"Whatever you do, do it for you. Because living with someone else's dream wont make you happy, it'll only make you feel incomplete."-Mark Muller

So what if I don't have,

A lot to talk about?

I shut my mouth and keep it,

Locked until it counts.

And what if I don't ever want,

To leave my house?

Stay on the couch while

All my friends are going out.

Yeah, you should be alone,

You should be alone with me.

Song:Be Alone (This is so Blaze it's ridiculous!)

Sage’s Pov.

Honestly I didn’t know what was worse, the fact that Marnie and Stacy would be stinking up my vacation, or the fact that their room was across the hall from ours and they were now loudly singing Kesha’s newest song. I like Kesha’s music somewhat, but now I don’t think I’ll be able to listen to it for a while, or at least not that song.

I was sitting on the hotel bed looking at the fully furnished beautiful room. The colors were dull like tan and beige but it was livened up with paintings of color. The bed was a queen sized, with a golden comforter. The balcony led to a beautiful beach front view, it was as if the horizon was shooting out pinks and oranges as they day came to an end. I walked to the window, sliding it open and stepping out onto it.

I was in a trance just watching the waves crash against the shore, not really aware of my surroundings I didn’t hear Blaze come out or call my name.

“Sage, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. I think you should get some rest.” He told me softly, and I turned around and looked in his eyes to protest, but my words were caught in my breath looking at how Blaze was looking at me. His eyes as always were electric, but they had softness to them.

I turned away, sighed but got up heading to the bed; Blaze and I were to share. I pulled the covers back and hopped in, and fell asleep with ease.

The next day Blaze’s alarm went off, and I felt around the bed, blindly, because my eyes were still closed. I patted random places and when I felt something I wacked it, and heard a groan.

“Sage, what the hell are you doing?” I opened my eyes to see Blaze holding his nose. I quickly sat up and hovered over him.

“I’m so sorry, but turn off your stupid alarm.” He reached out to the left and pushed a button that stopped the annoying buzzing. I reached over on the night stand near him and reached for my glasses. I couldn’t quite grasp them. Blaze let out an annoyed huff and placed his hands on my sides and lifted me over him to get my glasses.

I slid them on, and looked straight down at him wondering why he hasn’t put me on my side again. I saw his face twitch up slightly and he reached up and tapped my frames.

“These are the glasses I met you in,” He told me softly and I laughed, rolling my eyes at the comment.

“Of course, I can’t wear contacts all the time,” We sat there in silence for seconds before our door opened and in walked Zac with food, and trailing behind him the ever so annoying Marnie and Stacy.

Once Marnie saw me and Blaze’s position she scowled, leaned to the side her arms crossed, with her best little girl pout on. Stacy was texting on her phone unaware of the current situation.

Aubrey and Mark decided to grace us with their presence and when she saw the two unwanted guests already in here, she glared.

“What are dumb and dumber doing in here?” Aubrey asked rolling her eyes. I rolled off of Blaze sitting up, and looking back at him to see his expression. He gave an irritated sigh and got up heading into the bathroom.

But before he went he told everyone “I expect all of you to be out of our room when I get out the shower. We’ll meet you downstairs in the lobby in twenty.”

Marnie’s glare only intensified when Blaze closed the bathroom door. “Why does he even like you Mr. Magoo?” Actually I was shocked that she even knew Mr. Magoo was. I rolled my eyes.

“You heard Blaze get out; I’ll see you later Aubrey, Mark, and Zac. But please take the blonde bimbo and the dirty mop with you.” I was fed up with the name calling and I was ready for them to go. Aubrey took the liberty of pushing them both out, and Zac threw a smile and a wink my way before closing the door after him.

I ate some of the breakfast before Blaze emerged from the shower, and when he did I tried to not look him over but I did, and when I made eye contact a small blush rose to his cheeks. Probably remembering when I saw his butt. I scurried up from the bed and heading into the bathroom. I already had me clothes in my hand.

I was pretty sure we were going to a business meeting and that’s probably why we were getting up so early so I made sure to dress appropriate. I took a nice but short shower dressing quickly and coming out to see Blaze on the edge of the bed eating his food.

“It’s not as good as yours,” I was confused because I had no idea what he was talking about.

