Chapter 26

:Bentley/Zachary/Lex

Glancing down at the girl sleeping in my arms I gave a miserable sigh. Cecilia’s memories were in her body making her love me but she didn’t have my Cecilia’s body. This girl was more developed.

I will admit it was a improve to the original Cecilia but I missed my wife. Her slim curves, her small high set breasts, her small pink lips, her bright green eyes that were surrounded by dark thick eye lashes, her pale skin framed by golden locks of blond hair. This girl was the exact opposite  grey eyes dark brown hair, curvy body more curves then my Cecilia had.

Groaning her eyes fluttered open with a small smile. ‘Bent’ she curled closer with a yawn. ‘how’d you end up in my bed?’

‘you  mean how’d you get in my bed’ I smirked at her. Blinking she looked around rubbing the sleep from her eyes. As she did I took the time to take in her sleepy self the Tang top she had on was half off exposing her cleavage.

‘you brought me here?’ she glanced back at me.

Nodding I pulled her back down to me.

‘your still not getting any’ she pointed at me. Smirking I rolled my eyes and kissed her.    I could get use to Cecilia with tits and an ass…and her lips…looked so kissable. Pushing me away she laughed. ‘o no you don’t I’m still mad at you’ I nodded.

‘that’s ok at least I can hold you’ settling back down I kept my arms around her.

‘I’m still mad’

‘look I told you I didn’t want you to go and you did anyway you never listen to me’ I answered softly the same answer I’d been giving to her for a while now every time he brought her back she had different memories from different times. I knew we had just broken up in her eyes because she had almost got herself killed. ‘can you blame me for being mad?’

‘look it was just a job’ she answered with a roll of her eyes.

‘a job that almost got you killed’ I answered through clenched teeth as I pinned her to the bed gathering her wrists in my hand I held them above her head. ‘stop talking about it your starting to piss me off even more and I was starting to forget it. then you went and brought it up again.’

Blinking she gave a whine as she struggled against my hold. ‘you’re a jerk’

‘and you’re a bitch’ glaring she snorted.

‘dick face’

‘cunt licker’ I shot back making her narrow her eyes.

‘Cum guzzler’ ok she got me this time and but the look in her eyes I knew she knew she got me.

‘damn it babe you know that one always stumps me’ I gave a whine but gave her a kiss when she puckered her lips to me.

‘your still a cum guzzler’ she muttered against my lips.

She was kissing him, Bentley but from the look in her eyes and her sense of thought I knew it wasn’t really Sophia acting out what they were doing. Just kissing but still it hurt. Walking into the training room I found Tanner pushing 500 his face was red his body sweaty he’d been in here for a whole day. Shit I really upset him.

I came to tell him what I could see but I decided not to. If it tore me up I knew it would hurt him more. Turning on my heels I left him there benching. Rubbing my chest I have a deep little groan as I found myself in my room, not my room his house I’m just a guest. Darcy was here to but he never slept damn that man. Lex and Evan was here to Sophia’s friends. We were all looking for her taking turns with the searches. Right now it was theirs if they caught on to anything they would call us and tell us were they were.

‘Fuck, fuck, fuck,fuck!’  I hissed as Evan grabbed me by the tops of my arms stopping me from stomping off.

‘calm down damn it’

Snarling at him he snarled back at me and snapped his fangs in my face. My growls faded into a low hiss as he inserted his nails into my arms making me come to a still stiff posture.

‘Damn Lex we all want to get Sophia back but, you cant go around killing people because they cant answer your questions.’ He growled into my face his breath smelled minty and carried the lingering scent of human blood. My stomach grumbled. Frowning he glanced between us. ‘you got to be shitting me’ he suddenly chuckled. ‘you haven’t fed for two weeks have you?’ looking away I looked down at my feet. ‘answer me’

‘how can I knowing my friend has something wrong with her she attacked her own mate and attacked Jordan come on Evan I cant fed when I’m worried like I am.  You know what will happen’ I frowned up at him.

Sighing he pulled away from me and licked his fingers. ‘your blood is bitter because of the stress your housing in your body’ he grabbed my hand and led me to the tent he had set up. Unzipping it he shoved me in. ‘undress now’ he ordered to me. glaring at him as he walked in he zipped it back up.

