It was just a few weeks later, a quiet evening at the Jeon mansion. Jungkook was seated comfortably on the couch, the low hum of the TV filling the room.

Beside him, Taehyung sat with Jaybum in his lap, carefully feeding him spoonfuls of soup while occasionally wiping the corners of his mouth like the doting figure he had become.

Jaybum, content as ever, kicked his little feet happily as the program on the screen flickered with bright colors. Everything about the moment felt peaceful, normal—like the small joys of a family settling into their routine.

But then, Jungkook cleared his throat, breaking the calm with a slightly nervous tone. “Tae… um… I—” he hesitated, eyes flickering between the TV and Taehyung, who was still focused on feeding Jaybum. “I was thinking if we could … go out this weekend?”

Taehyung paused mid-spoonful, looking up at Jungkook in curiosity. “This weekend?” he repeated. “Sure, let me know the place so I can pack for Jaybum.”

But before Jungkook could respond, another voice chimed in—this time, in unison.

“No!”

Both Jungkook and Jaybum said it at the same time, startling Taehyung. He blinked, eyebrows knitting together in confusion as he glanced between the two. “What?”

Jaybum, ever the innocent little bean, smiled sweetly at Taehyung. “TaeTae, this weekend I’m staying with Uncle Chimmy!” he chirped. “So you should go with Dadda!”

Taehyung frowned, looking back at Jungkook, whose face had turned a bit red at the unexpected outburst. “What’s this about?” he asked, suspiciously narrowing his eyes.

Jungkook, flustered but determined, rubbed the back of his neck as he leaned a little closer to Taehyung. His voice dropped to a whisper, almost like it was a secret meant just for the two of them. “I want us to go there, Tae… just you and me…”

Taehyung’s eyes widened slightly. The words, paired with the softness in Jungkook’s voice, sent a warmth spreading across his face. He blinked once, then twice, as his mind processed what Jungkook was asking. Was this…?

“A date?” Taehyung whispered back, his cheeks tinged a light shade of pink.

Jungkook smiled softly at the sight of him blushing but didn’t say the word out loud. Instead, he simply nodded. “Yeah… just us.”

Taehyung couldn’t help but smile back, feeling an unfamiliar mix of excitement and nervousness bubble in his chest. “Okay then,” he said quietly, nodding in agreement.

From his spot on Taehyung’s lap, Jaybum clapped his hands happily, clearly pleased with himself. “See? Now you two can have fun!”

Taehyung chuckled softly, ruffling Jaybum’s hair. “And you’ll behave at Uncle Chimmy’s, right?”

Jaybum nodded furiously, his grin wide. “I promise!”

Jungkook, meanwhile, watched Taehyung with a softness in his gaze that he couldn’t hide. The thought of spending an entire day with just Taehyung—no distractions, no interruptions—felt almost surreal.

A date with Taehyung felt surreal. Maybe a dinner, some talkings ,and maybe some kisses.

It wasn’t something he’d imagined himself wanting before, yet now it was all he could think about.

But as the evening went on and laughter filled the room again, neither Jungkook nor Taehyung knew what lay ahead of them.

Because, oh—only if they knew.......

The next day arrived with a quiet buzz of excitement hanging in the air. Taehyung found himself in front of his wardrobe, fingers running over the fabrics of neatly hung clothes.

Today wasn’t just any day—it was a night he wanted to remember, one that he hoped would hold a special place in his heart.

He reached for a sleek black outfit, something understated yet elegant, perfectly suited for the evening. The soft material slipped easily over his shoulders, hugging him just right.

He paired it with subtle accessories—a silver chain that rested delicately against his collarbones, a thin bracelet that caught the light with every movement, and small rings adorning his fingers.

Taehyung then moved to his mirror, brushing a hand through his soft brown locks. His gaze lingered on his reflection for a moment  before he reached for his makeup bag. He rarely wore makeup outside of special occasions, but something about tonight made him want to feel... beautiful.

For himself.

For Jungkook.

A soft dusting of blush brought color to his cheeks, and a gentle swipe of gloss made his lips shimmer.

His lashes curled delicately with a touch of mascara, framing his soulful eyes. He tilted his head, inspecting his work before offering himself a small, shy smile.

“I hope Jungkook will like it” he whispered to his reflection, heart fluttering at the thought of Jungkook’s reaction.

