ⶠAZALEA âµ
Bright sunset, his face looked ethereal. As we walked further into the fair, him holding onto the huge bunny that I'd just won in a gun on one game. He'd been encouraging me the whole time. Unknowingly our hands had entwined, I did notice it but never pointed it out, maybe because this time with him is my souvenir.
I missed this, this feeling of being whoever I wanted to be, and this rare chance was only given to me when I was with him.
We came to a halt in front of a dancing station, I wriggled my eyebrows but he shook his head. "God Azalea no, I don't even know how to dance." He whined but I rolled my eyes at him.
"C'mon Carson, all you gotta do is move that hip and sway along, watch this." I hurdled myself in the middle of the crowd, letting go of his hand accidentally. As I reach the middle of the dance floor my eyes lock with his, he was still standing behind the crowd, smiling incredulously at me.
My hands trail upwards, meeting the air with a full swing as I move my hip along the beat, soon enough some girls join me and we dance to the beat, feeling ourselves. My eyes shoot open to look at him but he's gone, he isn't standing there anymore.
That's when I feel hands wrap around my shoulder as I turn my head to a grinning Carson. "You're such a great teacher, I am a pro now." He commented sarcastically as I rolled my eyes. I shoved him away and started dancing to the beat, he followed along. He tried imitating the MJ moonwalk but failed terribly almost getting hit in the shin by a bulky guy dancing with his girlfriend.
I laughed at his clumsiness as we both departed from the crowd, wheezing. "You definitely are a pro." I said, snickering.
"Why, thank you." He was grinning ear to ear.
I never intended to stare at him this long, but my eyes betrayed me as I stared at his perfect features with adoration. How did I get so lucky to have him by my side?
Just like a freesia he was innocent and thoughtful. His aura was golden, so was his personality. I could proudly admit, I was developing feelings for Carson Beckett.