‘look you don’t have to do this’

‘your stress level is enough to kill you stupid’ he snapped as he shrugged out of his shirt and pants so that he was down to his boxers . ‘come on don’t make me force you do this’

Blinking I nodded slowly. Yes he was offering me “help” to help cope  with my stress but for a vampire as silly as it sounds stress can poison the body and cripple and kill you just like that.  Sighing I let him pull my shirt over my head and unclip my bra he tossed it aside.

‘you know I hate seeing you like this’ he muttered with a kiss.

Rolling my eyes I responded slowly. ‘then maybe you should just look the opposite way your just a feeder’ I muttered as his lips latched onto my hotspot on my neck jerking I gave a little whimper.    A feeder was a vampire that could take away raw emotions that could damage the body  he wasn’t like me the normal vampire that needed to feed to live. He needed the emotions of another vampire to survive without me he would die, and without him I would die. So I guess it was fate that I  was just a stressful worry wart of a vampire. I stressed about everything friends, family…mainly friends I love my friend and with Sophia gone it stressed me to know she was in the hands of the enemy. sure I didn’t know her for long but it didn’t take long for me to get to know her.

‘stop thinking about her while I’m kissing you’ he grumbled as he unbuttoned my pants he helped me get them off till I had nothing but my underwear on as well.

‘you’re a greedy bastard you know that?’

Chuckling he shrugged. ‘I tried to drink from a human again…my bodys rejecting it I haven’t fed sense Sophia was taken as well’ he looked down suddenly.

Growling I slapped him upside the head. ‘its my job to worry and not feed not yours not cool bro not cool’ I slapped him again only to get pinned down his hips bucked into me making me yelp out in shock when I slid forward across the mats. ‘shit’

‘don’t hit me’ his lips latched onto my neck making me suck in a shaky breath as I felt my tensed body slowly ease up and relax. The stress in my body slowly disappearing as he fed his lips hungry against my neck till I was shaking. My skin burned and it was almost unbearable but I knew he was feeling the brunt of it. Being naked helped cool you down while he fed if he didn’t I would be withering and screaming in pain while he fed.  But the pain, I didn’t mind it I was use to the pain the first time he fed from me  we didn’t know what would happen but we had ended up naked as the day we were born sprawled out to worn out to move.

‘Evan?’  I petted his hair when he lifted his head up his eyes weary as he collapsed on me.

‘ya?’

‘thank you’ I closed my eyes and let myself slip into sleep with his soft snoring I found myself in a peaceful state the first time these two weeks.

‘I should be thanking you Lex, if  you weren’t such a stressful bitch I’d of been did years ago’ he joked in a grumble.

‘guess we were meant to be friend?’ I muttered back half asleep as he was as he shifted lifting his weight off of me he grabbed my bra. Helping me into it I gave a little whimper when  I moved my body still sensitive.

‘I got you shhh’ he found my shirt and helped me wiggling my head through he supported my back with one hand and slid my arm through a hole then the other. Laying be back down he laid down beside me. ‘I got you shh go to sleep your still sensitive’

Smoothing my hair out of my face he gave me a kiss on my forehead as I closed my eyes letting myself slip into the comfort of sleep.

Groaning I sat up slowly feeling more alive as I grabbed my pants and put them back on getting out I looked at Evan who was leaning against a tree looking up at the moon. ‘you feel any better?’ he muttered as he glanced at me.

Nodding I rubbed my shoulder. ‘ya, thanks’

‘I already told you, you don’t have to thank me Lex the pain it puts you  thought makes it unfair for me to feed on you’ he frowned and rubbed his neck. ‘in that small cooler by your bag, I got you some blood’ he pushed away from the tree. ‘I’ll be back I’m gonna walk around’ nodding went to the cooler and opened it finding blood packs in there I picked up the first one and cut the top open opening my mouth wide I emptied it ending up getting some running down my chin as I swallowed in big gulps. Grabbing another one after I dropped the empty pack I cut the top off and tipped my head back opening my mouth again I took  greedy gulps. ‘you know your making such a mess’

Dropping the empty pack I went to lick my lips only to be stopped when Evan tipped my chin up licking the remaining traces off my skin. Sure he couldn’t live off of blood like I did but he enjoyed the taste like it was a rare fine wine. ‘hey I was gonna do that’

‘sure and your tongue can reach here?’ he tested as he licked up my neck making me growl.

