Chapter 12
: Tanner/Zachary
Sophia's warm body pressed against me making me give a little moan in my sleep as she wiggled her butt against my hips. Grunting softly she quickly stopped moving falling back into sleep. Fighting back the urge to do anything with her half asleep I quickly rolled away from her as I crawled out of bed grabbing a pair of my pants shoving them on I walked out of the room leaving Sophia in the room asleep.
'There you are' glancing up at Dustin who was leaning against the wall. Pushing away from the wall he handed me the file that was tucked under his arm. 'I thought you'd like to take a look at this before we chose to go through with it'
Shifting through the pages I looked up at him. 'A werewolf Alpha female?' nodding he glanced away. How strange for him to bring me such a case this had to be a fake report that was brought to us. There was no way an Alpha female would be suddenly announced as an omega to a pack.
'She was rejected by her mate and her pack announced her new post as omega.' He answered as he glanced over at me. He knew my view on rejections, sure I hated all werewolf's but to be rejected was almost a death sentence, or insanity to either of the two.
'An Alpha letting that happens? How old is she anyways?' I flipped through the rest as I waited for him to answer me looking at the picture of the small female her eyes holding a maturity that didn't match her child like face with tangles of blonde curls surrounding her face.
'She's 13 years old her parents were killed by a neighboring pack that took their pack over. The Alpha's of that pack demoted her to omega instead of killing her because they didn't want to kill her as well as the fact that the new Alpha's of the pack realized she is their sons mate' he answered as he rolled his shoulders. 'We should get her out of there Tanner, I know you're so iffy about younger werewolf's but we can't let her die maybe her mate is being threatened maybe they both will come to be together'
Nodding I handed him back the folder. 'Very well take two others with you should be easy enough quick in and out you hear me?' nodding he turned away. 'And I highly doubt that brother but if it comforts you to think so'
'You know today I was thinking about Jordan' he whispered suddenly sadness coated his eyes. 'I miss him Tanner'
'I know I miss him to' I answered softly as I reached out and touched his arm. 'We all miss him Dustin, but we can't change the past all we can do is keep looking forward.'
Shrugging my hand off he nodded walking past him I went into the training room. Walking over to the dun bells I lifted the 80lb dun bell up with one arm and curled it up to my chest with a sigh. Blowing off some stem I continued till my arm burned switching to the other arm in continued with a deep growl as I stopped tossing the dun bell across the room it hit the floor and shot back up with a crash as it slammed into the bottom of the mirror sending glass shattering. Growling I rolled my shoulders as I glanced over at the door as Sophia stumbled in half asleep. 'What are you doing up?'
Glancing up at me she gave a weak smile as she stumbled to me. Falling into my arms she rubbed her face into my chest. 'Dustin said you would be here' she muttered softly as she nuzzled my neck. 'Are you ok?'
Groaning I wrapped my arms around her with a deep sigh as I held her tight as she nuzzled my neck. 'I'm all right I was just getting in a work out before dawn'
Grumbling to me she kissed my chin with a small smile. 'Come back to bed its cold without you there' she whined with a frown. 'Please? It's lonely without you next to me.' she pleaded as she stuck her bottom lip out making me want to lean down and nibble on her bottom lip.
'if you want me to I guess I can cut training two hours short' I muttered as I released her lip from my teeth giving her a kiss I tightened my arms around her pressing her flush against me so that the curves of her lush body were up against mine. 'Sweetheart you didn't brush your teeth did you' scowling up at me she went to pull away from me.
'Well I didn't mention that you haven't brushed your teeth either' she shot back at me with a frown as she snapped her mouth shut.
As weird as it may seem I didn't mind her morning breath I didn't care if she woke up with nothing but bed head. Picking her up she gave little fuss as I walked out of the room with her close to my chest. 'Fine fine let's get you to the bathroom.

Stumbling out of the bathroom with a towel holding up her hair and one around her chest. 'The-the water felt good' she muttered as I tossed her my t-shirt. Catching it she slid it over her head putting it on she went to the bag I gave her and pulled out underwear. Turning away from her I waited till I felt the bed dip under her weight as she crawled to me. Feeling her chest up against my back she slid her arms around my waist.
