From then on, it was difficult to separate Aditya and Meenakshi. Every time their eyes met, both of them would flush into a marvelous shade of red, smiles of bliss filling their eyes as they recalled the moments they spent together. They were insatiable when it came to each other, making it immensely hard to control themselves outside. Aditya had taken this a step higher, where he would kiss her senselessly in the corridors or even in the pathways making both of them look worked up by the time they reached their places of duty. Meenakshi would try hard not to give in, but one touch from him, she would already be a puddle of mess, wanting him.
Meenakshi smiled thinking of the morning they had. The pleasure they felt was intangible, something both of them craved. They had been late to the court yet again, but both of them had justified saying that new couples need such time after all. She knew that her father-in-law was teasing Aditya or Vikram, his new name from her, constantly, ever since he found a hickey on his neck one day. She had changed into a simple skirt and a blouse, a common drape the women of Krishnapura wore. She had ditched the dupatta, as she knew that it wouldn't last a moment longer on her if Vikram saw her. She sat by the window, looking at the sky, with the stars twinkling in the dim moonlight from the crescent moon. She heard Vikram's footsteps coming in and goosebumps rose on her skin. She pulled her legs close, holding her knees and hugging them to her chest, clenching her thighs together.
"I see you are ready." Vikram spoke as he entered the chambers, pulling away his dupatta. His fingers adeptly worked on the buttons of his kurta, and in a swift moment it was on the floor. His upper body was bare except for the string of pearls he had been wearing. As he began to unclasp it, Meenakshi stopped him.
"Let it be." She said, walking closer to him, swaying her hips subtly. Vikram's eyes fell on her navel, his eyes tracing the faint contours of her belly button and the curve of her hips. His eyes fell on the faint paint marks on her hips, a red hue from the rose he had given her. His eyes lowered further as she reached him and placed her palms on his shoulders making him jerk up to look at her. He could see the smirk she was hiding, and raised his brows in question at her expression. In a swift motion, he lifted her up and threw her gently on the bed making her gasp. She tried to sit up and pushed herself back to lean against the headboard but Vikram was too fat for her. He pulled her by her feet, making her slide to the end.
"This is what you get for teasing me." Before she could respond, Vikram placed a hot, wet kiss on her right feet, making her curl her toes in pleasure. He proceeded to move upwards, disappearing into her skirt, as he assaulted her skin, making her clench her thighs together in pleasure. Meenakshi grabbed onto the bed covers trying her best not to make any noise and contain herself.
"Vikram." She breathed out heavily, her voice shuddering at every octave. He only moaned in response, the sound sending vibrations to every part of her body. Vikram's beard pressed on her skin, as he placed wet kisses along her core. She was bare to him and he could clearly see how much she wanted him. Vikram pulled the skirt above his head, as a thin layer of sweat coated his face, and hunched it at her hips.
"Do you want this?" He asked, his fingers running along her core, edging her every time.
"Yes." She breathed out, partially frustrated and heavily aroused. He slipped two fingers in her making her arch her back, pumping it in and out until she cried out his name and came on his fingers. Vikram brought his fingers and sucked on them, making Meenakshi shy away. He chuckled and hovered himself above her. She slowly turned back and faced him. Aditya smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Are you okay?" He asked, caressing her cheeks.
"I am. Are you?" She asked him back, making Aditya smile.
"I am." He smiled back. He laid beside her making Meenakshi frown.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Nothing. Why?" He asked, as he laid on his side, facing her.
"Nothing." She muttered, playing with her necklace, as she turned around like him and faced him. Aditya laughed softly and pulled her close by her waist making her fall on him. Meenakshi looked at him questioningly and pouted.
"I just want to hold you close." He said, pulling on the strings of her blouse. Her blouse fell forward, uncovering her soft mound with erect peaks. She helped him pull it away from her body and soon it found its place beside his kurta. Meenakshi was almost laying on top of him, her chest brushing his, making both of them flush.
"Fine. I wanted to talk though." She spoke, twirling her fingers on the hair on his chest.
"Go on." His fingers had begun caressing her head, running down occasionally through her lengths.
"You are required to go on a tour right? For about a year, visiting the neighboring kingdoms and learning about the places so that you can come back and rule better?" She asked.
"Yes, I am trying to stall it as much as possible. What about that?" He said.
"I have been thinking. I wish to go on that tour. I wish to go instead of you." She said.
"Why?" Aditya mirthlessly chuckled.
"No particular why. It's just that I feel like I can use this as a chance to discover myself too. And luckily I am also capable of such travels and rides. I am sure I can be back sooner than a year too." She excitedly spoke.
"No. It's better if I am on that tour. And a king is expected to do that, not a queen."
"Still, we have already crossed that line between being a king or a queen. Both of us are just rulers. Then I can also go on this expedition instead of you."
"No. No. That's all." His voice was angrier now.
"But why?"
"It's jus thatâ. Do you want to argue now? I am going and that's final." He spoke, pulling the comforters over them.
"No Aditya. I am going and it's final." She took his palm and placed it on her palm sealing the promise.
"Iâ. Youâ. Do whatever you wish." Aditya got out of the bed and walked away.
"Aditya." She called him but he was long gone.
