Chapter 32

:Sophia/Jordan

Sobbing I ran back to Tanner dropping to my knees I chanted his name but he couldn't hear me. 'Tanner o god no, please open your eyes' I begged my tears falling into his face as I put pressure on the bite Zach had given him. 'No Tanner, no' I whimpered out as I stood up his blood was making my hands cold as I looked at Zach in fear and hate as he stepped towards me. Tanner's blood was smeared on his lips his eyes dark.

'Sophia' his voice ragged making me sick.

'I HATE YOU!' lunged at him right hook taking him by surprise he jumped back dropping down I kicked his legs out from under him tackling him down I slammed my fists into his chest, face aiming for his nose but he wouldn't stop moving as he caught my wrists in his hands sobs racked through me. 'I hate you,'

Glaring at him as he shoved me off he grabbed me by the back of my neck as everything went black I could feel something being wrapped around my wrists. 'none of this would of happened if you had stayed with me Sophia' he growled out. Whimpering out in fear I let myself slack dropping down to my knees.

'TANNER!' I cried out in a vain attempt for help. But no one had came...Tanner...

Biting at his hand as he untied the gag he flinched and continued to untie me. 'I warned you Sophia and you didn't listen I warned you' he repeated for the fifth time.

'I hope you rot in hell' I spat at him as soon as my hands were untied I slapped him across the face.

'you don't mean that' he whispered calmly.

'I mean every word'

Growling he slipped his hand into my hair jerking my face up to his as he glared into my eyes. 'no you don't and I can prove it.' his lips smashed down into mine trying to get a response I held my lips stiff refusing to give him access. My body slowly betrayed me and my heart tore in to as I responded to his kiss tears streamed down my face. Please for give me my love. I thought to Tanner. My stomach flipped. Tanner... he'd been in such bad shape when Zach dragged me away.

Finding the strength I shoved him away from me. 'I hate you'

'your body says other wise our bond is to strong for that. But that doesn't matter because by the end of tonight I will have mated with you and marked you. Tanner will mean nothing to you after that'

Whimpering out as Zach picked me up I hated how his hands slipped under my butt cupping it drawing me closer to his erection that brushed against me. 'stop' I whined as I plated my hands on his chest trying to push him back.

'Sophia this will happen' he sighed as he let me go. Stumbling away from him I backed away.

'I'm pregnant' I whispered to him watching his face turn into anger.

'lies!'

I shake my head. 'the condom broke'

'that bastard' he hissed his eye landed on my stomach with distaste, rage, with a dark look in them that scared me.

I slid my hand over my stomach trying to look protective the look in his eyes scared me as I let out a whimper my hands cupping my small stomach that showed no bump or any evidence of a infant inside me. But he didn't seem to notice that my stomach had not changed in the least when in fact it would look smaller because of all the weight lose . 'Its my baby' I whispered in a torn voice making his face twist in pain and frustration. As if the fake child within me would ruin his plans and change everything. 'I'm keeping the baby' I said firmly as I backed away from him still holding my stomach close. Maybe just maybe with the "baby" in the picture he will want nothing to do with me. Maybe he will throw me aside sense Tanner defiled my body with his touch and his scent.

'that-that's ok' his voice stuttered. 'we can get through that baby' he whispered softly as he looked away from me as if he was thinking the whole situation over. NO that was not what you where suppose to say! I almost groaned. What would  I have to do to get him to hate me?

I shake my head with tears streaming down my face at the thought of not seeing Tanner again. O god what happened to him is he alive? Will he make it. I cringed as I remembered and looked down at my hands stained with dried blood my clothes stained I whimpered out.  'Tanner's the father I want Tanner to raise the baby with me' I whimpered out making him growl.

'You're my mate Sophia ! Not his!' he snapped suddenly standing closer to me as he pinned me against the wall his hot breath blew into my face. 'Now I've been patience, I waited thinking you'd come around but you didn't I let you sleep with that monster I let you get away with a lot of things. but I will not stand for it anymore Sophia!'  he growled out in a deep and demanding tone, his anger was vibrating through it all. Shrinking back I gave a little whimper of fear

'do-don't hurt me' he drew away from me like I'd slapped him. 'please don't' I begged covering my face with my hands a soft sob slipping from between my lips.

'I could never hurt you Sophia' he whispered out softly in a tender tone. But I couldnt look at him, Tanner's blood was smeared on his face and stained his shirt. How could I look at him after I watched him tear into Tanner like a vicious animal.

Tears streamed down my face as I looked at him. 'you don't understand...you've hurt me countless times Zach'

He lunged at me crushing his lips to mine his body pressing into mine moving his hips I gave a whimper of fear as I slowly responded his lips skimmed down my neck. The smell of blood made my stomach twist in knots.

