rubbed her thumb on the side of my cheek as we just smiled at each other. She started singing along to the lyrics as I smiled "Long as I live , You will be My first love" She sung as I leaned down and pecked her lips as she I placed my forehead on hers. "Happy anniversary" I said making her smile. "Happy anniversary baby" she responded as I kissed her cheek then pulled away. "I love you so much" I truthfully and whole heartedly said. "I love you too Michael" She expressed as she smiled and kissed my lips.

She then laid her head on my chest as we continued to sway back and forth to the beat. I looked over at Steelo and Dani watching as she had her phone up. "YES MICHAEL!" She shouted making me and Y/N share a small laugh. The dance was soon over as we headed back to our vacation home and all freshened up.

I got dressed in a button down shirt with a pair of blue slacks

Y/N was currently in the bathroom touching up her hair while I was placing on some cologne. She walked out the bathroom dressed with a pair of flip flops in her hand.

She just placed lip gloss on her lips and sprayed herself with some perfume. "You ready?" She asked looking over at me. "Yeah" I answered grabbing my phone. We walked out the house going on the beach to where they were having the party at. We heard music from a distance and got closer to the set up

seeing everyone already here dancing. We sat our things down at the table where Steelo and Dani had their things at and went to go dance with everyone else. I grabbed her hand as she turned beginning to dance on me slowly to the beat of "Rock The Boat". I held her waist bringing her closer as she slowly whined to the beat and snapped her fingers.

She placed her hands on her knees slowly moving her butt in a circle on me as I smiled down at her enjoying herself. "Aight now" Steelo said interrupting us as Dani laughed continuing hype Y/N up while recording her. "Yes ma'am!" Dani said as Y/N stopped and we shared a laugh. "We're going to get you two some drinks" Dani said as Y/N and I looked at them walk away. "What They up too?" Y/N asked. "I don't know" I admitted looking down at her.

"They probably just trying to get us drunk or something" I simply said grabbing Y/N's hand as we continued to dance.

Dani and Steelo soon came back with our drinks as we continued to dance and drink. Once our drinks were finished Dani spoke up. "You two will end off the night on a good note" She simply said as Y/N and I looked at each other then at her. "What you two do?" Y/N asked. "Nothing we were just saying you two will end your first anniversary on a good note" Steelo said as I looked at Dani and she looked away.

"What did you two do?" I asked again. "You just drunk royal honey and she had a pink pussycat honey" Dani truthfully said. "So you laced us?" Y/N asked "ain't that why I'm pregnant now?" She questioned as Y/N and I just looked away. "Yeah" Steelo started off. "Happy anniversary Nigga" he said before him and Dani went off to go dance. "We should have like thirty minutes right?" Y/N asked. "Nah I think we'll be good. we've had sex the past two days in a row I Don't think it'll hit us and we'll actually feel it" I explained.

"I don't think that's how it work but okay" she said then did a little laugh before walking away going to dance with her sister as " Pon de Replay" by Rihanna begun to play. "These niggas about to break into a whole dance routine." Steelo said as I chuckled pulling my phone out as they broke into a dance routine making me and Steelo hype them up. Everyone eventually crowded around recording them and dancing.

"SOUL TRAIN!" Will yelled out loud as everyone formed the line as Y/N and I were across from each other. "Mike you got your sunglasses?" She asked as I nodded "yeah, why?" I asked as "My Prerogative" by Bobby Brown started playing. "We doing Bobby and Whitney dance when we come up" she said over the music as everyone was watching Will and her mother come down the line.

We were like the fourth people in line watching the people ahead of us go down the line.  It was soon our turn as we both placed on our sun glasses beginning to do the dance Bobby and Whitney did while in the store shopping for sunglasses on their TV show back in the day. The line started hyping our dance up as Y/N and I soon shared a laugh. We started dancing on our way down the line and soon finished laughing.

I grabbed Y/N's waist bringing her in as I placed my arm over her shoulders and kissed her head. "Hey baby girl" we heard as we looked over and seen her father walking up, her smile immediately faded. "Hi" she dryly said "hey Michael" he greeted. "Hey" I simply said. The thing was he was at the ceremony, the reception and didn't say anything until now.

"You want a drink?" I asked Y/N as she immediately agreed and we walked off. "What you want to do?" I asked. "We're staying because at the end of the day this day is about my mother and Will" Y/N simply said. "He wants a reaction and he's not getting it from me" she added before drinking on her alcoholic slushy she ordered. Y/N then went with her mother and sister as Steelo came over to me.

"What did he say to you two?" Steelo asked referring to Y/N's father. "He just said hi" I simply said then shook my head. "She don't deserve that" I admitted. "She don't" he agreed as I just watched her continue to dance with her mother and Laila.

About twenty minutes in I still didn't feel anything. Steelo,

Y/N, Dani and I were at a table just drinking and joking around. "keep on laughing and that waters going to break"

Y/N joked as I chuckled hearing "Love On The Brain" begin to play. I watched as Y/N's whole demeanor changed. Her smile fell and she just look like she grew uncomfortable. Steelo continued to talk as I just looked at Y/N. "You straight?" I asked lowly looking over at her. "Yeah im just going to see if they can change the song right quick" she said about to get up.

"What? you don't like Love on the Brain? This is a whole bop" Dani expressed as Y/N just shook her head. "I don't really care for it" she said as I looked at her and she looked uneasy. "It was about her and Chris brown-" Steelo started off. "Yeah and her being abused" Y/N added before Steelo could finish. "Y/N it's just a song. Everyone is dancing to it don't pay it no mind" Dani assured as Y/N simply nodded her head giving a fake smile.

We continued our conversation we were having prior to this one as Y/N was now quiet and I could tell she was in her head. About ten minutes later She eventually left from the table and walked off. "That stuff must be hitting her" Dani joked as Steelo chuckled and I chuckled some. "Let me go check on her" I said before removing myself from the table. I was walking on the beach away from the party as I noticed Y/N was sitting in the sand looking at the water. "You alright?" I asked as she looked back at me then looked back at the water and I took a seat next to her. "Yeah I'm okay" she started off. "Just in my head" she added faintly smiling.

"You ready to turn in for the night?" I asked kissing her arm some as she smiled. "You must be ready to take this dress off of me" She said as I smiled against her skin making her smile. "Yeah" she stated as I chuckled causing her to giggle and shake her head. "We made it to a whole year" I expressed with a big smile. "Yeah and we got many more to come" she assured as we looked at each other then smiled. We then shared a kiss as we wrapped our arms around each other and I kissed her head.

"I love you so much!" Y/N expressed "I love you too munchie" I assured hearing her giggle some.