'What's wrong?' I grunted out to her as I rubbed her hand leaning back against her I gave a little sigh. I could get really use to this having her here in my room waking up with her next to me. It was nice to have someone who wanted to rely on me someone who needed me.
Shivering when she kissed my shoulder I bit my lip as I waited for her to answer me. 'I had a nightmare' she muttered against my skin as she nibbled softly. 'About the attack' she shivered in fear as she began to suck where she had bit.
'It scared you didn't it?'
'Yes' she uttered softly. 'Make me forget' blinking when she let me go I felt her move around till she was in front of me on my lap. 'Tanner'
'I don't know how I can make you forget about your past Sophia' leaning in she crushed her lips to mine her body sent chills of need through my till I felt my muscles clench with the need to pin her down and kiss her. I wanted her so bad yet I didn't want to give into my need just yet.
'Just kiss me' she answered softly against my lips her eyes holding a lusty look. 'Please Tanner'

Her body was gorgeous as she lifted her hips up into mine as I kissed her my hands holding her body arched into mine. 'Sophia' her name coming out whispery as I licked her neck tasting the salty sweet flavor of her skin. She was ready for me, so ready for me that she hunger and lust was heavy in the air making it hard to control myself as I tried to gain control of my needs and wants. I wanted her more and the scent of her arousal wasn't helping me at all.
'Tanner' tugging at my hair I gave a deep growl as I grit my teeth as I went to pull away from her. Holding me there she dragged my face to hers as she entangled our lips our breath mingling coming out in desperate needy gasps as I held her tighter dropping my weight in between her cocked open legs that wrapped around me instantly as my body molded to hers.
Her nails dug into my back almost piercing the skin making me buck into her roughly causing her to scoot up in the bed. Gasping my arms as I teased her, flicking my tongue over her puffy lips her eyes locked onto mine as I smiled at her. God she looked so sexy with her cheeks red with lust and need. Pushing up into me she gave a little whine as I pulled back from the kiss she gave a little gasp of breath as she struggled to lean up. Burying my face into her neck I growled deeply making her give a little moan of pleasure.
Settling my hands on her hips I guided her showing her how to move with me against me till we were in sync with one another my pajama pants were barely a layer between us as I felt her warmth as I gave a deep growl of need. I wanted her so bad, so freaking bad.
'Tanner please' I knew what she was asking for but I couldn't give it to her. Not now at least I knew I should stop soon before we went too far I knew if I didn't stop I would take her and it wouldn't be as gentle as she deserved to have her first time. 'Tanner please' she repeated with deep whimper.
'I can't' rolling off of her I quickly got out of bed and went to the bathroom locking myself in as I dropped my pants. Hopping into the shower with the cold water on full blast I gave a deep growl of frustration.
'Tanner are you ok?' she banged on the door.
'I'll be out in a minute' I called out as I leaned against the shower with one arm holding me there as the cold water ran down my back. 'I'm fine'
Hearing her walk away I shut the water off and rolled my shoulders as I got out grabbing a towel I began to dry off as I unlocked the door. Walking out I found her in bed waiting for me. Glancing up at me she gave a weak smile. 'How was your shower?'
Glancing down I shrugged. 'It did its job, you should get some sleep you've been waking up early Sophia' I muttered s I went to my dresser pulling out some fresh clothes I went back into the bathroom to get dressed.

I could feel her heart rate increase I could taste his saliva in my mouth and I could feel his hands as if I were in her body my wolf called me to attention pulling me into her body holding me captive in her body as she experienced things she should be experiencing with me. Glancing over at Yuki I rolled out of bed as I held my chest as I staggered out of my room.
I couldn't get out. No matter how many times I tried to stop it and to get away but I couldn't. I didn't want to see this I didn't want to be seeing these things. That was my mate in that mans arms that was my Sophia not his.