‘jerk’

‘whatever’ he rolled his eyes.

Linley knew about us, and she didn’t care they had a bond but not like me and him did. We hadn’t told anyone but he was my soul mate, my other half we chose not to tell anyone mainly because it wasn’t their business. ‘love you’ smirking he gave me a quick kiss.

‘ya I know I love me to’ scowling at him I swatted at him. ‘hey do you really need me to tell you I love you? You should just know I do!’

Sighing I nodded slowly. ‘did you find any hints I know you went farther while I was asleep’

Rubbing the back of his neck he shakes his head. ‘no, I looked but I hadn’t found any trace I checked most of the old abandoned houses but still nothing’

‘well guess we should head back ?’

Shrugging he hooked his finger around my belt loop pulling me closer. ‘well we could you know he hinted wiggling his eyebrow at me making me laugh at him.

‘o you want some?’ he nodded as he gave me a soft kiss. ‘well it has been a while.’

Cecilia glanced over at me and shot me a cocky grin as she rubbed the blood up her face and through her hair. Something she must not have thought of because seconds later she was scowling at her hand and rubbing it against her jeans before trying to attack the vermin again. Chuckling she stepped away and ran towards me.

I’d have to admit her with blood on her looking deadly was sexy to me. ‘go take a shower you have blood on you’ rolling her eyes she nodded.

‘but we’re still gonna watch Young Gun’s right?’  she demanded before she left.

‘yes’ nodding she left quickly to take a rushed shower.

‘you know she should be training for the attack’ her father growled to me as he appeared next to me.

‘she’s ready, I’m not distracting her from anything’ I answered stiffly as I walked away from him to the bathrooms. Finding her already coming out with a sigh the bathroom steamy and humid as she glanced at me.

‘come to peek at me did you? Thought I’d come out naked right?’ she teased lightly as she skipped into the stall. Hearing the door lock I chuckled with a deep sigh.

‘hey’ glancing up at Lex and Evan I waved.

‘any luck?’

Lex’s smile dropped as she glanced at Evan. ‘I have to go take a shower’ she left quickly leaving me and Evan standing there in awkward silences.

‘we couldn’t find them, I don’t understand why though we’ve been almost everywhere’  he frowns

‘we haven’t been everywhere’

Blinking he looked at me with confusion. ‘I don’t understand but damn I’m tired…lets talk tomorrow ok?’ he walked away yawning and rubbing the back of his neck. I could understand why though. I’m down that they couldn’t find her yet. But hopefully soon she’d appear again…then I could just slap her back to normal. Not really I would never hurt her but I would make her remember us all.

‘you know you’re a dick’ looking up at Dustin I found him locking the door and walking towards me. swinging at me with a balled fist I caught his fist and sighed.

‘what the hell?’

‘all this time he’s been alive’ he bit out. ‘all this time and you never said a word to me’

Rolling my eyes I sighed. ‘I made him a promise I couldn’t tell’ I answered simply.

‘why?’

‘Charlotte Dustin, I warned him and he never listened till he got curious and he decided to frame his death. Turns out I was right about her and he was wrong instead of showing himself like he had originally planed he ended up learning things his powers are becoming stronger.’ I answered softly.

He jerked is hand away from mine. ‘you know you’re a jerk some days Tanner.’

The bed dip under his weight as he settled in behind me my back up against his chest as he gave a deep little sigh. ‘how goes it Lex?’

‘I’m tired, so tired’ I muttered softly as I cuddled closer. ‘I don’t know why though I feel drained.’

Rubbing my stomach he kissed my neck. ‘your bodies worn out don’t think I never noticed when you’d slip out of the tent to go look around you never slept for more then ten minute a night’ he reminded me.

