Nika POV
I drove, Tate in the passenger seat, and Paige and Abby catching up in the back. I handed Tate my phone, her looking at me weirdly.
"What is it?" Her eyebrows raised, cute.
"You wanna play music?"
She nodded, going to Spotify. She looked through playlist of mine, landing on the one I made for her.
"What's in this one?"
I shrugged, "Nothing much." Lie. Over the last week, I've created that playlist of songs that made me think of her, or songs she said she liked.
She scrolled through it, "Some of these are cute songs, others...not as much."
I chuckled, "Bebo?"
"Hmm."
"Those are songs that make me think of you," She smiled, playing the playlist. First song to play was Collide by Justine Skye featuring Tyga.
Her face goes red, mine mirroring, "This reminds you of me?"
"Yeah, um..." I paused, not knowing what to say.
Without saying anything, she grabbed my hand, placing it on her thigh. She sends me a smile, "What?"
"Why'd you do that?"
"I like when your hands sits here," She shrugged, fiddling with my fingers.
"Whatever you want, pretty girl," Immediately, her face went red.
"Uh, guys?" Paige asked in the back, "You know we're still here, right?"
I laugh, Tate moving to look out her window, "Yeah, we know."
"Are they always like this?" Abby whispered to Paige, her snickering.
"Yes, yes they are," She answered, I give her a look through the mirror.
"And what's wrong with it?" I asked, Paige's eyes widened.
"You heard me?" I nod, "Well, it's not a bad thing, it's kinda..."
"Kinda what?"
"It's, like, cute sometimes. Then you have those times where you make everyone want to let you guys have the room."
Tate whips her head back, I laugh, "What do you mean?"
Paige groans, "Just...like the moment from seconds ago. Y'all flirt so hard sometimes, it's like y'all tryna go at it in seconds."
Tate's face turns blood red, "I didn't think it was that bad."
"Nika pretty much said she wants to have sex with you. I mean, come on. The song reminding her of you?"
"Okay, fine, but..." Tate's flustered, I rub her thigh slightly.
"Baby, it's okay. She's just jealous," I look at Paige through the mirror again, noticing Abby laughing.
"What?!? I am not!"
"Sure twin," I say before looking back at Tate, she was covering her face.
"Bebo, stop covering your beautiful face. I wanna be able to see it," I smirk, she gives me a look.
"SEE!" Paige yells, Abby not being able to contain her laughter anymore.
"Paige, girl, she's doing it to mess with you now," Abby says through laughs.
"No, there's actually no way. She's does this all the time, and I mean ALL the time," I laugh, Paige sending me death glare.
"What? I can't say my girlfriend is beautiful?"
"I didn't.... you know what? I'm done talking," Paige crossed her arms, sitting back in her seat.

Tate POV
We made it to the restaurant, thank God. Nika decided the teasing would start in the car, her hand slowly making its way up my thigh, messing with the waistband of my pants. I eventually had to remove her hand from my body, placing it on her own thigh. I got a look from her, leading to a pout.
Now, we're sitting at a table, at a nice place, and she keeps looking at me. Not saying anything, just looking.
"What's wrong, Nika?" No response, she looked away, focusing on the girls in front of us.
I couldn't understand her mood. Maybe it was from the loss a while ago, or maybe I said or did something. Whatever it is, I need it fixed soon. I don't like Nika not talking to me.
I scoot my chair closer, trying to break some of the space, her not even glancing in my direction. So, I decide to lay my head on her shoulder. We were waiting for the food to come out anyway, so this wouldn't be too weird.
"Nika," I try to get her attention, "Baby, why are you not talking to me?"
She looks at me, then looks back away. I get up, feeling weird with how she's acting. So, I scoot my chair back where it was and waited patiently for the food to come out.
"Uhh, Tate, you good?" Paige asked, I nodded.
"I just gotta go to the bathroom," I get up, making my way to the bathroom. I look behind me to see if Nika even looks at me, she didn't.
I sit in a stall, just letting the frustration cool down. I just don't understand. I'm getting ready to get out when someone walks through the door. Nika.