“What?”

“The food; I think yours taste better.” He answered, his attention going back to his plate. I smiled giddy that I got a compliment from him.

“Why thank you Blaze!” I bound over to him and pulled him off the bed and out the door. I felt his eyes on the dress I was wearing but I didn’t answer any questions, I took it as a compliment. We walked down the hall that was covered in golden stripped wallpaper, and the burgundy flooring, and went to the elevator.

We took it down to the lobby where the rest of the crew was, including the two unwanted ones. Then I saw an unfamiliar face. She had long brown hair, big brown eyes, and a kind smile. She ran up and greeted Blaze with a hug and he awkwardly patted her back. I didn’t see her as a threat though; she didn’t seem like the Marnie type.

She then came up to me and hugged me. I was taken by surprise but hugged back, she was very friendly.

“Hi, I’m Lana and it’s so nice to meet Blaze’s fiancé.” Then she turned her attention to the angry Marnie and the spaced out Stacy. “But who invited those two?” She asked rolling her eyes.

I laughed whole-heartedly, and smiled at her “To be perfectly honest, I have no idea. Zac and Blaze seem to know though.” I could tell we were going to be great friends.

“So Blaze, I’m excited to be coming back with you all to work at your company. I mean Hawaii is nice, but I miss home, besides my mama is hassled me about it.”

“Its fine Lana, we all missed you hanging out with us.” So that told me that she was a long time friend too.

“When you’d meet everyone?” I asked Lana curious on if she knew them as long as they knew each other.

“I’ve known them since 5th grade when Zac, thought it was okay to look up my skirt.” She told me with a smile, and giving Zac a sharp look. He just gave her his best playboy smile, and a wink. I took the time to look around the lobby that was huge. It was also a golden color with marble floors, and a long burgundy rug running the length of it. Bellboys pushed the wide-golden-bared carts around, and gigantic glass windows looking outside.

Lana ushered us outside the hotel and a truck pulled up in front of us, but I counted heads and it didn’t look like we were going to fit. There were eight of us and it was a seven-seater car.

“We all aren’t going to fit,” Mark stated what I was thought, only out loud.

“I can sit on Blaze’s lap!” Marnie offered with a fake smile. I wanted to say over my dead body, but it would sound like I was jealous and I definitely wasn’t jealous of the skank.

Aubrey gave her a disgusted look, rolled her eyes, and turned towards me, “Well Sage can just sit on Blaze’s lap.”

I bit my lip anxiously, “I don’t think that’s a good idea.” We were all standing on the side of the car looking like idiots. Stacy and Marnie were off to the side grimacing at me, Zac was standing next to Lana, Aubrey and Mark were holding hands leaning on the truck, and Blaze had his arms wrapped around me from behind.

“Why? What’s the worst that could happen?” Lana asked confused.

“Blue balls maybe,” Blaze mumbled, but no one heard him but me. I hit him on the chest and glared at him.

We ended up deciding that I was going to sit on Blaze’s lap anyway. Lana wasn’t taking no for an answer, and I could tell she was the feisty type, and would argue with you.

Lana was driving, Zac was in the passenger’s seat, Mark and Aubrey were in the back with the ever so bored Stacy, and Marnie was in the seat next to Blaze and I glaring. But then she took her attention off of us and turned to her phone angrily typing on it.

“We’re going to end up in the last situation again if you keep moving.” Blaze grumbled, trying to keep my still.

“Well you’re boney, you need more cushion. Besides cant you hold that in, it’s not like you’re physically attracted to me.” I replied quietly.

“I—” he started but didn’t finished he just mumbled something incoherent under his breath and looked out the window. I focused my eyes on Zac and Lana in the front seat. Zac had his heartbreaker smile on, but it looked Lana wasn’t buying any of it. He liked to play and Lana was the perfect victim because she wasn’t going for any of his moves.

“Hey come on Lan (lawn) I don’t bite.” He cooed and she shot it down into the dirty, and stepped on it with a heel boot.

“But you look like you would if you could. I’m not going for that.” She replied with a sarcastic smile, adverting her attention back to the road.

I laughed and listened to their conversation all the way to the big Colton Corporation building we pulled up at.

