Chapter 28

:Nikko/Tanner/Sophia

That spell ended up being one of the strongest memories spells that I’ve ever broken. Which made me conclude that it was because there were two witches behind the spell which would explain the amount of energy it took to break the spell. As I was breaking the memory spell I was also trying to break the ancient spell on her but I couldn’t as I looked down at the two lovers holding each other in their sleep I smiled.

To be young and in love.

Sighing I rolled my shoulders as I took a seat next to them as the boy stirred instantly starting to growl at me. ‘hush boy’  blinking he looked down at the girl and smiled.

‘it wasn’t a dream’ he held her tight in his arms ‘she’s really here’ watching her stir she glanced up at him.

‘Hey’

‘I’ll leave you to alone’ I nodded as I left quietly.

Smiling up at me Sophia pressed her lips to mine.

‘Hey baby’ brushing her hair out of her face I felt her shift around moving closer with a yawn. She’s safe, back to normal her eyes no longer looked cold and filled with malice and I could hear her sweet voice. My heart was racing my body on fire with need as she gave me a kiss. Her lips sweet and soft as she moved them against mine.

‘I had a bad dream’ she whispered softly with a frown. ‘such a bad dream’ she whimpered to me with quivering lips. Holding her tighter as she broke into tears I rubbed her back. ‘I hurt you Tanner…I hurt you’ she whimpered to me.

‘hush it was just a dream, just a dream’ I muttered to her as I rubbed her back trying too sooth her. She remembered? Did she think that it was all a dream?

‘it was so real though Tan,’ she groaned as she looked up at me with tortured eyes. ‘there was so much blood…so much blood’ her lips quivered and her eyes turned reddish. ‘I cut you here’ she put the palm of her hand were she had stabbed me in the room.  ‘and here’ her hand moved to my arm. ‘and here’ her hand cuped my left cheek as she slid her thumb over my bottom lip. ‘It hurt me so much to have to see it…I couldn’t stop I tried to stop but I couldn’t something was holding me back forcing me to keep hurting you an-an then you fell’ her voice began to break and waver. ‘I attacked Zachy too…but he fought back’ she shakes her head and buries her face into my neck. ‘in my head I kept thinking why weren’t you fighting back with each hit, with each splash of blood I kept screaming for you to fight back.’ She whimpered into me neck her hot breath sending shiver through me as I bit down on my bottom lip. ‘you never fought back Tanner…it I could have killed you but you just said you didn’t care that you didn’t want to hurt me’ she looked up into my eyes and rolled me onto my back with her on top. ‘if I ever attack you, I want you to attack don’t let me hurt you Tanner you fight damn it you don’t let me hurt you, I’m demanding you to’ she growled out through clenched teeth.

Blinking I reached up at cupped her face in my hands. ‘Sophia you could hurt me all you want but I will never lay a finger on you to hurt you I couldn’t do that. It was just a dream anyways don’t let it bother you’ I whispered to her in a honest voice. ‘what your asking me I cant give you the answer you want sweetheart. I could never bring myself to fight back’

Pulling her face down to me I pressed my lips to hers.

‘YOUR ok!’ pulling away from her she glanced at the door. ‘OMG we were so worried!’ Lex groaned as she pulled Sophia right off of me and held her tight in a hug.

‘Lex don’t break her’ I grumbled with a frown.

‘why wouldn’t I be ok?’ Sophia mumbled with a frown as she glanced over at me for help.

Gulping I licked my lips. ‘well Sophia, after I came back to the room for you when the fight cleared up you were in the bathroom passed out. You’ve been asleep for a couple of days’

She made a “o” face. ‘I don’t remember taking a shower’

‘you weren’t taking a shower, I don’t really know what happened but I’m glad your ok you had me worried baby’ I muttered as I sat up all the way.

Pulling away from Lex she came back to bed and curled into my side her body tucked close as she eyed Lex. ‘is that why we’re not in our room?’

