Chapter 3
:Sophia
Glancing at the waitress I glared as she paid to close of attention to Zachary.
"Honey what would you like to get?" He asked as I looked over the menu.
I chewed on my lip. "Can I get a cappuccino?"
He smiled as he leaned in and kissed me tenderly. I swayed to him blushing. "You don't have to ask for anything. We'll have two cappuccino's. Did you want caramel or chocolate?" he asked and all I did was shrug. Sighing he smiled again. "One of each flavor that way you can have a sample of mine to see what you like best" He locked eyes with me again. "As I was saying you will move in with me, we can look into refurnishing the place, everything came with that house anyways"
"You didn't have to get both"
He shrugged. "I've been gone for seven years." he paused. "I missed a lot, and have a lot to make up for. Whatever the pack told you wasn't true Sophia" He moved closer to me and wrapped a arm around my waist. "I will settle things with the Alpha for how you were treated under his care" he kissed me again.
"Why-why wasn't I able to talk to human girls?" I asked curiously. "boys-I can understand but why girls?"
" Because even girls looked at you the way a man would." He confessed. "Its rare for a wolf to be into the same sex but there were a few who did watch you to closely. Your mine" he let out. "And I didn't want them to get to close"
"Well if it isn't Sophia" I looked up quickly. "Hey soso" Darcy sat on the opposite side of us. "What you chose?" He asked curiously.
"We chose cappuccinos" I let out.
"Oh those are very good, I have one when I first got here. Don't try the pulled pork it is utter trash but the steak was good" He let out cheerfully.
Zachary tightened his arm around me and nuzzled my neck.
"No need to show your claim I already know she has a mate" Darcy sighed.
"Then don't talk to her as if she doesn't" Zachary let out.
"Be nice" I touched his hand as I looked up at him. "Hes just being nice"
"and here is your order" The waitress leaned over enough to flash her breasts more. "What can I get you master?" She asked Darcy with wide eyes.
"Whatever she ordered." Darcy waved her off.
She gave a pout and walked away sulking.
I eyed the two cups. "Zachary. Which one is mine?"
He chuckled. "We are sharing remember and whatever flavor you like best we can order another"
I beamed up at him. "Oh thank you"

"I will be right back" Darcy stood and left the table.
"I don't like him" He let out coolly his breath ruffling my hair as he nuzzled the top of my head inhaling deeply. A part of me curious if I smelled as good to him as he did for me.
"Hes nice to me"
"He want's something" Zachary let out bluntly. "People of his status don't just hang around the lower class for the hell of it. He wants something but I can't tell what" He stroked my arm. "I just don't want you to get hurt in all of this, so promise me you wont be alone with him"
I peeked up at him and nodded not wanting to argue.
He sighed and gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"Why are we mates if I am a human?" I asked lightly as I fiddled with my shirt.
"I can't say why we are mates. All I know is when you were attacked I was one of the wolves there on the scene. I was the one who took you out of that house" he whispered softly. "My wolf told me you were mine, you were so small and so scared" I shuddered at the thought. "At night when I close my eyes I see that little girl in my dreams. And remember how you latched onto me"
Shivering at the memories. It had all been fuzzy but I remembered it now. His wolf had been so gentle with me nuzzling me out from under the bed and shifted before me and held me in his arms. How he had chased away the shakes of fear. "You were the one"
He nodded. "I had almost lost my mate before I ever met them. I was on a run, later then usual things kept coming up I had to keep pushing it back. I guess it was fate intervening for us" he rubbed my arm. "But I also knew I would put you in danger. And I didn't want that. My wolf wanted to mark you and mate you even then. I couldn't bring myself to do such a thing which is why I kept you away."
"Well aren't you two so deep in thought" Darcy slid a large box onto the table and to me.
"Whats that" I moved away to eye it.
"For you"
I looked at him with wide eyes and went to grab it.
"Just be careful"
I stopped myself from yanking it open in a rush and looked over at Zachary to see if it was okay. He gave nod and I grinned. Tearing off the lid I let out a yelp of shock as a mass of tan fur jumped out at me and a warm wet tongue licked at my face.
"Ack-what the-what is this" I cried out as I gripped the small wiggling body and held it away from me. Large dark brown eyes stared back at me as the creature squirmed like a wiggly worm its tongue lolling out the side of its mouth.
"A puppy," Darcy stated. "Its a Pomeranian she wont get to big about 10 pounds at the most, I know you said how lonely you have been with everything in your pack. Now you wont be alone even when your mate is away on business affairs."
I squealed as I cradled the puppy to my chest and giggled as she licked and pawed at me. "Whats her name?"
"She doesn't have a name, its up to you" He slid a golden locket to me.
"Whats that for" He shrugged and I glanced over at Zachary before looking down at the puppy. "What should I name her?"
"Anything you want honey" Zachary smiled.
"MoMo?" I murmured to myself. I watched as she rolled to her back and wiggled around tongue lolling. "Star? Lacey?" I paused. "Yoshiro?" She sat up yipping. "Yoshiro it is" I peeked up at Zachary before peeking over at Darcy. "Thank you so much Darcy"
"It was nothing really"
"Very swell" Zachary snorted. "But we should get going"
I peeked over at him. "We do?"
