Ahana:(in her mind)"I am sorry Neil. But I have to distance myself from you. I love you...I love you alot and I shouldn't. you only see me as your kids wife. So that's what I will be. I am happy with the respect you give me as that. I don't want to see you hate me if ...if you get to know my feelings. I can't see hate in those eyes. I am sorry. I am sorry "
Neil:(In his mind as he looked at Ahana)"What is going on? From the point she woke up she is been acting weirdly. Avoiding me. She isn't even looking at me properly. Did someone say something ? God this is frustrating. Tomorrow I have to find out what's wrong with her."(With that he shut his eyes as sleep took over them )
Next morning, Neil woke up to sounds of whispering in his room. As his eyes open, white light hit him. He stirred to the side slowly opening his eyes to see Sid talking to the doctor. He looked to the couch area to see Ahana still asleep. A smile came on his face as he looked at Ahana.
Sid:"Bhaii.."
Neil:"Shhh"(He said pointing at Ahana who stirred at the loud noise )
Sid:(Whispering )"ohhh bhai the doctor said you can go home in few hours. I have to go fill some documents. Till then wake Bhabhi up and change into this"(Handing him his clothes and helping Neil sit up, Sid left)
Neil tries to stand up but accidentally hit his hand on the table and yelps in pain. Hearing this wakes Ahana up and She jerks up and her eyes widen seeing him standing up.
Ahana:"Neill"(She says rushing towards him and holding him)"Are you crazy?You could have woken me up na. Why are you standing on your own? Neil you cannot play with your health like this. I am telling you....."(She continued to rant while Neil just started at her smiling. She was back to normal atleast for now and that gave him some sort of peace)"Why are you smiling I am scolding you here and your smiling. God your worse then the kids"
Neil:"Ahana.. Though I would love to hear you rant more but I got use the bathroom really bad"(He said making her turn red as she looked down embarrassed )
After Ahana helped lead Neil to the restroom area, She waited outside for him to finish. 30 mins After Sid came saying all the paper work is done. Ahana also freshened up before all of them headed home.
At Malhotra Mansion....
Angali did Aarti of Neil before Rohan and Sid helped him towards his room. After he settled down on the bed and was fed food by his mother, Everyone left leaving Ahana and Neil alone. Neil thought this was the best time to talk to Ahana, but as he was speak they heard a knock on the door. Ahana went and opened the door to see A excited Ansh and Naira along with Aryan who looked down and dull. Ansh and Naira run inside towards their dad while Aryan slowly walked in.
Ahana:"Ansh Naira slowly. Papa is still not fully better na"( She said as she closed the door and side hugged Aryan)
Ansh:"Papa when will you be fully better. I wanna play with you "
Naira:"I also want to go out "
Neil:"Soon baby. As soon I get better we will go out"
Naira/ Ansh:"Reallyyy"
Neil:"Yes "(Neil looked towards Aryan to see him looking down. He looked at Ahana who was noticing the same thing)"Aryan come here. You won't hug papa"(Aryan run on the bed and hugged Neil and stay their for a while. Neil found it weird as Aryan is never a clingy kid. He would hug Neil, but only for few seconds and today Aryan was hugging Neil as if his life depends on it.)
Ahana:(Trying to cheer up Aryan)"Aryan let's do one thing. I'll ask Ur Preeti chachi to cook your favorite Maagi while I'll get some games so we can play what say."(Aryan nods where the other 2 kids cheer )
Ahana goes out and tells Preeti if she could cook maagi for the kids while she cut few fruits for Neil. She asks one of the servant to deliver the food to their room while she heads to the kids room to get a game to play.
As Ahana enteres the room she sees that Aryan's bedsheet was changed but Ansh and Naira bedsheets were the same as yesterday. She frowns as she knows that whenever someone changes the bedsheets, They change all the kids. And even if they didn't change Naira's, Who ever changed Aryan's bedsheets should change Ansh's too as Ansh and Aryan have a bunk bed and the bedsheets color coordinate. She thought she will ask a servant about if when she sees water coming out of the bathroom area. She heads into the bathroom to see the tub filled with water and Aryan's bedsheets in it.
She frowns again as why would someone wash a bedsheets in the tub. She picks up the bedsheets and her eyes widen as she looks at the stain on the bedsheets. Everything becomes clear in her mind as tears form in her eyes as she looks at the bedsheets.
Ahana:"A..aryan is bed wetting? But.. I omg.. The kidnapping and Neil in hospital..he."
