I took a deep breath and took a glance behind me.
'Draco, I'm stuck in an uncomfortable position right now. Please come and fetch me.' I spoke in my mind hoping that Draco hears my call.
I could feel a heavy tension filling the air. Both of the men are looking straight to each others eyes. They spoke through them in the silence.
The cold air let the tension a little loose and i took that opportunity to shift from my rooted place. I pursed my lips and once again looked behind me. A familiar figure is approaching, a person that i recognised right away.
Draco! Finally! Atleast this psycho found his guts and decided to show up!
I smiled widely earning the attention of the two. They too, looked at the direction I'm looking at and fixed themselves.
"Draco. Is that you? How've you've been brother?" Alexander asked, jumping down his horse.
My eyes widened as i look at Draco who just arrived. He knows this psychopath too?
I frowned as i watch Draco jump down at his horse and met him half way.
I opened my mouth and locked my arms together around Heph, resting head on his back. My eyes still remained on Alexanders, observing the way he communicates.
They patted each others shoulder, then greeted the other. They talked for a little while making me uncomfortable in my position
I looked up at Heph who is pouring all his attention to Alex totally ignoring my presence.
I tilted my head sideways to see what's going on but nothing of their topics interests me. I sighed and I pouted as i looked up again at Heph. I gently kissed his back to get his attention but his muscles are all tensed up to even notice.
I fought my urge to roll my eyes and just slap him.
As everyone wasn't paying attention, i raised my hands and held on to Heph's shoulder for a little push up, my right hand on his shoulder and my left hand pushing his head to the side for me to attempt my stupidity. I did all of it swiftly, giving him a soundless smack at the lips.
Heph immediately averted his gaze from them and looked at me with wide eyes. "Sleep with me." was the first thing that came out his mouth making me laugh.
Alex turned around with his gaze dangerously low making me feel uncomfortable.
I gulp a couple of times as my grip on Heph's waist felt tighter. Heph held my hand to ease my tension, relaxing my nerves.
"Thank you." I whispered behind his ear and kissed the back of his shoulders. Hidden though, so that no one else could see.
The atmosphere already feels heavy I'm not adding additional awkwardness to it. Urgh why did i have to take thier attention?
I leaned my chin on Heph's shoulders after Alex turned around continuing their chit chat.
They were talking about some made up stories by Draco, things that we did kuno when we we're away. The same stories that we said to Heph. Oh Heph..
From time to time Alex takes a small time to take a glance at me before returning his gaze to Draco. It's like he doesn't want me interacting with the guy I'm slowly am falling for.
I shrugged and looked at the Alex's mighty horse.
"Heph, is that Bace-- Bucephalus, did i say it right? Is he that horse?" I whispered while i play with his hair.
"Margaux i really love how you play with my hair but could you do it without Alex's presence? He'll kill me." Heph instead answered, straightforward making me pull off my hands.
"Why? Does he like me too?" I asked as i took a glance at Alexander.
Thankfully he was paying real attention to whatever shenanigans Draco is saying as of the moment.
Instead of answering, Heph looked away with a sad face. I felt a strong urge to cup his face and just hug him, but his expression went blank after a couple of seconds. I looked down at the ground keeping silent.
"No it's not." He spoke after. I raised my head up to look at him.
"He does not like me?" I asked, confused.
Heph just chuckled and shook his head. "No, not that.. Bucephalus died two years ago. It's another horse." He answered my previous question taking my hands.
His thumb rubbed my hands gently while looking at Alex and Draco.
"It was sad that you chose to leave than to stay. But like old times, i am willing to give you home. Margaux would be better off under my protection. She is safe with me." He said making an eye contact.
I looked away and brought my attention to Heph's tensioned figure.
"I'm yours." I subconsciously whispered, hoping that it ease the tension inside him.
My heart almost leaped in joy when i felt him relax, not completely but enough for him to have emotion in his eyes. So i do have an affect to him..
"Draco, why don't you take Margaux with you? I need to talk to Hephaestion." Alex tapped Drac's shoulders before giving me a wink.
I tried to hide my disgust and hugged Heph's waist as tight as i could.
"It's alright, i want to sta-"
"Go." Heph interrupted and took off my arms around his waist.
I let out a small whine, "When your done, visit me on my chamber. I need explanation." I whispered before accepting Drac's extended arm.
I lost my balance half way but Draco was there to catch me.
"Thanks." I thanked Draco. I fought my urge to not frown at Heph. Why didn't he atleast guide me down?
We walked slowly towards Drac's horse and waited for him to mount up before climbing the horse by myself.
After i was all fixed Draco nodded at both the men before turning the horse around. Facing the village.
He kicked the horse hard. And rode the horse as fast as he could.
I could only wrap my arms on Draco's waist and lean on his back. I never dared to look back and just allowed myself to feel the cold wind on my skin.
After 20 long minutes we finally arrived on top of the palace.
"Are you okay?" Drac asked.
I gave him my sweetest smile before jumping down the horse.
"I am fine, just worried. I was hoping for a perfect day but the unexpected happened. I'm loosing my mood." I pouted and turned around.
"I uh, i need some time alone." I waved my hands and walked straight on the wide hallway.
FOR TWO WHOLE WEEKS, Heph has always been avoiding me while Alex continually brings me gifts.
He is like the ancient day fuckboy and honestly i am not liking the attention he gives me. I want Heph's attention, not his.
"Goodnight Agape," he kissed my cheek slowly working himself up until he could kiss me in my lips.
As always like the past 2 weeks, i smiled sweetly at him and tilted my head away from his lips, raising the parcel up, acting surprised at the gift he left on my lap.
"Wow, another one. You never failed to amaze me," i exaggerated and opened the parcel delicately.
It was a crown, a tiara perhaps fit for a princess. I look like one no doubt but I'm not that quite interested since my interest rest under Heph's nose. Urghh.
And as always, Alex lets out a disappointed sigh making my day. That's what you get for not allowing Heph near me.
"Goodnight." He whispered and i just nodded. I waited patiently for his footsteps decending down the stairs before standing up and walked towards the mirror.
I had a huge smirk up in my face as i strip down my dress reveiling a seductive material, enough to make any man hard.
I traced my hands on my chest down to my hips before remenicing about the past 2 weeks...
3 days now since the meeting with Alex but i never saw Heph anywhere near me except only when food is served.
I have been speculating that he might be avoiding me but whenever he's around i never got the chance to talk him out of it cause he either walks away immediately or it was in front of the table.
"Draco, why does the guy i like not showing up? Is he not interested in me any more?" I asked Draco with eyes full of tears.
I heared Drac release a long sigh before leaning in to wipe my tears.
"If you only know what he does everynight, you'd really be grossed out." Draco pouted while also fixing my hair.
"He's sleeping with another woman. I knew it." I slapped his arms away and curled up trying my best not to cry.

