"Wakey-wakey Dracy-baby," i smiled while pulling the blanket off from Draco.
"Urgh you usually sleep till 8 what happened? Am i missing something?" He said in asleepy voice while pushing himself up. As if on cue the lamps around the room lights up, filling in the dark room.
I blew my own lamp and sat on tbe edge of the bed while looking at him move.
After doing a couple stretches he stood up and started to fold the bed using his magic while he pulls up a chair and food for me to eat.
"It's 4:30, and your already having your breakfast." He snorted and sat at the other side of the table.
I giggled and ate the steak prepared for me whole heartedly.
"So you do know what I'm gonna do today," i smiled widely after finishing the first heavy meal he prepared for me.
"I'm actually surprised that you're looking forward for it, you'd be having your 'date' to Alexander after all. It would be understandable if you're like this to Hephaestion since you have growing feelings for him but Alex? Are you oit if your mind?" He asked while massaging his nose bridge.
"Are you sure you haven't heard what Alex said to me?" I said in a matter if fact tone.
"I heard everything but i still don't get it.. even your brain is a huge mess that i refuse to read it sometimes." He groaned as if he has such a huge burden to carry around.
"And for that thought, I'd happily tell you that YOU are the huge burden I'm carrying." He spoke answering my inner voice.
I frowned at him.
"Ahh, so what do you want to do next?" He asked taking his last bite of his own steak. He snapped his fingers once and the table instantly went clean.
"Hmm, since your not allowed to tell me anything about what's gonna happen to my life here or what's gonna happen to me with either Alex or Heph, amuse me.. i want to know more about where you came from while i pick clothes to wear." I smiled and stood up.
I walked towards the cabinet and magically it was full of dresses, viels, a few shoes under them while above is a huge wooden bix full of jewelries.. ohh I really love bieng spoiled!
I pulled out the first dress and immediately disliked it. I showed it to Draco and he rolled his eyes. He made a mirror blocking him from me.
I gently waved the dress, checked myself on the mirror and still frowned, usually i love all dresses with yellow but.. it's too thin.. and the yellow is a little bit on that dirty yellow side in color too, not my type.
"I don't like this.." i whispered and i could've swore i hear Draco whisper 'here we go again'
"Draco, instead of complaining, why don't you tell me something about your world just like i proposed. That way you'd be able to not hear my complains and also have me listening." I tilted my head to the side and looked at him. He is laying on his back and his arm covered his eye blocking the lights.
"Urgh fine fine, I'm not in the mood to talk but if it means, 'you not complaining' I'll choose it." He sat up and looked at me.
"Where do i start?" He asked.
"Well.." i paused and moved the mirror to the wall and pulled the chair nearby close to me. I dropped the yellow dress on the chair and looked at Draco.
"How about starting on how did you know that you are from La Yopa i thought you don't know-" before i could finish my sentence he showed me a fire sign in his wrist. It magically appeared that i didn't stop myself from touching it.
"That is the only thing i know about my identity." He mumbled. I looked at him and pouted. That's.. sad.
"Not really, it's a duty and honor to be a waybook guide." He smiled at me.
I nodded and went to my cabinet to pick up another dress. I cleared my throat after picking a blue tunic dress.
"Since you don't know who you are in your world but do still remember details of your world, please do tell more about it, let's do.. To Mante which is the realm of the gems?" I asked while swinging this blue tunic. It looks good but not good enough.
"Yes, To Mante is the Realm of gems. It is mostly made out of the most precious gems." He started.
I smiled and dropped the blue tunic in the chair. "I would love to be there." I commented and looked for another dress.
"You won't after for long."
"Hmm? Why is that?" I asked pulling out another blue dress, but this time the color is a lot lighter.
"To Mante may be rich in jewels since literally everywhere you'll see one growing out of the ground but.. there are no trees or plants or even grasses in this realm."
"Huh? How's that? How do people live then?" I asked dropping the blue dress on the chair.
"Well.. they buy potted plants. Large seedlings from the giants and a sturdy clay pot made by the dwarves. Atleast that is the number one plant you'll see if ever you explore my world and land into To Mante. That tree is everywhere in that place. Plus the people of To Mante do thier best to buy alot of potted plants that it seems like it is thier currency." He explained.
"Ha.. but doesn't that make that place the most powerful and richest realm? It literally has diamonds, rubies, emeralds and silver. Maybe the rare pink diamond is there too, and it may not be even rare in that place. And if that's so full of gems, then i bet it's a target for robers!" I guessed.
"Yes that's the another downside about To Mante. But it is managed, the land has it's own spirit and feels whenever the one asking or mining for gems is worthy of having a piece of its land. If not, a warning would be given to it."
"Okay wait wait, i have few questions before you continue." I said as i dropped the 15th dress down the chair.
"Go ahead."
"Okay.. asking and mining for gems.. what do you mean by that?" I asked.
