Chapter 30: 26| Abyss Of Love

Amay ~ Her Twist of Fate [Book #1 in Her Series] ✓Words: 16455

AUTHOR'S POV

Love, in its purest form, is like an abyss—profound, unfathomable, and endlessly deep.

It is a force that transcends the boundaries of time, logic, and reason, pulling two souls into an infinite connection.

Unlike the physical abyss that might evoke fear, the abyss of love is one of comfort, where each passing moment strengthens the bond between two hearts.

The depth of love is often immeasurable, like the depths of the ocean.

It starts at the surface with attraction and grows as trust, understanding, and shared experiences accumulate.

True love dives deeper with time, reaching places within our hearts and souls that we didn't even know existed.

It becomes a haven of vulnerability and strength, where imperfections are embraced, and silence speaks volumes.

Love's depth is revealed in the way it makes us feel seen, understood, and valued.

It's not merely about grand gestures but also about the quiet moments—the way one listens, remembers, or stays.

In this depth, love becomes a mirror that reflects not just the other person but also the best and most honest version of ourselves.

Love is a thread that connects two individuals, binding them in ways that are both tangible and intangible.

This connection evolves over time, shifting from the thrill of infatuation to a steady, enduring bond.

It is built on shared dreams, mutual respect, and a willingness to navigate life's ups and downs together.

True connection goes beyond the physical; it resides in the heart and the mind.

It's found in the way two people can communicate without words, the way their presence alone can provide solace, and the way they instinctively understand each other's needs.

This connection, when nurtured, becomes a lifeline, anchoring both individuals even in the face of life's tempests.

As time passes, love does not remain stagnant; it seeps deeper, embedding itself into the very fabric of one's being.

It becomes a rhythm that beats alongside the heart, an unspoken promise that grows stronger with each shared moment.

The longer two people journey together, the more profound their love becomes, enriched by shared memories, laughter, and even challenges.

This kind of love defies the cliché that time weakens bonds.

Instead, it thrives on time, growing richer like fine wine.

The petty annoyances and misunderstandings that once seemed significant fade into insignificance as love deepens.

What remains is an abiding sense of partnership, a love that feels both eternal and evolving.

The abyss of love is both a gift and a choice.

It's a gift because it offers an unparalleled connection, the feeling of being truly known and cherished.

It's a choice because love requires effort, patience, and perseverance.

The journey into love's abyss isn't always easy; it demands courage to face its depths and grace to embrace its imperfections.

But for those willing to take the plunge, the abyss of love offers a beauty like no other—a love that grows stronger and deeper with time, binding two souls in an eternal dance of connection and devotion.

In the end, love's abyss isn't something to fear but something to cherish.

It's a testament to the profound ways in which we can connect, transform, and find meaning in one another.

It reminds us that while the surface may be beautiful, the true treasures of love lie in its depths.

Bhadresh Rao sat in his leather chair, the smoke from his cigarette curling into the dimly lit room.

His eyes glinted with dark amusement as Tina stood before him, her frame rigid, her resolve firm.

A smirk played on his lips as he broke the silence. "Toh kya socha tumne?"

(So, what have you decided, daughter?)

Tina met his gaze unflinchingly, her voice steady, devoid of fear. "I refuse to do it."

Bhadresh chuckled, a low, menacing sound.

He leaned back, puffing his cigarette lazily, as though her defiance was nothing more than an amusing game. "C'mon, daughter, give it a try. Kyun apne liye mushkile khadi kar rahi ho?"

(Why are you creating trouble for yourself?)

Her jaw tightened, but she didn't waver. "Main nahi karungi. Aur aap jo chahe, woh kar sakte hain."

(I won't do it. You can do whatever you want.)

The amusement in Bhadresh's eyes faded.

He crushed the cigarette under his polished shoe with deliberate force, his voice now sharp and venomous. "Yeh dekh rahi ho? Issi tarah tumhe masal ke rakh dunga apne pairo ke neeche. Soch samajh ke jawab do."

(See this? I'll crush you under my feet just like this. Think carefully before you answer.)

Tina's heart pounded, but her resolve remained unshaken. "Soch ke hi jawab diya hai. Main aapka kaam nahi karungi. Main Ayush ki mehnat aur uski reputation ko kuch nahi hone dungi."

(I've thought it through. I won't do your work. I won't let Ayush's hard work and reputation be harmed.)

Bhadresh threw his head back and laughed, the sound echoing ominously in the room.

His dark chuckle morphed into a maniacal laugh as he leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with twisted delight, "Uff, yeh pyaar! Na jaane insaan se kya-kya karwaye. You know, Tina, I thought you were smart. Lekin kambhakt ishq ne tumhe bhi nikamma bana diya."

(Ah, love! It makes people do the most foolish things. You know, Tina, I thought you were smart. But cursed love has made you useless too.)