Gasping out I squirmed. 'Tanner!' I groaned out feeling myself flinch as he reeled back with torn eyes. I could tell it hurt him that I cried out for Tanner and I held no shame in my actions that caused him pain.

'I'm not you Tanner and you better remember that' he bit out as he turned on his heels slamming the door closed as I heard it lock.

'no please!' I begged as the witch shoved the goblet to my lips. 'NO!' I snapped my lips shut stopping the ucky liquid from breaching my lips spilling down my chin onto my shirt I squirmed her friend pinched my nose shut as I squirmed my lungs burned I needed to breath.

'Sophia just drink it' Zach pleaded from across the room worry across his face. I hated him I knew that drink would make me forget Tanner and the love I felt for him. I didn't want that. Giving out I gasped for air only to have the helper tip my head back as I gasped coughing as the witch dumped the goblet out into my open mouth coughing and spitting most of it out I felt warmth slid over me.

'she didn't take it all so it wont be as powerful as you requested but she wont feel anything' the witch smiled at me before leaving the room as I glanced over at Zach.

'How do you feel' glaring at him I stood up my knees shaking as I took a step forward crashing to the ground he picked me up. 'shouldn't move just yet.'

Groaning I glanced around the room my body ached as I sat up finding Zach beside me his bare chest revealed the sheets barley covered his hips.  He smelled good, his body was soft and heat rolled off of him. Stretching he peeked at me. 'how you feel?'

Yawning I licked my chapped lips. 'my tummy hurts.' I muttered softly rubbing my stomach that churned and twisted.

Sitting up he kissed me. 'just nervous  that's all its normal for a future bride to get nervous, sense we've only got two more days' he smiled warmly at me with twinkle in his eyes. Something in me jerked my heart hurt but I couldnt tell why, maybe it was heartburn.

Thinking I mulled it over. Married? In two days? To Zachary? Sighing softly I tackled him sliding my body over his as I positioned myself comfortably on him. 'when did you propose to me?' I asked curiously as I traced patterns on his chest my eyes locked on his from moment to moment.

'I shouldn't have you you're my mate Sophia' he chuckled as he leaned up and kissed me. 'we're meant to be together' he stated firmly with a grin

I looked at him with a small smile and a strange warm feeling washed over me as I watched his smile. 'Yes, we are..."

'Damn it breath!' I hissed out to Tanner as I paced the doctors were struggling to get him to stay alive he'd almost flat lined five times. Sophia was missing and I had a idea of who it was. His scent was all over the room, all over my brother, it stunk of him. Zachary had made his move and I hadn't thought of him killing Tanner. Sighing in relief at the sound of a proper but weak rhythm of his heart I stopped pacing.

'Darcy what is it?' I  asked curiously as I stood next to Zach my hand in his the ring on my finger felt awkward and out of black as I watched him pace back and forth I peered up at my future husband.

'Darcy?' Zach asked.

Blinking Darcy let out a growl before lunging at Zach shoving something in his face as Zach pushed me back away from them as he tried to fight him off but then suddenly mid swing Zach dropped to the ground like a heavy rock and laid motionless I let out a scream of shock and looked at Darcy with fear.

'Yes Jordan this is Darcy,...Yes Prince Darcy tell Tanner it's time for the truth.'  His voice was strong as I felt myself getting  light headed and everything went black.

Glancing at my brother I took a deep breath. 'Its time brother'

'shit's hit the fan?' he smiled as he sat up slowly. I nodded. 'I take it he's decided its time to tell Zach we know about his dirty little secret' I nodded. 'lets get going Nikko healed me right?' I nodded. 'the bastard he's gonna pay for this' his hands clenched into tight fists as I settled my hand over his shoulder. Thinking of Sophia I let the magic sink in around us the air thickening becoming musty and dark making me sigh softly as I found us in the interrogation room with Darcy pacing around Zachary as he slowly came to.

'where's Sophia?' glancing at me he sighed.

'Safe first room on the left the doors locked' Tanner quickly left to go to her.

'Your going to rot in hell' Darcy growled out to him as Zach kept up a calm unphased look. His eyes were bewildered. I almost believed him but I didn't. 'Your twisted,' he continued in a dark voice. 'to kill a king and queen, her parents'

'I don't know what you mean' Zach muttered out stiffly as he spat at us. Lunging the chains held him there as he glared up at us.