"Well asking is for the people of To Mante. The people would usually whisper to a gem that is protruding high above the ground and the land decides to give what the person asks or not. Mining is for the visitors. It is a must to knock the crystal or gem you want three times and wait for a yes and no from the land. If the land agrees for the visitor to have the gem it automatically unbinds half of the gem out of the ground but if it doesn't the gem will be buried deeper and a pointy rock will replace it."
"Wow." I was speachless. Who wouldn't be?
"Yeah, I answered your other questions too. Am i now free?" He asked looking at the pile of dresses.
"Nope. Tell me about Nas Gahan the realm of nature." I said and took the whole box full of jewelry with me and sat besides Drac.
Draco moved the mirror and placed it in front of me.
"Nas Gahan is the twin of To Mante, only that this place is full of plants. The people living here are giants, Phyllimas, elves, fairies, and dwarves."
"What are Phyllimas?" I asked amd set aside the jewelry that passed my taste.
I was fast at choosing for sandals. There wasn't much to choose from and all look somehow the same so it's not as hard.
"Phyllimas are people that could transform into a snake."
"Are they dangerous? What kind of snake do they transform to?" I asked picking up a pink dress.
"Yes, they are extremely dangerous. About what kind of snake do they transforn into, It depends on what race they come from."
"Are there anaconda.. people?" I asked putting the first ever dress i liked besides him.
"There are some few left. I don't know what happened on why they're almost extinct but there is this event in our history called "The Forgotten", most of the unanswered questions about our world is all in that era, but what happened for that whole era, is unknown.. there are no books written about it.. there are still few people from the long lived race who remembers what happened in that era that tries to write what happened but whever they start to write.. the ink vanishes." He explained.
"Hmm." I sat besides him and looked at his handsome face.
"So when these long lived people die, thier memories of this "Forgotten Era" will die with them?" I asked. I know for a fact that history is important, and without knowledge of an entire era that answers most of the things that is happening in the present of Drac's world.. his world would be a total mess.
"There is a rumour roaming around that before this person who contains the knowledge of the past dies, his or her memories would be transferred to someone he or she trust most during his lifetime."
"Oh.. do you believe in this rumor?" I asked standing up and picked a certain dress, it's all stuck in the very end that i had to take it out since it's irritating me.
"I could only hope, since what if a medicine for an uncurable sickness is found in that era? Or what if the limitations of what our land can do surpasses the limitations?" Draco sighed heavily.
"You seem to be really into this part of history." I pointed out, noticing his heavy sighs. I looked back at the dress and gasped.
"That one looks good you should try it out." Drac examined it from where he is at.
"Yeah maybe i should." I smiled and pulled the mirror and put it in front of him.
"Anyways about you.. maybe something might have happened to you that the only solution you know is found in that "The Forgotten Era."" I commented.
Draco just hummed behind the mirror.
This dress is the one. It screams elegance and simpleness at the same time. It's a bit revealing in the front part but it's I'll give it a chance.
I pulled the mirror out of the way and allowed Drac to comment on my dress.
"So? What do you think?" I asked twirling around.
"I think it suits you. You better pick a viel to cover your face next. Remember, you look exactly like Roxana. You might be labeled as an imposter." He warned.
"Oh yeah, i almost forgot about Roxana." I groaned and pulled a gold and silver colored viel out.
I sat down at the vanity table Drac magically pulled out.
I used the viel to cover half of my face and put Heph's necklace inside my pocket since this dress couldn't cover it.
"There your done, and at exactly 6 o'clock. There will be another hour left before Alex arrives so what you you gonna do by then? Couse I'll gladly sleep." Drac yawned and crawled up the bed.
"Na-uh you're not sleeping. You're still going to tell me more about your world." I pulled the hem of his shirt. He groaned in frustration and sat down, leaning in the wall.
I smiled widely and sat besides him carefully to avoid any crumpling of my dress.
"What else do you want to know?" He asked boredly.
"What is the name of the realm of water?" I asked, "Oh and is there a way for me to see that world?"
He sighed but still nodded. He waved his hand and suddenly a small replica of a beautiful ocean appeared in front of me. In the middle of the ocean the color of the ocean seemed to get lighter.
I gently pressed that part and suddenly it zoomed in inside the water and then brought out a glorious city filled with mermaids and mermans, sharks and whales, fishes and more swimming pass a city of large corals and pearls. But what cought my attention more is the fact that the tails of the mermaids and mermans are so beautiful, it's a larger version of the tails of the fish here on Earth!
"Wow.." i muttered in amazement.
"Yeah i know. That is the kingdom of Queen Oceania, her kingdom is the most prosperous and colorfull kingdom inside Agua Soga." He explained then swiped his hands across the floating replica.
It moved fastly then it stopped at a much more darker place but the creatures inside here were more magical.
