Chapter 6

:Sophia/ Tanner

Groaning I gave a whimper as I looked around. Yelping at the sound of rattling chains I looked up at the man who had taken me.  'Zach?' I whimpered out in fear as he squatted in front of him. Catching my chin in his fingers he tipped my chin up to his watchful eyes. His dark green eyes filled with malice that scared me.

'Your mate I presume?' biting my lip I gave another whimper.

'You're the Hybrid' chuckling he stood up walking away he leaned against the wall. Crossing his arms over his sculpted chest he smirked at me.

'And you're the human' he answered as I glanced at the chains.

'can I go home?'

Shaking his head he chuckled. 'no, your staying here'

Blinking back the tears I whimpered again. 'wh-why cant I go back? Why are you killing the mates' I demanded roughly.

Growling he slammed his fist into the wall. 'My boys may do some shitty things but we've never killed any mates, who's told you this'

The door slammed open banging against the door as 'Darcy?' looking at the female she frowned at me. 'your not Darcy'

'Your brother?' nodding she biting her lip as she glanced at the man.

'I'm sorry Tanner I-I thought my brother...' nodding she went to leave.

'your brother-he's nice' I muttered softly

Blinking she turned back to me. 'you know my brother?' nodding she bit her lip again. 'h-how is he doing?'

'he's good, he was staying at our pack house with me' I answered softly. 'he got me a puppy'

Blinking she nodded. Leaving I glanced back at Tanner. 'I thought you had a mate' he demanded skeptically with a raised eyebrow.

'I do'  I muttered with a pout. 'why'd you hurt Brice and Taylor.'

'because they wouldn't just hand you over now would they?' he demanded. 'exactly' he rolled his dark green  eyes at me. Pushing his hair back he gave a throaty growl.

'You hurt them bad... all that blood' groaning I gave a little whispery laugh. 'O god your going to kill me...I'm going to die a bloody virgin' I whimpered again.

Blinking his eyes widened. 'Virgin?'

Gulping I held my tongue. Fear ran through me, what if he planed on raping me? what if he was just going to question me then kill me...it wasn't like I would tell him anything about my pack I couldn't do something like that...

'you mean you never slept with your mate' he demanded again as he pushed away from the wall. 'Well answer me'

'no' I muttered with a blush. Making him laugh at me. Flinching I looked away. 'stop its not funny'

'it is when I know his reputation with the ladies I would of thought he'd of boned you the very first night' he laugh.

Tears ran down my face at the thought of him with someone else. Pain racked through me. 'I didn't even know I had a mate till two days ago! Will people stop telling me these things! I get it he had a past but is it really necessary to rub it in? it hurts.' I whispered brokenly.

'So whats stopped you from sleeping with him like mates usually do?'

Biting my lip I shrugged. 'I was too scared...I'm so ill experienced and he's-he's so experienced. Up till two days ago I'd never talked to a male human or werewolf...the Alpha wouldn't let me make friends...' I muttered softly with a frown.

'so they kept you prisoner and kept your virginity in tact while your mate got to play around' Tanner growled out in disgust. 'the bastard.'

'he didn't want to take me because he didn't want to hurt me...he said when he first found out I was ten and he was 16' I muttered again. I wasn't angry about it no more I was hurt and a little understanding.

'still an excuse'  he just rolled his eyes. Walking back up to me he unlocked the cuffs. Pulling me up I shivered at his touch. Only Zachary touched me the way this man was trying. His finger tips trailing up my arm as he pulled me into his chest. 'I feel sorry for you that's why I took you away. Your human so you wont feel the pain of being away from him, sense your not fully mated yet it will make it easier for you.' He muttered into my hair making me suppress a little groan at the feel of his hot breath brushing against my ear.

Gulping I bit my lip as he pressed a kiss on my head. 'why is the Princess here? Did you steal her?'

Shrugging he let me go. 'The Princess is here because of her own free will. Her mate is one of my men- ok?'

'Darcy is looking for her you know that right?'

Nodding he grinned. 'and? So what if he's the future King of our people. She came on her own free will we didn't force her to do anything ok?'

Frowning I sighed softly. 'how long am I suppose to stay here?'

'you once said you didn't have a home because you felt unwelcome in your pack. Now you have a home with us. You'll be safe here we've never been tracked back here before and I'll be damned for it to be a first time. You can roam the halls go from room to room watch TV go shopping with one of my men with you for a while ok? A handful of the men are horn dogs so its best to have me or Collin with you ok? Just for your safety that is' he answered with a easy smile.

