Hey guys sorry for the very late update.
Am going to update the last three chapters today!!
Idara's POV
I took off my white coat and packed my bag quickly, I was tired and well my shift was over .
I quickly walked to some of my patients room to check on them.
After my regular check up on them I walked out of the hospital.
I sighed as I entered my car , intentions by Justin Bieber started playing startling me .
"Shit." I muttered as I quickly removed my phone from my jeans pocket.
I looked at the caller and it was Femi.
A smile quickly reached my lips as I picked the call.
It's been a week since he left and this has been like a sort of schedule.
For him to call after my shift and then we either video call or chat when I get home.
"Hey." I said immediately .
"Hi babe how are you doing?" He asked back.
How I missed his voice and yeah, he got back to calling me babe. But we're not yet official, remember I put yet oo.
"Am okay , no am tired. I had to perform a surgery of ten hours today well I was the assistant surgeon."I said as I settled down in my car.
"You should rest babe , when you get home eat and sleep. Don't stress yourself by chatting till late night today." He said his voice laced with concern .
"Thanks but no , I enjoy chatting with you na. But I feel really stressed out don't wait up ." I said with a chuckle.
"Okay ma. And you said assistant, why will my best surgeon be assistant?" He asked making me laugh.
"Femi am still two positions above interns oo. The surgery was complicated so a superior surgeon had to do it and am happy he chose me as the assistant." I said as I turned on my car and put him on speaker.
I reversed out of the park lot and started driving home.
"Ohh.... Chai , doctor's stuffs ehn." He said making me laugh.
"So what about you, how was your day?" I asked as I turned in an intersection.
"Well it was stressful but am sure not as stressful as yours , I had to sign a big deal . And managing my mum's company too is adding to the stress." He said .
"Pelee , it is well. This life ehn." I said
"Ehn you too Pelee." He said back making me laugh.
I parked my car and stepped out.
I entered my house ,and quickly dropped my bag on the couch in the sitting room.
"Idara am here oo." Mercy said from the kitchen.
"Femi I'll call you back . I want to help Mercy in the kitchen." I said.
I heard a sigh , " okay , call me when you're done or chat me up ." He said.
"Hey , you said I should sleep." I said back with a chuckle as I walked to the kitchen.
"Idara , you ehn. It's your choice. Go eat. Goodnight babe." He said with a soft chuckle.
God , how I wish he was right in front of him. I really miss him.
"Goodnight Femi , Mercy is already glaring." I said laughing.
I cut the call and dropped my phone.
"Mercy how far?" I said as I walked up to the gas cooker to check what she was cooking.
"You and Femi ehn. I'm okay. I'm not cooking anything oo I was just making popcorn for another round of movies." She said making me glare at her.
"You're not okay. Let's order jare." I said angrily walking out of the kitchen and into the sitting room.
I called pizza hut and ordered my usual one.
Mercy walked up to me laughing and passing one bowl of popcorn to me .
She grabbed the remote and pressed play and the movie started playing.
I was busy stuffing the very sweet popcorn into my mouth when the door bell rang through the house.
"Mercy am sure it's the delivery guy . Please..."I said looking at her.
She grumbled and stood up. She walked to the door and after a minute was back with the pizza.
She also quickly grabbed two bottles of coke from the fridge for the both of us.
"Here. You are really tired oo." Mercy said.
I sighed ,"I was standing for close to ten hours. But it was worth it though." I said as I quickly took a piece of the pizza.
"It is well. Doctor. So gist me about Femi." She said as she also picked a piece of pizza.
I giggled as I took a gulp of coke.
"Well we're getting there. I can't even believe that we are now together. But we're not yet official though. " I said .
She nodded and we kept on talking.
I walked to my bed after an hour or so and well after taking a shower. I lied down on the bed and after a minute I was already sleeping.

*Grrrrrr* the door bell sounded.
I sighed as I stood up from the couch which was really comfortable.
Thank God today's Saturday. I've been relaxing, just watching movies and chatting with my friends and Femi obviously.
I walked to the door and checked the camera. It was Femi. I squeled as I opened the door and practically jumped on him , well not like that but you understand.
He chuckled as he rubbed my back ,
"Hey ." He said.
I pulled back , "hi . You didn't tell me you were coming at all. " I said
"Well I wanted to surprise you." He said walking closer to me.
"And that's mission accomplished. You didn't even hint me on it ." I said as we both entered.
He chuckled and followed me to the sitting room. Mercy wasn't at home today , said she wanted to go on a date with her boyfriend.
"I missed you , and thought why not surprise her." He said as he sat down.
I sat down beside him , "so what do you want to eat?" I asked.
This was his first time here and I noticed how he observed everywhere.
"You have a nice and cozy home here." He said.
"Thanks. So what are you eating?" I asked.
"Well I was thinking, will you go on a date with me. " He said with a grin .
Making him look so cute.
"Hmmmm, I have to think about it." I said making him look at me shocked.
"You don't wanna go on a date with him?" He asked unsure.
"Chai , Femi I didn't say no. " And then suddenly he started tinkling me .
The two of us laughs filled the air ,
"Femi stop ... Oya I'll go... Stop oo." I managed to get out between laughs.

"Do you like it?" Femi asked looking at me.
"It's so beautiful, it looks just like before." I said .
We were currently at a restaurant, a warm and nice one.
We were eating and talking regularly when Femi said he wanted to give me something.
It was that same wristwatch I returned seven years ago.
"I know right. I wanted to throw it away one time but something stopped me."he said making me remember everything that happened that day.
"Am .." he quickly cut me off.
"Look you don't have to say sorry again Idara. " He said as he gently grabbed my hands.
"Thank you Femi, I love it and I kept the chain." I said pulling it out .
The same chain he gave me as my birthday gift.
I pulled it out and stretched it out to him , "you should have it."
I said.
He smiled as he grabbed it opening the locket , showing a picture of both of us.
"Why?"
"Well , you keep it now and I'll keep the wrist watch. " I said with a grin.
He leaned closer and kissed my lips lightly.
He pulled back and looked straight in my eyes
"Will you be my girlfriend, let's make it official?"
I looked at him shocked ,
"Yes." I said with a grin.
So a not so long chapter, but the next two chapters will make up for it.
Idara and Femi are finally dating.
And the book is coming to an end!