I gently touched the beautiful dark place. These people inside are unique and beautiful, thier hair are glowing, literally. Their tails however are a little bit rough, shark tails, i must say. Their eyes are different too, the pupils covers almost half of their eyes.
"Are these people still called mermaids?" I asked and looked at Drac.
Drac shook his head, "They go more on MerAngels." He then swiped it towards the next area. The area was above water though.
"Wait is that Nas Gahan?" I asked looking at the large mangrove trees, tall grasses and more.
"Yes it is, this is the border of Nas Gahan and Agua Soga. It is where the MerFairies live. They are extremely small and they live inside these tall trees. It's hard to find where their house lies which is safe because MerFairies hold a very precious dust which is essential to cancelling the effect of most poisons and venoms." He explained more further.
"I see, do you think we can spot one single merfairy?" I asked in excitement, but my excitement subsided when Draco shook his head.
"It's hard. Since they are extremely tiny, thier faces are still unknown, even to us so I can't show you that unfortunatey. Plus if we are in that place, we might even never see one even though we might have accidentally find thier houses. They have scape routes everywhere and backup houses. Cutting trees wont help since they could just jump back in the water and hide under a rock, and who knows maybe they'll make a new home in there."
"They seem to be in high demand."
"They are. Now what do you want to know next." It is Drac's time to look at me. I was about to say Gimal Won, tge realm of ice when we heard loud knock.
"Who that?" I asked and stood up.
Drac fixed himself too and changed his clothes in a small snap. He snapped again to clean the room and snapped once more to remove the vanity table and the dresses.
I nodded and held the door knob when the person who knocked just entered without a word.
"Aw! My hand!" I glared at Alexander who just busted in.
"Oh.. I'm sorry Agapè. Hmm." His worried face turned into a smile after looking at me.
"You're ready." He pulled my waist and kissed my hand.
Aww
Eww
Me and Drac commented inside our minds.
What do you mean Eww!? I groaned inside my mind while smiling at Alex, accepting his hand.
"I'll take your sister from here Draco. Have a good day." He bid farewell to Draco then pulled me.
I let him pull me as i still glared at Draco until he was out of sight. He just laughed at me in my mind and said his farewells to me as if I'm never coming back.
Hmp!
Alex gently guided me up the Carriage then entered himself after.
"So where are we headed?" I asked after a long silence.
"At the gardens." He replied.
"At the gardens where?" I asked again.
"The palace." He spoke and kept quiet after.
Nice talking to you too. I said sarcastically in my mind. Wait..
"Is Roxana there too?" I asked worried. I don't wanna die so early!
"Yes, is there a problem?" He asked genuinely curious.
I bit my lip and just focused on the road ignoring his question. I gripped my dress as i look outside the window.
Roxana literally killed every woman Alex has in order to have the throne secured to their child. What do i do??
Relax. That's what you do, enjoy and understand why you are here the first place.
Draco spoke through mindlink before cutting it off.
Hmm, Draco has my back. I shouldn't forget that.
I let loose my breathing and smiled.
"You look pretty if you smile but i bet you'd be more beautiful if you take off that viel." Alex suddenly spoke.
I blushed at his compliment but remained silent until we reached the palace.
"Thank you." I said as i step out of the carriage through Alex's guide.
"Come on I've got alot in store for you." He smiled and held my hand.
"Go ahead please me." I dared and he happily complied.
FOR ALMOST half the day, we talked, laughed and shared our stories, mainly his, together. Alex do has alot in store. He is really fun to be with when he is not this all grumpy faced which he usually is.
"It's midday. Come on let's eat inside." He held my hand and pulled me up.
"Well well well, what do we have here?" I heard a familiar voice in the back.
I slowly turned around and saw a fake smile plastered in Roxana's face and behind her is Heph.
My heart immediately jumped at the sight of this man. Gosh look at what you've done to me.
"Roxana. Good morning." Alex said still standing proud and strong as if he wasn't caught hanging out with some one who isn't his wife.
"What is the meaning of this?" Roxana's voice trembled in anger but manages to keep a straight face.
"Having one of the best days in my life." Alex answered.
Oh no. I'm dead. I'm literally dead.
"How dare-"
"Princess why don't you talk to your husband inside. I'll take care of this lovely maiden." Heph stepped in and held my hand.
Both Heph and Alex shared glances before Heph started to take me away.
"Heph, thank you." I whispered while walking awkwardly out of the scene.
"You owe me one for that." He whispered back making me smile.
"Hmm, i happen to see what is behind that hill and there is a small lake down there. Why don't we go there? It seems a nice place to cool off since it is quite hot today. We might as well remember our first meeting, let's eat there too just like the first time we met." I whispered and looked at him.
A huge smile plastered in his face as we took a different path, heading towards the horse stalls. He talked to one of the soldiers in charge of that area and the soldier immediately complied. I wonder what that is.
I leaned on a pillar while i watched him do his thing with the horse. I bit my lip at the naughty scene playing in my mind.
I think it's time...
