"Margaux I- uh," Heph whispered.
"'I am marrying one of the princesses' is that hard to say Heph?" I asked in a bitter voice. Heph pulled off his hands from me, held my chin to make me look at him.
"Where did you get that thought?" Heph asked curiously.
I looked at the perfect view then at him. I shrugged and stood up, "It doesn't matter you know, as long as-"
"Margaux seriously where is this coming from? I'm not marrying any of the princesses," he stood up and held my hand. He pulled my waist and cleared off the few strands of hair covering my face.
I rolled my eyes and scoffed. "Yeah right," i said sarcastically.
"Alexander is marrying the princesses not me. I would never ever do that to you." He explained then caressed my cheeks.
If you only know.. I closed my eyes wanting to believe him. But in history you'll marry Drypetis..
"Okay if you say so." I pushed his figure away and walked back at the palace, it's a long way from here but as long as i get out of Heph's sight it would be fine. It was supposed to be a quite time together but it got destroyed, just because of those two. Urgh!
"Margaux wait up. Please." I took a faster pace but Heph ran and blocked my way. I took a deep breath and looked at him straight in the eye.
"Margaux i don't know who told you that but whoever did will seriously pay." He spoke while we look at each other eye to eye not breaking contact, his voice getting darker than usual.
"Heph-"
"Chiliarach Hephaestion!!" A seductive voice stopped me and Heph's staring contest. We both looked at the same direction where an idiot woman in a gown walking towards us.
Oh my gosh, give me a break. I grunted as we wait for her to come.
"Hello, my name is Drypetis, i am so honored to meet you, i tried following you in your escort a while ago but i lost you. I just want to personally give you a gift i made. I've been wanting to give it to you for a very long time now." She chirped and gave him a pendant. Stupid pendant.
"Thanks," he smiled and examined the pendant. I looked at it too and it had alot of symbols. I would bet one of those mean something else.
I glared at her and she glared back.
"Do you like it?" She asked and stepped forward, aiming to hold on Heph's arms.
Yeah no way. I immediately pulled Heph toward me and hugged him.
Drypetis glared daggers at me but instantly changed it into an innocent face when Heph looked at her.
"I liked it thank you." He smiled and bowed lightly.
Draco, do you have a gun? I asked, my patience is growing thin and it's just the first meet up with this woman.
Mademoiselle guns aren't invented yet in this times. Draco joked.
Urgh! I shouted back at him. I'm so frustrated!
Fine, fine, see it this way. Roxana will eventually kill her. Did that made you feel good?
No, i don't know. What would Roxana's reason be to kill her? Plus research says that Roxana 'maybe' killed her. No proof still. I grunted.
Uhmm.. i dunno BUT tell you what, Do what you think is best for you, it's your story to write. Draco comforted me before cutting our link.
I took a deep breath and smiled wickedly.
"If you don't mind Ms.. I'm sorry i forgot your name, can i take Chiliarach with me." Drypetis smiled fakely.
I smiled back at her with the same plastic face. "No, sorry. He's mine."
To my amazement Drypetis's fake face didn't falter and looked at Heph.
"It's actually your decision to make here my lord." Drypetis crossed our personal bubble and hung on Hephs arms.
"Hephaestion say no." I smiled at him creepily. Heph smiled at me and took off his arms from Drypetis. He held my waist and hoisted me up. I immediately wrapped my legs around his waist and started making out with him, still carefull to not drop my viel out- in front of Drypetis.
I looked at Drypetis who had a bitter face before deepening our kiss.
"I'll leave you be then.. General." She spoke softly and stormed out of sight.
I pulled out from the kiss and looked at him. Heph dropped me down carefully and caressed my cheeks.
"You look adorable when your jealous." He chuckled. I punched him in the stomach and turned my back at him my arms crossing.
"Am i forgiven?" Heph whispered behind my ear and hugged me from behind. A small smile crept into my face.
"Yeah, fine." I said in a strong voice although I'm basically melting inside.
"Though I'm curious.. what does the symbol in the pendant mean?" I asked and turned around. I searched for his pocket and took the pendant.
"Nothing important." He shrugged and placed a small kiss on my lips. I rotated the pendant and threw in up
"Nothing important huh. Then am i allowed to throw this away?" I asked testing him.
