"Woah, woah, woah, who do you think you are?" I pulled back and pushed him as hard as I could.
"Margaux it's me Hephaestion, remember? Have I changed a lot? I don't think so, you look thinner than before and also younger, is that even possible? I mean I- ah I," he stuttered as he look at me.
He pressed my shoulders together then carried me up just like a feather while turning me around.
"Woah this is the first time you didn't use than green dress of yours. Blue looks good at you though." he smiled as he pulls me back into a hug.
"Hey! Boundaries please," I complained but he didn't let go.
After a few minutes, more and more soldier came from each houses pulling the women and children out from their houses.
"What's happening?" I asked in between his arms. He gave me a little space to poke out my head but still has me caging in between his arms not wanting to let me go.
"Hey! What's wrong with you? Could you please let go of me now? It's not like I would go somewhere," I said still pushing him but he shook his head no.
"The last time we let go of you, we lost in touch for four years, we actually thought you were Roxana, you look exactly like her so Alex instantly married her- happy that she or you are the princess of Persia not knowing that she is not really you." he said holding my face up.
I furrowed my brows at him, Roxana? Princess of Persia? He's so wierd and i cannot even understand what he's saying.
I was about to ask him when a crying woman was stabbed in the chest by one of the soldiers.
"Ah!" I yelled horrified before burying my face in Hephalion's chest. Minute after minute the same kind of scream filled the air from other people making my knees tremble.
"He- hey," Hephation catches me before I completely fell. "Are you okay? Tell me something to make you feel at ease." he asked, worry washing all over his face.
"THE SCREAMS! Make them stop please!" I yelled as my tears started to flood down on my face.
"Shh, it's okay. There, there." he hushed me pulling me towards his chest before placing both of his palms in each side of my ears, covering them.
"Everyone! Cover their mouths!" I heard Hephaileon shout, his voice vibrating in his body making me tremble more in fear.
After a few seconds everything came silent, I tried to push him away from me but he refused to make me move as I felt him rip the hem of my dress and used it to cover my eyes. I raised my hand to take off the cover but he just held down my hand and carried me bridal style.
"Let go of me!" I shouted as I punched him. While we both pass through I heard muffled screams making stop my punching.
"Is everything alright Margaux?" he asked startling me, "Aww, you're as hard as a rock," I groaned after punching something hard.
I heard him chuckle making me pout. "Where are we going?" I asked after a few attempts of taking off my blindfold or even punch him in the eye.
"To a quiet place," he whispered before carrying me up to sit on something bumpy.
"Uh Heph, not that I'm complaining but.. I'm uncomfortable and imma-- I'm ah kinda losing my balance." I nervously sat as I did my best to maintain my balance.
Niegh!
A horse? "Heph, please don't tell me that I'm riding in a horse," I nervously asked as I used my hands to feel my surroundings.
"Keep still sweetheart, you'll fall," Hephaestion spoke after a few seconds before sitting down beside me.
He grabbed my arms and make we wrap something which I would guess to be his waist. "Put your arms around me, tight." he whispered. I took a deep breath and did exactly what he said.
He chuckled at how tight I was holding him but didn't bother teasing me about it, thank goodness.
"Hi-yah!!" he shouted and made the horse run.
"Wuah! Too fast! Too fast!" I screamed on top of my lungs that even my blindfold is starting to go off.
"Please stop this instant." I requested but he just whipped his horse making the horse run faster.
"Please stop! Please! I just wanna go home, look Mr. Hephatestosterone or whoever you are, please respect me as a woman and head me back of the town!" I shouted making him stop the horse in an instant.
I lost my balance and was falling off the back of the horse when I felt his large arms pull me back.
"You really can't remember me? Or Alex?" he asked as he faces me. An emotion crossed in his face but instantly went blank afterwards.
"I'm sorry, did I hurt your feelings? I- I-I'm kinda new to this place and I- uh," I tried to explain as the tension between us rises up higher and higher every passing minute.
"Where's your home?" he asked in a deep tone sending me goosebumps all over my body.
"Uh back in the--"
"Where!" he growled making me whimper in fear. Seeing my state his blank face instantly was filled with emotions and pulled into a hug.
"What happened to you Margaux? You've changed a lot," he whispered behind my ear.

"SO YOU'RE telling me that I'm malnourished!?" I unbelievably looked at him at threw a rock on his face.