Panting I locked myself in the bathroom. Growling I punched the wall as Tallon howled out in pain in me. The howl echoed through my thoughts making me shake as I fell to my knees clutching my hand over my heart.
'Sophia' his voice memorized her as he kissed her I felt the sparks of life and lust that ignited in her body making her arch her thoughts haunting me as she kissed him back. Why wasn't she pushing him away? Why wasn't she fighting him off? She's my mate not his she belongs to me!
Shrinking against the door I gave a whimper as my heart quenched painfully. It was like heart burn times ten...
'Sophia, Sophia, Sophia' he continued to breath to her making me whimper in pain as I felt my vision get black dots as the hum of everything suddenly died away as my hands went num. Her lust was clear running through my blood as I began to feel like I was drowning suddenly everything went back as I gave a strangled yelp.
'Babe?' Yuki's voice muttered from behind the door. 'everything all right in there?' dragging myself up slowly clutching the counter for support I gave a groan when my knees buckled under my weight sending me back on the ground in a heap as I knocked my head on the wall. 'Zachy?'
'Don't-don't call me that' I moaned out in pain as I reached up again my fingers slipped knocking over the glass cup sending it falling to the ground shattering as I tried to get up again. 'I'm fine'
'No you're not! What happened? Why did that sound like glass breaking? Zach open this door right now' she demanded as I felt like my soul was ripped out of me. Glancing around the room I felt chills run through me as I looked at Sophia straddle that man. Her eyes were lusty as she kissed him, I felt envious of him that he was getting attention that should be mine.
'Tanner' her voice was deep and husky coming out breathy as I watched I wanted to leave I did not want to see this. 'Tanner please' she begged him with a pout as he attempted to hold her off. Growling at the thought of them being together intimately enraged me as she suddenly stopped struggling biting her lip she looked away. 'Today' she muttered. 'While you were in the training room I had an attack'
Concern flashed through the man's eyes making me growl as I clenched my hands. Someone had attacked my mate? 'Why didn't you call me to come to you sweetheart I would of dropped what I was doing' he demanded his eyes flashing dark. 'That bastard will pay for treating you like he does. He doesn't deserve you'
'I guess, I guess Nel did the right thing for calling you' she answered with a frowning I gulped. Why would she say that, when she told me she loved me? 'Tanner?' she continued as she fiddled with his hair. He sat there quiet watching her with curious eyes as she gave him a nervous smile. 'Kiss me' just a simple request that made Tallon my wolf cringe deep inside of me with a pain filled howl that rang through the air that they didn't seem to hear as he cupped her face in his hands he held her with such care that enraged me yet filled me with jealousy because I wanted to be the one she was asking to kiss.

Blinking I glanced around as I sat up slowly with my head spinning my hand suddenly felt on fire as I glanced down at the small pool of blood that began to spread as I jerked my hand up checking the palm up I grabbed the large piece of the glass out of it.
'Zachary open this door right now!' Yuki's obnoxious voice screamed as the door jiggled from the force she was putting behind it.
'Yuki call the pack doctor for me' I muttered as I stood up washing my hand under cold water I got out the tweezers to get the little pieces. Unlocking the door I grabbed the towel and wrapped it around my hand as I went to my bed. Pulling the sheets off along with the blankets I went to the laundry room and shoved them in the wash adding bleach and soap I set it and walked away.
'What happened?' glancing at Tennis I flashed him my hand. 'O ok then' he gave a sigh as he dropped his bag, searching through it he found what he was looking for. 'Well let me take a look to see how deep it is' he muttered as I led him to the kitchen sitting down he moved across from me. Taking my hand he glanced at me with a hesitant look as she went to work with it.
'Just get it over with' I answered with a sigh knowing he was hesitating because of my new status as Alpha as well as the fact that if I was enraged I could take his life if I wanted.
'Yes Alpha, might I say that this is a rather deep cut.

'Sophia?' glancing over at me she gave a small smile. 'I brought you a fruit salad' nodding she brought the blanket closer to her.