"Yeah sure. Do you want to go to the swordsmith? We can drop the pendant in the scorching fire." He smiled widely and enterwined his hands with mine.
"I'm allowed? Really?" My eyes glowed at that thought.
"Anything to make the woman besides me happy." Heph whispered while i giggled. This would be fun! Although..
Draco, is their a way for you to see what I'm seeing? I really want to know what is written here. I spoke to Draco.
For a split second, my eyes blacked out.
Did you see it? That was you right? I asked nervous.
Yeah, haha. Draco laughed then cleared his throat. The symbols meant sexual and love interest.
Sexual and Love.. oh I'm having fun melting this stupid thing.
Me and Heph talked all the way until we arrived at the smithing area. We talked about his battle and his favorite experience during it, i flinched alot during his story, sometimes i forgot that he kills for the kingdom.. for Alex.
"We're here." Heph whispered. He took the necklace with his insignia and dropped it on my head. He let go of my hand and I pulled up my gown and walked around. It's too dirty.
Their are piles of swords leaning on the walls. By the looks of it, it's freshly made and you can even see the sharpness of it.
I looked at Heph who is tossing a sword up and down horizontally making me flinch. He eventually dropped it back where he took it and stood up straight. He looked at me and winked making me blush.
"Adrastus!" He shouted while i stood up perfectly still. Immediately after, a big man came out of the wide door and bowed lightly at Heph.
Dang he looks scary. He is extremely dirty and have alot of scars around his hands. One scar that stood out most is the scar her has in his left cheek.
I bit my lip when he looked at me. His eyes dropped down at the necklace before giving me a bow.
I awkwardly bowed back and watched them interact.
"So General, i assume you are here for your sword? I fixed it all up, it's as good as new." The man spoke in a deep yet amusing voice. His outer cheeks down to his chin is fully covered with beard, i can barely see his mouth moving.
He extended his arms and opened a hidden compartment where a small parcel covered in dirty cloth appeared. He took it out and opened the cloth before him.
"Beautiful," Heph smile was wide as he took out the long shiny sword from Adrastus's hands.
Curiously, i walked to his side and took the sword from his hand. His insignia is still there but a small detail was added. The letters A and M.
They're my initials.. no, don't overthink.
I showed the insignia plastered on my necklace and the insignia on the sword.
"Something's different." I told him innocently.
Both of the men in front of me laughed making me frown.
"I believe this is the woman you've been talking about? Such a lovely maiden here, you're in luck." Adrastus complemented. I smiled back at him.
"Thank you." I whispered.
"To answer your question my dear, oir General personally asked me to add that to his insignia, i figured that it is a woman's initial and it turns out that I'm right." He teased.
My face turned red as i look at Heph. Hephaestion winked at me and chuckled, he gave the sword a little toss before slidding the sword to his sword sheath.
"Is there anything else you need?" The man asked.
I showed him the pendant, "I want to burn this. Someone unimportant gave it to him and i hate it."
Adrastus chuckled and gave an opening inside the smithing area. "Can i see that? I could add that to the metal I'll melt." He extended his arms and i gave it to him.
"I think that's pure gold. But don't use it. It's bad luck." I said bluntly and went inside. It was extremely hot but i couldn't care less.
"If the General's lady think so then i agree." Adrastus gave me the pendant back and opened the fireplace. He gave me a long metal with a wooden handle then assisted me to the side.
I hung the pendant at the end the metal and slid it at the fireplace. It was slow but after sometime, the pendant started to melt. I gave the handle to Adrastus and went straight to Heph.
I kissed his cheeks and gave him my satisfied smile.
"Are you satisfied?" Heph asked wrapped his arms around me.
"Yep, you should give me all the stuff the whore girls gave you. Adrastus i am welcome here right?" I asked and looked at Adrastus.
Adrastus stopped what he is doing to look at me then nodded. "Of course, anytime my dear." He gave a warm smile.
"He said I'm welcome! So did you keep some things they gave you!" I asked.
Heoh laughed and kissed my forehead. "I did keep some things that got my attention but you're free to have it."
"Yey! Anyways it's getting really hot, let's go?" I asked and pulled Heph.
Heoh nodded and bid goodbye to Adrastus. I waved at him too before going out.
"Wow, i forgot it's still day." I commented while i pat my chest to ket go of some smoke. I definitely took in alot.
