Blaze's Pov.(BONUS)

My Father would never understand how happy I was that I was going to be a Father, no a dad. A father is just a sperm doner, a dad, was someone who was there for their kids, supported them, cared. I'm going to be there for my son and future children more than he ever was. I knew Sage would prove to be the best thing that ever happen to me, and she further provides clarity to that everyday. Without her, I wouldnt have even thought about a family, let alone had one. It was all because of her.

I dont know where the name Hayden came from, but Sage and I were sitting in bed one day and it just popped into my head. I offered it up and she surprisingly agreed on it. Now pregnant Sage wasnt always the easiest to deal with.

She was moody sometimes but oddly calm. Like unusually calm, kind've how she was when we left her. Which was unintentional! I thought somebody had got her and Matthew, and about four minutes into our drive I realized she wasnt there.

When I saw the way she looked at me and Hayden when she woke from her nap, it made me appreciate her even more.

Blaze Colton's Pov. (Blaze's rough draft of his first chapter. He wasnt the same at all. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN< ROUGH DRAFT)

This was one of the few original plots of the story.

I needed a wife, and I needed one quick! I can’t be cut off, I need that money. Sure I am a player, but hey that's the life when you’re young! You don’t need a wife at 23. You need a life and that’s what I got. Sure I'm rich and devishly good looking. But I don’t want to be tied down, when I have beautiful girls, flocking at my door step every day.

Flashback to one hour ago

"Dad you can’t be serious! I'm 23 and I have plenty of time to find a reasonable bride, when I'm old, like 35. I have plenty of time; I don’t need to get married."

"You are irresponsible Blaze! How can I trust you with a multi-billion dollar company, if you keep this u? If you keep running around with a new girl every other day, you're going to catch something, and then no women will want to be with you for the rest of your life."

"What does having a wife have to do with the company?" I asked confused.

"You break women’s hearts everyday son. If ONE woman can’t trust you, than I can’t trust you."

"What?!"

"Yes, and that’s final, you will be cut off, if you don’t find someone to love you."

"I already have someone!" I quickly shouted, before I had time to think it through.

"You do?" My dad said, curiosity leaking from every word. "When can we meet her?"

"Well she's in school right now, so the end of the weekend we'll be here." I said, lying through my teeth. Where will I find a girl, that my dad thinks is "suitable" on such short notice. All the girls I have been with were easy sluts that would die to be with me.

Back to the present

After the 'talk' with my father, I made the three hour trek back to my condo, in the best part of New York. Yes the building we owned so I could’ve had it to myself, but I let my friends, and their girlfriends, or whatever have some of the other floors.

Right when I was about to pull up to my garage I looked in the window of one of my friend's condo, when I saw him undressing his girl friend. I looked at them, rolled my eyes, and then remembered the problem at hand.

I went to my thinking place a little cafe down the street from my house. 'Expression Coffee' I went in and sat on one of the stools, ordered an espresso.

My gaze wasn’t starring at anything particular, when the waitress came out with my order; she gave me a suggestive glance, and a flirtatious smile, that I gave a smirk to. But I couldn’t be bothered with that right now. Plus I can just tell from looking at her, that she was the clingy type. Been there done that, and I 'm not going down that road again.

I looked outside the window, and saw a girl about my age on the side of the curb sitting down crying, she looked like she worked here. I smirked, and looked away...... WAIT! IDEA! I dashed out of the cafe, and smoothly walked, outside slowly and approached the girl.

Sage's Pov.

"What do you mean I'm fired?" I was never that out spoken, but this is my job we're talking about, the only way we as in my family and I can survive.

"I mean that you can no longer work here, turn in your uniform tomorrow after you wash it."

"Why am I being fired? And not Stacy?"

"Because she's beautiful, and attracts customers, and you're nerdy and no one likes that. Also we're not making much and we had to lay someone off, why not the person whose making us lose the money."

"I can be better! I'm the one who does all the work around here, the one who makes all the coffee when Jeremy isn’t around."

