They talk all night about random things and around 4 in the morning fall asleep in the same position they were seated in. Next morning around 9, The sunlight shines on the couple who was now sleeping in a sitting position with Ahana's head on Neil's shoulder while his head on her head.
Ahana opened her eyes and smiled feeling a very relaxed feeling inside. She hasn't felt this feeling since Rajeev's death. She tried to move around only to feel a weight on her head. She looks to her right to see Neil sleeping calmly. She gets shocked and tries to move a little causing his eyes to open as well. As both of them realize there position they jump apart.
Neil awkwardly stares at the patio while Ahana rushes to the restroom. As she enters in she realize that she has nothing here. No brush no change of clothes. Nothing. Ahana washes her face and heads out to hear noises from downstairs. She heads down to see Neil standing there with a stren face while in front of him stood Sid with a puppy face.
Sid:"Common Bhai you know I had to do this."
Neil:"No u didn't Sid. I have told you many times that Ahana and I married each other for the sake of our kids."
Sid:"Yeah so you plan on living ur whole life as strangers "( He questioned back)
Neil:"Sidharth"
Sid:"You aren't even trying to be happy. It's like you have given up on everything. You are not alone bhai we are there with you. Mom, dad and your kids."
Neil:"(Turning away)"I don't want to talk about this.
Sid:"Yeah run away like always "
Neil:"Sid I said stop "(Before They could continue arguing Ahana stepped in)
Ahana:"Sid"(They both turn to Ahana. Ahana nods no to Sid for talking further to which he signs and nods)
Sid:(Walking towards her) "Bhabhi, mom as send you clothes and few other accessories. You both can change I'll wait here. I brought breakfast as well. We can eat and head home."
Ahana:"Thank you Sid"
Ahana and Neil get freshen up before heading down. They sit at the dinning table and eat breakfast in silence.
Ahana:"Ansh Naira Aryan..Were they okay yesterday "
Sid:"Yes bhabhi. They are very excited to meet you today though. They were gonna come with me but preeti said school is important "
Ahana/Neil:"Because it is. "(They both look at each other while Sid makes a whiney face.)
After breakfast they headed home. Ahana somewhat was able to help ease the tension between Sid and Neil. She knew that both were right at their place. Losing someone is not easy. Her situation is no less different then Neil's. There is only one difference she doesn't let her inner fear and sadness get to her behavior with her family her kids and others. While Neil isn't able to control that. He can only hide his inner feelings in front of his kids and be normal with them, but when he is with family he is a totally different person. She was sure that Sid and everyone else misses the old Neil and Sid standing up to Neil was just his care for his bigger brother who he lost few years back.
Ahana thoughts were broken as the car came to a stop. Neil, sid and Ahana got down from the car and headed in. As they enter they meet other family members who are headed out for their normal routines stuff. Neil also gets changed and heads out with the men of the house while Ahana heads to the hall area and settled down with Angali and others.
Preeti:(Teasingly)"How was your small getaway bhabhi "
Ahana just gave a small smile. They talked about random stuff, did some household work. Opened wedding gifts. The evening soon came. Neil had texted Ahana informing her that he will be picking up the kids so she didn't have to worry.
Ahana was seated in the the hall with preeti watching a movie when she heard the kids noise.
Aryan/Naira/Ansh:"Mummmmaaaaaaa!!!"
Ahana turned to see the kids running towards her. She got and only to be stumbled back by the kids hugging her. She laughed bending down on her knees and kisses their forehead.
Naira:"Mumma I missed you"
Ansh:"mee too"
Aryan:"Me too"
Ahana:"I missed you all. Okay common lets get changed first"(Ahana stood up and took the kids in. As she started to take them in, she saw Neil entering the house with 3 backpacks hung on his shoulder and his hands full of bottle of water that the kids left in the car. She laughed seeing him all tangled up with the kids items.)
Neil:(Seeing Ahana laugh at him)"You find this funny don't you"
Ahana:"sorry I...you look...funny"(She said as she continued to laugh along with the kids)
Neil:"Stop laughing and help me"
Ahana nodded and carried some of the kids items. They all headed towards the kids room but their laughter didn't stop. Soon everyone got changed and freshened up. The kids had a tiring day last school as they had a longer day then normal due to some event at school.
At dinning table..
The ladies were serving everyone when Ahana and Neil both yawned at the same time. The family found it weird but ignored it. Soon after few mins both of them yawned again.
Angali:"Neil Ahana why do u both look so tired "
Neil:"Nothing mom just like that"
Preeti:"Are u sure Neil bhaiya. Yours and Bhabhi's eyes look so red like you guys haven't slept well last night"
Neil:"Umm actually yeah we didn't sleep well last night..Actually "
Sid:(Teasingly)"omg bhaiya we don't need details of that"
Neil:"Shut up. Mom actually we were watching a movie yesterday. In fact an horror movie and"
Ansh:"oppsiii"
Preeti:"What happened Ansh "
Ansh:"Papa mumma also watched horror movie ?"
Neil:"Yeah"
Ansh:"Mumma can't watch horror movies she is scared of them"
Neil:"Yeah I learned that yesterday"(He said as he looked at Ahana who played with her hands awkwardly )
Sid:"Bhabhi ur scared of horror movies "
Neil:"yeah she is, That why she couldn't sleep last night and we had to talk all night to help her fear go away"
Ahana:"Common it's not like your not scared of anything in your life"(She spoke in her defence looking at Neil )
Neil:"I am not"
Ahana:"That's not possible "
Neil:"I am not scared of anything "
Ahana:"I am sure you are. And wait and watch I will soon find out what u are scared of"(She said challenging him)
Neil:"I'd like to see that too"(They both gave each other a firm challenging nod before turning towards others to see them looking at them with shock on their faces. As Neil and Ahana realize what they just did they book look around awkwardly while the others get a smile on their faces )
Angali:(Whispering to get husband )"See My Neil is changing Rahul. He is coming back. Today when he argued with Ahana on this stupid topic I saw a glimpse of My old Neil. "
Rahul:"I agree Angali. Normally Neil would get irritated at these stupid topic but today we was arguing like a kid with Ahana. And did u see they both have gotten a but closer to each other."
Angali:"My hopes are growing day by day Rahul. Ahana coming into our Neil's life is no less then a miracle."