'We know about you all about you' Darcy smirked. 'sick bastard' kicking Zach in the face Zach slid back the chains catching him making it hard for him to fall back. 'making yourself out to be her savior, putting a spell on her to make her forget it was you all along that killed her parents'

'I don't know what your-'

'don't lie to me!' Darcy kicked him again making Zach gag, 'Alexander of the South Kingdom exiled prince the brother to my mate!'

'Your lying' glancing at Sophia as Tanner walked in with her she looked at Zach. 'Don't-don't hurt him please'

'Sophia's a special werewolf one of royal blood' Darcy growled out making Sophia gasp.

'I'm human...'

'Special werewolf gene that requires you to be bitten by a wolf of Royalty. Whatever Tanner told you is true Sophia.' Darcy turned to her. 'Zach is your brother, I think you know what I'm talking about now Alexander?' he addressed Zach by his true name. 'Prince of the South Kingdom.'

'its been a while sense some ones called me by that name' Alexander smirked. 'Sophia's human she's the unlucky wolf that wasn't blessed with a wolf spirit in her' his eyes locked on Sophia as she trembled with wide eyes that darted between us all.

Yes Sophia was Royalty lost princess of the South Kingdom. Annabel was her true name, Zach I mean Alexander was the soul killer to her mother and father wiping out the whole kingdom in blind rage. Looking at Tanner she blinked a couple of times. The yellow around her eyes showing me something deeper. A spell he put another spell on her.

'A spell of ancient time's to hid away her true identity a fake name, a fake past all planed and plotted by you' Darcy turned back to Alexander. 'you took my future wife away my mate'

'Annabel belongs to me! And no one else!' Alexander snarled. 'She's my little sister she loves me, I'm giving her exactly what she wanted. She wanted us to be like mom and dad just as they were and that's what I'm doing making her dream come true you just complicated things' he snarled through clenched teeth his eyes locked on Sophia.

'Brother?' Sophia looked lost and confused as I whispered a breaking spell hoping I could manage to break it by myself lucky it wasn't strong as the yellow left her eyes as she looked at Tanner.

Alexander...was Zach? Wait or was it Zach being Alexander. I didn't understand as I looked between Darcy and him. I couldn't be a princess...I'm human but he's also claiming that I'm a werewolf.

'I don't understand' I looked at Alexander. 'your lying' I looked at Tanner as I backed away. 'I hate lying'

'Don't listen to them Sophia they don't know what their saying their trying to break us up' Alexander...I mean Zach pleaded to me.

'its true Sophia' I looked at Darcy. 'It's all true your Princess Annabel of the south kingdom and he, Alexander is your bother.  He's the one that killed your parents he's the one that took all your memories away.'

I shake my head.

'He's your older brother who had a witch put a spell on you to make you think he was your mate because he wanted what your parents had.' Tears fell down my cheeks as I looked at Alexander with pain clutching my chest.

'I still don't understand,..' I groaned out in a quivering that dipped and died out in the end. 'how can-can he be my brother and want me as his mate?' I tried to understand what they were saying. 'that's wrong'

'It is our right to be together Bell we love each other! Their lying we are soul mates! Fate brought us together. Mom and dad didn't want us together' Alexander pleaded with me and it hit home. everything flooded back to me as I remembered. Breaking the chains he looked at me with clenched hands. 'they wouldn't let us be together like you wanted us to be I proposed to you Bell and they rejected my offer for him the Prince of the North' he sneered as he looked at Darcy. 'it was a union they had already promised you to him. You didn't want him! You wanted me!  I did this for us!'

'O Alexander' I groaned out as I rubbed my face with a shaking hand. My heart raced as I remembered how I was when I was little back when we were a real family back when mom and dad were alive. He'd always say we'd be together forever and that we'd have love as strong as mom and dads.

'Annabel it was my only option for us to be together. If they were out of the picture and you disappeared we'd have our chance at love like you asked for'

Shaking my head I looked at Tanner finding his eyes comforting.

'But I wasn't enough to wait for...I wasn't good enough- no I wasn't worth the wait was I? I asked with a frown. 'mom and dad waited till they were 20 to be together and you couldn't even wait seven years for me' I could feel whatever the spell was slipping away letting my memories come back. The night mom and dad were killed the blood the screams of pain and I remember how his wolf looked in the moon light covered in blood that looked black.

'Don't say those things' he pleaded.

Watching him I felt my heart ache he was my brother, my first love my protector. Yes people now objected to people marrying within the family but I was of royal blood it was something that kept our blood clean and untainted. To keep the secret of the Southern Kingdom that was vital to us. 'I cant not say the words Alexander. You slept with Bonnie, how cold has your heart became dear brother?' I screamed at him. 'Are you not even the same man I fell in love with!?'  he was no longer the Alexander I loved, his eyes no longer held the happiness in them or the tender look that I loved.  I loved him so much even at a young age I wanted to be with him to have him as my husband. How could I of known my beloved Alexander would of gone as far as to of killed our parents to have me by his side.