"No matter if you work harder, you’re just not sexy and ugly doesn’t sell, so bye."

I got up and walked away, he would not see me cry, I walked around from out back and to the front, where I sat on the curb in front of the cafe and cried.

I lost my job! What was I going to do, the rent was late, and I have to pay the electric bill. It will be a miracle to get a job quickly then ask for an advance, not a miracle, it won’t ever happen.

I didn’t stop crying until I heard a deep, beautiful voice ask me a question.

"Huh?" I said looking up, fixing my oversized glasses.

"Why are you crying?" He asked.

"I just lost my job, because- never mind it doesn’t matter."

"Why are you crying about a job, just go get another one, I'm sure you’re qualified. You look it." He told me, basically calling me the word I've been called all my life, a nerd.

"Well I had to drop out of college at the beginning of this year, because my scholarship ended...Why am I telling a stranger this."

"Well I have a proposition for you." This sounded interesting.

Blaze’s Pov.

“Well, I will help you with your money problem.”

“What’s the catch?” She was getting suspicious.

She was unattractive, if you didn’t look close enough, because of her glasses.

DELETED SCENE

January has long been gone, and it’s now reaching the middle of February. The weather was the same, a little colder, but still relatively warm compared to many other places. Blaze and I were sitting in at the kitchen nook, watching Lana make tamales for Zac’s birthday. I find it ironic that Zac’s birthday was in February and on Valentine’s Day seeing as he was quite the player. Seems as if every girl Zac has laid eyes on has been shot in the butt by cupid, or bitten by the love bug; including Lana. But though Zac is a man whore he only has eyes for one girl.

That day they went to Victorias Secret.

“You do know that I slept with Zac before right.” Lana told us while looking at the lingerie.

“What?” Aubrey asked her eyes popping out of her head. If she had water I was sure she would have spat it out everywhere.

“Yeah, your brother was quite the charmer, and we were 15 and it was our first times. He said he wanted to lose it to someone he knew, and I was willing back then.” Lana shrugged turning away from us and to the next bin.

“You actually gave it to Zac? Well no wonder why he’s been chasing after it ever since. I think I remember that day, he came home singing sprung by t-pain.” Aubrey laughed, but you could still see the disbelief on her face. "You must of put it on him."

"Why dont you just let Zac have you then? You have history."I was confused on what she was doing when it came to him.

"He's a whore and we're young, when he comes to his sense he'll see what's truly here. I love Zac, but he's an idiot." I knew she meant the term more in a common sense type of way, because Zac was book smart.

Lana's name at first was Layla

She wasnt thought of till the 14th chapter, so I had to figure out a way to add her in

Blaze was originally a player, and very outgoing.

Zac was always a planned character but Aubrey and Mark werent.

Jeremy was thought of before them even though his role wasnt huge

Blaze was suppose to have a good relationship with his Father

Aubrey and Zac's last name 'Taylor' was meant originally for a different character in a different book.(CD)

I dont know where the name Hayden came from for the baby's name, I just randomly thought of it as I was writing.

Matthew and Sam, were random.

Marnie was first suppose to be a nice girl, she wasnt suppose to be the stereotype.

Stacy was suppose to be in Marnie's role at first, but I thought the blonde bimbo thing was too common.

In the Hawaii chapter I wanted to show you that Stacy and Marnie were actually pretty without heavy makeup.

I had no big problem for the couple at first, so I made Blaze's dad the problem.

Sage was originally supposed to get pregnant by Blaze at first. It was going to be part of the deal so that he could have an heir without settling down.  This was one of the few first draft ideas.

Zac was always suppose to be the wise one, but he wasnt suppose to be as funny.

Zac is not stupid at all. He's actually pretty smart, despite what most may think.

Though Aubrey is only older than Zac by one year, Samantha is older by three.

Mark has always liked Aubrey since they were little.

Originally I was going to talk about Zac's player-ness

I wrote this story as I went, no planning was involved till the end

Lana is not Brazillian, she is Mexican

I never had a picture of Sage. Weird enough every chapter I wrote I pictured her a different race every time.