He chuckled and catches the rock without glimpse and threw it far away. He sighed in contentment and laid on the green grass tapping the ground next to him, urging me to lay down.
I laid down too but not as close enough as where he wanted me to be. I made sure to have at least 1 and 1/2 meter distance between us before laying down the ground.
After what he told me I'm still not too sure if I would believe it.
He told me that we first met at Thrace where the battle was bloody but that time he spared me and had set me free. He also said that he was wondering how I looked younger like as if I grew down to a teen not grew up into an adult.
I hope it really isn't an insult I didn't realize though or I'll kill him with my own hands.
Though that is not only where the magic stops, he reintroduced himself which made me conclude a something. I was back in the Macedonian times, where Alexander the Great rules. I am amazed with the story of Alexander but I know that he kills for power while also being a womanizer.
"You know, back then, you seem to pretty be so in love with Alex, tsha! I thought you were a spy sent by the enemy that I followed you everywhere you go but you will just disappear behind the bushes and then next thing I know you sneaked up on me." he recalled still staring at the sky.
I pursed my lips not knowing what to say. Geez, what if that girl isn't even me? Nothing adds up with all the events and it is totally messed up. If It were real that I'm back on the Macedonian Rule then that means that I am in an important part of the history so I should do my best to not mess the mess that was already created or that I might have started.
"Hmm Heph, how sure are you that i- uh, I'm the girl your talking about," I muttered unsurely as I push myself up. The grass isn't comfortable.
"Hmm maybe because you hold the same perfume. I had to admit that, that is the most fragrant perfume I've ever smelled. Even Alex had gone crazy about it that he called for the finest perfume makers to make him one but not a single one seems to get the ingredients all right. Please do tell, what do you use?" he asked.
I looked at him with no response at all, what was I supposed to say? It's a commercial product produced in the future. Thousand years later? Nah I don't think so.
"You talk about Alex a lot huh? You two seem really close? Is he around?" I asked, based on the books I've read Alexander and Hephaestion share the strongest bond. It's unbreakable and incredibly fascinating.
"Alex again huh? How about me? We've been here for a while yet he's still the one you are looking for? So unfair,:" he mumbled and stood up.
"It's lunch time, here come lets head down that river to freshen things up. I'll just go back to the camp to get up some food after." he said stretching his joints and went to his horse and untied him.
I ran my fingers across its majestic mane before receiving Heph's hands and pushed myself up.
"Hold on tight sweetheart, the ride is downhill. It would be a bumpy ride." he whispered. I rolled my eyes and wrapped my arms around his waist.
Now I'm jealous, he's a boy yet his waist is perfect in shape while I can't even concentrate on my diet losing my figure.
"And were here," Heph informed as he walks the horse near the bush. He tied it there before escorting me down.
I smiled as I walk towards the lake. It was crystal clear and the sky is being reflected on top. There are a lot of moss and weeds underneath. There are fishes swimming around relaxing me. I know I shouldn't feel like this even from the truth that there may be thousands of life has been taken away.
I sighed and climbed the rock and sat there. The sky is clear and the wind is gently waving my hair. I dont know how far away we are from the town, but the noises I hear are the chirps of the birds in the air.
Thinking about the peaceful place, it gave me goosebumps. I suddenly felt awful, a lot of people are being sold as slaves while I relax here with the person who ordered to kill those innocent people.
"Margaux I'll just head back the camp. Wait for me here okay? Here I want you to use this and show this to whoever comes near you while I'm gone, I'll be fast." he said as he wraps a heavy necklace around my neck. He attempted to give me a kiss but I leaned back.
He sighed and tap my shoulders. He jumped down the rock and climbed on his horse, riding it as fast as a lighting.
After a few minutes it started to get really, really hot. The sun was not being nice to me and I'm starting to get dizzy because of the heat. I looked back at the trail Heph took but he's still nowhere to be seen.
I wanted to refreshed a bit but I have no extra clothes. Hmm maybe I'll just dip down a bit then use my clothes back again after I'm refreshed.
I pursed my lips and looked back at the trail, there were no signs of upcoming men. I sighed and took off all my clothes and spread it unto the rocks before jumping on the cool water.
"Ha! That's so cool," I shouted as I pop my head out of the water. Playing with the water, I did a couple of swimming techniques. Ahh so refreshing..
"I see your having fun.." Heph caught me off-guard making me almost drown. He was sitting next to my clothes and the next thing I knew he has my clothes smelling and looking at it with a dirty look.