Tina's voice was laced with fierce determination, her eyes burning with emotion. "Yeh sirf pyaar nahi hai, junoon hai mera. Aaj tak aapki har baat maanti aayi yeh soch ke ki kisi din aap mujhe acknowledge karenge, ki iss bade se ghar mein aap akele nahi rehte, aapki beti bhi rehti hai. Lekin ab bahut hua. Main Ayush se pyaar karti hoon, aur uske liye jo karna pade, karungi."

(This isn't just love; it's my passion. All my life, I followed your every order, hoping one day you'd acknowledge me, that I live in this grand house too. But enough is enough. I love Ayush, and I'll do whatever it takes for him.)

Bhadresh's gaze darkened.

He leaned forward, his tone low but dangerous. "This might cost you your life. You know that, right? Don't worry; mujhe tumhe maarne mein zara bhi afsos nahi hoga."

(I won't feel the slightest regret killing you.)

Tears welled in Tina's eyes, but she refused to let them fall.

She stood her ground, her voice unwavering. "Jaanti hoon, Dad, ki aap mujhe maarne mein zyada der nahi karenge. Iss liye toh khud aayi hoon aapke paas. Chaliye, kill me. I'm waiting."

(I know, Dad, that you won't hesitate to kill me. That's why I've come to you myself. Go ahead, kill me. I'm waiting.)

For a moment, Bhadresh was taken aback.

This wasn't the bratty, spoiled daughter he thought he knew.

This was a fierce, defiant woman.

His surprise quickly morphed into amusement, "Itni aasani se nahi marunga. Ek faisla tumne liya, aur ab ek faisla main le raha hoon".

(I won't kill you so easily. You made a decision, now I'm making one.)

He leaned back, his voice dripping with malice. "Main Ayush ko toh barbaad karke rahunga. Aur highlight yeh hoga ki woh yeh samjhega ki uski barbaadi ke peeche tum ho."

(I'll destroy Ayush. And the highlight will be that he'll think you're behind his ruin.)

Tina's blood ran cold.

She shook her head, her voice trembling but resolute. "Please, Dad, don't do this. Aapko mere saath jo karna hai, kariye, par please yeh mat kariye."

(Please, Dad, don't do this. Do whatever you want to me, but please don't do this.)

Bhadresh laughed, his deep, menacing chuckle echoing in the room, "Tumhari yeh bechaari shakal dekh ke maza aa raha hai. Helpless lagti ho toh aur bhi acchi lagti ho."

(Seeing your helpless face is delightful. You look even better when you're helpless.)

Tina's fists clenched at her sides, tears threatening to spill.

But she vowed to fight back, no matter the cost.

Ayush's trust, their bond, and her love for him were worth every battle, even against her own blood.

The Shekhawat mansion was buzzing with the Sunday vibe, warm and lively.

Everyone had gathered for the much-loved Sunday brunch, and the addition of Suman's family added a cheerful layer to the atmosphere.

Tara had made sure to personally invite Shobha, Satyajeet, and Abhijeet, knowing how much Suman enjoyed their company—though, of course, Amay was particularly interested in Suman.

Suman, with her usual chirpy charm, had managed to secure a seat between Shobha and Tara, deliberately ignoring the pleading gaze from Amay.

He sat directly across from her with a pout that could rival a toddler's, making Digvijay chuckle quietly.

Amay shot him a glare, but Digvijay seemed entirely unbothered, even amused by the younger Shekhawat's sulking.

Brunch was a lively affair filled with laughter, light banter, and delicious food, but Suman couldn't ignore the odd energy from her brother, Abhijeet.

He seemed unusually quiet, his usual playful demeanor replaced by a distracted air.

After the meal, everyone moved to the lush garden for some fresh air and relaxation.

Suman, ever the observant sister, kept a close watch on Abhijeet.

Finally, she couldn't take it anymore and stood up, walking over to where he sat on the swing, looking lost.

"Bhai, are you okay?" she asked gently, her voice filled with concern.

Abhijeet looked up at her with a faint smile, trying to mask his worry. "Of course! What could possibly happen to me? In fact, I've been fitter and happier since you left and married into this house."

Suman rolled her eyes and lightly punched his arm. "Bhai, seriously. Kuch hua hai kya? Tell me."

("Brother, seriously. Has something happened? Tell me.")

Abhijeet hesitated, his smile faltering. "Tere paas Namita ka phone aaya kya?"

("Did you get a call from Namita?")

Suman frowned, confused. "Nahi... meri kaafi dino se usse baat nahi hui hai. I'm getting worried now. Pata nahi kaha hai?"

("No... I haven't talked to her in many days. I'm getting worried now. Don't know where she is?")

Abhijeet's expression grew darker, his restlessness now evident. "Mujhe laga tha tum dono ki baat hui hogi. She's your best friend after all."

("I thought you two would have talked. She's your best friend, after all.")

Suman felt a pang of anxiety seeing her usually composed brother like this. "Sab theek hai na, Bhai?"

("Is everything okay, Brother?")

Abhijeet sighed deeply, his worry finally spilling over. "Tujhe pata hai na ki Namita ke parents ne yeh city chhod di hai?"