‘ya’ I lied with a smile as Lex glanced at me. ‘Would you like to go back to our room now?’ nodding quickly she hopped up and stretched leaning all the way back with her hands above her head with a deep moan. I’d never seen  her crack her back that way so I just watched her with my head cocked to the side as she leaned down touching her toes.

‘ok Sophia whats up? You don’t do that’ Lex demanded.

Glancing at her she raised an eyebrow. ‘ya I do’

‘hey Sophia how about you go to the room I have to get something from my office’ nodding she left me and Lex there. ‘I have a feeling Cecilia’s memories are lingering in her, but it was a dream to her the attacks and everything. Right now we’re going with her passing out in the bathroom you hear me?’ she nodded her eyes on the open door. ‘but I think its just her reflexes I mean she was taken over by a hunters spirit so maybe she picked up some skills or something’

‘probably hunters reflexes and memories would be kick ass.’ Lex grinned up at me. ‘let me train her’

Shaking my head I frown. ‘no way’ leaving her I trailed after her seeing her take a turn down a hallway. The hallway that led to the room we had been locked in. Running I grabbed her arm pulling her back to my chest as I pressed a kiss to her neck. ‘were you think your going baby?’

Grunting she wiggled against me till she was facing me her eyes lingering on my lips as her arm slid between us to wrap around my neck. I liked how her body arched on her toes to press closer her lips brushing against mine sending tingles of heat through me as I tightened my arms around her lifting her up as I backed her towards a wall her body came into contact with the wall as I skimmed my hands up her sides making her gasp and bit down on her lip her eyes fluttered back as her body arched. ‘just walking’ she muttered when I gripped her thighs parting them I hooked them on my hips till they tightened on their own around me. Her body felt amazing her scent engulfing me making me groan in pleasure it had been a month and a handful of days sense I’d been able to be near her to soak in her warm to soak in her breathing.

It soothed me to have her this close as I rested my forehead to hers breathing slowly I felt her trail her hands up my back becoming inpatient that I wasn’t doing anything. But could you blame me? Not to long ago she was attacking me calling me a beast. But in her eyes I could tell she was fighting back against the urge and her dream opened my eyes.

She had given herself to me trusting me with her heart and I was grateful. ‘Tanner whats wrong?”

Opening my eyes I pulled back and gave a smile. ‘you scared me Sophia, you scared the death out of me I thought I was going to lose you and that made me fearful’ I muttered honestly

‘look I probably just fainted that’s all’ she shrugged it off as she tightened her legs around me pulling me tighter to her. ‘kiss me Tanner’

‘Ya kiss her Tanner’ bracing my hands on either side of her head I glanced over at Zach as he walked towards us his hands in his pockets with a cigarette dangling between his lips. ‘cuz Evan and I would love to watch’ he growled out sarcastically.

‘What are you doing here?’ Sophia frowned at him. ‘Tanner your aware that’s Zach right?’

Chuckling I unwrapped her legs from around my waist and set her on her feet as I took a step back. Running my hand through my hair I looked back at him. ‘he was worried about you to when I found you in the bathroom I figured the least I could do was let him come see if you were ok he’s been staying in a guest room’

‘SOSO your awake!’ Darcy shoved past Zach and came barreling towards Sophia scooping her up into his arms and twirling her around.

‘be carful your going to hurt her!’ I protested with Zach complaining about it with me. taking the opportunity I grabbed his arm an shoved him into the first door that was unlocked. A closet.

‘what the hell man?’

‘Sophia doesn’t remember being taken ok? So just go with the story. I found her in the bathroom passed out she’s been asleep for a while and you’re here to make sure she’s ok.’ hearing a knock on the door it opened slowly and Sophia peeked in.

‘your not cheating on me are you?’ she teased lightly with a curled smile. ‘because as hot as it sounds I’d be really upset with you Tanner’ her voice grew firmer.

Walking out I pulled her to my chest. ‘I’m not gay and you don’t have to worry about me cheating because you’re the only female in my life’

‘Tanner’ glancing up I looked at Jordan who was panting. Jez cant we get a break? I just wanted to slip into our room lock the door and enjoy being with my girlfriend. But with Zach, Evan, and Darcy all trying to get her attention I had a feeling I wouldn’t get any alone time any time soon. ‘Charlotte’

‘what about her how did the operation go?’

