So i'm posting this story on two sites this and booksie, the one on booksie is doign good but not as good as on here...yet the people on booksie seem to be a little more then upset with the way the story is going...i understand not all will like how i make this story but isnt that the world? to each his own i dare say well anyways had to get that off my chest hope you like it...vote? comment????

Chapter 15

:Tanner/Zachary

My skin tingled all over as I leaned back in my chair as I kicked my legs up with a deep frustrated growl. Having Sophia do that to me did give me release but it made me want her even more now as I sat in my study mulling it all over.

‘you know brother if your to righteous of a man to give her what she wants I cold simply take your place’ looking at Jordan I gave a deep threatening growl making him flinch back while holding up his hands. ‘I’m just offering I can smell her musk from here.’ He answered with a sniff. ‘she smells good’

Growling I looked away from him. ‘don’t talk about Sophia like one of your hookers’

‘I’m not I’m just pointing it out she smells good I like her scent, if you hadn’t put your scent all over her I’d try to have a chance but your musk mingling with hers has half the humans walking on pins and needles even they can tell you put  you scent claim on her’

Looking away I rolled my shoulders. ‘I hadn’t thought about what I was doing while I was doing it’ I answered slowly with a deep sigh as I glanced at him.

‘Nikko chose to stay in one of the rooms to study her’ he announced as he propped himself against the door. ‘he says the spell on her isn’t just an ancient spell is something of royalty’ blinking I smirked.

‘I know this brother’ sighing I tossed him a file I had. ‘take a look at it’

Glancing through it his eyes widened. ‘you mean that she-?’ he stopped himself from speaking the word with wide eyes. ‘that cant be then that would mean that he-?’again he paused as he licked his lips. ‘someone is on our lands’ the door slid open as he disappeared in a puff of smoke making me almost chuckle as I looked at Ben.

‘yes?’

Blinking he stepped in and closed the door behind him with a shaky hand as he leaned against it for support. ‘I don’t know how to explain.’ He muttered softly as he squeezed his eyes shut. ‘Sophia got hurt’

Standing up I walked up to him and grabbed him by his throat my fingers curled around his thick neck as he looked at me with wide eyes. ‘what do you mean Sophia got hurt? I left her in my room’

‘one of the new people hadn’t heard your threat…they…they got into the room’ he whispered out in a shaky voice.

‘what happened to her?!’ I pulled him back slightly only to slam his head into the door again. Flinching his head bumped off. ‘what happened to Sophia?!’

‘she’s fine, Someone saved her we didn’t see who because she hadn’t see them she only said that they made the person go away we cant find the new bee Tanner he went missing’ surging past him I found myself in my room panting my hands shaking as I threw the door open. Glancing around I inhaled deeply.

‘She’s fine’ glancing at Jordan I let out a sigh of relief. ‘I got here in time to get rid of him, his body is already taken care of’ he announced with a roll of his shoulders. ‘he wasn’t able to do anything to her just scared her a bit’ nodding I felt my anger slowly dissipate as I looked at him

‘Were is she?’ he pointed to the bathroom.

‘she wont come out unless its you I told her to lock herself in here till I brought you back’ nodding I walked to the door and knocked. She didn’t answer me right away but I heard her shift around slowly.

‘Sophia its me, Tanner open up its safe now’ the door was unlocked and she was in my arms shaking with a whimper. Glancing back at my brother he was gone like always as I hugged her close. ‘your ok right?’ nodding against my chest she looked up at me.

‘the ghost told me to hid in here’ the ghost? Did she mean Jordan? ‘he went to get you didn’t he?’ nodding I gave her a kiss on the forehead. ‘he made the man go away’

‘I know, lets get you something to eat’ leading her to the dresser I grabbed a shirt to put over her tang top and a pair of pajama pants that were to big for her but she rolled them a couple times to fit her waist as she curled her fingers between mine.

‘aren’t you going to put a shirt on?’ glancing down at my bare chest I nodded as I let go of her hand to get a shirt shoving it on I slid my hand back into hers.