("You know that Namita's parents have left this city, right?")

Suman's eyes widened in shock. "What? They left the city? Kab? Kaise? Aur kyun?"

("What? They left the city? When? How? And why?")

Her mind raced with questions, but she had no answers.

"I was passing by her house the other day," Abhijeet explained. "I saw them loading up their belongings. I stopped and asked what was going on. At first, they pretended not to recognize me, but later they admitted they were leaving. They didn't say much, but I have a strong feeling something's wrong."

Suman nodded slowly, her worry deepening. "This doesn't make sense, Bhai. Namita would've told me... or you."

Abhijeet placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Suman. Main pata lagata hoon. I'll find out what's going on and update you, okay?"

("Don't worry, Suman. I'll find out what's going on and update you, okay?")

Suman nodded, though her mind was far from at ease.

The mere thought of something being wrong with Namita filled her with dread.

Abhijeet, sensing her distress, nudged her lightly. "Hey, stop worrying so much. Main hoon na?"

("Hey, stop worrying so much. I'm here, right?")

Suman forced a small smile. "Thanks, Bhai."

They spent the rest of the afternoon chatting, but the thought of Namita's sudden disappearance lingered in the back of their minds, casting a shadow over the otherwise bright day.

The night was calm, the house quiet except for the soft sounds of the wind outside.

Suman had just bid her goodnight to her family, and as Amay left for his conference call, Digvijay had stayed back at Tara's insistence.

She made her way to her room, her steps light, her mind wandering as she opened the door and closed it softly behind her.

Before she could even take a full breath, her back was pressed against the door, and her body jolted in surprise.

She gasped in fear, but when she turned her head, she saw Amay standing there, his strong arms caging her in, his eyes filled with intensity.

"What are you doing?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly, though her curiosity was piqued.

Amay's lips curved into a half-smile, and he leaned closer, his voice husky as he spoke. "Looking at my wife, who hasn't given me any attention throughout the day."

Suman chuckled, the sound light and teasing. "Awww, my husband is craving my attention," she said, reaching up to pull his cheek in a playful manner.

Amay grinned at her, but the playfulness in his eyes vanished in an instant.

He grabbed her waist, pulling her towards him, and she gasped in surprise.

The sudden shift in his demeanor made her heart race.

His gaze darkened as he studied her with an intensity that sent shivers down her spine.

She could feel the heat of his body radiating against hers, and for a moment, it felt like the world had faded away.

"Well, now I can't help but wonder," he whispered, his voice low and full of desire, "kya hua, darr lag raha hai?"

("What's wrong, are you scared?")

Suman's breath hitched, and her lips parted to respond, but only a soft, barely audible "No..." slipped out.

Yet, her body betrayed her as she gave him a small nod, acknowledging her own uncertainty.

Amay smiled, the edge of mischief still present in his eyes. "Be clear, sweetheart," he murmured, his voice growing deeper. "I might end up doing something very sinful to you."

Suman was at a loss for words, her heart thumping in her chest as she stared at him.

But before she could respond, he leaned down, his lips grazing her neck in a soft, lingering kiss.

Suman's eyes fluttered closed at the sensation, her breath quickening as he continued his trail of kisses, moving down to her shoulder.

She sighed softly, her body relaxing under his touch, enjoying the intimacy of the moment.

But her breath caught when she felt the strings of her blouse loosen, and her eyes flew open, locking with Amay's mischievous gaze.

He smirked, and the tension in the room became almost unbearable.

"I think we should sleep," Suman stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's quite late."

Amay's grin only widened as he stepped back slightly, his hand still on her waist. "Naah, sweetheart," he said, his voice dripping with desire. "The night has just begun. Let me do the honors of eating you."

Suman's eyes widened, and she hesitated. "Eating me? Am I a meal or something?"

Amay's smirk turned into something far more predatory. "You are my heavenly meal," he said, his voice raw with longing. "So, of course, you need to be devoured... by me."

Before Suman could process his words, Amay was upon her, his lips crashing onto hers in a searing kiss.

He captured her lips hungrily, as though he couldn't get enough of her, taking both her lips at once in a kiss that left her breathless.

Suman's heart raced, her body tingling in ways she couldn't control.

The world around them disappeared as they lost themselves in the kiss, the intensity of their connection overwhelming her senses.

After what felt like an eternity, Amay finally pulled away, his forehead resting against hers as they both gasped for air.

Suman's chest heaved, and her mind was spinning from the sensation.

She opened her eyes to find him watching her, a satisfied smile on his lips.

"Your lips..." Amay whispered, his voice still husky from the kiss, "are the best appetizers I've ever had."

Suman blushed deeply, a soft laugh escaping her as Amay lifted her effortlessly into his arms. "Let me have some exquisite dinner tonight," he murmured, his voice tender despite the fire still burning in his eyes.

But as he carried her towards the bed, Suman couldn't shake the feeling that the night had only just begun.