'Annabel please!' he lunged at me burying his face in my neck. 'forget.' Something twisted in me making me whimper out. 'forget' he repeated and I began to feel something being torn from me as he was jerked back from me. Shoving me aside I regained my balance as warm hot liquid splashed across my face. Touching the liquid that ran down my cheeks I looked at Tanner as a scream tore from my mouth. Not my blood...but whos blood.

Pain filled me as I was kept in place. They couldn't hear me I couldn't move as I watched Alexander attacking Tanner. Jordan wasn't in the room and Darcy was holding me? pulling me away from the room.

'O Annabel how I've missed you' blinking I looked up at Darcy.

'Tanner?'

He gave me a sad smile. 'he's on his way'

'I hurt'

He nodes as he brushes his finger tips over my neck were it was sore. 'I bit you Annabel. To awaken your wolf Isabel. She's been asleep for a very long time waiting for me to wake her up' he whispered to me. 'It's my gift to you, before I part and make my way back home'

Clutching his hand I realized what he was saying. He was letting me stay by Tanner's side. Giving me a gift of eternal life. 'Darcy I'

He put his finger to my lips stilling me. 'I always had a feeling that you never truly belonged to me Annabel. I never realized it till now but Tanner is your real mate that's why you chose him over Alexander. That's why it was so easy for you to be with him. He got to you when none of us could' he took a deep breath and pressed his lips to my forehead. 'live long and be happy, I'll come visit you often'

'Thank you' tears trickled down my face. 'I'm sorry I caused so-so much trouble'

'you didn't know your brother would go that far to make your dreams come true but I will have to admit I was shocked when Tanner showed me the clips.' He shakes his head. 'I must go now the council will like to have him dealt with soon.'

Glancing up at Tanner as he walked in a small smile played on my lips. 'hey'

"Mate" Isabel whispered to me softly "our Mate"

"yes ours" I repeated back to her with a internal sigh

Walking to me he crawled up the foot of the bed and buried his face into my neck 'you smell like a pure bred' he muttered against my skin. 'what happened?'

Sitting back he lightly straddled me. 'Darcy awakened Isabel my wolf and left to take care of my brother'

'what should I call you?' he looked away from me. 'Arent you going to accompany him.'

Turning his face back to me I shake my head. 'I'm always going to be your Sophia, he let me stay with you. We're mates' his eyes widened. 'that's why it was easy for me to be with you, I realized it when I just say you walk in. Isabel likes you' kissing him I wrapped my arms around his neck. 'Are you ok?'

'I know I shouldn't be in shock but I still am...I mean I knew from the start who you were but-but I thought once you found out that you'd return with Darcy to be his queen and to rule by his side' he muttered with a blush.

'Tanner you've been the only one for me you're my mate my love, maybe this all happened for a reason. If Alexander hadn't of done the things he'd done I'd of never of met you I'd of been Darcy's wife by now...' I growled at the thought.

Kissing me he pinned me down his body settling onto mine. 'guess that would explain why I love you so damn much' he muttered softly. 'it almost hurts' his hands slid up my sides pushing my shirt up.

'your wounds...'

'Nikko healed them before I came' he grunted out softly. 'their all gone' glancing into his eyes I nodded.

'hold me please'

Life seemed perfect. Finding my true mate. Having my memories back though they hurt but the day of Alexander's attack Mom and Dad had took me to the circus. My last happy memory with them was with them holding me smiling as we watched the clown do funny tricks. 'love?' grunting as he pulled me into his arms my head resting on his chest he gave a deep sigh. 'I'm never letting you go'

I smiled as I glanced into his eyes. 'We're never letting you go either'

1.      Alexander is Zachary only Zachary has been a fake name that he's been using for seven years.

2.      Sophia is Annabel Alexander's little sister...

3.      She is in fact a werewolf only the "secret of the south kingdom" is that a werewolf of royal blood must be bitten by another royal wolf to have their powers awakened.

4.      Alexander did in fact kill his parents to be with his sister... ***creepy but true bro***

5.      Why you may ask that her brother wanted to marry his sister? Well easy: royalty marries into family to keep the blood line pure and untainted. Which is why it was ok for them to marry but their parents had another idea on the matter and to create a union between the North Kingdom and the South Kingdom Annabel was promised to Young Prince Darcy...

6.      In order to stop that well Alexander of course killed his family and had a spell put on Annabel replacing her memories making her think she was human, and that he saved her
