Twilight: "Princess, are you here?"
Big Big: "Did she escape again...?"
Cleric: "She can't have. Her door wasn't open. She never shuts it when she leaves."
Big Big: "Wait, my liege, there's something on her pillow."
Twilight: "It's a note..."
He read.
Twilight: "Twilight the former demon king, I have stolen your princess. If you want her back, come and take her from me if you can and we can finally see who's fit to be the true demon king. Signed Hades...... PRINCESS!!!"
I woke up in a cell quite different from the one at the demon castle.
Y/N: "Huh, where am I? Twilight?! Grandpa?! Big Big?!"
...Nothing...
Y/N: "Quilly?! Harpy?!...... anyone?"
You sat on the bed and pulled my knees up to my chest.
Y/N: "What's going on?"
Hades: "You're finally awake, trembling princess."
Y/N: "Huh? Who are you?"
Hades: "I am the soon to be demon king. But you can call me Hades."
Y/N: "Where am I? Why am I here?"
Hades: "My, my... so many questions. You have been transferred to the former demon castle."
Y/N: "Former?"
Hades: "That's right... hmm... you seem quite brave for a human. But brave or not, it doesn't matter. You'll never step one foot out of this cell."
He laughed as he left.
Poseidon: "The princess was reabducted?!"
Big Big: "Hey, keep your voice down, we don't want to cause a panic."
Fire Venom Dragon: "Might be a little late for that."
The demon cleric was rubbing Twilight's back as he sat there hyperventilating into a paper bag.
Cleric: "Please settle down, your majesty. We'll get her back."
Twilight: "But the former demon castle is a death trap! It's even bad for us so imagine what it's like for her!"
Alraune: "Perhaps we should call Hades, see what he wants."
Poseidon: "Well, good luck, guys. I don't want to deal with my older brother."
He left.
Big Big: "Poseidon, wait!"
Twilight: "Buddy, leave it."
Big Big: "Uh... as you wish."
He took a few more deep breaths.
Twilight: "Okay, I'm calm. Connect me to the former demon castle."
Big Big: "Right!"
Hades: "Well well well, if it isn't the former Demon King."
Big Big: "Why you-!"
Twilight: "Hades! Return our princess at once!"
Fire Venom Dragon: "Uh, you mean prisoner?"
Twilight: "Ahem... yes!"
Hades: "Didn't you get my note? If you want her, come and get her. Unless you're too scared to challenge me."
He laughed.
Hades: "I'm sorry, it's simply too funny. How do you lose a prisoner under your own roof?! Ahahahaha-!!"
Twilight hung up on him.
Twilight: "Damn him... That's it! I'm going after the princess myself!"
Y/N: "Well, guess I'll just get out of here."
I reached into my pocket and gasped.
Y/T: 'My stuff is gone! My keys, my mini bombs, and my emergency lockpick set! He must have taken them all. Curses! How will I escape now?'
Ker: "Yo, human princess!"
Y/N: "Huh?"
Ker: "Say hello to Hades' top three underlings. I'm Ker!"
Ber: "I'm Ber!"
Ros: "Ros."
Y/T: 'They look like Big Big... but there're just pups...'
Ker: "We heard we had a new prisoner, so we thought we'd come and laugh at your miserable face- AH!"
I put my hands through the bars and grabbed the front of their shirts. They whimpered.
Y/N: "Those keys on your belt... I need them... Give them to me and I might consider letting you go."
They reluctantly did as I said before running off.
Y/N: "Hm, like taking candy from a baby. Of course, I wasn't really going to hurt them. They're just pups after all."
I left the cell and walked through the former demon castle, having to dodge a lot of traps. Way more than what seem necessary.
Y/T: 'This is ridiculous! What kind of castle needs this many traps?! Talk about overkill...'
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a distant voice coming from the way I came.
Twilight: "PRINCESS!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!?!"
Y/N: "Twilight?"
I picked up my dress and run as fast as I could back the way I came.
Y/N: "TWILIGHT!! I'M HERE!!"
A hand grabbed me from around the corner.
Hades: "Hello, princess."
Y/N: "Where's Twilight?!"
Hades: "Oh, he'll be here soon. But if he wants you, he'll have to come to me. Ahahaha!"
He pulled me into a room and sat me down. He then tied my hands behind my back and gaged me. I let out an angry muffled yell.
Hades: "Now, be a good girl and sit still. He'll be here any second now."
Before long, Twilight walked through the door.
Twilight: "Hades, give her back!"
Hades pulled out a scythe.
Hades: "Come and get her, former demon king."
I'd just about had enough of this guy. So, I crept up behind him and kick him in the back of the leg, causing him to fall to the floor.
Hades: "OW! You brat!"
I then stomped him multiple times in the back, Twilight had to pull me off him.
Twilight: "Okay, feisty pants, I think you got him."
He untied the binding around my hands. I took the gag out of my mouth before throwing my arms around him.
Y/N: "Twilight!"
Twilight: "It's okay, princess... You're safe now... Did he hurt you?"
He gave me a check over then kissed me.
Twilight: "You're alright... I'm glad..."
Y/N: "Let's go home. Back to the demon castle."
He picked me up like a bride and turned to leave.
Hades: "Wait! What about our battle?!"
Twilight: "Uh... we'll take a rain check!"
On the way back...
Twilight: "Were you scared?"
Y/N: "A little at first, but demons don't scare me anymore."
He smiled.
Twilight: "I'm glad."
Y/N: "You should be."
I kissed him.
