Nico did tell me I would be fine since the Blairs seem to be unexpectedly nice and supportive but I wasn't expecting this kind of nice.

"Oh my!" Killian's sister held my hands, "Killian is capable of getting such a cute girl?"

"I couldn't believe it when he said he had someone he liked at the opening ceremony." His mother kept staring at me, "I thought he was bluffing or pulling a prank." She kept her eyes on me like I was something precious, "I'm so glad you exist."

I was confused. I just kept blinking at them, unsure if this all was really happening or was I dreaming?

I was feeling a little overwhelmed but I still shook my head at them to tell them they were exaggerating. But they didn't get what I was implying, so I pulled my hands away to grab my phone and type in my concern.

"You don't mind?" I wrote in the app, "That I can't speak?" It was an embarrassing question to ask, and it took a lot of courage too but I knew I had to ask anyway. I've decided that I want to be with Killian, so I should clear up these things from the start.

Right?

They all paused at my question, then spared each other a glance, and then looked back at me, only to answer in unison

"Not at all," They had expressions on as if I had asked a really dumb question.

!!!!

"Really?" I was flustered, "Not at all?"

They all shook their heads and I felt a little overwhelmed. Is this really happening? They don't find me weird? Or am I actually dreaming?

"I told you that you wouldn't have to worry," Killain was sitting right beside me and I slid even closer to him because of how weird I felt.

I didn't think it would be this easy...

No one else has treated me this nicely... People always just get awkward around me. Well, the Blairs did too when I shook my head at them. But it's understandable since words need to be conveyed.

I blinked at Killian in confusion, 'I didn't think it would be possible...' I signed the words for him.

"Well, you didn't believe me," He turned his body towards me, "That's your fault." He looks so relaxed now that I said to him, there is a constant smile on his face. Like he's found his peace.

After Killian and I had our moment in the party hall, his family came running over and dragged us to the executive lounge to question us. Nico barely got to talk to me and was only able to give me a heads-up before the two of us were dragged away.

I was still scared though, I thought I'd be going through a harsh interview or that something bad might happen but it hasn't. They've all been so nice to me.

'Yeah, but, no one's ever been this comfortable with my condition.'

"How about you start trusting me more then?" He passed me a toothy smirk, "You've put me through a lot of heartbreaks."

'...' I looked down in shame, 'Sorry...' It must have given him a heart attack when he found out I left the hotel.

"I don't want an apology," I raised my head to look at him again and he raised his hands to sign his next line, 'I want you to love me properly!'

!!!

My cheeks flushed at his words

'Will you?' He asked, 'You already accepted my hunts and my proposal. You better not back off.'

I nodded as I ended up smiling, 'I will,' I signed the words slowly, 'I want us to stay together.'' My answer made his smile go wider and he couldn't help himself and wrapped his big body around me, pulling me into a hug

"Hey!" His older brother, Brian, felt odd, "That's not fair." He pointed at me, "How come you're the only one who understands her?"

I felt self-conscious.

Shit... I was using sign language... I shouldn't have, not when none of them know how to sign. I should use my app. I frantically went for my phone.

"Yeah so?" Killian smirked as he turned to look at his family with his arms still around me, "That's your problem, you should have learned it."

"You should have told us!" His sister, Meuza, glared at him, "We could have been having such a pleasant conversation with her!"

Oh?

They're worried about the fact that they can't talk to me in my language? Not the fact that they find it weird?

"Then learn it now!" Killian stated.

"Oh!" Brian added, "We will," Their mother and father nodded too and I felt frantic.

"Wait," I wrote on the text-to-speech app, "You don't need to do that for me!" I didn't want to be a burden to anyone, "I can always type things like this and talk to you guys..."

"Nonsense," Killain's mother shook her head, "From today on everyone is learning how to sign!" She made her statement and for some reason, it looked like she was determined.

"There's really no need to..." I was getting worried. Besides Nico, no one's ever gone this far for me. It feels ticklish... And oddly warm.

"You won't always have your phone with you." Mueza said, "And besides we're all fast learners," A smirk appeared on her face, "We can make this a competition!" She looked at the rest of her family and I think I hallucinated when I saw the fire behind them.

"Bring it on!" Killian's father said, "The loser will be thrown off the cliff."

Excuse me?!? What?!! What did I just hear!?!?

"Done!" All of them agreed and I turned to look at Killian in horror. He just shrugged at me with his arms folded.

"Don't worry about it." He said, "They're all highly competitive. They will do it no matter what now, even if you magically got a voice and started talking."

....

I blinked at him in confusion.

'Is it really okay?'

He nodded, "I get that it's hard for you to comprehend it but it's really okay." He grinned, "You'll get used to them."

Oh...

I looked back at them while Killian began to move.

The Blairs are one of a kind... Even on Nico's side, they were supportive of him. I smiled. Well, I'm really happy it worked out for him.

"Wanna go for a walk?" Killian stood up from the couch and extended his hand to me, "The weather is amazing."

I glanced at his family and they looked back.

"Oh!" His mother gestured, "Enjoy your time kids, we won't stop you," She passed me a very warm smile and I smiled back at them as I nodded.

"Oh! MY!" Mueza exclaimed, "She's so cute!!!"

Her statement made my cheeks flush and I looked away, then softly took Killian's hand. He helped me up and we started walking away while his family started bickering about who was going to win their silly little competition.

We walked out to the terrace which wasn't far from the lounge where the wind was so pleasant I ended up closing my eyes to feel it more.

Wow!

I opened my eyes when I felt Killian's arms around me.

"I heard something," A mischievous smirk appeared on his face and I turned my head to look at him, "I heard that fated pairs that mark each can mind-link in human form too." He drew himself closer to me

!!!

"Do you think that's true?"

I nodded, 'It is,'

"Are you sure?" He was surprised by my confident answer, "How do you know?"

'Mom and Dad can do that,"

"Really?" He got excited, "Excellent!!" He seemed to be anticipating something, "So," He looked into my eyes, "Can I mark you??!"

!!!

My eyes went wide at his statement, 'Um,' I scratched my neck, 'I'm not sure yet.' I actually didn't think that far. I was so much more focused on other things after all.

I could see the wolf in him get down cast, his ears and tail dropped, "Okay..." But he didn't force me.

'I'm sorry,' I signed, 'I just feel so nervous...' I replied, 'I want to think about it...' I saw that Nico had already gotten his mark and that sort of made me jealous but now that Killian has popped the question I can't help but get all jittery.

"OH! Hey!" He perked up, "Don't worry about it." He pulled me into a hug from the back, "We can take it slow."

'Really?' I asked, 'You don't mind?'

"I don't," He replied, "As long as you stay with me."

'That's all?'

"Yes, so don't ever think about running away and everything else will come along when you're ready."

I smiled at his words. It made my heart go soft and I placed my hands on his arms, finding a sense of peace and relief.