With a deep breath, Taehyung stood, brushing invisible creases from his outfit before stepping out of his room. His boots clicked softly against the  floor as he descended the staircase, his mind racing with thoughts of the night ahead.

Downstairs, Yoongi was lounging on the couch, scrolling through his phone, when he noticed Taehyung approach. He looked up, his sharp eyes widening slightly at the sight of his brother.

“Well, well, someone’s dressed to impress,” Yoongi teased, a sly smirk curling at the corner of his lips.

Taehyung rolled his eyes playfully but couldn’t hide the faint blush that crept up his neck. “Hyung,” he said softly, brushing past Yoongi .

“I’ll be out with Jungkook tonight,” Taehyung replied, slipping his arms into his coat. “Don’t wait up for me. I’ll be late.”

Yoongi's expression shifted to excitement. “Well, you’re lucky. I’m not going to be here, anyway. Jimin invited me over for a sleepover at his place,” he said, practically bouncing at the thought. “And Jaybum’s coming too—it’s going to be chaos, but fun chaos!”

Taehyung chuckled softly at his hyung’s enthusiasm. “Sounds like a good time,” he said warmly.

Yoongi laughed, leaning back against the couch with a satisfied grin. “Alright, alright. Go have fun."

Taehyung shook his head, biting back a laugh as he made his way to the door. With one last glance at Yoongi, he said, “Enjoy your sleepover."

“Don’t worry about me, bear,” Yoongi replied with a grin.

On the other hand,

The evening sky was painted in hues of amber and pink as Jungkook’s sleek black car pulled up in front of Jimin’s house.

In the backseat, Jaybum clutched his favorite plushie—a small bear wearing a cape—with a gleam of excitement sparkling in his doe eyes.

His little legs swung back and forth as he eagerly waited for his dad to unbuckle him.

Jungkook stepped out of the car, adjusting the strap of the bag he had packed for Jaybum. He opened the back door and leaned in, carefully unbuckling his son’s seatbelt. Jaybum giggled, clutching his plushie tighter as Jungkook lifted him out of the car.

“Alright, buddy, let’s go see Uncle Chimmy,” Jungkook said with a soft smile.

Jaybum nodded enthusiastically, his tiny hand reaching for Jungkook’s. Together, they walked up to the front door, Jungkook balancing Jaybum’s overnight bag on his shoulder.

After ringing the doorbell twice, the door swung open, revealing Jimin with his signature bright smile. “Oh, look who’s here!” Jimin exclaimed, his voice filled with warmth.

“Uncle Chimmy!” Jaybum squealed in delight, breaking free from Jungkook’s hand and running into Jimin’s open arms.

Jimin crouched down, wrapping Jaybum in a quick but firm hug. “There’s my little bun!” he said, ruffling Jaybum’s soft hair.

As Jimin stood, Jaybum tugged at his sleeve, his eyes wide with anticipation. “When’s kitty vampie coming over?” he asked, referring to Yoongi with the nickname he had affectionately given him.

Jimin chuckled, glancing up at Jungkook before answering. “Soon, bun. He’ll be here soon.”

Jungkook raised a brow at Jimin. “Hyung’s coming too?” he asked, curious.

Jimin nodded. “Yeah, we planned a movie night. It’ll be fun.”

Jungkook nodded, crouching down to press a soft kiss on Jaybum’s chubby cheek. “Be good for Uncle Chimmy, okay? I’ll be back to pick you up around 11.”

Jaybum nodded, holding his plushie tightly. “I’ll be good, dadda!”

“You don’t need to rush, Kook,” Jimin chimed in, leaning casually against the doorframe. “Jaybum’s stayed with me before. Just enjoy your time with Taehyung, alright?”

Jungkook hesitated but eventually nodded, appreciating Jimin’s reassurance. “Thanks, Chim,” he said sincerely, standing up and ruffling Jaybum’s hair one last time.

As Jungkook turned to head back to his car, Jimin’s voice rang out behind him.

“Kook!”

Jungkook stopped in his tracks, turning to see Jimin jogging over with a sly grin plastered on his face. Before Jungkook could ask, Jimin slid a small packet into the pocket of his pants.

“Seriously?” Jungkook asked, pulling the item out of his pocket to confirm his suspicion. His eyes widened, and a faint blush crept up his cheeks as he realized Jimin had given him condoms. “What the hell, Chim! We’re going on a date, not... not *that*!”