"Yes it is, anyways, we both have to go back. They're looking for us for sure." Heph brushed his shoulders where ashes dropped by.
I looked at my gown and it looks a bit messy. "I'll catch up, i don't want to go inside looking like this, and smelling like this."
"Okay then, meet you there." Heph pulled up my viel and kissed me before heading back at the palace.
I on the other hand walked in a more covered area. While walking i saw two figures, a man and a woman.
"That's Alex right? With a woman too, that can't be right, that's not Roxana's dress." I tiptoed into the corner to look at the woman next to him. That's not Roxana.
They both turned around and i saw a clear view of who he's with.

Instinctively i looked around to find a large wood to bat the womans head. As soon as i found one i immediately duck down to pick it where at the same time another woman grabbed it. I raised my head to see who it is.
"Roxana!"
"Margaux!"
We both whispered, shocked. We raised our brows and looked at both persons having the best time of their life. Recovering from shock, we both ducked down and crawled to the next tallest bush.
"How are you with Heph? That Drypetis immediately followed you two, did Heph ditch you?" She asked.
I shook my head. "No i successfully pushed her off. I'm actually about to head back to your room to change since that stupid princess gave Heph a pendant which has explicit intentions that i burned it in the smithing area." I explained.
"Good for you, me one the other side was attacked from the back, literally! I just turned around to talk and welcome the guests but then when i turned around, Alex was gone and so was Strateira! Urgh! I hate them!" She gripped tight on the wood.
I let go if the wood, patted her back and peeked at the two. I looked up the sky, and the sun is setting.
"Why don't we first go and change then you seduce your man i front of her. That will show her." I whispered and she nodded.
"Is this what you did?" She raised her brows. I winked at her and she laughed.
"What? What is ours is ours, no one takes them." I said.
"And the people who dares to touch them will face great consequences." She added and we both laughed.
"Let's go," Roxana whispered. I smiled and nodded, her confidence is running back to her again. She's recovering, she's strong.
We both peeked at the two for the last time before rushing up to Roxana's chambers.
As soon as we arrived, i ran straight to the drawer while Roxana ran straight to her long table full of her supplies.
"Let's pick something elegant." I said while dropping each dress to the side.
"Elegant and Sexy." She added while she looks at the jewelry.
"Something red?" I turned around to show her two dresses that are revealing but beautiful.
"Something expensive and shiny?" She showed me a pair of earrings and necklace, both decorated with a large ruby but still has unique designs.
We both nodded and dropped the accessories and dress in the bed.
We both spreaded it in the bed before going back to our respective places, me looking at the shoes next and Roxana checking at the perfumes.
"A cup of seductiveness and a tablespoon of sweetness." She showed me two bottles of perfume. She sprayed them both and they blended beautifully in the air.
That's more like it.
"High quality sandals?" I showed her the pair of shoes. We both chuckled at how we botha re bieng productive. We both went infront of the bed then started changing.
We didn't care getting naked before each other. We stripped off our clothes and put on our dresses, then accessories, then sandals, then our perfume. I used my viel then faced the large mirror.
"Last touch is high ponytail." I said and pulled my hair up into a clean ponytail.
Roxana walked beside me and brushed her hair.
"I'll do mine dangling free, they're a little bit curly so it will do." Roxana said.
We did our hair, adding accessories here and there before rushing down the hallway, careful enough to not damage our dresses.
As we go near the room the voices got alot louder.
"We can do this." Roxana smiled and i nodded.
We hid from a pillar and peeked down at the crowd, Heph and Alex is back. Each being clung unto by the princesses we both grew to hate just hours in.
"Leech,"
"Snake,"
Me and Roxana hissed at the same time. We looked at each other and grinned.
"Let's go." Roxana whispered and led the way.
Gently walking, we showed ourselves to the crowd. There were a few gasps and cheers.
Yeah we definitely got their attention. We both looked down and immediately our men stood up, leaving the princesses, to meet us.
"Hey," the men said in unison. Me and Roxana shared a knowing look, the look of success, before accepting the hands of our men.
Mission success. I grinned happily. I spotted Draco from afar, blending in with the crowd and he has a proud smile in his face.
You like it? I asked.
Who wouldn't? Draco answered back making me laugh.
You two are indestructible and incredibly hot. Draco commented.
I smiled brightly at his complement, We are.. indeed we are.
