Chapter 13

: Sophia/Tanner

Twisting around in the sheets my hips pushed up off the bed with a little moan I tugged on his hair whimpering in need as I met his thrusts. The thin material of my underwear began to tear as he hooked a finger through the material till it split at one hem. His lips tasted my own mouth tangling his hands back into my hair he held me in a captivated kiss our tongues darting in and out of each other’s mouth in a erotic manor as he teased at me touching the tip of my tongue with his as he quickly pulled back to kiss the side of my lips making me tremble against him as I moaned out his name. Trailing my hand down his stomach I glanced at him his smoldering brown eyes that reminded me of a creamy chocolate,  making me want to just stare at him. Instead I hesitantly cupped his member feeling how large it was I gave a shaky nervous laugh as he gave a deep growl.

‘Sophia’ his voice was pained coming out hoarse.

‘Am I doing it wrong?’ I asked innocently as I slid my hand up his member back to his stomach.

Rolling out of bed with a little groan I went to the bathroom combing my hair I slipped into the shower with a deep unsatisfied sigh. It had been a dream, a good dream maybe even a perfect dream but it was a dream. None of it had been real none of it had happened with upset me slightly because I wanted Tanner.

But yet even if I knew it would be a while till we were together I’d have this dream to replay anytime I wanted. Sighing I rubbed the soap into my hair with a deep sigh the water felt amazing as I rubbed my breasts a blush creeping over my cheeks as I mimicked my dream as I pinched my nipples, making a little gasp I held my breath as I sank against the wall of the shower the warmth sending chills through me as I bit hard on my bottom lip.

Suddenly my hands fell away from my breasts as I gave a strangled scream as images of Zachary filled my mind. His backside naked to my eyes revealing his butt, that may I add didn’t look as good as Tanners. His body was arched over something…or should I say someone?

Whimpering I sank to my knees whimpering as my eyesight went a blur my shaking hands went numb as the images went away quickly. My body racked with pain as I let out a scream of agony as I curled forward holding my stomach coughing I flinched at the sight of blood that quickly washed away in swirls of light pink fading away into nothing down the drain.

Groaning I fell to my side my hand grasping the tiles as I panted for breath my body curled inward my knees to my chest as I whimpered in pain.

Walking into the room I dropped the files on the desk as I glanced at the bathroom. The shower was going so I took a seat and began to look through my files. Checking through them I gave a little frustrated sigh as I glanced over the plans.

With my growing people I needed to add onto the facility, we needed a larger kitchen along with some entertainment for those who didn’t like to come out. So maybe a large indoor pool area, along with the addition of twenty new rooms. Groaning I slumped in my desk as I wrote the details two beds for ten rooms and the rest single queen size beds for mates, and or girlfriend.

Minutes later I glanced at the bathroom and simply shrugged I never understood why woman took so long in the bathroom. A simple shower would be enough for me. Shaking my head with a chuckle I dropped the file on the chair and grabbed another.

I finally finished my files as I dropped them in the done pile which was on the chair. Standing up I walked to the bathroom and knocked. Getting no answer I opened the door and glanced at the shower. Fear surged through me as I looked at Sophia’s limp body that was curled up in a ball at the bottom of the shower. Rushing forward I turned the water off and pulled her wet body out. Her lips were blue as I held her to my chest. Her body was shaking violently with whimpers and whines as she looked up at me with hazed half blind eyes.

Carrying her to the bed I pulled the blankets back and put her in. Turning up the heat I shoved off my wet clothes and got in next to her pulling her into my arms I rubbed her sides and arms trying to warm her up as I whispered to her softly trying to get her to come to.

‘Tan-so cold-Tanner?’ she blinked repeatedly as she looked up at me reaching out hesitantly she cupped my face in her hand with a small little relieved sigh only to laps back into unconsciousness.

‘what do you mean you don’t know whats wrong with her Ben? You’re a fucking doctor!’ I hissed out as Dustin glanced at me his eyes fearful as he looked at Sophia’s motionless body that laid feet from his chair. ‘she’s been like this for three days. She could die from this if her body doesn’t get the nutrients she needs’ my voice died away as I rubbed my face.