‘she lost the baby’ his voice died. ‘the baby…’ he groaned. ‘shit my baby, my baby boy’ he rubbed his face.

‘Charlotte? You mean the mean woman?’ Sophia glanced up at me curiously. ‘what happened to her? Why’d she need an operation.’

‘she was attacked by a hunter’ Evan grumbled as he shoved his hands in his pockets.

‘Zach put that damn thing out if you singe my carpets’ I snapped as he flicked the ash away.

Rolling his eyes Sophia pulled away and slapped him. Which I thought was fitting seeing how he had cheated on her multiple times while she was in my care. ‘PUT IT OUT’ the words were bitten out cold and collective reminding me of Cecilia when she had yelled at me.  She drew her hand back and went to slap him again only to stop when he tossed it to the ground and stepped it out.

‘you didn’t have to hit me you’ve already done that enough’ he sneered through clenched teeth. but his eyes told something else. Holding a longing in them as she returned to my side and held close as she glared at me. ‘your wish was complete you have made me hurt a 1000 times more then I have made you congrat’s Sophia’ he turned on his heels and left.

‘you know he didn’t mean that’ Evan grunted out when Sophia watched him with her mouth slacked. ‘we’ve all been pretty stressed Sophia we were worried about you. Hell Tanner never slept and Zach well he was running like the devil himself was after him.’

Blinking Sophia glanced up at me. I knew she was going to ask if she could go talk to him and honestly I wish she would just do something without asking me for permission it wasn’t like I didn’t trust her. But as much as I’d get jealous I’d let her talk to him I’d let her comfort him even if it hurt me because I know its hurting her to see him hurt even if she wanted it. ‘go talk to him’ I shrugged her off and pushed her towards him.

Nodding she took off running after him till she disappeared. Groaning I leaned against the  wall with a deep sigh as I looked at Evan.

‘thank’

Shrugging he smiled. ‘no problem he’s not to bad once you get to know him really, though Lex Still hates him’

‘I don’t know anymore Tanner, that baby would of brought me and-and Charlotte closer’ Jordan muttered as I walked to him pulling him into my arms I patted his back. ‘It was  a boy, I’d of liked a boy’ he groaned as his head rested in the curve of my neck. His tears left streaks down my skin as he sobbed. ‘they don’t even know if she’s going to make it.’

‘its time Tanner’ looking up at Darcy I gulped.

‘to tell the truth?’

He nodded. ‘Its time, I’ve waited and I’m tired of waiting he must pay for the deeds he’s done’ he whispered to me.

‘I need more time Darcy it’s to soon’ his eye softened.

‘your afraid of what she’d say about the things you have to say aren’t you?’  he whispered to me with a groan. ‘Fine I’ll give you more time but I wont wait for long things must be set right and you know it.’

Grabbing Zach’s arm I stopped him from getting any further. I wrapped my arms around his waist and held tight holding him like that with my cheek pressed against his back. ‘I’m sorry,’

Feeling him loosen up he put his hand over mine removing my hands he stepped away. ‘don’t’ he went to leave again. Throwing myself at him I practically knocked him off catching him off guard making us both fall to the ground with me landing on top of him.

‘I’m sorry, I shouldn’t of hit you’ I muttered as I hugged him closer. Shoving me off he crawled away.

‘look just leave me alone.’

‘why wont you let me apologize!? Your so pig headed! Your such a ass’ I snapped as I stood up. ‘god I should of just stayed with Tanner’ turning on my heels I began to walk away from him.

‘wait’

‘no leave me alone’ I muttered under my breath only to be pushed back against the wall pinned by Zach his hot breath fanned across my face making my knees shake. Yes I was with Tanner, yes I loved him with all my heart but. There was still this stupid mate bond between Zach and I that drew me to him making me want to kiss him. Locking my muscles I just tstared up at him.