Scowling at him I bit my lip. 'sure ok, not like I'd last a day out in the woods by my self.' I uttered as I rubbed my hands together. 'can-can I take a shower? I got blood on-on me'

Nodding he ushered me out of the room and down the beautiful hallway. Letting my eyes run over the pictures I glanced back at him.

'who are all those people?'

'those are my people, Hybrids we're all we got most of us marry our own kind unless we find our mate. Its painful for us to try and be human as you've seen we're not completely human but we're not completely werewolf either' he explained in a low voice. 'that room right there is mine yours is only two rooms down'

'so close?'

'well you didn't expect me to bring you here an let you be surrounded by strangers.' Nodding I sighed. 'you can stay in my room if you'd like I barely sleep in there though I mainly do paper work at the table.'

Nodding I put the pieces together. I would be safer with him instead of two rooms down. Gripping his arm as two men went by I gave a whimper.

'your safe with me. Come on' turning us back around he led me to his room. Opening the door he flipped the light on and kicked off his shoes. 'here we are. My bed...well yours now' nodding he pointed to the bathroom. Pausing he gripped my arm. slipping his hand under my elbow he pulled me right back to his chest. Tipping my chin up I eyed his eyes as he gazed down at me. 'you know your too cute for your own good' blushing he pressed his lips to mine. For a second it felt all wrong but then again I only been kissed by one male before. Tensing when his teeth teased my bottom lip I gave a little gasp. Groaning when his tongue slid into my mouth  touching mine. The heat of his tongue against mine making me give a little whimper as he slid his hand into the back of my hair.

Pulling away he gave me a grin.

'you know when you said he was the only one whos touched you I didn't think you where telling the truth but...' kissing me again he smiled. 'I can tell you still have his taste on your tongue but now' he grinned as he kissed me again. Blinking I stared up at him with wide eyes my hands trembling my body shaking with something I couldn't understand. Blushing I went to look away. 'now you have my taste, my musk on your body' his voice grew deeper making me shiver as I looked back at him as he pressed another kiss on my lips. 'I like your lip gloss.'

'I'm not-wearing any'

Growling again he pressed his lips to mine. 'then you just naturally taste good. Now go take your shower I'll see if I have anything that will fit you for now ok?' nodding I walked slowly to the bathroom hoping I didn't look like a fool as I putted my way there not trusting my legs as I slid into the bathroom. Closing the door I stripped down. Hopping into the shower I quickly turned the water on.

Watching the faded pink and dirt wash down the drain I gave a sigh loving the warmth of the water against my skin.

Grabbing the towel I dried off quickly wrapping my hair up in a towel I walked out of the bathroom finding Tanner pacing.

'All I have for now is sweat pants with a elastic thing and a t-shirt' nodding I took them from him and went back to the bathroom. Putting on my underwear I dropped the towel and changed into his clothes. Rolling the waist banned twice I put the shirt on and walked out. 'you look-good in them' blushing I shrugged. 'I'll have one of the girls barrow you clothes when I go out to get something ok?' nodding I glanced around.

'so um...' I muttered with a frown.

'Want to watch TV?' nodding quickly I grinned.  'anything you want to watch?'

'Alpha never let me watch TV...so um could you tell me what's good?' I muttered with a frown my smile quickly falling away.

'well you can watch as much TV as you want' he answered as he pulled me to him. Leading me to the bed he sat me down flipping on the TV he kept his arm around me. 'I wont stop you from watching anything...well besides pornos because that's a waist of time'

Scrunching my nose I shrugged. 'that's gross. Do you got Magic Mike?'

'didn't I say no Pornos?' blushing I bit my lip.

'I skip the bad parts' I admitted softly. 'I just watch the dances'

'o you really are a virgin' he chuckled making me give a little groan.

'how many times do you have keep saying that?'

