You all better thank your heroes (I will name, names) who went to comment on my other story: The Last Female Saiyan. I know it was a shameless advertisement, but hey if you like this story, perhaps take a look at the the other stories that have been holding me hostage for the past year.
I might edit this chapter in future

Gaia turned in her seat and looked at Levi who was still finding a lot of interest in the window.
"Levi?" she called him almost hesitantly, he must have heard it because his eyes made their way to her,
"Yes?" he asked after she had not continued after calling him, she was lost in thought and looked almost uncertain if she wanted to talk about whatever was plaguing her, he walked slowly to her, and placed a hand on her cheek,
"Gaia, what's wrong?" he asked,
"Why do...Um...Why are you attracted to me?" she asked, he looked at her and quirked his brow,
"Huh," he asked, almost deadpanning at her question,
" I mean, I have no memories, but I do have intuitions, gut feelings that I think the ghost of who I was feels. It's... just... I am... incomplete" she said looking down, Levi's head tilted, she looked almost ashamed,
"Well, I can't deny that a big part of my attraction to you is physical," he said, half-jokingly, she shot him a warning glare, which made him chuckle,
"Another reason is because of how this feels to me. I can't tell if it's right or wrong, but it feels very right," as if to emphasize what he said, he removed her from the chair, sat down, and put her on his lap, he felt her twitch as he pulled her close and knew it had little to do with him and everything to do with battle happening far away from them,
"Trust is something I usually only reserve for the battlefield amongst my team," he continued as he stroked her hair,
"Growing up the way I did, instinctually I can't afford to just trust people," he paused,
"My instincts are acting against anything my mind and experience have tried to fight," he says and pulls her closer,
"My instincts are telling me that I want to be with you, for as long as I can," he says, kissing her temple, making her blush at his intensity and sweetness,
"What happens when my memories come back, what if things won't be the same, what if they can't be the same?" She asks, tears forming in her eyes,
"What if they don't, Gaia?" he asked, almost cooing at her,
"Somehow, I feel like that is highly unlikely," she said, as she latched onto his shirt,
"Highly unlikely," he thought to himself, Armin has really outdone himself,
"I...I want you to promise me something," she said, her face darkened, Levi frowned, he tried his best to comfort her, this was not the first time she brought up that things might change between them once her memories get back, if they even do, but her train of thought seemed almost unavoidable,
"I want you to kill me," she said in almost a whisper, she felt his entire body go rigid,
"W-What did you just say?" he asked his face darkened as well, his eyes looked almost wild as they gazed at her almost accusing her of having lost her sanity,
" I... I mean, if my memories come back and I become a th-threat," she said, choking back a sob as her mind raced with the possibility, his mind seemed to start catching up with hers, and his arms tightened around her, almost painfully,
"Gaia," he could not find any words to say, ordinarily, killing was as natural as breathing, he was known to never hesitate, but this... he felt his hands start sweating, as his pulse was erratic. His mouth went dry as she looked at him, expecting him to agree, she saw the conflict in his eyes,
"Before I hurt anyone else...Before I... kill anyone....b-before I...I...kill you," she choked out, she looked at him, desperation clear on her face, as tears went down her face, for the first time, Levi struggled to meet the forest green gaze that rarely left him.
He put his hand behind her head and forced her face to his chest, as a false attempt to comfort her, in order to hide himself from her gaze. The very same instincts that drew him to her, were the same instincts that were telling him that what she was requesting was...was a farce. The closest thing to blasphemy uttered within these godforsaken walls.
It's not that he did not want to, it's because he couldn't.
If he would not, Mikasa will: is what crossed their minds at the same time. It might have been an odd time to be considering her, but the girl had made it abundantly clear that she did not trust Gaia. She never let her guard down around her. Mikasa was always found keeping a close watch on the girl, even when there was no need, attending her lessons, meal time, and bath time. Mikasa would react just as fast as Levi would on a normal day. Levi sighed, only feeling slightly better now that the responsibility was not on him,
he placed a stressed kiss on Gaia's temple.
Mikasa and him would fight immediately after that, for hours,
another kiss on her temple,
for days perhaps,
another,
for years,
more,
Until he finally gives up and lets Mikasa kill him because he would not know how to lie in their bed at night. He would not know how to put on his shirts knowing that Gaia folded them so neatly for him. How to ride a horse when she is not on it with him. To sleep. To eat. To live.