‘I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have snapped the way I did I was out of place’ he whispered to me. Closing my eyes I listened to his ragged breathing as his face dropped into my neck were Tanner and kissed a while ago. ‘Its just I knew I would  be losing you to Tanner, but I didn’t mind because you’d still be alive and I’d still have a chance to get you back but to see you laying in that bed unconscious it scared me Sophia. To know that you could be dying and we couldn’t do a damn thing about it’ he groaned softly sending unwanted shivers down my spine.

His arms wrapped around me holding me against his body as he leaned into me hosting me up so that I was pressed against him. I wouldn’t wrap my legs around him because I knew were that would get me.

‘It scared me to think that I’d loose you. And Tanner’ he gave a soft chuckle. ‘he tried to hard to hid his pain but it was obvious, he wouldn’t sleep in that room he’d work out and run. He was worst them me.’ he groaned as he pulled his face away from me neck. Looking into my eyes I watched him closely.

‘C-cant you put me down now?’

Blinking glanced between us and smiled. Grunting in alarm when he pushed his hips forward in one single movement that made me clutch his shoulder.

‘Zach don’t do that’

‘why you liked it didn’t you?’ he challenged with a husky voice. Shaking my head I pushed him away.

‘no’ growling he stepped away from me letting me slid down the wall and onto my feet with a soft thump as I looked up at him. ‘that was wrong this is wrong. I’m with Tanner’

‘the same person you wanted dead’ his words sliced through my heart as I looked up at him with shocked eyes.

‘your lying I could never hurt Tanner, I love him’ I whispered with trembling lips.

‘Zach’ glancing down the hall and Tanner as he walked up to us. His voice was warning holding a threatening tone to him.

‘you may be willing to brush it aside but she still-’ Zach began to speak.

‘hold your tongue your out of line. If you cant keep your mouth shut and hands to yourself you can leave your not needed anymore Sophia is fine as you can see’ Tanner snapped his eyes growing darker.

Gulping I moved closer to Tanner scooting behind him.

‘she still could be-’

‘Nikko checked her and made sure she was ok, she was just dehydrated and didn’t have enough fluids in her. Beside shouldn’t we be worried about you? You’re the one brushing things under the rug Zach’ Tanner again  his voice hinting about something but whatever that mean stopped Zach from protesting only made him storm away from us as  Tanner intertwined our fingers together. ‘Come on Sophia lets go back to our room’

Sitting on the end of the bed I swung my legs back and forth Yoshiro was pacing around whining as Tanner showered. Zach had said I wanted Tanner dead. But that was a lie I could never want Tanner dead. I loved him and I wanted to spend my life with him. Maybe he was just doing it to make me come back to him.

Groaning I flopped back and squeezed my eyes shut. Could be what did he mean when he said that? And brush what aside? Was Tanner hiding something from me.

‘hey baby?’ opening my eyes I looked up at Tanner and let my eyes trail shamelessly down his stomach enjoying his body as he rolled his shoulders. Sitting up I reached for his hand and pulled him to me.

‘Tanner if I did something wrong you’d tell me right?’ nodding he gave me a kiss. His body felt good as he settled his weight on me his body pressed close as our lips mingled his tongue messaging mine as his hands gripped my hips as I pushed them into his making him stifle a groan  as I bit down on his bottom lip causing him to buck into me.

My body was on fire my blood boiled and my hands trembled as a moan slipped out between my lips when he rocked his hips into mine circling them against me moving them till my head spun and I began to get light headed. Pleasure consumed me as I tugged at his hair whimpering with need as I arched into him meeting his thrusts. ‘Sweetheart’ blinking I looked into his eyes that burned bright as he kissed my neck. ‘don’t’ he stilled my hands as I went to push down his sweatpants.

‘Tanner I want you, please Tanner’

Growling deeply he sighed as he went to pull away. ‘are you sure? You just woke up if you want to wait and get some rest’ he whispered to me.