I scurried fast towards the huge rock to cover my naked body then shot him a deadly glare. "Put my clothes down general." I gritted in between my teeth making him chuckle.
"You've got a quite nice perfume. It's a lot different than what you used before," he spoke as he place down my clothes and hoped down the rock towards his horse. I hid in between the rocks and attentively looked at him as he puts down the cloth down the green grass.
"Hey! What do you mean with my perfume!?" I shouted as I try to jump and grab my dress. Urgh, my height sucks.
"The last time we saw you, you were always wearing that green dress with that matching seductive perfume[. I've gotta admit I got turned on by it.." he chuckled as he spreads the cloth even.
Why is he so straight forward?
"O-- kay.. And how different is it now?" I asked as I successfully pulled my dress over. I cussed out loud when the dress dropped in the water. "Urgh Really? Ahh! I hate this!" I shouted my frustration out as I took the sinking dress up in the water.
"What happened?" Heph asked as he walks down towards my direction.
"Wait, wait, no, Stop! Stop right there old man!" I shouted, pulling the cloth down to cover my private parts.
Heph looked at me amused then looked at the rock where my undergarments was now hanging and at any moment is about to drop down the water.
"Darn!" I shouted then swam towards the rock to catch my undergarments. I sighed in relief as I fold them and put them into safe place. Oh my..
"Look away!" I shouted again making him laugh. I dropped my body lower unto the water and covered my middle before swimming near him in which my wet dress floated to.
"Hephaestion!" I shouted making him drop down into laughter.
"Wha-- re, really!?" I shouted as I whip the water towards the ground where he was rolling in laughter.
"That is not funny at all! I demand you to turn around and finish what you are doing, Now!" I shouted, I'm really, really embarrassed right now that I wish that this water is alive and swallow me whole.
"Yes Madame," he finally stood up and winked at me. But instead of turning around like he said he took off all his clothes in front of me.
"Wha-- what are you doing!?" I shouted as I turn around to cover my eyes. I barely know this man and now I almost, ALMOST saw his naked glory. Please tell me what did I do to end up in this situation..
Before I kno it a large waved made me move towards the middle indicating that he too was with me down this lake.
I gulped and walked the other way, as far as my feet could go and as far as my feet could touch the piece of land underneath.
"Hey, where do you think you're going?" Heph asked as he pulled me back, his hands is in my waist. My back hit his chest making me feel unsteady.
"Look sire, I barely know you so please. Boundaries." I pushed his hands of the faced him.
His eyes travelled down from my eyes, to my lips then to my bare chest making me whimper.
"Eyes up here!" I shouted as I hold on to his jaw to raise his head up.
He smiled at me before taking my hand towards his cheeks urging me to caress it for him.
"Uh.. No." I said as I swim down the surface and pulled his shirt. I stood up feeling heavy and walked around the stone to dry up.
"I'm not an idiot to not know you're looking," I said in a loud voice as I twist my hair to drain the water flowing from my head after putting down the shirt in a clean spot.
"Your body is perfect," Heph said on top of the rock startling me. I dropped down my butt exposing my body.
"Oww, I think I hit that round bone on top of my butt." I groaned as I rub it. Heph chuckled and hopped down still naked then carried my bridal style.
"You're dirty, lets wash your body on the water first." he said as he walks us back to the water.
"Take your shirt too, I won't want to last naked in your sight for too long." I glared at him as he drops me gently down the lake and went back around for the shirt. He hang the shirt in the nearest bush and jumped on the water making a huge wave enough to push me on the middle.
"Hmp!" I scoffed and rubbed my body. After I was done I rose up the water and used the shirt anyways not wanting to repeat the scenario.
"Come on it isn't that bad, and what's the use of having a beautiful body if your just gonna cover it." he teased as he raises up the water. I groaned and looked away. He's horny.
"To answer that question of yours, one, why would i? two I'm not a prostitute, three, if I were gonna show off my body I better show it off to some one that I really, really like." I spat as I sit down the cloth on the floor still dripping water.
I leaned in to take a bread and tore a piece for me to eat. Urgh what time is it?
"Don't you like me?" Heph asked sadly as he lays down the grass, his head was besides my hips. I moved away and looked out in the open. There are dark clouds coming from the right.
"I see, you still like him.. Don't you?" he tsked as he looks at the same clouds too. I furrowed my brows and looked at him. Him?