‘that better?’ nodding she smiled at me ‘if I didn’t know any better I’d say you didn’t like to see me naked’ I teased lightly making her blush.

‘I had a dream…’ glancing down at her I raised an eyebrow. ‘about Zachary, he’s looking for me Tanner. Its strange but I can feel him calling to me’ she shuddered as she said it. ‘its scares me’

Wrapping an arm around her I kept my mouth shut as she talked. I knew there was the risk that their bond would tear her away from me but I would enjoy what little bliss I could because in the end I realized Sophia could and would be the only woman I would ever allow myself to be with. I was scared that their bond would take her away from me and into the arms of her mate, Zachary and from what I’m told he had cut all ties for real with his little lovers and was now on the hunt for us. Or so Jordan had said. Being half witch gave him the powers to change his shape and transform  into things, which had led her mate the other direction by posing as the guardian spirit of the forest we lived in.

‘he hurts me Tanner, yet no matter how much I try to stay mad at him…I cant’ she gave a little puff of air as I hid my true reaction my fears were coming true I knew the bond between the two would be a hard one to break. ‘but why him? Why did I have to get a mate like that?!’ she threw her hand in the air and gave a cute growl as she glared into space.

‘fate I guess chose other wise.’ I answered stiffly. ‘maybe it thought you could change him’ I gave a miserable sigh I hated telling her the truth but I wouldn’t lie to her about that. And it was killing me to keep what secret I had at the moment from her.

‘I don’t want to change him he should just want to change not me making him change’ she pouted with a frown

‘we cant change that though its how it is’ I answered softly. ‘for now your safe here with me, what happened with that person will never happen again I promise’

‘Ok Tanner’

The shower felt good as I rolled my shoulders my hands lathering soap into my hair as I washed it out glancing down at my feet I washed the water drained out. Sighing I bit my lip. I needed to tell Sophia soon, soon before Zachary made his move and took her away again. Frustration filled me as I contemplated my response to what was to come. Turning the shower off I stepped out and grabbed a towel.

My whole schedule had been disrupted with Sophia sleeping in my bed, hell I sleep more then I’m use to. I’ve been missing out on my work outs and my paperwork is starting to build up on me. walking out with a towel around my waist I grunted in shock when I stumbled into Sophia when she stepped into my path her arms locked around my neck as she hoisted herself up crushing her lips to mine. The desperation of her kiss scared me when I knew why she was acting like this. She had been napping and most likely had a bad dream.

‘why cant he just leave me alone?’ she whispered as she pulled from the kiss to bury her face in my neck. I didn’t care if she used me I wanted her attention. Wrapping an arm around her I rested my chin on her shoulder with a puff. I didn’t want to loss her. Not yet we had just started.

Holding her tightly I couldn’t speak as I soaked in her warmth I loved how her body pressed into me how her hands curled in the back of my hair sending shiver through me.

Licking my lips she pulled away from me. ‘The ghost brought me brownies’ glancing at the tray she pointed to I noted the note on it. ‘he said it was for you’

‘Sophia what does this ghost look like?’

‘I don’t know he’s always surrounded by smoke and it gets really cold in here’ she muttered as she skipped to the table grabbing a brownie she took a bit as I grabbed the note it was Jordans writing.

She does smell better in person brother, anyways chocolate always brings a smile to girls faces. –Jordan-

‘Sophia we have to keep our ghost a secret ok?’ nodding she nibbled with a  bright smile.

‘this is so good’ she stopped munching to clear her throat. ‘when I was in the pack they wouldn’t let me eat things like this’ she frowned with a shudder.

‘what did they make you eat?’

‘salads and fruit the one day some pack members forced me to eat raw deer just to laugh at me’ she shuddered. ‘I was sick for three days because  it didn’t settle well with my stomach.’

Giving her a kiss I crumbled the paper and threw it away.

‘the ghost, he’s nice’ she added as I went and sat down. I simply nodded great full that my brother had saved her when I could not. ‘Tanner?’ grunting my eyes focused on her as she straddled my lap. To think after the situation she’d been through that she’d of been scared but no she hadn’t. Licking my lips I waited as she leaned towards me and brushed her lips against mine her hips moving slowly as she rubbed against me.