Jimin smirked, crossing his arms over his chest. “Hey, you never know how the night might go.”

Jungkook groaned, stuffing the packet back into his pocket in defeat. “You’re unbelievable,” he muttered, shaking his head as he walked toward his car.

“Just being a good friend!” Jimin called out, laughing as he watched Jungkook retreat.

Jungkook rolled his eyes but couldn’t help the small smile tugging at his lips. Sliding into the driver’s seat, he glanced at the house one last time, seeing Jimin and Jaybum waving at him from the doorway.

As he started the engine, his thoughts shifted to Taehyung, who was probably getting ready right now. A mix of nerves and excitement bubbled in his chest.

“Alright, let’s make this night special,” Jungkook whispered to himself, pulling away from Jimin’s house and heading toward the most anticipated evening of his life.

The sky in soft shades of lavender and gold as Jungkook pulled his car in front of Taehyung's house. His heart thudded in his chest, nerves bubbling in a way he hadn’t felt in years.

He and Taehyung spent nearly every day together, yet tonight felt different—special.

He ran a hand through his hair, exhaling deeply as he tried to calm himself.

“What if he doesn’t like the plan? What if I mess this up?” he muttered to himself.

Shaking off the thought, Jungkook stepped out of the car and made his way to the trunk.

He opened it carefully, revealing a stunning bouquet of white lilies and blush-pink roses wrapped in soft beige paper. The scent was subtle, delicate, and utterly Taehyung.

Clutching the bouquet, Jungkook shut the trunk and took a deep breath.

“Okay, Jeon Jungkook. You’ve got this,” he whispered before making his way to the front door.

He rang the doorbell, his palms suddenly feeling clammy as he waited. Moments later, the door swung open, revealing Taehyung.

And that was when Jungkook froze.

Taehyung stood there, looking nothing short of angelic. He wore a sleek black outfit that accentuated his frame perfectly, paired with subtle silver accessories that shimmered under the warm porch light.

His light makeup highlighted his sharp features, and his smile, soft and shy, made Jungkook’s heart skip a beat.

Jungkook’s breath hitched, his grip on the bouquet tightening as his body betrayed him entirely.

And then, it happened.

“Jungkook!” Taehyung gasped, noticing the sudden trickle of blood running from Jungkook’s nose.

Panicking, he quickly reached into his pocket and pulled out a napkin, stepping closer to press it gently against Jungkook’s nose. “Oh my god, are you okay?! What happened?!”

The contact snapped Jungkook back to reality, his wide eyes meeting Taehyung’s worried gaze. His cheeks flushed crimson as he realized what was happening.

“I-I’m fine,” he stammered, his voice cracking slightly. He winced at himself but managed a sheepish smile.

“Fine?! Jungkook, you’re bleeding! Come inside and rest—we don’t have to go anywhere if you’re not well,” Taehyung insisted, his tone full of concern as he ushered Jungkook toward the door.

“No!” Jungkook exclaimed, stopping Taehyung in his tracks. “It’s not because I’m unwell, Tae.”

Taehyung paused, his brow furrowed as he searched Jungkook’s face for answers.

“I… I just…” Jungkook exhaled, rubbing the back of his neck. “I got a nosebleed because of how—” He hesitated, feeling his pride waver before he decided to just admit the truth. “Because of how ethereal you look.”

Taehyung blinked, his eyes widening as the words registered. His cheeks flushed a deep red, his hands instinctively coming up to cover his face. “W-What?!” he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

“You just…” Jungkook gestured vaguely toward him. “You look incredible, Tae. Like, breathtaking. I couldn’t help it.”

Taehyung peeked at him from behind his hands, his lips twitching into a shy smile. “You’re just saying that to make me feel better,” he murmured.

Jungkook shook his head adamantly. “I mean it. You always look beautiful, but tonight… you’re stunning.”

Taehyung’s blush deepened, and he was at a complete loss for words. Instead, Jungkook took the opportunity to hold out the bouquet of flowers.

“These are for you,” he said softly, his voice carrying a rare tenderness that made Taehyung’s heart flutter.

Taehyung accepted the bouquet with trembling hands, his smile growing as he admired the delicate arrangement.

“They’re beautiful,” he whispered. “Thank you, Kook.”

Jungkook grinned, his confidence returning at the sight of Taehyung’s happiness. “You’re welcome, my prince.”
