After their conversation Mizuki and Eren had somehow found themselves tangled together. Mizuki was sitting on the bed with his back pressed against the wall and Eren was laying in between his legs with his head resting against his chest, listening to Mizuki's steady heartbeat that calmed him.
"Eren." Mizuki murmured as he rubbed Eren's head. At some point his hand had found itself buried in Eren's soft brown curl with his other hand resting against his lower back.
"Mhmm?" Eren hummed as he traced patterns on Mizuki's bare chest. Mizuki kept taking off his jacket and refusing to take back his shirt and Eren was pretending to be annoyed about it but he secretly loved the feel of Mizuki's warm skin against his.
"I know you said your father won't agree to the meeting if you tell him but what if it wasn't you." Mizuki said and Eren moved his head so he could rest his chin on Mizuki's chest and stare at his face at the same time.
"What do you mean?" He asked with a cute tilt of his head.
"One thing we both know is that these rulers have pride. They're full of it and it seems like your father is one of the ones who would defend his pride with his life. What if word got out that we have the crown prince in our hands? For the sake of his reputation wouldn't he want to get you back at all cost?" Mizuki asked and Eren contemplated the words in his head.
"Yes, I think you're right." Eren said with a small nod.
"So if we send the message out that we have you then he would come to the meeting and there we could do an exchange. We give them you and they stop sending attacks. We can sign a treaty and everything." When Mizuki said the words he felt his chest twist.
He didn't want to give Eren to anyone. He wanted to keep Eren with him, right here in his arms.
"I think that might actually work." Eren brightened up at the thought of this stupid war ending.
"But wait." He suddenly said. "Why would your king agree? And what's to say they'll even listen to you?"
"What do you mean why would they even listen to me? Of course they would, I'm the-"
Oh my fucking god.

"You're the what?" Eren asked as he pushed himself back until he was sitting on his heels, still in between Mizuki's legs.
"Promise you won't be mad?" Mizuki asked with a nervous smile and Eren frowned.
"No I won't promise. Tell me!" Eren exclaimed.
"Imthecrownprince."
"You're the what now?" Eren said as he stared at Mizuki with wide eyes.
"Crown prince." Mizuki mumbled.
"You-you asshole!" Eren yelled with wide as he hit Mizuki on the chest.
"You fucking hypocrite!" He screamed as he backed away and Mizuki could feel the panic growing in his chest.
"You were telling me to let you in! To tell you about my position! And here you are, a fucking prince and making me think you were just another solider! You're a fucking liar. All this time-oh my god." Eren said as he stared at Mizuki who was approaching him.
"Were you just fucking with me this whole time? You were planning on taking me home to your father and presenting the royalty you captured? Were you faking-"
"You know that's not fucking true." Mizuki said, anger taking over him as he grabbed Eren's shoulders and pushed him back until he was laying flat on his back.
"I'm sorry for not telling you." Mizuki started off. "But I swear I thought you already knew. And I wasn't faking shit."
"How can I trust you?" Eren asked with a frown.
Mizuki threw his leg over Eren's torso and then he grabbed Eren's hand and pressed it on his chest, right over his heart.
"Does it feel fake?" Mizuki whispered and Eren frowned but then his eyes widened when he noticed how fast Mizuki's heart was beating.
Mizuki leaned closer until his forehead was pressed against Eren's and he looked into his eyes. "Look at me, do you really think everything I've done, everything I've said since we met was fake?"
"I-I don't know." Eren whispered as he stared at Mizuki's dark swirling eyes.
Mizuki leaned in closer until there was only an inch of space in between their lips and he whispered, "I guess I'll have to prove myself won't I?"
And then he pressed his lips against Eren's.
Eren gasped in shock but then he felt Mizuki's lips move against his and his brain shut down as his eyes closed. He wrapped his arms around Mizuki's neck and cautiously kissed him back.
Mizuki smiled into Eren's lips and he felt his body lose the tension as he put all his focus on kissing the boy that lay underneath him.
His hands gently held Eren's waist and his heart was pounding as he continued to kiss him. Their eyes were closed and all they could feel was each other.
Mizuki trailed his hands lower and lower until they were grasping Eren's hips and then he raised them making them press against each other everywhere and Eren moaned in surprise.
Mizuki used Eren's parted lips as an opportunity to slide his tongue through Eren's mouth and they both groaned in pleasure when their tongues met.
When they were finally out of breath they pulled away and stared at each other with wide eyes.
"Did-did that feel fake?" Mizuki breathed out and Eren punched his chest.
"Y-You're such an ass." He groaned and then Mizuki grinned.
"Well you just kissed me so clearly you don't hate it." Mizuki said and Eren pushed him, making him fall next to him.
"You kissed me!"
"And you kissed me back!"
"Shut the fuck up you-you liar!"
"I never lied." Mizuki pouted as he stared at Eren and Eren turned his head away. "Yes you did."
"But you never asked me who I was." Mizuki pointed out and Eren huffed.
"Whatever." He said as he sat up and ran his hand through his hair.
Mizuki also sat up and he poked Eren's side making the boy turn to him with a deadly look. "What?!"
"Can I hold you?" Mizuki asked and Eren's expression dropped as he stared at Mizuki with a shell shocked expression.
"I-what?"
"Hug?" Mizuki grinned as he scooted closer and wrapped his arms around Eren.
Eren groaned, but his cheeks were red and there was a hint of a smile on his face as he buried his face in Mizuki's chest.