Draco just pursed his lips wanting to talk more but decided to leave me all alone. He let down all the curtains and left a gap on the door before he left.
I bit my lips and did my best to contain my tears. I am planning to stay up all night just to let myself think of a reason why he's letting me go.

As i I kept my eyes closed, ascending footsteps started to fill the silent hall. I panicked and acted all asleep, why did Drac decide to leave the door half close??

"Urgh, shut up." I growled, looking at him.
"I'm telling you, he won't be coming." He said meeting my eyes.
"Oh yeah? How can you tell?" I raised my brows still not breaking the eye contact.
He looked at me plainly. "You weren't listening back in the dinning table, were you?"
That took me back and broke the eye contact. Alex talked to me back in the table bjt i wasn't really listening. My eyes we're glued to Heph, thinking some wild thoughts.
"Uhh, i think you know what i was thinking." I smiled then looked at him awkwardly.
"Tsh. You know i can hear your mind but you don't bother covering your green thoughts. Don't you think that it's a little bit uncomfortable for me to hear wierd stuff passing by my brain? Like litterally your fantasies would never happen, he's a freeking gentleman." He knocked on my head a couple of times.
"Hmm, deal with it. But back to what happened in the dinning table, what did you guys talked about?" I asked shoving of his hands.
"Alex said that we'd be travelling back to on of the biggest cities here on Persia, he already fixed where we are staying and he wants you to take a good night sleep. I'll just carry you if you still aren't awake by then if you want. All the troops however will start packing right now to prepare for the journey." He explained. I furrowed my brows and looked at him.
"Why didn't he even ask for my opinion on that?" I asked with a grim face.
"Uh cause for one, who are you to decide that." He countered back.
"Well..." i looked at him then to the cieling to grab in some thoughts.
"..right I'm not the decision maker here." I pursed my lips and looked away.
"So Heph won't be coming here anytime tonight?" I asked still hopefull.
"Nope he won't. So please drop the dirty act. And one thing more. The thing he's doing to you is downright disgusting and so wrong. I hope you see pass the excitement especially since it's unhealthy." He warned me before standing up.
I just kept my mouth shut and looked away.
I can't..
"Then atleast try." Drac said as he walks out the door.
Right i forgot. He could read my mind.
