Idara's POV
after an hour or so we landed.
Femi had to hold my hand again, it felt like a rollercoaster, that feeling you get while riding it.
And I hated that feeling.
After landing, we walked out of the plane and into the airport. we carried our bags and luggage and soon we were inside another bus similar to the one back.
I looked around, everywhere looked and felt so different. Different people also filled the airport.
I couldn't help my excitement again this time. I looked out the window watching the unfamiliar city and buildings.
So, this was how it felt to be in a foreign area.
"have you been here before?"
I asked Femi whose head was buried in his phone. In fact, everyone was acting normally as if they were used to it. And they were used to it.
He looked up from his phone,
"yeah I have been here before."
"wow." I nodded and faced the window back.
After that the remaining ride was in silence with my face stuck on the window just watching everywhere.
After the long ride we finally reached our destination.
Almost everyone was asleep even Femi beside me and Liz, Angel sitting at my front, but my eyes were wide open.
We were leaded out and we were in some resort of some sort.
The hotel where we would lounge in was right in front of us. I looked around and there was forest surrounding most of the areas.
We were leaded inside after carrying our bags.
The inside of the building looked more modernized than the outside but still had that antique touch to it.
"Peters Idara and Femi Davies, room 25."
"yes sir."
After everyone's room was called, we were told to settle before coming out for dinner.
After checking lots of doors we finally found ours.
Femi opened the door and we both entered.
Everywhere looked lively and great.
Two beds were placed side by side with a bedside table dividing them.
I dropped my bag on the floor and sat down on one. I quickly brought out my phone, removing it from the airplane mode. I called my mum to inform her that we had arrived safely in order to avoid her rage if I didn't.
I told her all about where we were and how we were surrounded by forest and that made matters worse since she was asking if snake might appear, I was even asking myself that question too.
I guess it was all for our biology or geography. To know more about the ecosystem so we were currently in a hotel with forests around it.
The forest was usually used for tourism and since this place contained animals, they also used it as a natural home for animals and I am still not sure why we should go to a forest.
I looked at my partner who was busy with his phone too. His rested his back on the bed with his legs dangling off. Tall guy.
"Aren't you going to inform your parents you are already here?"
I asked him as I laid on the bed too.
"They don't care."
that was his simple reply as he went back to what he was doing.
What did that mean? maybe he is the last born or maybe his parents were too busy. But that doesn't count.
The way he said it sounded like he was hurt and earlier I found him staring sadly at me when I was talking to my mum and laughing at her jokes about snakes.
I guess everyone have their own issues.
I got comfortable in the bed with my phone in my own hands too. Did I forget to mention the hotel had free Wi-Fi.
I was currently on Wattpad, reading an interesting romance book, those typical cliché book.
'He came beside her I love you, violet.'
Ehhh, he has finally admitted, I thought squealing and rolling on my bed because of that sentence.
Typical teenage girl but I don't care at all.
"Are you okay?"
I jumped as I heard someone ask,
Shit!
Femi, Wait Femi is here? thank God I was wearing jeans trouser if not I would have flashed him.
I quickly laughed it off awkwardly
"ehmm....just ..this book jare "
He looked at me with amusement in his eyes and shook his head.
"ahhh u are crazy."
"Everyone is crazy in their own way."
I admitted and with that we both started laughing.
"I was scared oo , I thought your village people have finally caught you ."
"It is you they will catch."
I said with a chuckle grabbing my phone back and reading on.

After lots of bickering between the both of us, it was finally time for dinner.
We went outside together, a tent already set with a fireplace at the middle.
I grabbed my phone and quickly snapped some pics.
I went to Liz and Angel who were in a heated gist and shouted at them
"selfie time!"
They chuckled and then we all snapped lots of pictures together.
I was telling them what happened earlier in the room while eating, well they served the food as ladies first.
When I was done, they were both laughing, I felt someone gaze on me, you know that guts that tells you someone is watching, maybe it was Daniel again.
I looked back and I saw Femi staring at me so intently, I was about to turn back in order to avoid all the butterflies that was about to start.
And then he winked, eweh, I quickly turned back to face Liz and Angel. Why did he do that?
"Idara, why are you blushing like this?" Liz asked making me touch my cheeks surprised.
"I am blushing?" I asked them not believing. My hands were still cupping my cheeks.
"yeah."
Liz answered and gave me that better spill look, which I avoided and faced the other side finding my other classmates interesting.
"Nothing, don't worry."
I said when I could not help it, hoping they will leave the matter alone.
"Ehn, who should not worry? am not going to Warri, talk jare."
I stared at Liz eyes wide opened, did she just say that? since when we first met she was all accent, accent.
When she noticed both Angel and I staring at her she smiled
"what? Idara is rubbing off me. just talk and don't change the topic."
I groaned and faced my food back. This girl should just forget. There was nothing to talk about.
"Talk about what?" I asked her again acting clueless maybe that would work,
"don't worry one day you will tell me what happened by yourself."
"Am not going to Worri, and it's Femi."
Angel finally talked,
" what's wrong with him?"
So, she can talk now. Since we started talking, she was either eating or chuckling after hearing Femi she now decided to talk.
"She has a crush on him."
Liz quickly answered her with an annoying grin on her face.
I spat out my water
"what did you say, crush on who? I don't have a crush on anybody, he winked at me that's all."
I explained to them, but I could see they didn't believe what I was saying. I groaned again, how many times will I do that this night?
Liz nodded and faced her plate.
I was finally happy that she was going to drop the issue until she said
"have you noticed everything Idara has been saying is about Femi?"
After hearing that I groaned again, this is going to be a long night and for once I was grateful my partner was Femi and not these grinning fools here.

I turned on my bed as the loud whistle was blown again, who is the fool blowing the whistle for crying out loud?
I groaned and grabbed a pillow to cover my ear.
"Idara stand up, I have already taken my bath, it's your turn." I heard Femi say.
I did not answer him just pressed the pillow tighter.
"remember the punishment if you are not ready by 8:00am." Femi said again and that finally did it.
I remembered Mr. Johnson also stated that this excursion is also to see our life coping skills.
So, anyone who breached the rules will face a punishment which is to run five laps round a big field at the back of the hotel.
Me, I can't even run half talk less of five.
I finally stood up and muttered a morning to Femi who was already prepared and looked even more handsome in a black jogger which hung low on his hips and white t-shirt talk about a good sight every morning.
I went to my bag and grabbed another black skinny jean, a free black tank top, and my undies which I made sure was out of Femi's sight.
When I was done bathing, I dressed up in the bathroom and then stepped out after about thirty minutes of preparing. we both left the room.
We had an early breakfast today and I guess I was lucky that Liz and Angel decided to drop the topic today. last night was really frustrating. The mosquitoes didn't help issues.
After breakfast we arranged ourselves according to our partners meaning everyone was in a group of two.
We stood in front of the two teachers.
"Good morning everyone, I can see everyone woke up early today. Well today we will be going game hunting. We have 15 pairs here each one of you will be handed your map, so follow the map to get to the treasure, the pair with the highest treasure get lots of things to win.
Who's excited?" Miss Ife asked finishing her explanation.
Everyone clapped in response.
"Grab a bag, a map and you are all ready to go." Mr. Johnson said pointing at the table where everything was placed.
We followed Mr. Johnson's instructions and then the whistle was blownlet the game begin.
Next on TW : " we have five treasures already let's go . ". " There's still one in this area " Femi said again.