'am I making you nervous' giving me a kiss on the cheek he trailed his fingers down my side.  'I can smell it on you, your shaking' rubbing my side I gave a little whine. 'shh take a deep breath and look into my eyes' doing as he said I gazed deep into his green eyes that had a hint of golden in them as he leaned closer. 'I'll kiss you like you should have been' brushing his lips against mine. I felt frozen in place as he brushed them against mine a second, third, and forth time. The gentle way his hands cupped my face holding me there as his lips pressed against mine once more. Pulling back when I started to feel light headed he smiled down at me. 'now that's how your first kiss should have been'

Feeling her cheeks warm under the palms of my hands I gave her a kiss before I moved away. Standing I went to my window. Pushing the curtain back I looked out into my back yard. This was my house with my people, they didn't have to listen to my orders but they did. This was nothing like a pack. We worked together to get problems solved. We rescued the ones who needed it. Thus the reason behind my stealing Sophia. Pushing her soft silky brown hair out of her face I looked into her big grey eyes, I could see her guilt for kissing me. But I knew she liked it...

Pulling her back to me I put her on my lap facing me with her legs on either side of me.  'Tanner'

Growling I gave a sigh. 'Tanner's my last name Sophia, my first name is Joel'

Weighing my name in her mind she bit her lip. 'Joel Tanner? Got a middle name?'

Nodding I rolled my eyes. 'Noel. My mom was into the oel at the end of every name' I muttered dryly.

'You sound upset about it, I like it' she answered as she glanced down between us. Blushing she went to crawl off.

Tightening my arms around her I held her there making her give a little grunt. 'Sophia' blinking she looked up at me as I leaned closer. 'why where you with those Wolfs. I got word of your situation with the Alpha but how long where you living with them?' I asked curiously

'For seven years. They adopted me into the pack when I was ten' she answered with a frown.

'adopted? You where stolen?' shaking her head she took a deep.

'No I wasn't stolen, my parents where murdered in front of me by rouges I think I don't really remember. All I remember is Zachary's wolf killing the one that was going to get me. He saved me...' she answered with a frown.

Nodding I stole a kiss making her give a little gasp.

'Joel-I have a mate'

Nuzzling her neck I shrugged. 'I know but your mate, he has a past that would shame you. I'm saving you for heart break' I answered as I let my tongue flick over her skin making her shiver.

'Joel-um...your um...somethings poking me' she stammered out with red cheeks. Blinking I glanced down and grinned.

'you don't have to be afraid I wont hurt you' I whispered to her in a soothing voice.

Whimpering she shifted nervously as I pulled her off of my lap. Sitting next to me she held her hands on her lap with her head ducked hiding her face.

'You've only been kissed by two guys, never done anything?' I asked curiously as I leaned back propping myself up.

'I was never allowed to have a boyfriend or-to um be around men' she answered timidly as her eyes wondered down to my pants. Gulping she looked away quickly with fear in her eyes. 'is that normal?'

Biting my lip I gave a sigh. 'in a manor of speaking only when I'm turned on'

'Like a light?' she asked innocently making me smile. She was so cute and clueless.

'no not like a light' shaking my head she huffed.

'I don't understand...is it suppose to do that? What does it mean?' turning away from me she rested against my arm with her legs dangling over the edge of the bed.

'It means that  I want you' I answered simply finding it hard to explain things to her. I didn't want to scare the hell out of her but I wanted her to get the gist of things.

'want me? I don't understand what you mean.'

Laying back she slipped and rested her head on my stomach. 'Like a mate wants you Sophia.'

Hearing her gulp I felt her body tremble. Rubbing her stomach I felt her ease up. 'O, but your not my mate' chuckling  I gave a deep sigh.

'A male doesn't have to be your mate to want you Sophia'

'Is it wrong that...that I don't miss him?' she asked suddenly as she scooted up. Sitting up she faced me. 'Does that make me a bad person?'

'No for humans its different to have a mate. You call it soul mates but even then your ties aren't as strong as a wolfs because wolfs mate for life. As a human you don't feel the strong pulls that a wolf pair would. Its normal it doesn't make you a bad person'

Nodding she bit her lip. 'I-I liked the way...um' she blushed and snapped her mouth shut. 'never mind'

'what did you like? You don't have to be shy with me' blushing she shakes her head as I sat up making her look at me I watched the blush creep up her cheeks and a timid little smile play at the corners of her lips. 'did you like the kiss' licking her lips she nodded slowly.

Giving her a kiss I smiled at her.

'there that wasn't so hard now was it?' nodding I moved away from her and stood up. 'I have to go do some work and get you some clothes.' I answered to her.

Nodding she watched me leave as I shoved my shoes back on.

Glancing at the TV I flipped through the channels  with a yawn
