Hey, I'm so sorry its been sooo long. YOu should all VOTE AND especially COMMENT!!!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

What if I kissed you right now

How would we explain it

Trying to imagine how it might sound

If I just yelled out

What if I kissed you right now

Would it bring us any closer

Take a weight off our shoulders

Take me I'm yours

And I don't really care who knows it

Can you afford to be open with all these emotions

If you were a secret how long could you keep it

Keep it to yourself don't tell nobody else

Not a problem-Drake, What If I kissed You

HOW PERFECT IS THIS SONG!? RELATES SOO MUCH!

"You never know what can come out of nothing."-Aubrey Taylor

Sage’s Pov.

“Uhm yeah in other subjects. Where are the girls you were talking about? Do you have daughters?”

“Uh, of course not! I’m not married yet. My boyfriend is waiting too long to pop the question. The least he could have done was give me a baby, but noo.”

“Oh, how long have you two been together?”

“Over five years. I mean obviously he needs to grow some balls. I mean Blaze proposed to you in how many months? Seven? I mean honestly. But no my girls are my two dogs. A husky named Alaska and her sister Jetta.”

“Oh cool.” I lied even though I was terrified of dogs. I was just hoping they didn’t come by while we are here. Blaze eyes scanned my face for any emotion, and even though I tried to hide them he looked hard enough to find the fear.

“She’s afraid of dogs, so please don’t bring Alaska and Jetta out.” I silently thanked him with my eyes. I know I should be angry that he kissed me, but I can’t. It wasn’t just him; I was just as much a part of that kiss. I deserved for him to put me back in my place, and remind me just of what this deal was all about.

“So Sage do you have any friends?” Aubrey asked while munching on a green apple.

“Uhm, not really any close ones.  I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m not a weirdo. It’s just I’m a little too busy with working, taking care of my brother, and sleeping, to have any close friends.”

“No wonder why you and Blaze are perfect for each other. I mean they say opposites attract, but you do need a common trait as well. I mean if you think of the word opposites, I mean I had a friend who was the complete opposite as me, but we clashed pretty quickly. And I’m talking claws and fighting, of course I won but that’s the point I-“

“Aubrey! Shut the rambling. I honestly don’t see how Mark deals with it or how I use to live in a house for 19 years of my life with it.” Zac yelled at her frustrated, and I could tell because there was a little greenish-blue vain popping out the side of his head.

“Sorry, little bro no need to get worked up about.” She told him with a bright smile on her face, as if the yelling didn’t affect her. I guess that’s all Zac needed to see because the vain went away and his normal attitude was once again showing.

“I have an idea, let’s go to the zoo!” Aubrey offered jumping up and down with excitement.

“Can't I have a date that I can’t and won’t miss. She’s a great kisser.” Zac smirked his face lightening up with excitement.

“Eww! I’m surprised you don’t have any diseases at this rate Zac.” Aubrey scrunched up her nose in disgust at her brother.

“Hey, just because I go on a date with a girl doesn’t mean she’s gonna get the goods. You think I’m that easy? I need to be persuaded.”

“Whatever. So what am I gonna do? I want to go but Mark’s at work and I don’t want to be a third wheel with the love birds over here.”

“Well, you can go pick up Sage’s little brother and you hang with him.” Zac offered.

“Perfect! Let’s go!”

We ended up picking my brother up from a daycare I enrolled him in, with this newly acquired money. I was looking for a cheaper one, but Blaze wouldn’t accept anything less than the best.  I don’t know what attached him to my little brother but he has a soft spot for him.

Now we were at the zoo, smelling the stinky animal shit, and looking at crowds of people. Lots of girls stopped and ogled at Blaze, and I mean who could blame them? Aubrey and my brother went ahead of us, while Blaze walked at the same pace as me. I could see his face, it was blanked but his eyes were surveying the crowds of people. He wrapped his arm around my waist and I leaned my head on his shoulder, when I heard a click of a camera. I know it’s something I would have to get use to from time to time but I wasn’t expecting it yet.

He leaned down and pecked me on the lips, making my heart flutter and heat to fill my body. No! Stop it Sage! He doesn’t want you. I needed to remind myself that this was all for show.

We managed to find Aubrey and my little brother, and convince them to letting us leave and pick them back up when they were ready. I couldn’t help but stare at Blaze on the way home. I noticed every little detail on his face. His black as night hair, his electric green eyes, his smooth cheek bones with a dash do almost unseen freckles splattered across his nose and cheeks. He lips that were both full and pulled into an almost pout.

“Are you done staring at me?” He asked, curiosity etched in his voice.

“Oh,” I gasped trying to act surprised. “I was? I’m sorry I was just thinking and dazed off.”

“What were you thinking about?”

“How we don’t really know each other,” I shrugged, I mean it was half the truth; the thought did pass my mind.

“I know everything I need to know about you Sage Cassandra Aroem, twenty-two, 5”2, favorite animal is a dog, and favorite show is Made.”

“Hey, Mr. Business man, you learned that from a file…. Which is weird, but I won’t question it. I want to know the real you. So that after this whole…. Situation we can still remain somewhat friends?”

