Idara's POV
"Let's break up." I heard Liz say from our back.
I wanted to stay but we had to give them some privacy.
"What's happening?" Ayo asked as he saw both of us leaving the kitchen with a very worried look etched on our face.
Angel explained everything to both Ayo and Femi and thirty minutes later the party was ended.
I just stood looking at the kitchen door hoping they will get back together.
Femi placed his hands on my shoulders rubbing it slowly with his thumbs.
"It'll be fine ."

One month later
"Mercy let's go na. " I shouted again for the third time.i can't believe she brought this her attitude into this new year.
"Am ready." She said with fake American accent.
"When did you start speaking with an accent." I said trying to hold my laugh.
"Well since the time I traveled abroad." She answered back with the same accent and this time I threw a pillow at her and laughed
"Yeye ." I said while laughing.
"Just say you're jealous." She said back picking the pillow and placing it on the chair while chuckling.
We both walked out of the house and into the car where Mr dele the driver was waiting for us .
I was excited to see my friends after after three weeks.
We travelled immediately after we vacated , we went to Los Angeles , we even went to Disneyland.
I also missed Femi so so much , we all traveled to various places and this kind of reminds me about my first day at Royal academy.
We all made sure to call each other ,mostly video call . when the car stopped I quickly stepped out of the car but I guess I wasn't quick as I thought cause Mercy was already talking to her friends.
I carried my bag and waved at her as i walked to the
senior's block.
Excitement was flowing through me as I climbed the stairs.
I felt a tug on my hand and i thought it was Femi but this was not his touch .
I quickly turned back and met Ire smiling at me.
"Hey happy new year." He said standing next to me.
I smiled back "happy new year , I've greeted you before but happy new year oo." I said making him laugh.
We talked about things while walking to the class.
Immediately I entered my two most favourite people shouted from our seats.
"Idara!!" I laughed with my other class as I walked to them with my hands wide opened.
Well Liz being Liz was the first to hug me.
"I missed you like crazy." She said and then Angel joined.
" Me I didn't miss you cause you kept on blasting my phone with messages." She added.
" Pelee , just admit it." I said as we sat down.
I looked over at Femi's row and I caught him staring at me already.
I grinned as i decided to stand up but then our homeroom teacher entered the class.
"Happy new year guys." Miss Mercy said .
We all answered her back well only those who were still willing to answer teachers .
"So this term's first announcement is physical education is now compulsory. I can't believe you guys decided to just skip that subjects and leave it for only the jocks to do. So from this term till next term which you would go , PE will be done on Wednesday.
Meet with the captain to pick the sports you want to do."she said gently in front of the class.
I was definitely choosing swimming. I really want to learn how to swim and since we could choose it I'll just tell my mum that I won't go for the lessons she wanted to pay for .
"Today if a free day , Bye."Â She said ending all the announcements and leaving the class for us.
The guys stood up moments later and walked to our seats including Daniel , if you are wondering how they settled we also don't know .
They left it at a ' it's a personal matter.'. I still think that Daniel was right and I think he has some family issues that made him distant or maybe I should just ask Liz again.
Immediately Femi reached our side looking more handsome than his already very handsome look I hugged him .
"Happy new year." I said and he laughed answering me back
I heard ire say something like 'see her oo.'
We all sat down with the guys adding more chairs and all.
Talking about where we all went to was fun and since we all shared pictures it was more easy to understand.
Femi was sitting behind me and was my twisting my long braids when Britney entered.
I've even forgotten her , I did not even remember she existed till now .
She walked up to us and greeted the guys and then she said
"Femi let's go."
It looks like this girl forgot to carry her sense with her to 2020 . How could she just barge in and just say that.
Hearing that , Femi tensed visibly beside me and I was confused at what was happening.
"Am not going anywhere." He said back at her and then his phone chirped .
He brought it out and muttered a fuck when he read what was on it finish.
He stood up "sorry I gotta go I'll explain later ." He said placing a kiss on my cheeks and carrying his bag then walking out with Britney behind him.
Leaving me with one thought
" What the fuck just happened?"

Femi's POV
Sitting behind Idara and just playing with her hair I watched how Britney entered the class and walked up to us.
What is she doing here again?
I even forgot about the whole vacation.
She and her parents made sure we went to the same place .
"Femi let's go."
I sighed and quickly tensed , not even knowing why oh Idara would probably get the wrong idea cause she was looking at me with a confused look as she said
Who does she think she is.
I answered her back saying am not going and then a message entered my phone.
Mr Davies ; follow Britney we have a lot to talk about .
It's true we do have a lot to talk about. I don't understand why mr davies allowed them to be clingy like this.
I stood up from my seat and told Idara I was going to explain everything when I come back.
I grabbed my bag and walked out with the said Britney following me.
I walked to my car and she also walked to her pink Ferrari , I made sure she left the premises first and zoomed off after her.
After a thirty minutes drive she parked in front of a high building. I parked my car beside hers and followed her inside .
We entered an elevator and she pressed the 30th floor .
"What do you even see in Idara?" She asked looking up to look at me .
I simply brought out my phone and checked my messages.
She sighed and face front , we both stepped into a very classy restaurant.
"Davies and Adetola." She said to the receptionist
" Okay ma , we'll walk you to the table ." She said leading us to the table where both of our parents were sitting.
Did the woman not see her in uniforms why call her ma again.
She led us to their table and the two fathers were talking.
When we got there , we both sat down in front of them . What are they planning now .
"Good afternoon sir." We both greeted and Britney's dad who had a liking to me kept on asking about school.
When it was time to order , I ordered a plate of fries rice and roasted chicken.
When we were done eating I couldn't wait any longer, what will Idara think now. She will surely be thinking about how IÂ followed Liz.
Britney tried to talk to me but I just brushed her off.
Tired with my attitudes she brought out her phone.
Still deep in thought and zoned out from the conversations, my dad's voice brought me back to life.
"You are getting engaged."
So I rewrote this chapter cause only three hundred words were left out of thousand and something.
And what do you think about the engagement.
I fulfilled all of you wish by not letting Liz and Dan break up.ð
