The ghoul didn't stop this time as it flew away from them, the rest of them except Rebecca quickly rushed towards Alex, Rebecca was on the ground with her eyes closed as every part of her body was screaming in fear.
"Alex, are you alright?" Max asked.
"I'm fine, just that I didn't expect a knife stab to be this painful," Alex said groaning.
"Should I take it out?" Max asked.
"Why are you asking, take it out... Alex are you okay," Gabriel asked.
"He's going to bleed more if you take it out, drink one of your health potions just in case," Melissa said as she rushed towards Alex.
"What about the ghoul?" Alex asked.
"It fleed," Max said while Gabriel went towards Rebecca.
"Just remove the knife, health potions don't heal wounds, I've tried it, maybe there's a potion for that," Alex said.
"Regeneration potion...I used all of mine when I was in a pinch, they heal wounds in an instant" Melissa spoke.
"Just take the knife out," Alex said as he cut part of his clothes to cover the wound on his leg.
Alex put a part of the clothing in his mouth as Max held his blood dagger and pulled it out in one swing.
Alex groaned as Melissa quickly covered the wound to stop it from bleeding, Alex sat down for some seconds before Max helped him up.
"We don't have time to stand around, now that the ghouls are gone, we should get out of here," Alex said.
"Rebecca we're leaving, let's go" Gabriel shouted as he dragged her up, she was so scared she couldn't even open her eyes anymore.
"Rebecca pull yourself together, we are leaving and Alex is injured, we don't have time to tend to two people," Melissa said.
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, I'm just so scared" Tears began to come out of her eyes.
"It's alright, we are here, you don't have to be scared and the beast is gone so we're leaving," Melissa said.
"Uhhmmm guys...I...I don't know..."
"Save that for later, we need to get out of here" Lynx cut Rebecca before she could speak.
"Alex your blades," Max said as he handed Alex both of his weapons.
"Thanks" Alex simply said but as he held both of them, immediately an information came up.

"We are moving, Gabriel shoot a fireball in the other direction," Melissa said and all of them turn towards her.
"The other direction, but we can't see where we are going and you want me to shoot in the other direction?"
"I know, just do it"

Gabriel turned around and shot a fireball in the direction opposite to where they were heading and they could see a swarm of ghouls, more than a hundred of them waiting grinding their teeth and growling without rushing towards them.
"Why are they standing there, are they trapped?" Lynx asked.
"No, they are afraid...the greater ghoul isn't gone, watch your surroundings and protect Alex and Rebecca," Melissa said.
"Shit shit, why should I be protected, why did I let myself get injured" Alex mumbled angrily as he held both of his daggers, he couldn't walk properly on his other foot.
"Guys I have something..." Rebecca mumbled.
"It's in the air" Lynx shouted.
"Rebecca get behind me" Melissa shouted as she looked upward, her focus and concentration were top notch and she was ready to release her strongest skill.
"It's flying around, I'm sure it doesn't want to get hit, we have to...shit jump!!!" Lynx shouted as he jumped away.
The greater ghoul who was flying around aimed at Alex and launched its axe with all the strength it could muster, the axe flew at an insane speed towards Alex, and Lynx barely saw it and jumped away.
But the axe was aimed at Alex, and even if it was aimed at Lynx he wouldn't be able to dodge it in time.
Alex stood there staring at the axe in slow motion as it swung towards him, even if both of his legs were fine, he still won't be able to dodge the attack in time, Alex's life flashed before his eyes and for a second his eyes blinked.
"The end..." Alex thought.

The ghoul growled and took a step forward, Gabriel and Lynx quickly fired and the ghoul jumped sideways, now that the ghoul has seen what they could do it was vigilant.
The first step wasn't to charge forward but to let them think so, after the ghoul jumped sideways it dashed towards them.
"Shit..." Both of them mumbled as the ghoul was already in front of them, the ghoul swung its claws toward Gabriel first.

A shadow passed in front of the ghoul just before it could strike Gabriel, the shadow was so faster none of them could figure out what it was till the right hand of the ghoul fell to the ground.
The ghoul screamed and stumbled backward, immediately all of their eyes landed on the shadow and it was Alex.
"Huh!!'
"What!!"
A dark shadow cleared away from Alex's body as he turned around, his leg was still bleeding, his head was also slightly bleeding, but his eyes alone was enough to chase a wolf away and the aura he excluded was darkness.
Even Alex's friends were afraid of him at that moment and Melissa opened her eyes.