Shaking my head I wrapped my arms around his neck. ‘I’m sure, I feel fine Tanner like I can run a mile and not get winded’ chuckling he gave me a kiss as he pulled away going to the dresser he opened it and pulled something out as he turned back to me. ‘I thought you said that it would be a slim chance that you could get me pregnant’

‘there is but I want you to be safe.’ He muttered softly. ‘I don’t want to accidently bring a child into this world. I mean I would love it because its our baby but your young we’re both young. I’m not saying I cant take care of the both of you but wouldn’t you like to finish school maybe go to college or something?’

He was so concerned about my future about how I would feel. But it  touched me to know he wasn’t some sleaze bag that was trying to get into my pants. Sighing I  shrugged. ‘I don’t really see myself becoming much Tanner’ grinning I sent him a wink. ‘but hurry up already if you don’t hurry I’ll find Zach to do th-’ tackling me I gave a little shriek when he began to purr into my ear sending shivers through me as I grunted when he held my hands above my head.

‘don’t you dare mention something like that’ his voice was deep with jealousy as his teeth tested the sensitive part of my neck. Man that really got him slightly aggressive. Id only been with Tanner that one time and it was sweet and gentle but to be honest I wondered what it would be like to have him be rough with me. ‘not when I’m with you Sophia’

Pulling back he let his hands trail down my sides making me bit my lip as I watched him trembling under his touch as he left sparks of heat. ‘I was just saying that if you cant handle this I’d’ he pinned me back down again his hips bucked into me sending me sliding up the bed trying to stay in place as he ground into me harder making me moan out in pleasure as his teeth nibbled on the lobe of my neck. ‘you little hussy you like this don’t you?’ he teased into my ear sending shivers through me my legs were shaky and I could feel myself getting wetter as I pushed my hips up pushing myself against him. He shaft was straining against his sweat pants as he ground into me his hips met mine making me whimper out in need.

‘Tanner, please’

Glancing between us he nodded slowly as he pulled away. Getting off the bed he went to the bathroom and locked the door making sure to let it “click” loudly. Giving a miserable sigh I slid off the bed and slipped out of my clothes I bet the last thing he’d think I’d do was this’ rummaging through the bag Lex had gave me I glanced at the silk black nightgown she’d given me saying it would “heat it up in bed” blushing at the netted breast area I bit my lip and took a deep breath as I slid into it. Well I guess I could try my hand at being a tease. Huffing as I glanced myself once over I tossed the underwear I had on off and grabbed the flirty uncomfortable pare. I would make him pay for leaving me hanging.

Laying on my side I ran my hand down Yoshiro’s back smiling as he licked my hand with a yip as Tanner finally came out of the bathroom the bed dipped under his weight and I could feel him move closer to me. I wanted to turn and face him but I knew I couldn’t give into my needs I would wait and make him want me then leave him hanging. Smiling a the thought as he kissed the side of my neck I turned the light off and faked a yawn. ‘Not now Tanner I got to go to sleep’

‘what do you mean you  have to go to sleep it’s a Friday you don’t have school’ he whined as he pulled me to his chest. Wiggling away I turned the light back on and got out of bed to move to the chair near the window.

‘I’m tired and you were right I should get some rest’ I continued to lie as I sat down and threw my legs over the arm of the chair as I stretched. ‘but maybe another time.’

He looked shocked but then he poked a finger at me ‘you!’ he hopped out of bed and walked to me. ‘I know what your doing! Woman!’ chuckling I stood up and ran my hand down his chest feeling his taunt abs with a smile as I kissed the side of his neck a tremor ran down his back.

‘I don’t know what your talking about Tanner’ I pulled away hiding my smile.

‘where the hell did you get that-that piece of cloth!’

Glancing over my shoulder I put one foot in front of the other it was a well known walk that made the hips sway from side to side I tried to look innocent but I could tell he was catching on quickly.

‘I’ve never seen that before, it-its sexy’ a deep blush covered his cheeks as I turned to face him. Blinking he let his eyes trail over me and to be honest I was shaking slightly because I wanted to run at him and beg him to take me, on the floor? I don’t really think that would turn out that good because I don’t want a rug burn… blushing at my thoughts I made my way back to be and covered up with another yawn.