"Levi," Gaia called to him, breaking him out of his trance, he noticed her blush and saw that his kisses had somehow trailed down to her neck, she must have been calling him for a while because even though she broke him out, she sounded so distant,
"Gaia," he said, not for any reason, just because he could. His tone when saying name conveyed so many meanings that he could bring his mouth to utter. His need for her. His deep feelings for her. He could only pray that she could hear it without words too. He could not tell her that he loved her because was not sure if he did. He did not recall its feeling. What could he possibly know about it?
He knew her words were ringing with the truth, he only knew her for who she had become over the past few months. She had her quirks and subtle hints of a pre-existing personality, but most of who she was, was what she had been given to learn by everybody... but isn't everyone that way? Then again, no one starts as a blank slate and learns everything she has in a few months... Levi sighed, it's so much.
"I don't know what the future holds, or how much time we have left, but what I do know is that right now, we have no conflict and right now I can hold you in my arms and close to me." He said, turning her so that he could look into her eyes once again,
"All we have is right now, so will it just be mine for now until we get there? Maybe you won't even change that much when you get them back," he said, she could tell he was trying to convince himself more than her.
She knew that things would definitely change, this rage that lurked in the shadows of her subconscious would never let things remain the same after. But he was right, all they had was right now. Which is more than enough for her.
"Levi, I doubt that there is a reality where I am not yours," she said, pulling him into a kiss which he eagerly returned. They could almost taste their unspoken words on each other lips, so sincere, so passionate, so desperate.
He lifted them and placed her on the table, kissing her more passionately as his hands roamed all over her body. He stood between her legs pressing their bodies even closer. She could feel absolutely everything. His lips left hers as he heard her gasps become more desperate for air, they met each other's breathless gaze. Levi smirked at how her eyes had glazed over and her blush that reached to her ears. She was already panting, and loved that, he knew one way to make her pant even more, he attacked her neck, and she gasped as he bit her, causing his smirk to widen,
"Levi, you devil," she said breathlessly, causing him to chuckle and bite even harder making her moan. She moved her head to the side and ran her hands through his hair, while his hands busied themselves with unbuttoning her shirt. She opened her eyes taken aback by his willingness to do it out her in the open, the door was still open and the window had no shutters or curtains...the window...
"So this is why you were looking out of the window?" she looked at him incredulously, he laughed at her reaction to the fact that he had intentions with her and this table the moment he entered the room, she giggled and shook her head at Levi's amusement. His hands made their way into her now open shirt, touching her sensitive skin and eliciting all kinds of sounds from her as his mouth went back to her neck. He was glad that no one was around to hear her sweet sounds, as her breaths got shorter, she started to lose herself.
She struggled to keep stars out of her vision as he continued. She suddenly felt something, it started at the back of her neck, she gasped as the spark went through and went through her whole body. She felt the connect.
"Did you alre-"
"EREN?" she gasped in between panting, her eyes widened, that feeling was so familiar, she had felt it before, somewhere, she was not sure- her thoughts came to a sudden halt when she realized how Levi's breathing was uneven,
"What did you just say?!" he growled, as he removed himself from her, she got off the table, trying to grab his arm as he ripped it away,
"...Eren- he -I-" Gaia said, standing in shock, her shaking hands trying to button up her shirt under Levi's piercing and openly violent gaze. Her eyes met his and amongst the rage, she saw something even worse...Hurt. Guilty tears distorted her vision,
"Levi, I am so sorry, I shouldn't have-" Before she could finish her sentence,
before she could even see him,
with a speed that was known to be lethal to a titan,
Levi left, slamming the door hard enough to make the frame around it splinter.
What have I done? He doesn't know, it seemed like I cu....at the thought of EREN. She ran her hand over her face trying to ignore her blush of embarrassment. She ran to the door and ripped it open, following where she heard his footsteps go. She ran outside, her eyes scanned everywhere for him,
"Levi!" she called for him as she rounded the corner to the stables and saw that his horse was gone.
How the hell was she supposed to explain herself when he could not feel what she felt?
