The sun had barely risen above the rooftops when Taehyung stepped out of his new home, his polished shoes clicking softly against the pavement.

With a confident stride and Yoongi’s encouragement still echoing in his ears, he made his way toward the address Namjoon had sent.

The streets of Seoul were alive with the morning rush, and Taehyung found himself captivated by the vibrant energy of the city.

He had decided to walk, partly to familiarize himself with the area and partly to shake off the nervous energy buzzing in his veins.

As he approached an intersection, he stepped onto the crosswalk, only to hear the sharp screech of tires.

Everything happened in an instant. A car skidded to a halt just inches from where he stood, the sudden gust of air ruffling his perfectly styled hair.

Taehyung stumbled back, his heart racing.

“What the.....” he muttered, steadying himself.

The car door slammed shut, and out stepped a man radiating authority and irritation. His scent hit Taehyung immediately,an alpha.

“Don’t you have eyes?” the man snapped, his voice sharp and commanding.

Taehyung blinked, his initial shock quickly replaced by indignation. “Don’t I have eyes? Maybe you should learn to drive carefully! I almost died!”

The alpha scoffed, folding his arms. “You were in my way! Learn how to cross a street, vampire.”

The word vampire dripped with disdain, and Taehyung’s eyes narrowed. He squared his shoulders, his pride refusing to let him back down.

“Vampire or not, I know how to cross a street! Maybe werewolves like you should try not driving like maniacs!”

The alpha’s jaw tightened, his piercing gaze locked on Taehyung. “Atleast Werewolves don’t lure people in and betray them. We don’t kill out of hunger.”

Taehyung’s blood boiled at the accusation. “Excuse me? Not all vampires are bloodthirsty killers, just like not all werewolves are loyal lapdogs. Get your facts straight.”

Their heated argument was cut short by a traffic officer’s stern voice. “Both of you, move along.

You’re holding up traffic!”

Only then did Taehyung realize the chaos around them,a long line of cars honking and pedestrians watching the spectacle with interest. His cheeks flushed slightly as he stepped aside, muttering under his breath.

The alpha glared at him one last time before turning back to his car, slamming the door, and speeding off.

Taehyung exhaled sharply, trying to calm his racing heart. “Great. Just great. My day starts with a cocky alpha who clearly has no manners,” he grumbled to himself as he resumed his walk.

Despite the unpleasant encounter, he forced himself to refocus. Today was about proving himself, and he wouldn’t let some arrogant werewolf ruin his mood.

Still, a part of him couldn’t help but wonder who that infuriating alpha was.

Unbeknownst to him, their paths were destined to cross again.

Timeskip -

The towering skyscraper stood before Taehyung like a challenge, its sleek glass windows reflecting the morning sun. He read the name engraved in bold letters on the entrance—*JEONS.*

“This is it,” Taehyung whispered to himself, clutching the folder in his hands.

With a final deep breath, he stepped inside.

The reception area was polished to perfection, bustling with activity. After asking for directions to the interview, he was informed that the interviews were being conducted on the top floor—directly by the CEO.

The CEO?* Taehyung’s nerves tightened at the thought. Wasn’t that unusual? CEOs rarely bothered with interviews themselves.

He made his way to the elevator and pressed the button for the 14th floor, his heart racing. The quiet hum of the elevator offered no comfort, and as the floor number ticked upward, he found himself fidgeting with the edge of his blazer.

When the elevator doors opened with a soft ding, Taehyung stepped out into a large, open lobby filled with candidates. He froze.

There were *dozens* of them, each looking sharp and confident or trying to, at least. Taehyung’s nerves only grew worse as he found a seat, his eyes darting around the room.

For what felt like an eternity, he watched people go in and out of the interview room. Most left within minutes, their faces pale or streaked with frustration.

“The CEO is brutal,” someone whispered nearby, their voice tinged with dread. “He doesn’t even let you finish answering before cutting you off.”

“Yeah,” another muttered. “Jeon Jungkook doesn’t hold back. They say he’s a perfectionist. One wrong move, and you’re done.”

Taehyung's thoughts were interrupted by the secretary’s voice. “Kim Taehyung?”

Taehyung jumped to his feet, gripping his folder tightly. It was his turn.

The secretary gestured to the large door at the end of the hallway, the nameplate gleaming under the lights: *CEO Jeon Jungkook.*

Taking a deep breath to steady his nerves, Taehyung approached the door. He raised his hand and knocked softly.

“Come in,” a deep voice called from the other side.

Taehyung’s heart skipped a beat. There was something commanding about that voice, something that sent a shiver down his spine.

He turned the handle and stepped inside.

The office was massive, the floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning view of the city. A sleek black desk dominated the room, and behind it sat a man with sharp features and an air of authority.

Taehyung’s breath hitched. The man in front of him wasn’t just the CEO.

It was the same alpha he had argued with earlier that morning.

Jeon Jungkook looked up from his papers, his eyes narrowing the moment they landed on Taehyung. Recognition flashed in his gaze, followed by something colder.

“You,” Jungkook said, his voice low but heavy with irritation.

The tension in the CEO’s office was thick, the air charged with the clash of Taehyung and Jungkook’s heated argument.

“You!” Taehyung exclaimed, pointing at Jungkook.

“Ain’t no way in hell I’ll let you work here, let alone interview,” Jungkook growled, his sharp tone cutting through the air.

“I’d rather die than work with an arrogant alpha like you,” Taehyung shot back, his hands clenched at his sides.

“Don’t cross your line, vampire,” Jungkook snarled, slamming his fist on the desk with enough force to make Taehyung flinch slightly.

“Stop showing your anger in front of me! You’re not the only one who knows how to get angry,” Taehyung retorted, stepping forward to close the gap between them.

Jungkook’s nostrils flared. “What do you think of yourself, huh? First, you waste my time in the morning, and now you’re wasting it again!”

“I wasted your time?” Taehyung laughed bitterly. “You were the one who almost killed me!”

"I almost killed you?!!"Jungkook exclaimed

“yeah right,What can I expect from a vampire? Always making everything complicated,” Jungkook scoffed, rolling his eyes.

Taehyung’s expression turned colder. “I just don’t get what’s up with your hatred toward vampires. If you have a problem with me, say it to my face, but don’t you dare drag my species into this.”

Jungkook opened his mouth to argue, but before he could speak, the door to his office burst open.

“Dadda! Dadda! Look what I made!”

Both men turned toward the voice. A small boy, no older than three, came running into the room, his hands holding up a colorful drawing.

Jungkook’s expression softened instantly, his anger melting away as he bent down to his son’s level. “Oh my god! Who is that? Is it you and me?” he asked, gasping in mock surprise.

Jaybum nodded enthusiastically, beaming with pride.

Taehyung, still fuming from the argument, froze when the boy’s gaze shifted toward him.

“Tae Tae!”