‘O Sophia’ I gave a little chuckle/groan as she trailed her hands down my arms my muscles clenched under her touch as I held her hips guiding her speeding up the motion of her hips as I bucked up into her. Gasping  I smiled as she wrapped her arms around my neck for support.

‘o gosh’ licking her neck I gave a deep growl. ‘Tanner, please’ I wanted to give into her I wanted to rip the clothes from her and bury myself between the warmth of her legs to be in her to feel her shudder and cry out in pleasure.

‘what?’ breathing against her neck a shiver ran down her spine . ‘what do you want Sophia?’ I was teasing her I knew I was and it made me smile knowing  I was as I licked her neck

Pulling away I looked at her as she chewed on her bottom lip making me want to kiss her. ‘You know what I keep asking for’ she answered softly. Trailing her fingers down my chest and under my shirt. The tips of her fingers leaving a trail of heat were she trailed them as I closed my eyes and let the heat soak in.

‘you know I cant give you what you want at the moment baby’ whining she gave me a kiss.

‘you said there was a slim chance of us actually getting pregnant that it wouldnt most likely happen. If I’m ok with it then why are you so against it?’ she asked softly making me whimper.

‘because I don’t want to risk bring a child into this world just yet Sophia. That child will be of both worlds if it happens I cant let that happen’ I answered softly as she frowned at me.

‘but why not?’ she gave a little pout as I kissed her.

‘Because people don’t understand my kind or like us in the least bit’ I answered softly to her as I rubbed her back. ‘werewolfs hate us, and try to kill us, humans know we’re not fully human. We don’t fit in anywhere Sophia I don’t want to bring a child into a world of hate’

Blinking she bit on her lip. ‘but theres a chance it couldn’t happen’

‘but there still is a chance and I don’t want to risk it.’

Curled up in my side she had her head rested on my chest with a little smile on her lips as she slept there. She had given up on her advances to giving herself wholly to me a hour ago now she was asleep in my arms content in being close.

Sighing softly I gave a deep groan. Her warmth soothed me as I rubbed her side.

Glancing at the building in front of me as I walked up the steps I shoved my hands in my pockets as I walked up the steps slowly my heart ached as I tried to call out to Sophia though I knew I may possibly not work sense after all she was a human but I was still trying. Tallon’s loud howls that called out to her in vain hope that she would hear us.

‘O Sophia,’ I gave a deep groan as I pushed the door open walking in I took in the lavished sight of the four golden pillars.  Going to the front counter to the receptionist I waited as she glanced up at me with wide eyes.

‘yes how may I help you?’

‘I have a appointment with Blake Johnson’ I answered as I glanced at the clock.

Clicking away at the computer she nodded. ‘yes on the third floor second door on the right. You can take the stairs or the elevator’ she instructed as she pointed to were the stairs and elevator was. Nodding I took off jogging up the stairs not bothering to go slow this was important.

‘Zachary nice to see you again’ nodding as I took a seat I clenched my hands. ‘what brings you here not everyday someone like you comes to talk to me’ he answered with a curled smile.

‘I need to get rid of someone Blake and I cant have it traced back to me.’ I answered soberly. ‘I’m willing to pay anything needed to get rid of them’

‘who is this person? What makes it so important that you have to get rid of them with out it leading to you?’ he asked curiously which was a shock because he never asked questions simply go the information and did the job.

‘the person is Joel Tanner, he has my mate and I want her back. The problem is she seems to of taken a liking to him, in turn I don’t want to be known as the murderer of her lover and have her hate me so I need you to do that for me’ I answered stiffly.

‘lover? I thought your kind always stayed together’  he mused as he ran his hand through his thick brown hair.

‘she’s human, I know its odd but its true’ I answered swiftly as I rubbed my hands on my jeans. ‘can you do that for me?’