He nodded.
"I had it arranged for a maid to come and take Yoshiro out for a walk during the night and in the morning while you stay" Darcy explained as Zachary slid some money on the table.
"Thank you" I cradled her to my chest as I took the hand Zachary offered and lead me away from the table. "I've never had a puppy before" I noted as we got to our room. "What on earth do you feed them anyways?"
"Dog food I suppose" he shrugged as he released my hand and moved away. I watched the way he moved so gracefully not making a sound. I was captivated as he started to undress tossing his coat to the side and working on the buttons of his shirt I felt my mouth run dry as he looked up at me and paused.
I looked away quickly feeling embarrassed.
"Do you like what you see?" He asked in a husky voice.
Blushing I went and sat on the bed silently to embarrassed.
"You don't have to be ashamed of looking at me honey. We're mates, there is no wrong in admiring one another" his voice was closer causing me to jump and look up at him finding him eye to eye with me he leaned in and kissed me softly before straightening, :Make sure you lock the door I'm going to shower"
I nodded silently as he walked away I put Yoshiro down and eyed the large claw foot tub in the corner of the room. I walked over and started it filling it with steaming hot water and using a bath fizzy bomb they had before stripping and slipping in.

"Sophia?" An alarmed voice spoke. I groaned and went to push the hand away only to feel cold water slosh up my nose. I shot up coughing and sputtering I looked around in a daze. My eyes locked onto Zachary who was half naked with a towel around his waist. "Come on lets get you out of there its ice cold" he frowned as he shifted leaning down he lifted me out of the water I blushed and covered myself.. "You shouldn't sleep in a tub"
"I don't plan to" I yawned. "It was just so warm and relaxing" I muttered softly as he led me to the bathroom I blushed even harder when I realized he'd lost his towel I kept my eyes up as he pressed me to him.
I shivered when I felt his skin against mine his hand rubbing my back. "You scared me, you were almost blue" he frowned as he reached in and turning on the hot water he tested it before putting me down and stepping back. "Don't fall asleep again" he teased lightly before leaving me there.

"Damn dog" Zachary cursed as I stepped out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. I looked at him with a raised brow as he put Yoshiro on the ground. "It will not be sleeping on the bed with us" He let out in frustration. "She wont let me touch your pajama pants"
Blinking I looked down at the tiny ball of fur at my feet that was pawing at my ankles that was wiggling like crazy with a large smile and tongue lolling out the side of her mouth. "Don't you listen to him your a good puppy" I cooed as I walked to my bag and lifted it up and found my underclothes. Shimmying them on under the towel I blushed when he handed me my tank top.
"Not a good puppy" he corrected when he got growled at. I slid the tank top on and let the towel drop. "Your mine not hers"
"She's a dog , you cant be jealous of a doggie" I laughed when he pulled me onto his lap I blushed.
"I cant help it I just got you I don't want to share you" he grumbled as he flopped back pulling me with him I wiggled around to face him. "I just got you back" he muttered as he looked deep into my eyes.
I rested my forehead to his. I gave a little sigh when he held me closer. The way our bodies fitted like puzzle pieces I groaned and wondered what it would be like to feel his skin against mine again. How it would feel to have his lips roaming over my skin.
Pressing his lips to mine I gave a little gasp. Slipping his tongue into my mouth I stiffened slightly as his tongue stroked mine, the warmth and sweet flavor on his mouth was thrilling and sent jolts of lust and fear through me causing me to moan softly.
Growling his fingers knotted in my hair holding me there as his mouth moved with mine, deepening the kiss as his other hand ran along my side and up again as he traced his fingers under my breast before cupping my breast I gasped and jerked away in shock.
Blinking he pulled away and lightly pushed me off I fell back into the bed panting.
"Its okay- I'm not going to hurt you I didn't mean to go that far" he let out quickly as he shifted and hovered over me. He gave me a tender kiss. "I'll never force you to do anything your not ready for honey. How about we just stay like this for a little" he laid back and pulled be beside him as he combed his fingers through my hair.
I felt my heart settle and my breathing return to normal. With my head on his chest I listened to his heart and relaxed even more.
Yoshiro gave an impatient bark.
"I hate that dog" he let out with a huff.
"I like her" I peeked up at him. "I think all she wants is up on the bed. She's lonely"
"Target practice" he teased. "I told you she wont be on the bed" He reminded. "Just-sleep now let me hold you its late"
"but I'm not tired can't we just stay like this?" I asked as I traced my finger tip over his toned chest watching goose bumps rise as I did his breathing changed when I traced over his nipple I jumped when he growled.
"Don-Don't do that sweet heart" I peeked up at him and watched as his eyes darkened and his wolf appeared. "My wolf wont let me stop this time, if you do that" Catching on to his throaty voice I shivered and pulled my hand away and curled closer to him.
With the temperature in the room low the room was chilled but against him with his arm around me I didn't notice.