‘we’re testing her blood right now, I’m doing everything I possibly can Joel. She has no symptoms’ he whispered as he glanced over at her. ‘I don’t know what it is that made her like this I’m running out of ideas’

Turning on my heels I found myself in the training room pressed against the cold glass holding my head with silent tears running down my face.

‘when I lost the woman I love’ looking up at Jordan I gulped as he proceeded. ‘ my heart died along with her when she took our child along with her’ he sighed with a sad look in his eyes. ‘I do not want to see you turn out like me brother’  reaching out he rested his hand on my shoulder. ‘I am but three years your age brother tis a long time to harbor such pain.’ He handed me a piece of paper. ‘call this number arrange for them to come here they will know what to do, Ben is but a doctor but them they are skilled in many things.’

Clenching the paper in my hand I looked down at my feet. ‘thank you’

‘now go make haste’ doing as he said I left quickly to make the call.

‘hello?’ the voice that answered sound aged beyond years as I took a deep breath ‘Jordan is this you boy?’

‘It is Tanner his younger brother’ I replied quickly.

‘and how might a squirt like ye self happened upon this number?’ demanded the aged person.

‘my brother gave it to me your skills are needed at once.’

‘skills, aye I know things. But it will cost you something’ came the chuckled reply.

‘anything come quick’ I demanded with a deep suppressed growl. My Sophia was laying in a bed unconscious and he wanted to talk about a price? Damn it all Sophia didn’t have time to batter.

‘take the day one by one as the age goes on’ the person answered soberly. ‘expect me soon young one.’

Pacing I paused to glanced at Sophia shaking my head I clenched my hands as someone walked in along side Dustin. ‘The witch is here’ looking up I glanced into the aged withered face of the man. ‘for Sophia said you called?’

Nodding I waved Dustin out of the room. As soon as he left Jordan appeared beside the man. ‘Nikko its been a while?’ patting his back the man Nikko walked towards her bed and quickly stepped away. ‘can you help her?’

Glancing back at Jordan he gave a deep sigh. ‘breaking a mating bond is not something so easily broken my friend, the bond between her and her mate is breaking slowly I would assume the flashes and chills accompany this change’ he glanced at me.

‘she has attacks, she losses her sight and she goes cold’ I confirmed with a deep frown as I watched him pull out something from his bag. Sprinkling the dust over her I watched her closely hoping to see a change.

‘as I suspected, the distance between the two must be greatened for her to survive being this close to her mate while its happening is causing such a thing’ Nikko whispered as he rested his hand on her forehead. ‘a brain fever and swelling in the abdomen’ he whispered again seconds later as his other hand moved over her stomach watching him closely Jordon joined him doing the exact same as they both began to utter something.

Stepping away as the air got thick I left the room sinking to the ground as I leaned against the wall I gave a shaky laugh. The one girl I have to be drawn to is a claimed female as well as a human. I knew I was risking more then usual when I chose to get her from Zachary.

Walking back into the room I glanced at Jordan as he stepped away panting for breath as the old man joined him. ‘Jordan my boy, there is something far more then the bond breaking. He shakes his head. ‘I do not know if I can undo such a powerful spell that was placed on her, tis old ancient magic that is placed on her doing this not the mating bond being broken’ he whispered with a fearful look. ‘the child will survive on only will power and nothing more, I have healed what damage that was done from the spell and put a counter spell to help keep some of the effects away but that is all I can do’

Jordan glanced at me and frowned. ‘are you sure that is all that can be done Nikko?’ nodding Jordan sighed with a roll of his shoulders. ‘very well what is the price this time master?’ shaking his head Nikko stepped away from him.

‘the work I’ve done is nothing but a snap of the finger, I can not ask for anything when I can do nothing that you need. I must leave now I will study the spell and see if I can find a solution to the matter. The child’ he pauses and glances at me. ‘I can not say that my counter spells with save her life but it will give her a chance’ turning he left us standing there. Walking to Sophia I sat next to her and held her hand silent tears running down my cheeks. She couldn’t die because of him, she didn’t deserve this to happen not yet!

Clenching my hands I began to pace back and forth. ‘I need to take her back to Zachary the risk of her surviving is 1 out of 1000, I’m not willing to risk her death’ I whispered as I looked at Jordan.

