After the video call ended, Ahana and Neil made the kids sleep. Then they went to their respective rooms and were lost in their thoughts. After some time sleep took over them.
Next morning when the duo woke up they got to know that their marriage date was finalized after 2 weeks. They also got to know that their Engagement was kept this Friday.
Ahana:"Maa I am gonna go drop Ansh to school "
Prabha:"Okay beta but come home fast Angali ji is coming today."
Ahana:"okay "(Ahana left to drop Ansh )
After sometime she reached home and saw Angali preeti and Shruti already here. Ahana went and touched Angali's feet to get blessing and smiled at Preeti and Shruti.
Angali:"beta If your free today then I was thinking why not we go and get ur engagement dress. Anyways only 2 days are left for it."
Ahana:"I am free Aunty"
Angali:"This is not done Ahana"(She said getting angry)
Ahana:"Ahh I am sorry aunty if I did something wrong"(She said getting confused to why Angeli got angry suddenly )
Angali:(Standing up and cupping Ahana's face)"See beta you are gonna be the new daughter in law of Malhotra house. You will be family. NO...You are family. And in that case I would your mom. So why this Aunty then"
Ahana:(Emotional)M...Maa..."(Angali, Shruti and Preeti look on confused as Ahan excuses her self and runs in her room)
Prabha:"Actually... She got emotional because of her parents."
Preeti:"Its okay aunty we understand."
After few mins Ahana comes out with her purse as the ladies head out for shopping. After shopping for the engagement dress, it was around 1. The Ladies decided to have lunch outside. Everyone was seated and enjoying their lunch when Preeti's phone rang.
Preeti:"ji Neil bhaiya"(Hearing Neil's name, Ahana looked up)
On Call.
Neil:"Preeti actually I need a favor."
Preeti:"Yes bhaiya"
Neil:"ummm Actually we have a important meeting in an hour. Rohan bhaiya, Sid , dad , me we all are busy. I called mom but her call went busy so can you aur bhabhi go pick up Aryan and Naira."
Preeti:"sure Bhaiya I'll pick them up."
Neil:"Thanks Preeti "
Preeti:"No problem Bhaiya."(And ended the call)
Angali:"what happened beta"
Preeti:"mummyji actually Bhaiya has a meeting so he was asking if any of us could pick up the kids"
Angali:"Per humhe toh engagement rings leni thi abhi."
Ahana:"Okay aunty...I mean Mom. You all can go decided the engagement rings. I anyways have to pick up Ansh. I'll pick up Naira and Aryan as well"
Angali:(smiled liking the idea)"That's great then. I'll call Rahul to send another car here you can take that"(Ahana nodded)
After finishing her lunch, Ahana headed out to see a car waiting for her. She smiles at the driver as she settled down in the back. She gave the address of Ansh's school to the driver.
Ahana:"You can drop me hear. There is too much traffic, I'll just walk. If not we will be late."
Driver:"Alright maam, I'll just park the car here and wait "(Ahana nodded)
Ahana went to Ansh's school. For about 5 mins she stood outside and waited for Ansh to come.
Ansh:(Running to her )"mumma.."
Ahana:"Hey baby.."(She said as she kissed his cheeks and pick him up. She starts heading towards the car while Ansh is in her arms talking)
Ansh:(Seeing the car)"Mumma did papa come to pick me up"(he asked excited )
Ahana:"no baby. Actually papa has a important meeting."
Ansh:"ohh"(he said become sad as They settled in the car and the driver started to drive to Aryan and Naira's school )
Ahana:"Baby dont be sad plz. What happened if papa can't come I am here right. And guess what we are gonna pick up Aryan and Naira also then we 4 will go watch a movie what say."
Ansh:"Promise "
Ahana:"yes my cutie pie "(Ahana said pulling his cheeks while he whined to which she laughed)
Soon they reached Aryan and Naira's school. Ahana told the driver to wait in the car while she and Ansh go get the kids. She held Ansh's hand as they walked to the front gate of the school. Most of the kids were already released and with their parents. Ahana was searching for Aryan and Naira when she saw Naira standing next to a lady crying. She rushed towards them with Ansh. As she got closer she heard some of their talks and also noticed Aryan standing next to Naira.
Aryan:"I did nothing wrong he.."(was cut of by the lady who yelled in anger)
Lady:"Now ur gonna argue with me. I am elder then you where are your manner. Oh wait your mother might have not taught you. I know what can fix you."(Saying this she raised her hand to slap Aryan when Ahana came on time and held her hand in between)
Ahana:"How dare you raise your hand on my son."(She asked in anger. She jerked the lady's hand and turned to Aryan and Naira. She cupped both of their faces and asked in a worried tone)"Your fine na baby.."(She pulls them both in a hug. She break the hug and looks at the lady as she speaks)
Lady:"So ur his mother. Teach your kid something. How can he push my son."
Ahana:"First of all I don't know what happened so I am gonna ask my kids before talking on that topic because I can assure you no kid would push another kid just for fun. And Secondly this doesn't give you any right to raise ur hand on my kid or any other kid"
Lady:"What's there to ask?"(she huffed)
Ahana:(ignored the lady's comment and turned to Aryan who was looking down while Ansh was standing next to Naira hugging her)"Aryan Beta what happened that you had to push him"(She asked in a soft voice. Aryan said nothing. Ahana sighs and sat on her knees. She cupped Aryan's face )"Baby if you don't tell me what happened then how can I help you. plz tell me"
Aryan:"He"(Pointing at the lady'skid)"Was bullying Naira's friend. When she tried to stop him he pushed her and was going to slap her. before he cloud slap her I pushed him. That when Aunty came."
Ahana:(Standing up )"Now do you have anything to say?"
Lady:"I ..ah.."
Ahana:"(to the kid)"See I am not gonna yell at you or tell you that you did wrong because I am sure by now you already know what you did. You shouldn't bully little kids. Your age is to study and have fun. (turning to the lady)" and all I can say to you is that I don't find anything wrong with what my son did. He Protected his sister which is every brother right. And before hitting anyone first try to find out the truth even if it's your own kid.(turning to the kids )"let's go kids"
Ahana picked up Naira in her arms who was still crying. She grabbed Ansh's hand who grabbed Aryan's hand as they headed to the car. Ahana put all their bags in the passenger seat as she and the kids settled down in the back. She gave the driver directions to the next destination while she started to console Naira.