Angali:(coming into the kids room)"Ahanaaa?"
Ahana quickly drops the bedsheets and rushes out to see Angali looking for her.
Ahana:"Maa what happened "
Angali:"Nothing Neil and the kids are calling you"
Ahana:"Yeah..Yeah I am going. Maa can you give them this game. I have to check something before heading there."
Angali:"Yeah no problem "(Angali left. Ahana went inside and cleaned the bedsheet. She changed Aryan's bedsheets again so it matched everything else. She then started to head back to her room still lost in the thought of what to do.)
Aryan was traumatized and why wouldn't be. He was kidnapped and kept there for more then 24 hours and then saw his dad get shot. Ansh was also there, but he was smaller then Aryan. He understood less. Plus Aryan was there to save Ansh, but no one was there to save Aryan from all this. Ahana's heart broke thinking of this.
Ansh:"Mumma come fast your missing the game."(He yelled as he saw Ahana enter.)
Ahana:"Y..yeah"(She goes and sits next to Naira. As everyone plays the game she notices Aryan is mostly sitting next to Neil. She decides she needs to talk to Neil about all this.)
After few hours of playing, Ahana saw Neil was getting tired. She even saw Aryan already sleeping hugging Neil. So she decided to send the kids to play outside with other family members.
Ahana:"Naira Ansh baby Papa is getting tired now. So why don't you go out and play with Ryan or Sameer bhaiya"
Naira:"Okay mumma"(Ansh and Naira run out while Neil settled back a little relaxing while patting Aryan head as Ahana cleaned the bed up. She looked at Neil and thought this was the best time to talk about this problem )
Ahana:"Neil.."
Neil:"Hmm?"
Ahana:"I need to talk to you about something "
Neil:(Sensing the seriousness in her voice he looked up)"what happened ?"
Ahana:"Neil I..I it's about Aryan."
Neil:"Aryan?(He looks down at Aryan )
Ahana:"yes Neil. Actually from yesterday only I am noticing him being off and distance. Unlike Ansh and Naira, he isn't in a joyful mood. "
Neil:"Yeah I also noticed this."
Ahana:"To..today when I went to the kids room. I found Aryan bedsheet. Wet. He..he is bedwetting "
Neil:"What! But.."
Ahana:"Maybe he..he is traumatized. Kidnapping and you getting shot might have effected him alot. Plus for Ansh, Aryan was there to protect him but for Him no one was there."
Neil:(Getting tears in his eyes as he ran his hands through Aryan's hair)"I..I...it my fault. Kunal wouldn't have kidnapped the kids if..if..I.."
Ahana:(Sitting next to Neil and with her hands cupping his face)"No Neil it's not your fault. It's not anyone's fault. We shouldn't be thinking about this. We just have to focus on helping Aryan. Giving him his confidence back. Helping him open up to us."
Neil nods as he stares into Ahana's assuring eyes. They both stay in the same position staring into each other eyes. Ahana slowly moves her eyes from his eyes to the rest of his face when something hits her. What is she doing? She is supposed to put distance between them not come closer. She jerks back and stands up causing Neil to look at her shocked.
Ahana:"I...I.. I have to go"(As Ahana starts to leave Neil holds her hand stopping her)
Neil:"Ahana. "
Ahana:(not looking at him)"Hmm?"
Neil:"Ahana look at me. What happened ? Why are you ignoring me?"
Ahana:"Ignoring you ? why would I ignore you? And how can I ignore you if I am talking to you?"(She said still not looking into his eyes )
Neil:"If your not ignoring me then why aren't you looking into my eyes when talking"
Ahana:"I..."
Neil:"Stop with the excuses Ahana and tell me what's going on. You know you can talk to me about anything right?(He said the last part softly )
Ahana:(Slowly turning to him)"I..I.. wan."
Ansh:(From outside)"Mummmaaaaa. Come here fastttt"(Ahana jerks at Ansh voice and remove Neil's grip from her and runs away.)
Neil:(To himself ) "How long will you run Ahana. I will find out what's wrong with you. And I will fix it. Because I don't like you ignoring me. I want the old Ahana back. (He sighs in frustration then turns to Aryan to snuggles into him for in his sleep)"And I will solve your problem as well champ. You don't have to worry about anything. You don't need to be scared of anything. Your dad is here na. He won't let anything happen to his family."(Neil kisses Aryan forehead)
