Q; Ok so there it is some people asked who is there?

A: hunters, {ex. The man that was going to attack Sophia before Zachary stepped in at the school…ya that was a hunter}

**and just as a heads up I am introducing a new character to this book. Now I’m not giving the name because *hint hint, cough, cough* because its an important part in this whole story!! So just remember this @unknown@ person is going to be in this story for a while now.**

**ok so I also wanted to add…that Jordan knew something would go wrong hence why he showed Sophia the passage way out of the house to ensure her safety. But he didn’t think that anyone would be around that area thus the reason he told Sophia about it**

^^^ok so im done stalling…you can read not but wanted to apologize for chapter 22 I was out of it totally like coughing up a lung…feeling like I would die because I got the flu or some shit but hell I wrote that chapter cuz of you my readers so ya I’ll fix it up later? If I don’t get sick again today don’t feel all that swell and I have to fill in bubbles for a test…I HATE bubbles they get so confusing…^^^

Chapter 23

My muscles clenched as a howl erupted through the air that stilled my movements as I looked over as a wolf came trotting up a familiar scent of blood tickled my nose as Zachary glanced at me. it was like everyone had stopped fighting as the large wolf trotted up towards us dropping the body that was clenched between its teeth Sophia rolled over her hair covering her face. Giving me a cocky grin the wolf picked her back up holding her between his teeth as he winked at us both. She wasn’t moving I couldn’t tell if she was breathing panic filled me as it slowly changed into something darker…something more.

Rage filled me as I lunged only to be confronted with a small human hunter. My blade sliced through their mid stomach as I slid it up guiding it with a twist as he screamed in pain. Throwing the body aside Zachary caught me off guard when he shoved his head between my legs and took off running after the wolf in a dead sprint. Flattening against his back I held a fist full of fur in my hand as I watched my eyes scanning through the trees catching her scent Zachary began to run again only to jump back when a bomb went of sending us flying catching myself I squatted and caught Zachary as he shifted back into his human.

Standing he was breathing heavy as I let my eyes scan over the area. ‘that wolf wasn’t from my pack’ he ground out as he sent me a glanced.

‘nor from my men’ I answered as I rolled my shoulders. ‘follow my steps.’ I warned as I scanned the ground. As a tracker I could easily sense and tell the differences of the ground and were a bomb was and I easily avoided them leading Zachary and I after the wolf that had our woman. I knew he was just as pissed as I was, for now we were allies but when everything settled I knew it would go back to the same as before this all happened. ‘clear’ I grunted out as I broke out into a run easily gliding across the ground.

A strangled yowl came from ahead as my heart began to race as I felt Zachary running along side me glancing at him I grabbed a handful of his fur and slid myself onto him mid sprint. Picking up speed he carried us to the wolf. Sophia was laying motionless near a tree and Jordan stood there with bloody hands a curled smile on his lips as he licked his fingers.

Sick bastard always did find pleasure in blood.

Growling the wolf stood shaking it head it glanced between us before lunging at Zachary jumping off I landed behind him turning on my heels I slashed my blade catching its hind leg slicing through its fur and skin blood seeped out as it turned and snapped at me. its head knocked into my side as it sent me flying back. Catching myself I glanced at Jordan as he lunged again only to miss. Glancing around for Zachary I found his motionless body feet away from Sophia his hand reached out. He was breathing but he wasn’t moving. Growling I clenched my teeth as I lunged only to have Jordan chucked at me catching him I fell back from the force of his body hitting into mine.

Coughing I sat up and went to stand my heart stopped when I found that Sophia and the wolf were already gone. ‘Joel your bleeding’ glancing down at Jordan as he stood up his body wavered.

‘that’s not my blood, its yours’ I frowned as I tossed my coat of. Tearing the sleeve of my shirt off I wrapped the material around his arm.

‘I tried to stop him’ he whispered with a frown. ‘we failed.’

Walking over to Zachary I rolled him over onto his back finding his four long gashes going down his face at a angle. Flinching at the sigh I fiddled with the zipper of my zest till I pulled out the small first aid kit. Grabbing the gauze and hand sanitizer Jordan held my arm.

‘that isn’t the right stuff.’

‘its all I have with me Jordan we have to make do I cant carry him back  bleeding all over me’ I ground out through clenched teeth.

Shaking his head he pushed me aside and held his hand over Zachary’s head the other hand held his jacket close. His lips moved but I heard nothing as he sat back seconds later. ‘there I stopped the bleeding and there isn’t any scaring.’ Wiping away the blood I glanced at my brother.