We all got out and headed up the stairs to the 30th floor, to the meeting Blaze was talking about. Lana was almost a lawyer, but still worked for Blaze over at the particular branch, Zac was stock broker and adviser, Aubrey and Mark were accountants, and I was his assistant. This was definitely one smart bunch, and you couldn’t judge a book by its cover.

Zac looked like a trust fund baby, Aubrey looked like a ditsy blonde, Mark looked like he was a bank worker, Lana looked like a Brazilian model, and Blaze looked like he was just born into money. Technically he was, but that’s beside the point. I looked like I should’ve been a librarian, and Stacy and Marnie looked rich too, but of course they were lounging on the couch not paying attention to a thing we were doing.

Once the long and boring meeting was over, we headed back to the hotel for to get out of the formal clothes and get ready for the Festival of Aloha. It’s a night where you enjoy entertainment, games, dance, and parades. It would be my first experience of all this and I was going to enjoy it, and make Blaze enjoy it.

We were about to go to the Investiture Kupuna Show, at the Mitchell Pauole Center. I honestly was very excited, I could barely contain myself. I dressed in a casual v-neck shirt, and skinny jeans, and Blaze was in tan cargo pants, and a black Ralph Lauren collared shirt.

When I stepped out the room, Blaze holding my hand, I immediately wanted to step back in. Marnie was wearing a cropped top beach shirt, with a long skirt that had a slit in the side, which led all the way up to her lower thigh. It honestly made me feel inadequate because she was model pretty. Her face wasn’t caked in makeup, she actually looked like she was just a nice simple girl, of course I knew the real her, she was after my Blaze—I mean my fake fiancé Blaze.

The lobby was full of people ready to enjoy the festivities of the celebration. I spotted the rest of the group and pulled Blaze along.

“Lana come on I just want to give myself to you,” Zac said, with a puppy pout on that quickly quirked into a grin.

“I’m sorry I don’t accept cheap gifts, now try again lover-boy.” She told him not even bothering to look up from her phone. Having Lana around was going to be funny. Stacy was in the same kind of outfit as Marnie expect she had on shorts and a flower in her long, fake hair.

We walked out into the pale moonlight, getting into the car. I rolled down the window just enjoying the scenery change. Never in a million year did I think that I was going to ever go to Hawaii, and now I was actually here.

“You look nice tonight little one!” Zac shouted from the front seat, causing Lana to give him an amused roll of the eyes.

“Are you trying to say I don’t look good every day?” I asked him with sad eyes, and faked like I was going to cry. He immediately tried to backtrack his words but stumbled.

“Yeah,” Marnie answered with a sneer. I was not a violent person but that was it, I was going to rip her hair out. I reached for her, but Blaze held me in place.

“You do look nice,” He whispered, actually taking my mind off the hoe in the seat next to me. I smiled embarrassed and whispered a thank you. He looked over to his right as if to make sure Marnie was watching and planted one right on me. I put my hands in his hair and he pulled me against his chest.

“Ugh! Gag me with a freaking spoon.” Marnie said outraged, either she was quoting Valley Girl or she was one; I‘m going with the latter.

“Gladly!” Aubrey told her, angry at her presence, “They’re getting married soon, so you’re going to have to fucking deal with it, no one wants you around anyway.”

“Its fine Aubs, I don’t care about her, or Stacy. I’m here to have fun.” I smiled laughing, at her comment.

I looked back to the front and heard Zac trying his lines on Lana again.

“Where have you been all my life?” He tried, and she gave him a flat look.

“Where I’ll be the rest of your life, in your wildest dreams.” She laughed, and pulled to a stop.

The native people were outside and dressed into beautiful garments, there was thousands of people watching them dance. To be completely honest, when I looked back at Blaze he looked a little nervous, like he didn’t know how to have fun. This was going to be a challenge, but I was going to accomplish it.

*I know nothing about Hawaii, sorry this is all googled. lol I live in the United States tho, I just never been. So sorry if everything is not accurate.

*If you didnt know who Mr. Magoo is, he's this old cartoon character who couldnt see without his glasses and would always wind up in trouble, and somehow get out of it. Then when he found his glasses they were HUGE. lol and made his eyes look big.