‘night babe’ the word babe rolled off my tongue it was natural, as natural as my love for him was but a smile played my lips as I could hear him grumbling and whining about another cold shower.

‘Night baby’ he grumbled to me as I heard the bathroom door open.

I’d have to say for my first flirt I think I did a good job. But watching him watch me just made me want him more. Groaning I buried my face in the pillow only to let out a gasp when weight settled on my back.

‘thought I didn’t catch on did you’ turning I glanced into his eyes as a smile played on the edges of his lips. Giving me a kiss he rolled off of me and dragged me on top of him with a smile as he slid his fingers between mine. ‘you know your  a big tease getting me ready then shooting me down.’

‘you started it’ I grumbled with a blush.

‘well you had to mention Zach while I was trying to make love to you baby you cant mention him like that’

‘well it was just a joke’ I grumbled again avoiding his eyes.

‘a hurtful joke’ glancing into his eyes I bit my lip.

‘I didn’t mean to hurt you’

Sighing he sat up and rested himself on his elbows to kiss me. ‘I know you didn’t mean to but, I know that I’ll always come second place to him he is your mate after all’

‘your not second place in my heart Tanner’ I took his hand and put it over my heart. ‘my heart is mine to give and I give it to you’ man it sounded way cuter in my head…maybe I shouldn’t of said it.

His eyes softened as he gave me a kiss. ‘then I accept your heart and I give you mine in return sweetheart’ giving me another kiss I smiled into his eyes as I gave a little groan. He was so sweet to me, so loving so warm…

‘When I die’ I began slowly and I watched pain flicker in his eyes.

‘you wont’

I gave a sad little smile. ‘Tanner we both know I will die I am after all human, I wont live forever.’ Rolling over he scooted down and rested his head over my heart his body eased onto mine holding some of his weight as he grumbled.

‘I don’t want to think of it, we don’t have to think of things like that’  he whispered as he peered up at me. ‘please’

‘at least hear me out Tanner.’ Finally he nodded. ‘I want to be buried next to my mom and dad under the big weeping willow by the broke in my pack land’ I whispered softly. ‘and I want the same headstone as theirs’

Shaking his head he dragged himself up to me and kissed me. ‘I will but, your going to outlive me’ I shake my head at him. ‘yes you will and if we’re talking about places. I’d like to buried next to your family knowing that one day you’ll be by my side again’ he whispered softly and my heart tugged at his words and my heart began to putter skipping beats as I licked my chapped lips nodding slowly.

‘why?’

‘because I want us to be near each other but can we change the subject now its depressing thinking about death’ he grunted as he kissed the side of my neck.  ‘because I have other things on my mind’ running his tongue up my neck a tremor ran through me as he nibbled on my ear lobe.

‘Tanner’ sliding my fingers through his hair I gave a soft whimper of need.

‘I know, be patient’

Sighing softly I combed my fingers through his hair as he held me closer. ‘sweetheart why aren’t you asleep?’ glancing into his eyes I smiled softly with a sigh.

‘I don’t know’ I shrugged as I continued to run my fingers through his hair. ‘guess I’m just to happy to sleep Tanner’ I gave him a kiss on the forehead making him close his eyes as he held me tight.

‘well I see, but get some sleep sweetie’

Groaning I rolled my eyes as I closed my eyes. ‘I love you Tanner’

‘Love you too’ he muttered as he curled closer as he rolled onto his side with his arm around my waist. ‘love you too’ he repeated after a second.

I could get use to this…setting in I gave a soft little yawn.

And I was checking through the chapters and realized my spell check and myself hadn’t gotten all the screw up’s which upsets me some because I thought I had most of the screw ups fixed. So now I realized in the end when this story is finished I’m going to have to go through and fix ALL of it which will take a while. But its worth it J but thank you for still putting up with my screw ups…chow*****$kittle$*****

^one other thing….this up coming week updates will take a while because will be taking the ACT and right now we’re doing ACT prep. >.< omg kill me!! but I’m trying to keep writing on my spare time…^  0_0