‘you’ve gotten stronger.’

‘Nikko has taught me many things’ he smiled as he stood up brushing his forehead with the back of his hand he rolled his shoulder. ‘we should go now we can still catch up’

‘not without me you don’t’ glancing down at Zachary as he slowly sat up with a cough he glanced around. ‘what the hell happened?’

‘we don’t have time to talk about that Zachary we have to catch up with that bastard who has my girlfriend’ frowning at the word he shot up to his feet.

‘she’s my mate’ he grunted with a sneer.

‘who chose me’

‘now  before we play cock of the walk best we get Sophia? No telling what that wolf has in mind for her I mean he was a male so she could be sold…or raped’ Jordan reminded.

Zachary and I growled in response as I started to run. Running didn’t wind me in fact it didn’t bother me a plus for being a hybrid I guess I had the wolf sense’s I just wasn’t a wolf.

‘your running yourself to the ground’ Jordan panted as Zachary plopped down next to me. ‘Tanner’ he frowned when I dragged myself to my feet. It had been a half a day sense Sophia was taken I had been following its trail my body was worn out but I couldn’t stop I couldn’t let myself stop looking.

My Sophia was with a wolf, a male wolf that could do anything to her and it scared the hell out of me.

‘I know you want to get her back, we all do. But  your no use to her if your half dead’  Jordan grunted.

Whining beside me Zachary shifted into his human form. ‘we almost had them…’

‘and we lost them again we have to keep going’ I finished.

Glancing over the small human girl I smirked to myself. Those three were foolish to think they could possibly keep up with me. pushing her locks of hair aside she stirred looking up at me with confusion in her eyes only to show reorganization the spell had worked the implanted memories of my daughter was in her now.  ‘dad’ her voice hoarse as she licked her lips.

‘Cecilia’ I acknowledged as she frowned at me. My daughter had died today on the battle field but I took this girl in her stead implanting her memories into this girls body as I have done for years. ‘you failed me, you were to take his head’

‘I’m sorry father I tried’ she whispered to me. ‘I wont fail this time I promise’ looking up at me she gave a weak smile. ‘I will get Joel Tanners head’ she said fimly. Nodding I stepped away as I nodded.

‘good and there is two others I want you to kill for me Cecilia.’ She waited for me to continue as I watched her. She was such a handsome child. Flawless skin bright eyes that shown companion at one time and tenderness with innocent hints in them. But no longer did they hold that look they were that of a killer cold merciless that of a murderer. ‘Jordan, and Dustin Tanner’

Nodding she kicked the sheets off as she walked to the dresser. Opening it she pulled out black pants and a shirt. ‘very well father’

Turning I left her with a pleased smile closing the door behind me. ‘watch her, if she shows signs of getting her memory back shot her in the head’ I ordered Van who was posted near her door. Nodding I walked down the hall to my study as I opened the door. Closing it behind me when I walked in I stretched with a dark chuckle.

His scent was all over that girl, she had to of been close to him from the hint of his musk that lingered on her skin. I would use her to kill him something that my late daughter had failed me many times before.

Chuckling I took a seat in my large leather desk chair and leaned back all the way kicking my feet up. I knew they couldn’t find my place hell even if he was a tracker he couldn’t find this place. It was well hidden with enchantments and spells. Cracking my knuckles I looked at the door as my Sophia walked in her hair high in a pony tail tied with a  red ribbon, her tight fitting black outfit and the red belt that was around her waist showed her curves the sword that rested at her hip and the armor she wore made her look like a ancient warrior from ancient Japan from the warring-states-era.

‘Should I go now father?’

Shaking my head I motioned her to come to me. walking towards me I pulled her onto my lap smirking at how her little rump felt as she settled on my lap stiff her back straight eyes looking at the wall. ‘no not today you will trial for a while’

Nodding she hopped off my lap and left with out a word.

***ok so I had to put a pretty big twist in this story…sort of a habit that I have… 0_0 like it’s a urge that I cant fight so I had to this…came to me out of the blues while I was writing chapter 3…ya I have this $hit planned out,hahaha not really just thoughts and scenes I have in mind anyways who do you think this @unknown@ person is? I mean we know it’s the ***wolf*** that took Sophia in the first place. But what is his connection to Tanner? And why does he want Tanner dead? Thoughts anyone? Yes I’m interested in your thoughts and ideas you have about this story.***