"Bebo, you okay?" I don't answer.
"I'm sorry," She blurts out, "I just....after games there's a lot of press and media and..."
I open the door, "Do you not wanna be seen with me?"
"No, it's not that, of course I wanna be seen with you, it's just that...." She pauses, "I'm not out to my family yet, and I didn't want them to find out through the media, and...um.."
I stood there in disbelief, "Are you serious?"
"Are you mad?"
I sigh, "Yes but no."
She looks down at her feet, "I'm really sorry, Ta, I just...I don't know, I got scared."
I walk over to her, "Nika, you could have told me, like, to prepare me. I didn't like you ignoring me. You could've at least talked to me, not ignore my whole existence."
She pulls me in by my waist, her hands finding their place, "I know, and I'm sorry. It was a terrible thing for me to do. I should have explained, I'm really, really sorry, bebo."
I sigh, walking out of her grasp, even though I didn't want too, "It's fine, I guess."
She tilts her head, a smirk playing at her lips, "You guess? Pretty girl, I'll do anything to make it up to you."
"Anything?"
She pulls me back in, her hands lifting my shirt so her hands could rest on my bare skin, "Anything."
"I'll have to think about it," Before all the words leave my mouth, Nika's is on my neck, leaving soft kisses.
Between kisses, she says, "I'll do anything, baby. Anything at any time."
"Hmm," I managed out, Nika was good at what she did, and that happened to be everything.
"Words, lijepa djevojka," The way the words rolled off her tongue, her accent coming out so slightly. I needed her.
"I need you," She raised her head with my words, her smirk bigger than ever.
"Right now?" I nodded.
"Okay, baby."

Nika POV
I felt bad for ignoring Tate, I don't know why I thought that was the best way to go about it. Anyway, I made it up, ever so slightly. Even though we probably could've been kicked out for how loud she was getting, but we didn't.
"Sorry we took so long, we had a conversation about somethings that needed to be talked about," I said, quickly sitting down, interrupting Paige's and Abby's talking.
"Sure, that's what you were doing," Paige finally looks at me, her eyes scan my face, she starts laughing.
"What is it?"
"You got a little...something on your face," I quickly take a napkin, wiping all of my face making sure to get everything.
"Am I good now?"
"So much for not doing anything," Abby whispers, Paige chuckles.
"Sorry it took me so long, we talked then I had to actually use the bathroom," Tate says while rushing from the bathroom.
Abby and Paige burst out into laughter. My face turns red, Tate looks confused.
"Baby," She looks at me, "They know."
Her cheeks flush red, "Oh."
"Was that what those noises were? Jesus, you guys are loud," Paige says, causing me to kick her from underneath the table, "OWW!"
"Shut up then," I yell, "And it's all Tate anyway."
I get slapped in the arm, "OWW! I didn't lie though, did I?"
"Maybe not, but it doesn't mean you gotta go around saying it!" She looked as if she was going to bust, her face has never been so red.
"Sorry, pretty girl," I scoot my chair closer to hers, placing my hand on her thigh. She relaxes just a bit.
A smirk plays on her lips, she leans into me, whispering in my ear, "You'll just have to make it up to me again."
"Round two sounds fine with me," I say, in a not so whispery way.
"NIKA! That's supposed to stay between us," She palmed her face, making me laugh a little.
"Sorry, bebo, but I think they already know," I point towards Abby and Paige, looks of disbelief sitting on their faces.
"Alright, that's enough guys," Paige says, Abby looking down at her hands.
"Yeah, why don't we change the subject, please," The brunette speaking, the blonde next to her nodding.
"So, what you guys wanna talk about," I say awkwardly.
A/N: Soooooooo...I'm sick, and I hate it. Also, if this chapter is trash, it was the sickness taking over my mind. I promise.
I went and seen the new Beetlejuice movie, it's literally so good. Not as good as the original one, but for a sequel, it's really good.
Is anyone else having problems with tiktok? Cause I'll try to post an edit and it's like, 'nope, not today,' it's so frustrating.
These author's notes have become me rambling at this point, so, anyways.....
Peace y'all, 'til the next chapter