‘aye I can do that for you, I’ll have my men find him I’ll do the job personally to see it done’ he answered with a deep chuckle. ‘the price I will make it a 1000 even’

Nodding I reached into my packet and grabbed my wallet puling it out I counted the money out nodding as I handed it to him. ‘I expect this to be quick though I need the job done clean try not to scare her to much’ nodding he wrote it down. ‘and remember if you touch my mate, you will pay’ I growled in a low threatening voice. Chuckling he rolled his eyes.

‘I don’t need a human when I have a never ending line of females of our kind wanting me’ he answered bluntly.

‘whatever just bring her back’ pushing my chair back I turned and walked away walking out of the room breathing heavy as my palms began to sweat. My Sophia would soon be back in my arms never once had Blake failed me.

Laying on my fresh new bed with fresh sheets I looked up at the ceiling for a moment before I sat up. Walking out of my room I went to the kitchen got the bleach and a bowl. Filling the bottom of the bowl with bleach then adding hot water I took a towel and walked back to my bed room. Soaking the hand towel I twisted the water out and rubbed down the dressers slowly one by one. Rubbing each and every corner of it making sure it was clean.

By the time I had gotten done the room smelled of bleach and my nose tickled slightly as I closed the door and went to the kitchen. Closing my eyes as I took a seat I leaned  back and groaned. My hands tingled and my skin began to heat up as I opened my eyes. The room was a haze as I looked up into Sophia’s confused eyes.

‘Zachary?’ her voice warmed my ears making my heart putter a beat as I reached out and touched her cheek running my thumb over her smooth skin as she just looked at him with wide eyes. ‘How-I was just- where’s Tanner’ flinching I pulled her down to me and kissed her she struggled against me her butt brushing against the front of my jeans making me almost groan as I held her there my hand cupping the back of her neck keeping her face to mine.

Her voice was muttered by my mouth as she struggled to protest slowly I felt her respond not with the timid manor she did when I had first kissed her but in the experienced manor that told me just how far her and that man had went. And it hurt to know I didn’t want to believe it but now it was real as she suddenly started to rub against me her arms sliding around my neck as she pulled back to kiss my neck.

‘O Tanner’ my heart jerked in pain as she whispered his name kissing my neck with passion her hands trailing down my arms. It wasn’t me she was kissing right now it was Tanner. I went to push her away only to be jolted up grunting and coughing as I looked around my kitchen the light from outside shown through the light dimly the moon was giving off a eerie yellow.

It had been a dream all a dream? Or had that cruel being put me in his place to feel the pain of my actions. My heart ached as I licked my chapped lips standing I stretched my back cracking making me grunt out as I made my way back to my room opening the door I sniffed the air finding it smelling fresh and clean the lingering smell of bleach barely noticeable.

Stumbling to my bed I fell forward on it making the springs creak and protest as all my weight crashed down on it.

‘Sophia’ holding her in my arms I cradled her high to my chest as she gave a yawn. Showing her the bright moon she gave a little smile.

‘the ghost Tanner’ pointing to the shadow of my brother. ‘that’s him’

‘really?’ nodding she rubbed her face in my chest with a deep groan.

‘that’s the ghost that saved me from the mean man.’ She answered with a little chuckle. ‘he brought me the brownies…I wonder where he got them they were so good’ she muttered curiously as I put her down. Wrapping an arm around my waist she held close watching him as he walked closer to the tree line.

‘I have to go talk to the ghost ok? Wait here’ letting her go I walked towards Jordan with  my hands in my pockets. ‘Jordan’ I simply nodded to him as he gave a deep sigh.

‘I was given wind that someone will be here to talk to you’ he whispered as he watched Sophia wander around humming to herself. ‘we have to get Sophia out of here because they will try to take her away’ nodding I bit my lip.

‘but we don’t know it its true yet’

‘I will be lingering by if something happenes tell her to run I will get her away in time’ he ordered as he sank into the darkness leaving me there glancing back at Sophia I walked up to her and pulled her into my arms. Rubbing her back I brushed her bangs out of her face as I kissed her forehead.

‘the moon, looks pretty’ she muttered into my neck making me shiver as I glanced up into the crescent moon.