‘I was quiet and you were snoring’

‘you’re my mate give me some credit damn it. I know when you do things.’ he growled out to me.

Flinching I wiggled around and turned to face him. ‘come on don’t say anything like that’ I muttered as I cupped his face in my hands. ‘its just I didn’t want to wake you’

Shaking his head he gave a miserable sigh. ‘you know being your mate is like having a job. Why do we even have to hid it anymore? Cant we just come out together? I’m tired of pretending around people I hate how guys look at you?’ he demanded.

‘If I’m just a job to you then why did you bother coming here?’ I grit my teeth as I tore away from him stumbling out of bed I locked myself in the bathroom and sank to my but as  I leaned against the door. He knew we couldn’t yet, my family wouldn’t mind but-but the person they had in mind for me to marry would. I knew he would object and want to duel for me. I didn’t want them to fight it was just easier and safer if we hid it. It hurt to hear he thought of me as a job. I never asked him to accept me he could of rejected me like my mom rejected her mate to marry someone else. Clenching my hands I buried my face in my knees with a whimper tears threatened to spill but I wouldn’t let them

‘Lex you know what I mean’ he whispered as he knocked on the door. I kept my mouth shut just trying to block out his chatter and lame excuses for hurting my feelings. ‘babe open the door I’m sorry’ he pleaded . ‘you know I love you  open the door Lex come on I didn’t mean for it to come out that way’

‘you know why we cant Evan we agreed this would be the best way because we can still be together. I don’t want him to hurt you’ I whispered. ‘I cant believe you said it though’ sinking lower till I was laying on my back on the floor.

‘You know I didn’t mean it that way come on open the door let me make it up to you’ he whispered softly.  Scooting away from the door I reached up and opened it. The door opened and he walked in glancing down at me he gave a groan. ‘shit , I’m sorry’ squatting down he pulled me into his arms and stood up. ‘don’t cry, please don’t cry’

‘don’t’ I pushed his hands away making him groan.

‘shit don’t, don’t you go into that damn shell of yours’ he growled out to me as he laid me down on the bed. Pushing my hair away from my neck he flashed his fangs to me. glancing away I knew I wasn’t in the mood to mess around he had hurt me, it hurt to know what he thought about me as a mate. Call me childish but I had a right to be this upset with him.

Cupping my face in his hand he made me look into his eyes.

‘I love you’ my lips quivered as he whispered to me his lips brushing my forehead. ‘I love you’ he repeated again as he kissed the corner of my lips ‘I love you’ he kissed the other corner of my lips. ‘I love you’ it was hard to stay upset with him when his lips pressed against mine swells of emotions filled me as my arms like the traitors they were wrapped around his neck pulling him closer to me. I wanted to teach him a lesson but I couldn’t stop myself from responding to his kiss.

Sighing I chewed on my bottom lip as he held me tight. ‘I don’t like you mad at me you’ve been quiet for a hour. Tell me you forgive me’

‘I forgive you ok?’’ I muttered as I kissed his chin. ‘just got things on my mind that’s all’

‘what you thinking about?’ looking up at him I shrugged. ‘come on your thinking of something important let me in please?’ he whined with a cute whimper.

‘what happened to Sophia? I mean I know she was taken but why did she attack Zachary and not recognize him? And Jordan did you see what happened to him? Sophia’s scent was all over that arrow’

Flinching he looked away. ‘I don’t know but Melody went with him to help find out how to fix Sophia’

‘Ya and soon, because Tanner’s close to losing it. He’s been training for a long time now.’ I muttered with a frown.

‘I know what you mean, did you see those circles under his eyes? I’m getting the vibe that he’s avoiding their room because it reminds him that she’s still gone.’ He whispered softly. ‘I cant blame him I’d be the same way if I ever lost you’ his arms tightened around me holding me to his chest.

***so thats why Bentley is hitting on Cecilia...hmmm that explains it all...

***and Lex? OMG did anyone see that coming? hehehe hope you liked that twist i was thinking really hard for those to i was thinking about making them brother and sister but...i thought i shouldnt because the whole secret soul mates thing is soooooo coool!!!