"Tell me about yourself Sophia I want to know more about my little mate"
"Well there isn't much to tell" I admitted. "You already know my age. I guess I'm good at Social Studies and English. I can't do math to save my life. And you are one of the only males I have ever been around" I paused. "And Darcy is my first friend"
"friend?" I felt him tense. "Honey he is the Prince"
"I know" I paused. "But he is nice to me and he lets me call him by his name and he gifted Yoshiro to me isn't that friends?"
"Friends are more then nice to you, they are there for when you need them." he answered softly. "He's-his reputation would not be good for you"
I gave a huff and rolled away from his warmth and moved up the bed to the pillows. Feeling him shift he slid up behind me and pressed against me his arms around me.
"We have each other now,"
Ii slid my hands over his hesitantly. "We'll be together forever right? " I asked timidly.
"Forever" he promised his breath fanning over my neck.
I gave a sigh of relief and yawned softly while rubbing my eyes. " I wish-I wish I was like you so I could stay the same" I muttered with a frown.
"Don't you say that, your perfect the way you are" He let out firmly. I turned my head to face him before looking away again.
"I'm not pretty like the woman of the pack, I don't have mile long legs or straight blonde hair-or a tiny body" I groaned feeling helpless as I voiced my insecurity's to him.
He growled and I gasped when he turned me to him easily. "True your not pretty" tears swelled at his words. "Your beautiful, I wouldn't want anything to change about you Sophia. Do you hear me" He kissed my forehead. "I love you" he whispered softly.
"How-can you love me after one day"
"I have been in love with you sense I laid eyes on you. From the very moment my wolf told me you were my mate I knew" He answered confidently. "Tomorrow I have a job to do, I will have to take you home but you have to swear to me you will not open that door for no one but me" he asked.
I looked at him through the tears and nodded.
"Good" he brushed away the tears before kissing me softly. "I want you safe, I don't want to loose you"
"I understand" I rubbed my eyes. "Should I have dinner cooking for you-I use to do it every night for the pack" I asked softly.
He blinked in shock and held me to his chest tightly. "Oh you don't have to do that anymore" he groaned. "You can take it easy and order take out when I get back" he sighed. "Spend the day watching tv or surfing the internet"
"Internet" I perked. "Cant I make a facebook account? I've heard so much about it and it sounds fun"
"You can do anything you want make a face book account. Makes friends, just-no boys. I hate the way they look at you" he muttered.
"Not all of them are like that" I noted.
" I will try to control myself if that makes you happy" he grumbled as he propped his head up with his arm. "You know I think I will take you shopping, It will be on me you can bank away all you money , you'll get an allowance every week to do with as you wish"
"You don't have to do that" I rushed.
"I know but I will" he shrugged and gave me a dazzling smile. "So let me love you"
Blushing I looked away. "How can you love me when you don't know anything about me-" I asked curiously.
"The thing is-my wolf knows. He tells me things about you. Like your favorite color is green, you enjoy your ramen in a burrito style. When you get nervous and chew on your bottom lip a lot" His eyes locked onto mine. "I know you like the back of my hand" he mummered. "I know you like a warm water press on your stomach to help with the cramps" Glaring at him I blushed. "I know you get very snappy when your on it to" he chuckled. "You punched Serena in the face for calling you a low life mutt"
"h-How do you know all of this" I stuttered.
"Because even though I was never with you I always had someone watching over you telling me about you, Taking care of you when you needed it"
I blinked in shock. "So wait-Deb-she was-she was only nice to me because of you"
He shook his head. "No-she was nice because she is just that type of person, but she did it for me as well" he answered. "I also know you had the biggest crush on Channing Tatum because of that stupid movie Magic Mike"
I paled and looked down. "It-it was a very good movie" I stuttered. No one was supposed to know that , I had broke the rules even watching that move.
He gave a growl and I shivered as he pushed me onto my back and rolled onto me I gasped when he parted my thighs settling between my hips my legs around his.
"What are you-doing" I stuttered.
He gave a chuckle as he lowered his body against mine and I gave a gasp and a little uncertain whimper as I felt everything. He gave a deep rumble in his chest. "Shhh- I wont hurt you" his voice throaty and husky I groaned softly when he kissed me softly he gave a sigh.
His hand skimmed up my side and cupped my breath I threw my head back with a startled gasp. "Um-you-your touching my-" I shuddered when his hand flexed and I whimpered.
His eyes flickered to his hand and he blinked before rolling off I laid there panting my heart racing I attempted to control my body it wasn't listening. I was filled with so many feelings.
"Do you know what comes with mating" I blinked at his words as nodded as I chewed on my lip. "Are you sure?"
"I-I don't know Deb always skipped the bad parts." I admitted.
He gave a chuckle as I rolled onto my stomach hiding my face in the pillows. I was embarrassed.
"My little mate" He whispered as I felt his hand comb through my hair. "I understand-don't be ashamed"
I peeked at him "Your-not mad?"
He shook his head. "No-I'm not mad. I didn't know that much. " he admitted. "You have questions, in time I will answer them when your ready."