‘ya your right’

‘you know the legend on the werewolf say that Lady moon gave man her tears’ she whispered softly as she looked up into the sky. ‘that those tears are what made the first werewolf’

‘I heard it was the king and queen of the north and south that drank the tears ages later because they thought it would give them everlasting life’ I added softly as she looked at me and nodded.

‘but when they drank the tears it changed them on the first crescent moon. They are the parents to all of the werewolf’s and hybrids alike’ she continued with a little sigh.

‘only my kind was created by a curse of a vampire.’

‘Joel Tanner’ glancing away from Sophia I looked at Blake a well known assassin of the werewolf nation. ‘when I took this job I didn’t assume that I would come face to face with my little nephew.’ He chuckled with a deep sigh as his eyes locked  on Sophia. ‘and you made my job so much more easier’

Growling I pushed Sophia right behind me. ‘Sophia run’ hearing her whimper the sound of her retreating footsteps soothed me as I knew Jordan would have her.

‘Come now Tanner, why did you have to do a thing like that? I will have her when I’m done with you.’ He warned as his hand slid into his coat. Lunging at him I knocked him back throwing him back with a deep growl as Sophia’s scream sent chills down my spine as he slithered out from under me. The sound of a gun shot went off as the bullet just barely missed me as I jumped back and away from him.

‘you wont have her’

Chuckling he stood up running his hands down the front of his coat with a sigh. ‘O Tanner you know these wolf’s and their mates you cant simply take a already claimed female’

‘his mark isn’t on her neck  and, hes not even her real mate! It’s a spell of ancient times’ I hissed out through clenched teeth. ‘and I have proof.’

‘I’m sure you do Tanner but a job is a job’

‘I thought I’d find you here’ looking over at Darcy I glanced back at Blake.

‘Lord Darcy’ Blake quickly stepped away from me with wide eyes. ‘I was under the impression that this was just a simple job but what is a prince doing here’

‘Here to save a allies life’ Darcy answered as he appeared in front of Blake. Watching in awe and fear as his hand drew back his hand shot forward slicing through Blakes chest as blood splattered onto the ground showing black under the moon light. ‘now I would assume that you know that as a prince I cant have my hands dirty so you will leave and say Tanner did this to you. That’s an order and any other requests for taking Sophia shall be turned down no matter the money. As Prince you will obey me’ he warned darkly as Blake fell back. Scooting back and away from us Blake quickly nodded.

He had no choice but to obey his future king. Even someone of his stature knew better then to disobey a person of royalty.

‘yes Prince’ gathering himself up he left quickly holding his bleeding chest as Darcy turned to face me.

‘a bit careless Tanner, were is Sophia? She’s safe right?’ he demanded as I nodded.

‘she’s with my brother’

Nodding he gave a deep sigh as he glanced around. ‘you knew about the attack didn’t you?’ I nodded. ‘at least I got here in time I had someone shadowing him for the whole time. When I got news he went to Blake I knew I had to get here. I would like to see my sister Tanner’

‘Joel I hope you know you have a lot to explain’ Jordan growled as he let Sophia slid down his back and onto her feet.

‘Your ok?’ lunging at me Sophia’s body came into contact with mine as I wrapped my arms around her. She gave a little sigh. Pulling away she glanced at Darcy. ‘Darcy?’ nodding she let me go and gave him a hug as if they had been friends for ages. I watched the emotions in his eyes flicker to sadness and love as he looked away from her as she pulled away to return to my side. ‘your bleeding-’

‘messy kill that’s all’ he answered quickly with ease.

Nodding she hugged close to my side. ‘I didn’t know you two were friends’

‘recent acquaintances that’s all’ he answered with ease. ‘Zachary will make his move again’ looking into his eyes I nodded. ‘you need to be more prepared he most likely knows were you are now I cant stop him just yet because he doesn’t yet know about me’ he warned

‘I understand.’

‘I must leave now’ turning on his heels he turned and walked away

Zachary would be making another move, but I would be ready to tell Sophia what I had to tell her. Holding her to my side I gave a little protest when she pulled away only to settle back on me her head resting on my chest as her fingers trailed down chest drawing designs that sent chills through me. Kissing my chest she glanced up at me with a shy smile.