"Pardon me, who's 'him,'" I asked confused as I pour a cup of wine down the cup. Does he mean Alexander The Great or another colleague?
He angrily looked at me before looking away to calm himself down.
"You really don't remember?" he asked sitting up straight. I shook my head as I meet his ferocious eyes.
"Okay, let's just say that I'm not that girl you are talking about.. Even though we have the same names, or just say that I hit my head strong enough for me to forget." I spoke as I smile uneasily at him.
He pouted and looked at my with deep thoughts. "I'll go for your second opinion." he said before taking food and eat.
I raised my brows, this guy seems to have a huge crush on me.
After eating and having some small talks he decided to head back the town.. "But why without me? Did I do something wrong?" I asked as he climbs his horse.
"I'll return immediately don't worry." and with that he left me behind.
I looked around and it's noon the sun will be dropping down the hills at any hour from now. Oh, now I hope I have Draco with me.
I sighed as I lean on the tree and eat the left overs we had. I hope he really is coming back, I dont know this place.
I breathe in deeply and crossed my arms from shivering in cold. Where's the suns heat when you need it?
I pouted and went towards the rock. Finally! It's dry. I immediately used my dress and continued to wait for Heph, hopefully he would return.
After about 30 minutes Heph came back making me jump. As soon as he jumped down the horse I immediately hugged him and then silently cried.
"He-- hey, I'm sorry for leaving you, there, there," he whispered while rubbing my hair.
"Th- Thanks for coming back," I looked away and wiped my runny nose.
He smiled then held me in my waist to push me up in his horse. Heph immediately climbed up, I leaned in and rest my head to relax.
In a few minutes we were already on the town. There are soldiers lingering around, some people we left but their face was blank. My breath suddenly became rugged as I saw some men cleaning the floor that was full of blood.
"Where do you live?" he asked as he walks down the pathway. I pointed at the corner, my hands trembling in fear. My goodness I hope Draco is safe.. Though he is magical.
He furrowed his brows and walked down the ugliest house in the town. The door was open and the roof is hanging on the side.
Heph jumped down before guiding me down. I run towards the house, what if Draco is gone? And the house?
I entered the house and it looked plain. A filthy bed and near it was a stove where you cook your food. I kneeled down to look under the bed before sighing in relief.
I took out the book and hid it in my dress before facing Heph.
"Well uh-- home sweet home," I awkwardly smiled as show him where I 'Live,'
"Do you have anyone staying with you?" he asked, as if on cue Draco popped out the floor, a secret tunnel where he seemed to hide.
He walked back up and closed the door. There was a large cut in his right cheek and his left arms is bandaged.
"Draco?" Heph asked as he pat his shoulders.
Draco frowned, he leaned in to hug him too as I gave him an 'I also don't know what's happening,' look. He raised his brows as his eye color change into darker shade. What's happening?
After a few seconds they both pulled out from the hug.
"Hephaestion, nice meeting you again brother," he smiled as he pat his shoulders.
"So it Is you, what happened to Margaux? Why can't she remember me or more importantly why couldn't she remember him?"
"There you go again with him, just call 'him' Alex," I snapped and sat down the filthy bed.
"She hit her head hard while were traveling, she also got malnourished along the way since we didn't have enough money." he explained as he gave me a 'get along' look.
"I don't remember," that's what I just said before looking away.
"Very well then come with me and I'll find you a better home," he said before going out.
"Tell him no Mademoiselle," he whispered as he follows Heph outside.
I sighed and walked out too, "Heph, we're perfectly fine here." I stopped him as I pull Draco's hand.
"Bu--"
"I insist," I said with finality making him sigh.
"Very well then, I'll visit tomorrow.' he said before waving goodbye.
After he was out of sight I looked at Draco who was fixing the roof. He sighed in contentment after a couple of minutes before jumping down.
"Get inside senorita," he opened the door making me laugh. I gaped when I saw the room again. Ahh! I really love the magic.
I jumped down the sofa and stretched my wary feet.
"So how was your day with Hephaestion mademoiselle?" he asked as he puts down my coffee on the table.
I sighed in contentment after a few gulps before answering his question. "It was weird, anyways tell me what happened, you seem to know everything now." I asked as I put down the cup.
"Well I'm sorry but I think I better keep my mouth shut in this matter." he said before bowing and went straight to the kitchen.
I pouted and stared at my coffee. Hephaestion kept on mentioning me being with Alex, but why?