‘You love her don’t you?’ nodding slowly I looked away with trembling lips my heart ached. ‘you will loose her forever if you return her to her mate, he will treat her poorly’ he warned.

Glancing back at Sophia I groaned. ‘I cant risk living in a world without her but I can live in a world that she lives in’ I answered with a  shaky voice. ‘I cant brother.’

Nodding I walked over to Sophia and picked her up in my arms.  ‘I am coming with you’

Walking up the pathway to the house with Jordan beside me I looked up at Zachary as he came walking towards me his  body stiff as he looked at Sophia. ‘what did you do to her?’

Flinching I tightened my arms around her. ‘what did I do to her? What did I do to her?!’ my  voice rose to a scream as I growled at him. ‘you did this to her, you put her through hell sense she’s been at my home. She knows about Bonnie, each time you take a woman you were affecting Sophia making her feel lower then lower’ I answered stiffly. ‘its because of you that shes like this’ looking down at her I pressed a kiss on her lips.

‘don’t, touch my mate’ looking up at him I smirked as I kissed her again. Feeling her shift in my arms I looked into her eyes as she began to shake.

‘Tanner-?’ nodding I felt relief fill me as she locked her arms around my neck as she gave a little sob. ‘I seen it Tanner, I seen it!’ she whimpered with shaky hands. ‘He was with her’ she whimpered into my neck her lips brushing against my skin. ‘I cant stand it, I cant make it stop make it stop.’

‘Sophia?’ feeling her body stiffen she just shuddered. She didn’t want to see him most likely after what she seen, she probably didn’t want to see him ever again. Glancing back slowly her eyes widened with fear.

‘Tanner what am I doing here?’

Sighing I kissed her forehead. ‘I had to bring you here because you’ve been asleep for a very long time, I wanted you back Sophia’ I answered with a deep sigh as I nuzzled her neck.

Surging forward I easily maneuvered away from Zachary ducking his punch as he stumbled off balance as he turned to face me again. ‘Put her down right now’

Snorting I rolled my shoulders. ‘Do you really think I’d let her stay with a mate like you? I mean you are a cheater who cant keep his dick in his pants’

‘and you’re a disrespectful hybrid that cant keep his hands off another wolfs mate’ he shot back as he drew himself to his full height.

‘I haven’t done anything that she hasn’t asked for, Sophia wasn’t preasured to do anything against her will ‘

‘I don’t want to be here I want to leave’ Sophia ground out through stiff lips as she looked down at her clenched hands her knuckles going white. ‘I want to leave I don’t want to be here’ she repeated as she glanced up at me. ‘can we go now?’

A howl rippled through the air as I glanced at Zachary’s smoky black wolf. Looking away I walked back into the woods dropping a knock out gas as I left with Jordan right behind us as we disappeared into the woods.

Laying Sophia down in the bed I brushed her bangs out of her face. It had worked, I knew he had felt the pain in his chest as he seen her kiss me back. I knew it weakened his knees when she begged to go back home with me.

Sighing I gave a startled little grunt when she pulled me down to her. Falling on top of her my full weight settled on her scrambling to get up she held me there her fingers curled around the back of my neck holding me there face to face. ‘don’t go’

Licking my dry lips I nodded slowly. ‘ok’

Kissing me I felt my self get lost in the bliss of her sweet kiss. She was back, safe in my bed in the protection of my arms and Zachary was in pain for what he had done my plan had worked exactly as I had planed it too.  Pulling me closer her lips mingled with mine intertwining as she fought to take control of the kiss. Giving a deep growl I smiled against her lips as I took control pressing my lower body against her till her legs were cocked open and around me as I trailed my hand down her thigh making her shiver against my body.

Sucking in a deep breath I pushed into her hips making her give a sexy little whimper as she tugged at my hair her hand sliding between us pushing up my shirt till I had to lift slightly for her to take it off tossing it aside I kissed her deeply exploring the warmth of her mouth. Slightly curious to were she knew how to do this as her lips teased at me her tongue darting in and out of my mouth causing me to whine deep in my throat till I held her there.

‘little minx’ smiling she nibbled on her bottom lip.  trailing the tip of my nose down her neck she arched up tilting her head all the way back.

‘Tanner’ the sound of my name stirred lust deep within me making me glance up at her with a small smile.