“Oh, uhm yeah. Well what do you want to know?”

I really wanted to know what was going on between him and his father but I wasn’t going to question it at this moment. I would wait a little while longer, because it seemed as if that was family deep.

“My Mother and Grams wants to talk wedding plans with you tomorrow.”

“Oh, okay. So Blaze, what’s your middle name since you know mine?”

“My middle name is Eli. Any other questions.”

“Why did you need to have a temporary wife? I mean why me? Why not any other girl?”

“We discussed this before. I needed a girl who was smart enough not to fall in love with me. Who was smart period. With Zac’s taste I probably would have some blonde bimbo.”

“I’m not as smart as you think,” I mumbled under my breath.

“What?”

I shook my head and sighed, “Nothing.”

When we arrived at our condo, we walked up to be greeted by Blaze’s Mom and Grandma. Blaze face blanked and I missed the confused look he was just giving me moments ago.

“Mother, Grams what are you doing here? Sage wasn’t supposed to discuss with you till tomorrow.”

“Well we were so excited sweetheart that we couldn’t wait!” His mother clapped, practically jumping up and down with excitement. I looked at Blaze with distress, without the others noticing.

“I’ll give you thirty minutes with her. We wanted to be alone today.”

“Oh! Don’t worry grandson, we’ll let you two go make babies later. We just want to go over some plans. Remember I want three grandkids.” His grandmother laughed. My eyes went big, what’s with his family and friends openly discussing sex.

Blaze left to his room and I was stuck with his mom and grandma.

“So, what do you want as your colors Sage?” His grandmother asked finally someone knew my name.

“Uhm a green and white. I was hoping for just a small traditional wedding.” It was my favorite color, and I smiled inwardly because it also reminded me of a stoic business man in the other room.

“Oh no no no. Sorry Sage but that won’t work! You’re marrying a Colton, small weddings won’t work. I love the color choices though. I’ll of course make your wedding dress. Don’t worry I’ll show you when I’m done you’ll love it. Oh! And I took the liberty of restocking your wardrobe. It was weird I saw none of your clothes in his room.”

“Oh, well I didn’t want my clothes cluttering his so I put them in the second spare room.”

“Oh, Blaze won’t mind sweetheart! Now let’s get back to business.”

We ended up planning most of the wedding in that hour Blaze gave them. They were now asking me questions about Blaze an I’s relationship. Which there wasn’t much of, but I answered to the best of my ability.

“So where did you and Blaze meet?” Aurie Blaze’s mother told me.

“Uhm, Starbucks where I worked.”

“Oh how romantic! How did my little Blaze propose?”

“Oh, he wasn’t very creative. But haha that’s Blaze for you. We were at the house and I walked in to the living room to find him in the kitchen burning the food. Once we salvaged what was left he led me to the dining room where he proposed. It was sweet.”

“AWW! How cute is that? So when are you going to start on our grandbabies?” His mother asked once again.

“Uhm, I’m not sure if we should discuss this at the moment.”

“If not are you using protection? Because we think you should get off of birth-control-“Then Blaze suddenly came in for the rescue. I was silently thanking him saving me from the awkward moment.

“Mother, Grams, I think it’s time for you to go.” He said quickly not making eye contact with me.

“Okay Okay Blaze, we’ll let you two do your business. Have fun!” His mother winked and walked off with his Grandma.

“Are you serious?” I smacked my head. “How many times will I get asked this? And please tell your mom and Grandma an excuse about kids. If I can’t avoid the talk with Aubrey at least save me from the talk with them.”

“Yeah, I’m sorry they can be uhm overwhelming at times.”

“I have another question.” He looked at me his green eyes curious and staring me down. He walked closer to me till he was standing right in front of me.

“Why are you expressionless?”

“You ask too many questions you know?” He told me getting closer to where he was whispering in my ear. He turned his head at the same time I was about to look at him and our lips touched. For some reason that opened a fire deep in my stomach that it was burning through my clothes. Something seemed to go through Blaze because he kissed me with a fury. I don’t know how but somehow we ended up on the couch him hovering over me, kissing my neck. I worked on the buttons on his shirt and threw it somewhere across the room. I was enjoying the feeling Blaze was giving me. Just as my shirt was about to come off the door flew open.

“Oh! See I told you Mary that they would be busy, working on our grandkids.”

I closed my eyes in embarrassment and buried my face into Blaze’s warm chest that was still pressed into me.

“What are you two doing back here? And where’d you get a key?”

“Remember we own this. We can get a key from anyone Hun. And you Grandmother forgot her purse.” Aurie stated while Blaze’s Grams went and got her purse.

Before leaving she whispered to us, “Have fun and don’t be safe!”

Blaze just blinked down at me and I groaned. What was I doing? I don’t usually do this? I’m not experienced in this department at all.

“I’m so sorry.” I whispered tears streaming down my face. I slipped from under him and ran to my room.

I leaned against the door ugly tears streaming from my face. I couldn’t see him again without being embarrassed. I liked him too much and I needed to get over that.

“Sage,” I heard Blaze knock, “It’s okay. We won’t have to talk about it ever again.”