'Thanks Tanner'
Shrugging I walked up to her and kissed her on the forehead as I sat across from her as I gave her the plate and fork. 'I figured you'd be lonely sense you've been in here for three hours alone' I answered with a smile.
Glancing up at me she smiled as she nibbled on a piece of mango. 'I guess your right I watched all the movies you left Me.' she gave a little sigh. 'And I forgot how to work the dish thing and now it's a black screen I think I broke it again' chuckling I turned the TV on and hit the button.
'there you go I have to go to the office and get some files and paperwork' I answered with a deep sigh as I gave her a kiss. Walking away I slid out of my room pausing as I glanced up at Jordan. 'what are you doing out of your room?'
'nobody has been down this hall but you brother, Dustin talks of me I fear that Charlotte will target him next to fill in for my place' he sighed with a deep sadness flashing in his eyes. 'I should have listened to you in the beginning brother. I am sorry I doubted you in the first place I believe it is almost time for my revealing'
'not yet you are a vital part of my plan brother please refrain from being seen' nodding I quickly slipped past him and down the hall. 'I still need you brother'
'You know I never thought I'd hear those words from your mouth sense I was the one who killed father' turning around I smirked.
'I would have done the same thing' I answered soberly as I cracked my knuckles. Turning back away I waved him off as I went into my study closing the door behind me going to my desk I opened up the safe and pulled out three files. Checking through them I grabbed the tape and slid it in the TV.
Watching the screen I flinched at the sight of young Sophia who was backed up against the wall screaming as a wolf inched forward. Her eyes were wide and frightened as she knew the end would come sickened by the thought I turned it off and slumped back in my chair as I clenched my hands into tight fists. I had to stop this. Zachary could not get away with his sins he has committed. He has not only cheated repeatedly on Sophia but has hurt her immensely.
'you like that human don't you' glancing up at Jordan as he walked in I gave a deep sigh. 'I can tell you do so its no use lying to me Tanner.' He warned with a growl. His fang necklace rattled against the silver pendent that was around his neck. 'you know it will never end well, as much as you'd like it to that girl will die. She is human and humans are such short lived people. You are blessed with a abnormally long life, you did not tell her your true age did you?'
Looking away I simply shrugged. 'how would she of taken it to realize I am three times her age?' I whispered with a deep sigh
'and you've been celibate for 31 years. I don't know were you get off telling her seven years' he chuckled. 'I bet it helped to lie to her though I don't think she would of acted the right way I just wonder if she knows about the long life we hybrids are gifted with'
'cursed with brother this is no gift. To watch someone you love slowly die before your eyes while you are the exact age frozen in this state' I motioned to my body. 'it is no blessing at all but a curse to us hybrids just like the vampires had planned'
'the vampires made us to watch over them in the morning and in the light of day, but their plan backfired when we hybrids realized that we were of both worlds. Our wolfs are one with us on the highest level possible that is why we can not shift into a wolf unlike the werewolf's who can take on their state.' He sighed. 'yes there is a curse to even that for a werewolf's' raising an eyebrow I waited. 'they eventually loose themselves to their wolfs and are permanently in that state of shifted form thus the creation of the common day wolf's that populate the world.' He sighed deeply. 'its not common now in days but it happens to the unlucky kind.' He answered again.
'how do you know all this?'
'the witches know everything' he fiddled with the pendent around his neck. 'this was my mothers you know, before dad killed her she gave me this while hiding me in a chest to keep me safe from him' glancing at me he gave a sad smile. 'you and Dustin are lucky to be alive I later found out in life that he killed every child that was his as well as the mothers' he shakes his head. 'when I found him he was in the process of killing another family I dealt with the problem and it felt better to know that a man like him was no longer alive in this world'
'I wonder why he never came for us'
'because he didn't know you even existed. Humans and werewolf's cant bred he had a curse put on him by the Vampires and thus created you without his knowledge I assume for the fact he never came for you or Dustin' he answered with a deep thoughtful look in his eyes. 'I wonder why the Vampires did make it known to him though.'
