The morning sun filtered through the living room as Taehyung slipped on his shoes, preparing to leave.

It was Saturday, his day off, and after staying over to help Jungkook the previous night, he figured it was only fair to finally head home.

Jimin, who had been lazily scrolling through his phone, suddenly perked up. "Wait Tae! I’ve got news!" he said, excitement lighting up his face.

Throughout these months Taehyung and Jimin became close friends ,as if soulmates. Sharing gossips weren't much of a big deal now.

Taehyung straightened up, mirroring Jimin’s enthusiasm. "I’m all ears, Chim!"

Jungkook, who was sitting on the couch playing with Jaybum, looked up momentarily, his attention subtly fixed on their conversation despite pretending otherwise.

"Yoongi hyung called me to your place tomorrow," Jimin said shyly, his lips twitching into a small smile.

Taehyung’s eyebrows shot up. "A date, is it?" he teased, nudging Jimin with his elbow.

"What? No, Tae! It’s not like that!" Jimin protested, his face turning a light shade of pink. "You know Agust D’s new album drops tomorrow. He just said we should listen to it together."

"So...a music date," Taehyung smirked, his teasing intensifying.

Jimin groaned, burying his face in his hands. "Gosh, Tae, stop being weird! We’re all going to listen to it together—Yoongi, you, and me. I was just letting you know."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Who's ‘we’? I’m not third-wheeling! I’ll crash at Namjoon hyung’s place or something."

"Oh, come on. You don’t have to avoid it," Jimin reasoned, rolling his eyes. "It’s not like that."

Taehyung just smirked playfully, grabbing his bag. "I’ll think about it. Anyway, I’m heading out. See you later, Chim."

Just as Taehyung reached for the door, Jungkook cleared his throat, standing up from the couch.

"Taehyung, wait. I’ll drop you off."

Taehyung blinked in surprise. "Mr. Jeon, you don’t have to. I can manage just fine," he said, hesitating.

Jungkook shook his head. "Come on, you didn’t bring your car last night, right? Let me drop you off."

Taehyung hesitated again, but then he realized Jungkook was right—he hadn’t brought his car, having rushed over in a panic the night before. Finally, with a small nod, he relented.

As he bent down to tie his shoes, he felt something warm drape over his shoulders. Startled, he looked up to see Jungkook adjusting his coat on him.

"It’s cold outside," Jungkook murmured, his fingers brushing lightly against Taehyung’s shoulders as he made sure the coat fit snugly.

Taehyung froze, his face heating up, but he managed to nod. "Th-Thank you," he stammered, unable to meet Jungkook’s eyes.

Jungkook nodded, stepping away. "Wait here. I forgot my car keys. I’ll grab them real quick," he said before disappearing back inside.

The room fell quiet for a moment before Jimin, who had been silently watching the entire interaction,

"You know," Jimin said, crossing his arms with a teasing smirk, "Jungkook never shares his clothes with anyone."

Taehyung turned to glare at Jimin, his face still slightly red. "What are you trying to imply, Chim?"

Jimin leaned casually against the wall, clearly enjoying himself. "Oh, nothing. I’m just saying—it’s interesting. He has a whole stash of spare clothes for guests, but he gave you his shirt.

And now his coat? You tell me what that means."

Taehyung rolled his eyes, trying to hide how flustered he was. "It’s nothing, Chim. It was just an emergency. That’s all."

Jimin snorted, raising an eyebrow knowingly. "Sure, Tae. Keep telling yourself that. But for the record, I’ve been staying over here for years, and Jungkook’s never handed me his favorite shirt. Even though I'm his favorite cousin.Just saying."

Before Taehyung could retort, Jungkook returned with his keys. "Ready to go?" he asked, looking between the two of them.

"Y-Yeah," Taehyung said, grateful for the distraction as he hurriedly followed Jungkook out, leaving Jimin behind with a victorious grin plastered across his face.

The drive back to Taehyung’s place was quiet but strangely comforting. Taehyung sat with Jungkook’s coat wrapped tightly around him, his fingers clutching the fabric.

The faint scent of Jungkook clung to it, warm and calming. Though the temptation to lift it closer to his nose and inhale deeply was strong, he held himself back.

He couldn’t—not when Jungkook was right there beside him.

The silence lingered until Jungkook broke it, his voice soft yet firm. "I... um... I didn’t mean to overhear, but if you’re not staying home tomorrow and were thinking about crashing at Namjoon’s, then don’t."

Taehyung blinked, turning his head toward Jungkook.

"Huh? Why?"

"Namjoon’s out of town for work," Jungkook explained, his eyes fixed on the road.

"Oh..." Taehyung muttered, his lips forming a small "o" as he processed the information. His mind raced with alternatives. He didn’t want to intrude on Jimin and Yoongi’s day, but now he wasn’t sure where he could go.

As if reading his thoughts, Jungkook spoke again, his tone a little hesitant. "Uh... if you don’t have any other plans, , though it's you holiday...you could... come to our place tomorrow. If you don’t mind, that is."

Taehyung’s eyes widened slightly, taken aback by the offer. Before he could respond, Jungkook added quickly, "I like it when you’re around."

Taehyung froze, his heart skipping a beat.

But Jungkook immediately coughed, correcting himself.

"I mean—Jaybum likes it when you’re around."

Taehyung’s lips curled into a small smile as he glanced out the window to hide his expression. "I... um... okay. If you say so," he replied softly, the warmth in his chest undeniable.

The car slowed as they reached Taehyung’s apartment. Taehyung unbuckled his seatbelt and stepped out, but instead of heading inside, he walked around to Jungkook’s window and knocked lightly.

Jungkook rolled the window down, glancing up at him.

"Thank you for the ride," Taehyung said, bending slightly to meet Jungkook’s gaze. "And I’ll return your coat and shirt soon."

"Don’t worry about it," Jungkook replied, shrugging it off like it was nothing.

Taehyung hesitated for a moment before straightening up. "Okay then, Mr. Jeon, I’ll head—"

"Taehyung."

The sound of his name stopped him mid-sentence. He turned back, eyebrows raised in question.

Jungkook’s grip on the steering wheel tightened slightly, but his gaze was steady as he said, "Call me Jungkook from now on."

Taehyung blinked, his heart skipping another beat. Before he could respond, Jungkook started the car, already pulling away.

Taehyung stood there in the soft glow of the streetlight, Jungkook’s coat still wrapped around him, feeling something shift inside his heart.

It was a small gesture, but it carried so much weight.

As the taillights disappeared down the street, Taehyung let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. "Jungkook..." he whispered to himself, his lips curling into a shy smile as he turned to head inside.

Jungkook drove back home. His heart and mind recall the oast incidents. Oh how Taehyung held him last night... The warmth even he was a vampire.

And the kiss this morning? Jungkook somewhat felt greedy for some reason.

His eyes fall on his phone that was now wide open ....he smiled staring at the wallpaper...

It was a new feeling but something he was asking more of..