This story was planned to be written in Feb. 11, 2012 (Date on my computer.)

Blaze's name was going to be Blaze, but I was stuck between changing it to Blake. His last name was going to just be Colt, but I felt like Colton sounded better.

Zac's real name is just Zac, its not a nickname or a 'k' or 'h' on the end.

Cory was suppose to have a bigger role, but as the story progressed I tended to forget about him.

Maybe it's autocorrect but people got Blaze's name confused with Blake very frequently.

Weird enough no one understands that Sage's favorite animal is a dog, but she's still scared of them.(Because that is possible!!!)

The songs in each chapter, werent the songs I was listening to as I wrote them.

Blaze's mom was suppose to be super snobby all the way through, but I changed my mind

I tried to look for another original chapter where Sage was going to get pregnant for Blaze and that was the main plot, but I couldnt find it, and I searched high and low.

The coffee shop that Sage worked at was suppose to be called "Expression Coffee" Or "Coffee Expressions", but I wanted a more common place.

They live in California, the LA area.

I wanted them to have a change of scenery so they took trips often.

No Lana and Zac wont have a spin off book. Let me tell you, they are happy together!

Mark and Aubrey wont have one either, not will Hayden.

I didnt want to make it seem like the media played an important role, because let's be honest, the media doesnt care about billionaires that dont sing or dance.

These characters have nothing to do with my newer story Chasing December, though Colton Industries might show up. Also, the characters might appear in random places, but their roles wont be huge.

I just want to show that the world is a huge place of infinite possibilities. So you might see me reference or have the character looking at a random spot in the story and hear the name "Hayden", or "Zac", or "Lana". You never know!(I hope you get what I'm trying to say.)

I promised a little extra something at the end of the chapter. :)

Sage's Pov.

Hayden and I were at the cafe, he was in his car seat minding his own business watching the various people. I was cleaning off the counter while playing with his feet. I watched a short girl with medium brown hair sit down in the corner with a boy with hazel eyes smiling at her mischievously. I rolled my eyes at the young couple and smiled.

I picked Hayden up and walked over to the couple smiling friendly. “Hi, I’m Sage and I’m the owner. I thought you were such a cute couple so I’m going to give you free drinks, on the house. Just tell the boy with the buzzed hair at the counter when you’re ready.”

“Thank you!” The girl smiled, and the guy winked at her.

“Yeah thanks, Cember was just talking about being thirsty.”

“Hunter,” she hissed and glared at him; I decided I would leave them to their fun and games.

Next thing I know, Hayden was reaching trying to get out of my arms. He was a very quiet and reserved baby; he wasn’t the type to just go to strangers. I turned around and looked at the door seeing my green eyed husband. He kissed me on the lips and lifted the baby out of my hands.

“I thought I told you I was capable of getting home by myself.” I scolded him; he wasn’t even looking at me. Instead his eyes were the baby who was nestled into his chest and falling asleep.

“I wanted to visit my wife and son, and take them home early is that so bad?” Blaze asked trying to sound as innocent as possible. And I couldn’t stay mad at that.

He drove us home to a quiet condo, which was very odd. He took Hayden to his room immediately we sat down for a movie like we always did.

Hayden was definitely a handful despite being a quiet baby; he was stubborn and hardheaded like his dad. Mrs. Colton absolutely adored him, Mr. Colton wasn’t allowed to touch our baby; that was a rule made by Blaze and I. Grams loved her great-grandson and came to visit as often as she could. And if you think that just because we had a kid that made the gang show up less then you’re wrong. They were still over as much as they were before, and it was perfect.

Though he’s a young uncle Cory likes to be around Hayden, just observing him. My mom was around a lot more often and she and Blaze had a great relationship.

Blaze’s and I’s story was something out of movie(or maybe I just watched too many) and it was an amazing rollercoaster. —and then I ran out of things to write about lol, tho people still asked for a sequel much to my annoyance(don’t ask for one, there wont be one) I tried to get out that part for you, just to quench a little thirst.
